After a chaotic OTT XXVII, we’re finally here… Anything Goes, the night where UWE takes it to the extreme! Every match will have a special stipulation, and all titles will be on the line!
But we have much more than just that on offer. Marisol Hawkes will fight in what is rumored to be her last ever match, and it will be an emotional affair as she takes on Tiami Erickson. Tiami will set aside her differences with Marcus LeVine for just one night, as Marisol looks to go out on a high.
Speaking of LeVine, the sinister Canadian will have a chance to cement his status as one of UWE’s most vicious and cruel. He specially requested the most brutal of matches and the toughest of opponents, so Lara Pegorino decreed he do battle with the promising up-and-comer Caliee Adams in a match that is guaranteed to make someone bleed… It’s First Blood to the finish!
SO watch, as The Armenian Beast and Eavan Maloney defend their titles against their contenders. And prepare to be amazed as #EmphasisOnBullet takes on the formidable duo of Ruby and Corporal Punishment.
It’s Anything Goes! Blood will be shed. Victories will be earned. Spoils will be enjoyed!

Show Opener – Hardcore Match
Mike Manning vs. Michael Kelly

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

“The Hapless One” stands tall, looking unusually confident. That is, until Michael Kelly’s music hits. He confidently walks through the curtain, sporting his new eye candy on his arm, Belle Valentine. The two walk down the ramp and into the ring as Michael walks up to Mike Manning’s face. Towering over Manning, The Maestro Of Strong Style begins to berate him with insults, the spit flying out of his mouth and onto his opponent’s face. The look of rage begins to build on Manning’s face as he’s had enough of the barking, slapping the absolute taste out of Michael Kelly’s mouth and sending him back a few feet. Referee Hemphill has seen enough and quickly calls for the bell to start the match. Ding! Ding! Ding! Michael rubs his face and perversely smiles back at Manning. Full of adrenaline and confidence, Mike Manning runs at Kelly but is quickly brought back to reality with a thrust kick to the chest, sending him flying to the nearest corner of the ring. Stalking his prey, Kelly keeps him in the ring and begins driving his knee into Manning’s abdomen with a massive amount of intensity. The impact of each knee sends the back of Manning’s head to slam into the turnbuckle.

ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! JJ Hemphill pushes Michael off of the clearly out of it Manning who soon after slumps into the corner with glossy eyes. The referee takes a knee to check on Manning who doesn’t seem to know where he’s at. Kelly pushes the referee out of the way and drags “The Hapless One” to his feet. Michael cocks back and slaps Manning, sending him back down to the floor. Michael walks around his prone body and begins kicking him in the back of the head to add insult to injury. Leaning over, Kelly starts to lay into Manning with a flurry of elbows to the side of the head before he decides to himself that it’s time to end it. Grabbing Manning by the hair, Kelly pulls him up to his feet and reveals the work of his elbows, a disgusting looking crimson mask upon the face of his opponent. Running to the corner, Michael looks at the groggy Manning and sticks his hands out with finger guns. Bouncing off of the corner, Michael runs full force toward Manning, hitting the “Date With Desti-Knee”, driving his knee to the side of his skull and dropping him like a sack of bricks. Kelly hooks the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 04:20
–MICHAEL KELLY—

Michael stands up to his feet and smiles at the mess that he’s made, wiping Manning’s blood off of his own chest. Referee Hemphill attempts to raise Michael’s arm to which he declines with a deadly serious glare. Michael signals to the referee that “This is his time” and that he “Better get your ass out of my ring”. JJ Hemphill gets out of dodge, hopping out of the ring while Michael stands over the helpless Mike Manning. Reaching down, Michael grabs onto Manning’s left arm with both hands and looks out at the crowd. Looking at his opponent, Michael drops down to the mat and a loud CRACKING sound echoes throughout the first few rows of the arena. Mike Manning yells out, grabbing at his newly broken arm and flopping across the ring in pain. The medical staff quickly runs through the curtain to tend to Mike Manning as Michael and Belle leave up the ramp.

