UWE Insider: A Hot Topics Interview with Billsta Anderson

Hot Topics

Hello UWEniverse! How you doing? It’s Gwendy Willhelm with a special edition of Hot Topics. Today I have an exclusive interview with Billsta Anderson. Here’s a quick snippet that I enjoyed. It’s his verbatim, not mine.

I’d like to see the tag team titles be introduced, hence the reason I want to dominate that division.

We all know Angels and Demons as Lily Jackson and Billsta. Lil and Bill are quite the tag team. But there was no Lily, I met one on one with Mr. Anderson himself. I asked him questions that would spark his interest but also questions that would satiate my need to know everything. When I say I have a need to know everything, that means everything and nothing is off limits.

I hope you enjoy the interview, because I did. I’ll see you soon for more Hot Topics a bit later. Ciao!

So Billsta, after getting kidnapped before your title match. Do you think this effected your chances?

Well, that’s a good first question to start with. I got beaten half to death. Burned, drowned and gagged. Now you tell me, do you think Amy Gobraless would of shown up if that was her? No! She may have beaten me, but the matter of fact is I wasn’t a 100%. I was mentally defeated before I even shown up to that ring in Greece. It angers me that even though nothing happened to the champion and she ONLY just beats me! I mean come on, she shows up once in a blue moon and wins with her half-assing wrestling style. Is that what you call a champion Gwendy? No! A champion has the fighting spirit to be fighting each week.
Anyway, next question! The more I think of her, the more I want to cave her skull in with a brick. So…. Next!

What are your current goals?

My current goal is to go out there. Week in, week out and leave everything in the ring. Just to see the excitement on the faces of the fans.

What would you like to see happen with Angels and Demons?

Short term: Dominate everything in our paths

Long-term: Tag team champions!

What is the relationship between Lily and Billsta exactly? *Gwendy raises an eyebrow, squints her eyes and leans in towards Billsta*

We’re really good friends, I like her (Alot) *Billsta winks* but our relationship is more on professional terms. But hey! Who knows where we could end up.

After the title match against Amy… What now?

I’m going to fight my way back to the number one contender spot then take that shiny belt and turn it sideways then shove it up her hynie, NO LUBE!
*Billsta starts to chuckle* No, no seriously I plan to make my way to the top of the UWE mountain and fly the England flag proudly.

Do you have any dream matches or dream opponents?

Hmmm, well my first dream match would be an Elimination Chamber match featuring the creme de la creme of the UWE, past and present.

My dream opponent has got to be Asylum, I mean this guy is psychotic. We share the same vision of kicking asses and taking names! Me Vs Asylum in let’s say a Hell in a Cell match.

What titles do you want to see introduced into the UWE?

I’d like to see the tag team titles be introduced, hence the reason I want to dominate that division. Also I’d like to see a diva’s belt make an appearance alongside the hardcore belt. These are the best options I would like to see, also I would like to see the European Championship get introduced. Europes finest battling it out in the ring, what else can you say apart from: YES!

Finally Billsta, where can you see yourself in 1 year?

Well Gwend, is it ok to call you that? *Gwendy shakes her head in approval* Well you see, I don’t see myself as a world beater. I’d rather just beat everyone up in the world, if you catch my drift? I can see Gold & Glory and that’s all I intend to achieve. So, Gwendy. Thanks for having me, it’s been a pleasure. I’m Billsta Anderson and I have been your “The Voice of Truth” Cheers & don’t forget to watch the replays of last week! Only on the UWE network for $9.99!.

UWE Power Rankings(Post-Thermopylae Edition)

