UWE Results: September to Remember PPV

Results

1.Craven beats Billsta in the opening match
Well, Craven and Billsta were impressive here. Craven was able to win here. If Craven can keep this up, he can be on road to stardom in the UWE.

2. Serah loses to Lily in a ladies match
Lily is on a roll over all the other ladies. She has been able to beat all of the girls at some point, but more recently she’s on a tear against the other women.

3. Rising Star flop
Ruby versus Amy never happened. The match was simply a flop, but it will be interesting to see where things go in the Rising Star Championship picture.

4. World title match is a hot mess
The triple threat World title match between the Armenian Beast, Asylum and Chaos was a heated match. It was kind of a hot mess. The referee declared both men the winners and the Beast retains the title. Surely a rematch is bound to happen between these two.

UWE Insider: New divisions

News & Rumors

General Manager Caroline Cage has interest in reviving the UWE Hardcore division as well as the UWE Women’s division. The Women’s Championship later became the Diva’s Championship, but there is interest in the Women’s title returning rather than the Diva name. Both titles are presently retired, but Mrs. Cage hopes to change that.

The Women’s title was apart of the UWE launch in 2004 (renamed in 2005), while the Hardcore title debuted in 2007 and later returned in 2009. Both titles were retired a few years ago.

The two titles are inactive and will remain vacant, but Mrs. Cage wants to have the titles on hand. When she feels the time is right, she will introduce the belt. This is similar to the Tag Team title belts. They are inactive, but are on hand for managements discretion.

“The Hardcore title was supposed to be introduced this summer, but the plans fizzled out” admits Caroline to the UWE blog staff. “The Hardcore and Women’s titles will join the Tag Team titles. If and only if the board of directors feel it is necessary, a new title may be unveiled. Whether or not this is at the cost of a present title, that is at the discretion of UWE management.”

UWE Insider: Hot Topics #7

Hot Topics

My name is Gwendy and I got the dirt and the opinion to go along with it. Welcome to another edition of Hot Topics. Let’s cut to the chase.

So UWEniverse, you’ll never guess who I managed to get a future interview with! …Lara Pegorino! With some persistence and some poking around, because it’s what I do, she agreed to talk.

Lara's Tweet
This gossip blogger is excited. How you doing, Lara? We’ll speak soon and I look forward to it.

So, as you all know it’s pay-per view week and things are busy around the UWE. In the locker room, as well as the board room, things are probably hectic. I’m sure Lara along with all of the other business suits have engagements this week, so the interview will come soon. Thank you for your patience, but Ms. Pegorino is a busy, busy woman.

I have questions for Lara and I’m also wondering where Lucilla is. The focus of the interview is Lara, but of course I will bring up Lucilla Pegorino. Remember she got suspended? They are sisters and if anyone has any info, it would be Lara. Lara know’s how we do on Hot Topics, but I will clear everything before hand so it’s not uncomfortable.

If you have any questions for Lara comment on the blog, tweet @UWENetwork or reach us through the email ultimate.wrestling.ent@gmail.com

As you all know, the pay-per view is coming soon as the Battleground tour draws to a close. The UWE says it will be a September to Remember. Well, so far, the shows have been memorable. There have been some new debuts and developments.

Amy Gobraless will be challenged by Ruby from the Rhett Vipers. How you doing ladies? In my opinion, Ruby is a threat to Amy’s legacy as a champion. She will have to bring her top game against the challenger Ruby. I think these women will bring down the house. The culmination of the Battleground Tour features many blow outs, but this one has to be my favourite.

The Armenian Beast has two challengers; Asylum and Chaos. Asylum won his way into the match by picking up numerous victories this summer. Chaos, in contrast, suffered many losses. He was given a chance for a title shot in the beat the clock tournament. It will be interesting to see two challengers who came into this match in two different ways.