Match Two – First Blood Match
Caliee Adams vs. Marcus LeVine

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

As Caliee Adams stood in the ring, waiting for her opponent, there was nothing. No lights, no imagery, no music, there was only silence. The fans grew restless, and more importantly, Caliee grew restless. She was practically barking at the referee to get Marcus down to the ring, but it was to no avail. After four minutes of nothing, the referee was prepared to call for the bell, but just before he could, Heathens by Twenty One Pilots blasted into the arena. The fans actually let out a small cheer, not for Marcus, but for the fact that he was finally on his way to the ring.

Or so they thought. Marcus was still nowhere to be seen, and as the words to the song came in, the fans had been waiting for Marcus for well over five minutes. Finally, the Saint of Hardcore stepped onto the stage, and his music died down. He wasn’t dressed for competition, however. Marcus was wearing what seemed to be an incredibly expensive suit, and his fiancee was in an equally expensive dress. The Maniac of Montreal was also holding a microphone and humming a menacing tone as he walked down the ramp. Marcus could hear the chorus of boos, and he grew annoyed at the sound as he let out a small outpouring of emotions into his speech, “Ladies and gentlemen, there is a reason I’m holding a microphone and you are not, and it’s because what I have to say is important, what you have to say: no one cares. So shut up.”

The outburst by LeVine only made the fans boo louder, and the superstar could be heard growling as he looked towards Caliee.

“Caliee is that how you say that? Is it said like “K-lee” or more like a “Ca-lee”? You know what, don’t answer, I really don’t care. Caliee, I’m out here because, well, one, we have a match scheduled, but honestly if I cared about that I would have actually dressed for the occasion now wouldn’t I? The more important reason that I’m here is that you have kind of been pissing me off for a while now. I mean, why do you have a contract? Why are you in this company? You don’t deserve it. You’re a nobody. I’m the future of the industry and yet I have to share an employer with the dregs of society, a useless pretty face with no actual abilities. You see, I’m not wasting my time with an invalid, I want this company to employ some actual talent.”

Marcus let out a small smile, and laughed a quiet, maniacal laugh before continuing:

“Which is why I got them to hire this man.”

As Marcus finished his statement, he was pointing behind Caliee, and as The South Hampton Heroine turned around, she was met with a man who dwarfed her in size. Caliee was decked with a clothesline, and the shot hit like a shotgun as she flew backwards and did a full flip, landing on her face. The Monster inside the ring continued to dismantle Caliee, hitting her with one suplex after another, each one being a different version; German, T-bone, belly-to-belly, Dragon, Back. All the while Marcus LeVine began to hype up his acquisition.

“This, my dear friends, is Hachirou Eto. Eto here has been making a name for himself in Japan, or at least, he should have been. If you couldn’t tell, the dude is a genetic freak show. Nearly seven feet tall, well over Three-hundred pounds, and still one of the fastest men in the wrestling world. He truly is, as he has been called, “The God of Warfare”. I wouldn’t want to mess with the dude. Me! And I’m a freaking psycho. You know what though, why should Eto get all the fun? That doesn’t seem fun.

I got it, I got it! Chris! Joey! Get out here! Let’s have some fun boys.”

Marcus threw his mic to the ground and rolled into the ring, Chris and Joey were quick to join him from backstage. Inside the ring, Eto was still picking Caliee apart, having just thrown her into the turnbuckle so hard the ring was shaking. Caliee got no rest though because as she was about to fall forward she was met by Marcus LeVine, who lifted her up onto his shoulders. He laughed as he saw his runway across the ring, and he went full speed ahead, driving Caliee into the turnbuckles with a massive running death valley driver into them. He watched on as Caliee crumbled into the mat, but he still wasn’t done, he was sending a message not only to Caliee but to the head office of UWE. He picked up the defenceless athlete and whipped her towards the One Man Mountain Mover, Hachirou Eto. The massive athlete tossed Adams into the air as if she was weightless. Gravity, however, didn’t see her as such, and she was brought back down to Eto, who picked her out of the air and sent her crashing to the mat with a power slam. Caliee screamed, clearly something was wrong, but those screams only seemed to feed even further into the maniacs twisted need, and he dropped to his hands and knees, yelling at Caliee to get up again, begging her to make the mistake of moving.