Power Rankings
  1. The Armenian Beast – Rumor has it that the assault at the hands of Morsmordre might leave the champ sidelined for a while. Nonetheless, he retained his belt at the end of the last tour. He’s still the champion which means he’s still number one!
  2. Amy GoBraless – Two in a row. Crazy. She beat Billsta and Bob at the pay-per-view, then put Billsta down again in Thermopylae. She’s one step closer to her shot at the UWE World Championship. When that time comes, she might finally grab that number one stop that’s belonged to the Beast this whole time.
  3. Morsmordre – It looks like Asylum decided to take the week off to be all broody and whatnot. Brandon Sorrow scared some children, but came up short against Special Forces. He’s a Hall of Famer…well, was, but the numbers were still against him. However, Cthuhlu went on a rampage. He interrupted the opening contest and laid waste to Ruby and Lily Jackson, then went on a brawl with Chaos to who knows where. Later in the evening, he and Chaos met in the ring, and Cthuhlu dismantled the Canadian Psycho. Holy buckets are these guys gonna hurt some people. I’m glad I’m behind this keyboard.
  4. Rhett Vipers – The two of them don’t deserve to be shoved down the list. They’ve both been on the end of some beatdowns lately and it’s not their fault. Well, maybe Jenson’s, because he decided to stick his nose in the business of Morsmordre. And Ruby…well, I guess she is guilty by association. Hopefully they can put an end to the madness and calm things down.
  5. Special Forces – Also all up in the business of Morsmordre, Special Forces tried to play the hero in London. They got some retribution at the start of the Battleground Tour, though, defeating Brandon Sorrow in handicap action. No doubt they will still be looking to take the fight to UWE’s latest oppressive force. That’ll keep them bumping up.
  6. Bob the Badguy – Nothing good or bad to post about Bob this week, well, maybe bad. Since he’s the Badguy. L. O. L. Internet lingo. Whacko stuff, huh? Anyways, he’s getting closer and closer to getting kicked off this list. Let’s see the Badguy hurt somebody!
  7. Angels and Demons – Billsta came up just short again. And Lily got thrown around by the UWE’s original monster, Cthuhlu. It’s not devastating losses. They keep getting closer and closer to what they want to achieve. Let us see how that progresses.
  8. Chaos – I guess he really is in love or something? Stepping up at the special guest referee, he had some trouble enforces the rules. Cthuhlu disrupted his match and then disrupted any momentum he might have had later in the evening, beating him 1, 2, 3.
  9. Serah Feena – She’s sitting in the 9-hole. Same situation as with Bob. Nothing good or bad. She needs to just be given opportunities. And if management won’t give them, she needs to take them!
  10. ??? – SOMEONE. ANYONE. PLEASE. Step up and jumble these power rankings!

UWE Insider: Hot Topics #5

Hot Topics

Hello, it’s time for Hot Topics! Let’s get right to it. I won’t spare the punches this week. In this edition of Hot Topics will analyze some tweets from UWE superstars. But before we get to it, there are a few issues to discuss

How about Morsmordre? Cthuhlu proved he is a dominant force by brawling with Chaos during a ladies match. Chaos was the referee, but Cthuhlu didn’t care. Cthuhlu, later that night, beat Chaos in a showdown. Chaos was angry about it on social media. Of course he’s angry.

Morsmordre, which consists of Brandon Sorrow, Asylum and Cthuhlu, is a dominant group. Brandon walked away in a loss against the Special Forces. I still see Morsmordre as a deadly trio. They will be going after the Armenian Beast and will probably set their sights on him at the Battleground pay-per view next month. Beware title holders of UWE, Morsmordre will probably set their sights on your gold.

So, let’s get to some tweets.

Serah's Tweet

Ok, really? Seriously? So what Serah Feena? You are a new diva. I can see you’re trying to be positive about it, but that is some shade right there. It’s always beneficial to train, so I look forward to your in-ring progress. I’m a fan of the ladies of UWE, so let’s see the competition between Ruby, Lily and the other girls unfold.

Chaos' Tweet

Chaos’ obsession with Lily Jackson is creepy. I’m not even going to use the word borderline to illustrate how Chaos feels for Lily, because it is outright creepy. He is obsessive and therefore intrigued by Lily. We haven’t heard much from her, or seen any on-camera interaction, but maybe we will soon. I’ll be watching.

Billsta's Tweet

How you doing, Billsta? Thank you for the shout out. You can feel free to have a word with me anytime. The UWE blog writers and columnists would love to interview you and have a word with you, myself included. Maybe we can arrange a special Hot Topics interview? I was impressed with Billsta’s title matches against Amy. He came close both times, but in the end came up short in both matches. Sorry Billsta, but there’s always next time.

Lara Pegorino's Tweet

Okay, back to Cthuhlu versus Chaos. That was quite the show down as Lara predicted. You know Lara is the network executive for the Sports Entertainment Channel? She’s the reason the UWE has a televised tour. Lara has a lot on insight in the business, so give her a follow on Twitter. You can learn a lot about the UWE, because she has true insider info. She’s always classy about it, too. No shade Lara, I really like you. Feel free to come onto Hot Topics sometime and dish with Gwendy.

Stay tuned for more Hot Topics. We’ll be sure to dish all the latest dirt and rumors. We will also do more on tweets, so watch out UWE superstars. We are always keeping an eye on your social media. The public accounts, of course.