Our beloved UWE Champion the Armenian Beast was off of UWE television for awhile, at least in the wresting sense. He was able to beat Asylum’s impostor. The poser wasn’t able to win, but he had me fooled. You know, I honestly thought the fake Asylum was the real deal. I just thought he became a lot more agile. The wool was pulled over my eyes. I’m wondering, though, why would Asylum go through all the trouble to have an impostor work the match? Oh I know, the save his strength for the title match. Tricky, tricky, but it’s the Masked Madman. What should we expect from the lunatic in a straight jacket?

So, UWE signs a new talent. Princess Diamond Diva. How you doing Diamond Diva? Welcome to the UWEniverse. UWE is always looking for new talent. There should be a refer a friend program. I don’t know anyone, personally, but I’m just saying.

Thank you for reading,
Gwendy W.

Power Rankings Post-Stalingrad Edition

Power Rankings

1. The Armenian Beast (2) – Beast won his in-ring return during the main event. Although Beast beat Asylum’s doppleganger, poser or whoever that was, the Armenian Beast remains the dominant UWE Champion. Thus, Beast takes the number one spot.

2. Morsmordre (1) – Asylum technically didn’t lose to the Armenian Beast and consequently falls back a spot due to the loss and inactivity. However, Asylum remains at number two and will go on to face the Champion and Chaos at the PPV.

3. Rhett Vipers (N/A) – Thanks to Ruby, the Rhett Vipers hang in as a formidable tag team. Ruby is the number one contender for the Rising Star Championship. She was almost a World title contender, but she’s not quite there, yet.

4. Angels and Demons (N/A) – The tag team remains in the fourth spot after both members suffered from a loss. They are in detriment of losing their spot on the rankings unless they can pick up a win here soon.

5. Amy Gobraless (N/A) – Amy Gobraless remains in the power rankings and edges out the top five. The UWE Rising Star Champion could very well climb the rankings or fall out of the top five after the pay-per view. She defends her belt against Ruby in a title bout.

6. Chaos (8) – Chaos won his beat the clock match and will now get a World title shot against two other competitors. Lucky for him. Or is it unlucky? Chaos will have to face Asylum and Armenian Beast. Chaos sits at number six.

7. Tyler Reeves (6) – Reeves was unsuccessful against Chaos, so he moves down the rankings by one spot. He takes the seventh slot on the rankings this week.

8. Special Forces (7) – The Special Forces fall back on the rankings due to a week off in-ring duty. They are merely a victim of circumstance.

9. Serah Feena (N/A) – Serah remains in the ninth position due to an inactive week. We like you Serah, but you won’t rise up unless you can get some W’s. Otherwise you will be a victim of circumstance.

10. Craven (N/A) – Ah, a new entrant to the power rankings. Craven didn’t make a big enough splash in the beat the clock matches to earn a title match. But the win was enough to see Craven become a new addition to the weekly power rankings. He sits in the ten spot.

UWE Results: Stalingrad Show

Results

If you missed the show, here are the results from the Stalingrad show.

1. Caroline Cage’s announcement
She basically declared Asylum the challenger to look out for in the the World title picture. He earned a spot in the title match with the Armenian Beast. Whoever wins his or her beat the clock match in the fastest time will make it a triple threat.

2. Craven defeats Billsta and Demoana with a roll up on Demoana
Craven was the first to win a beat the clock match by pinning Demoana. Craven wins in 5 minutes and 55 seconds.

3. Ruby defeats Lily in a fast, but impressive, match
Ruby stomped on Lily from the top rope to pick up the win here. Lily nearly landed a Chick Kick, which was the turning point in this match up. Ruby wins in 4 minutes and 55 seconds. This was a great match and both ladies shined in this one.

4. Chaos defeats Tyler Reeves with a Taste of Chaos
And Chaos wins in 4 minutes and 50 seconds. Reeves versus Chaos was a decent match. Chaos made quick work of Reeves after Reeves missed with a springboard 450. Ouch!

This means that Amy will put the Rising Star title on the line against Ruby. And Chaos will now compete along with Asylum and The Armenian Beast at the pay-per view in a triple threat for the UWE World Championship.

Things are about to get interesting.