Marcus crawled to the ropes like a snake and stretched his arms out for a microphone, his fiancee obliging him.

“Caliee, caliee, caliee. We aren’t done yet. We’re not done here yet. These people want blood! UWE wants blood. That’s why they put us in this match, they wanted blood, so how about it, let’s give them blood!”

Marcus dropped the microphone once again and stood up, pulling his devilish instrument out of his pocket; a switch blade. He held it high for the world to see, and just as quickly as he had pulled it out, Chris and Joey were holding Caliee up, putting her on her knees. Marcus placed the blade against her forehead, and let out a wicked smile as he slid the blade across, leaving a nice trail of blood behind it, and letting a cascade of it pour down her face. Marcus closed his blade and sent a last parting gift to his would-be opponent. He sent her sprawling to the mat with a superkick.

He looked at Caliee’s nearly lifeless body and called for him and his compatriates to leave.

Match Three – Tables Match
UWE Universal Tag Team Title Number One Contendership
New Found Attitude vs. Dogs Of War

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

There’s bad blood in the air as New Found Attitude and the Dogs of War prepare to start their match. After some quick deliberation between the teams it’s decided that Mike Rosati and Jared Oliver will be the first men in. The pair circle slowly for a moment and size one another up. Jared moves in to lock up when Maddogg jams a thumb in his eye. The elder brother reels and Rosati moves in to lock into a tight headlock. The cagey veteran squeezes hard and cranks down on his opponent.

Jared pulls down on Mike’s arm to create space and then pulls it back to counter the headlock into a hammer lock. Maddogg grunts and elbows back but Jared surprises him by ducking under it. He keeps hold of the hammer lock with one arm then grabs Rosati’s waist with the other, lifting him into a back suplex.

Jared gets up quickly and moves to grab Mike’s leg. He aims to slam his injured knee but Mike counters with a Greco Roman kick to the groin. Jared falls to his knees and Mike kicks him hard in the face. The veteran stands and then lifts Jared up before scoop slamming him to the mat. From there he hits the ropes and drops an elbow across Jared’s chest. Rosati picks him up again then pulls him over to his corner before tagging David Stone in.

When Stone enters New Found Attitude double Irish whips Jared into the corner then Stone whips Maddogg so Rosati can deliver an extra powerful clothesline to Jared. Maddogg then climbs out of the ring, leaving Stone to continue the match. David walks over to Jared and climbs to the second rope, delivering hard punches to his face as the crowd counts.

As Stone prepares to land the seventh Jared blocks and shoves Stone off. The personification of Perfection rolls with it and stands up to rush the corner. Jared rolls forward under the attempted clothesline and lets Stone collide with the corner. David turns slowly and is greeted by a hard kick that drops him to the mat. Jared then stomps down onto his fallen foe a few times before lifting him back up to perform a snap suplex. The elder Oliver then picks Stone up once more before attempting a swinging neck breaker. Stone counters with a hard knee to the gut then hits a snap SET.

David picks his opponent up and whips him roughly to the corner. Stone follows up with a clothesline that turns into a bulldog. Stone quickly gets to the corner for another tag. New Found Attitude shows off their team work by lifting Jared into a double suplex. The Dog of War comes crashing down but is picked up and double whipped into the ropes. Rosati and Stone attempt a double clothesline but Jared ducks under and hits the ropes again, coming back for a flying lariat to both men.

Jared quickly rolls through and rushes to tag his brother in. Danny rushes in and clotheslines Stone out of the ring and then turns to throw hard punches at Maddogg. Danny then flings Rosati into the ropes, as Maddogg comes back Danny lifts him into a snap powerslam. The younger Oliver roars as he stands and the crowd roars with him. Jared quickly slides a table into the ring and Danny sets it up. He then picks Mike up and tries to suplex him through the table. Maddogg blocks the attempt and counters with a suplex of his own.