Thank you for reading,

Gwendy.

News & Rumors

Hi guys!

When they asked me to write a blog a few weeks ago, I didn’t really know what to reply. What should I write about? After all, I’m just a boring girl who leads a boring life. Some people might say my job is interesting, fascinating even, but really, it’s not. At least, I thought so. Lara (Pegorino) once told me that only those who work their butts off all day every day make it to the top; and she was right. But I’ve seen that there’s so much more to this life. In these few weeks I have already experienced things that I know I will never forget. Like your first match (and winning it!). Your first autograph. The first smile on the face of a fan when you pose for a picture. The first time in the ring with someone I love. The first transatlanctic flight (which was a thing to remember for me, but not in a positive way). Seeing the Big Ben and the London Eye for the first time. And of course: granting that first wish. Those things are also part of the life I lead, and they more than make up for all the hardship you endure, but inside and outside of the ring.

I’m not in this for the fame, I never have been, but I must admit that it’s nice to receive fanmail from girls who write to me, saying that I have been an example to them, that you don’t have to be the tallest or the strongest to be successful, and that, like me, they can achieve everything they’ve ever dreamed of if they work hard. I hope I can continue down this particular path: be a good role model, be a good wrestler, be a good girlfriend and… be a good ‘whatever it is Jenson’s daughter wants me to be’. And for all the teenage girls with dreams I have a message: try, and don’t be afraid to fail. Failure is a part of life, and not only is it something you shouldn’t be ashamed of, failure is something that is essential if you want to succeed. Not only will it harden you, but in the future you will savor that success twice as much and appreciate all those things you have worked so hard for. Don’t let it define you; learn from your mistakes and live life to its (and yours) fullest potential.

That’s what I have done. I’m not saying that everybody should be like me, but those simple tips will certainly help you. I know they helped me. That’s why this week, I am not afraid of stepping into the ring with Lily Jackson. I know she’s tough. I know she can be mean and distrusting. I know she can be vicious and cold. But I don’t fear losing to her; as some wise woman once said: fear of failure is more debilitating than fear itself. Besides, I’m certain that underneath Lily Jackson’s cold façade beats the heart of a loving, gentle woman. I’m certain of that. It’s just a shame she might not realize it herself.

So this week I will go at it alone. Jenson won’t be with me. I’ll go one on one, and I’m going to give it my best shot. Will I succeed. I don’t know. I will try. But I’m not scared to lose. And neither should you be.

Love

Ruby

UWE Staff Interviews: Meet Kennedi and Mackenzi

Interviews & Questionnaires

The identical twin sisters live together in an apartment in Toronto. They are Chett Rosenthal’s personal assistants, but when they’re not holding down the office at the UWE head quarters they are on tour with the company. The sisters may lack the in-ring wrestling experience, but they are completely business savvy.

UWE Adam: How did you get your jobs as assistants?

K: I applied for an internship and then I got Mackenzi a position when they were hiring just two weeks later.
M: Yes, Kennedi helped me get on after she was hired.
K: I found an ad online.
M: We both worked as interns in the office at the UWE headquarters in Toronto.

UWE Adam: So, you were interns first and then you became the UWE Owner’s personal assistants?

M: No not right away.
K: At first I worked in the offices in Toronto, but Chett liked my work ethic a month or so into working for UWE.
M: They liked us both.
K: Chett asked us personally, to be his personal assistants.
M: It took awhile, but it was worth it.

UWE Adam: What do you hope to gain from this experience?

K: The work experience, of course. Mac and I love our jobs and Chett has given us additional responsibilities.

UWE Adam: Like what kind of additional responsibilities?

K: When he’s away he will let one of us step up. We have proven ourselves capable of such responsibilities.
M: In the past it’s been Kennedi, but he has also let me take over when he goes on flights.
K: Sometimes he will leave one of us behind and take the other on the business trip.

UWE Adam: What credentials do you ladies have, where did you attend school?

K: We both have office education certificates…
M: …in addition to budding degrees in business school.
K: Yes, we both major in finance.

UWE Adam: Interesting, so you’re both involved in the financial aspects of UWE?

K: Not really, but it’s stuff we’re familiar with.
M: We do minor paper work.
K: Between the two of us we get a lot done.
M: Chett adores how we keep things in order.

UWE Adam: Are either of you trained wrestlers or trained to be in-ring?

M: No, not at all.
K: Not at all, no.

UWE Adam: Okay, thank you for your time ladies.

M: Thank you, Adam.
K: Adam, thank you.