Mike gets back up and lifts Danny back up and starts to hammer him with hard shots. Danny is forced back to the corner and Mike runs back then rushes forward to land a big dropkick. Danny falls to the ground and only stays seated because of the ropes. Rosati jumps up again and lands another dropkick, this time in the face. Maddogg then lifts his opponent up again, this time hitting a scoop slam followed by an elbow drop. Mike then stand a and lands a second elbow drop, a third. He stands over Danny then leaps high into the air to drop a huge elbow down.

Mike picks Danny up and pulls him over to the table and tries to whip Danny into the ropes. Danny suddenly reverses, sending Rosati back to the ropes. Right before he hits the ropes Mike and Stone reach out and also hands, Danny doesn’t notice however and picks Rosati up into a spine buster, driving Maddogg through the table. The younger Oliver stands and lifts his arms in triumph. The ref steps in and shakes his head, explaining about the tag. Danny doesn’t get much time to argue, however, as he eats a super kick from Stone!

David picks the fallen Danny up and flings him into the corner. Stone then helps Mike up and both men head over and begin to punch and kick Danny. The ref tries to usher Maddogg out but he shouts out 9n response.

“No DQ, asshole!”

New Found Attitude then resume their assault. Jared rushes in and drops Stone over the rope with a dropkick. Jared turns to attack Maddogg and lands some big punches before Mike blocks and fires a big kick into Jared’s stomach and then hits the jaw breaker. Stone gets to his feet and slides the other table in to his partner. Maddogg sets it up then picks Jared up and lifts him into a suplex that sends him through the second table. Stone rolls back into ring and begins to celebrate with Mike. The ref once again walks in and shakes his head. He informs Mike that neither he nor Jared was the legal man, New Found Attitude’s plan backfired.

Danny comes in and double clotheslines the opponents to the ground. The younger Oliver then heads over to help his brother up. Jared shakes the cobwebs out as the other team starts to get up. Danny clotheslines Maddogg out of the ring and picks David up as Jared heads out to get a third table. Danny hits Stone with the D Town Detonator as Jared puts the table in the corner. The brothers put Stone against the table and then Danny backs up and rushes at Jared who grabs his brother into a monkey flip to send Danny into a cannonball that sends him crashing into Stone and through the table.

Winners, by putting an opponent through the table at 10:02 and NEW number one contender’s to the UWE Universal Tag Team Championships
–DOGS OF WAR–

The bell rings and the Dogs of War raise their arms in victory. Mike rolls into the ring with a chair and slams it into Danny. Jared turns in surprise but he too eats a chair. Maddogg raises his weapon and drives it down onto each brother in turn before dragging Danny out of the ring. Stone slowly rolls out of the ring as well and together they lift Danny up and double suplex him through the announce table.

The crowd boos wildly as New Found Attitude leaves their opponents lying unconscious and head for the back.

Match Five – Last Woman Standing
Tiami Erickson vs. Marisol Hawkes

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

This is it. Marisol Hawkes’ last ever appearance inside a squared circle, and she is going out on her own terms. As she stands face to face with Tiami Erickson, the crowd starts a rapturous ‘THANK-YOU-MA-RI-SOL’ chant, paying respect to the woman who is intent on going out with a bang.

Indeed, as Corey Miner calls for the bell, she bangs Tiami straight in the head. She’s definitely not planning on going out on her back! Tiami is driven back into the ropes by Marisol’s flurry of punches and elbow strikes, and Marisol shoves her into them, before hitting a belly-to-belly suplex on the rebound, sending Tiami overhead.

Erickson gets back to her feet, but Marisol is straight in her case, and grabs Tiami from behind. She nails her with a German suplex, and keeps her arms locked! She hits three more rolling Germans, and asks that Corey start the count as Tiami stays down. The referee obliges.

ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Tiami gets back to her knees, but takes her time, realizing she will get back up before the ten count and there is no rush.
FOUR!
FIVE!
Tiami gets back to her feet and the referee stops the count. Marisol comes flying in with a crossbody to take Tiami down again, and she hits it… but Tiami grabs aholdof her and as they land on the canvas, she rolls through and lifts Marisol up, before sending Hawkes flying with a fallaway slam! Marisol lands hard but manages to roll through. But as soon as she gets up, Tiami hits her with a running clothesline.
With Hawkes down, Tiami grabs her ankle and starts twisting it, locking in an ankle lock. Hawkes starts screaming in pain, and grabs a hold of the bottom rope, but to no avail… there is no breaking up a submission in a Last Woman Standing Match. Tiami ups the torque even more, and Hawkes’ screams almost double as a result. Hawkes knows there is only one way to escape: get to the outside! She pulls on the rope with all her might, until she manages to grab hold of the apron. With the added leverage, she forces her upper body out of the ring until eventually Tiami has no choice but to release the hold.

But as Hawkes gets back to her feet on the outside, the limp is apparent, and she seems to have been slowed down significantly. Tiami notices and is in straight pursuit, rolling out of the ring. And even though Marisol is a friend, Tiami is also a fierce competitor, and therefore she picks out her opponent’s weakest spot: her back. Tiami comes running hit and absolutely nails Marisol with a running elbow to the lower back, which has given Marisol so much trouble recently and is ultimately one of the contributing factors in her decision to hang up her boots. Hawkes collapses, clutching her back in pain, and Tiami grabs a handful of her blue hair, lifting her back up to her feet. She grabs Marisol by the wrist, and then Irish Whips her back-first into the steel ringpost!

Yes, this is Anything Goes, and things are about to become a whole lot more extreme. Marisol screams in agony once again, and Tiami sizes her up, looking to put her away for good. She rushes in, but Marisol ducks out of the way and Tiami runs straight into the ringpost, shoulder first! Marisol gets back up and fighting through the pain, she kicks Tiami in the gut and hits her with a Twist of Fate on the outside!

The crowd turns it up a notch, cheering for both Tiami and Marisol, and they go berserk as Hawkes hops on top of the apron, and then climbs the turnbuckles! She points at Tiami, the crowd, and then at the ceiling! She’s about to raise the roof. She’s going out on a bang, and she is going to make sure she takes Tiami down with her. She leaps off the top turnbuckle to the outside… DIVINE FORGIVENESS!!!!

MISSED!!!!!!

Tiami rolls out of the way right on time and Marisol lands on the outside, right on her back. Both women are down as the crowd starts a HOLY SHIT chant, and Miner starts a count with both women down.

ONE!
TWO!
Tiami starts to stir, but Marisol shows no movement.
THREE!
FOUR!
Tiami is on her knees. Marisol stirs slightly.
FIVE!
SIX!
Tiami is up! She’s up on her feet. She’s panting and looks at Marisol who is slowly but surely trying to recover, although it’s obviously more on instinct than anything else.
SEVEN!
EIGHT!
Marisol’s hand grabs the ringside barricade!
NINE!
Marisol uses the barricade to pull herself up! Her legs are wobbly and shaky, but her knees are off the ground, and Corey Miner declares her as standing!

Tiami seems impressed and the crowd chant Marisol’s name in admiration of her courage, willpower and endurance. But as she looks up at Tiami, eyes glazed, there is a certain aura of inevitability surrounding it all. Tiami takes a deep breath, charges, and…

DEAD AS ICE THROUGH THE BARRICADE! Tiami spears Marisol, and they both fly through the barricade separating them from the fans, who scream in in unison. Miner, with both ladies down once again, starts another count!

ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
Neither woman has budged so far.
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
Tiami begins to stir slightly, but so does Marisol!
EIGHT!
Tiami’s on her knees, and clutches at a nearby empty chair, abandoned by a fan, for leverage. Marisol is absently flailing her arms, looking for similar support.
NINE!
Tiami uses the chair to pull herself to her feet. Marisol is on her knees!
TEN!
Marisol collapses back to the floor as Tiami Erickson stands on shaky legs! The referee declares the match over, and Tiami Erickson the winner!

Winner, by being the Last Woman Standing at 11:35
–TIAMI ERICKSON–

As the bell rings, the crowd cheer for both Tiami and Marisol. Erickson goes over to Marisol and helps her back to her feet, before the two share a hug under rapturous applause, which only is amplified when TImothy Hunt and Ricky Molaroni show up. The two men join in the embrace, and as they walk over to the entrance ramp, Molaroni hoists Marisol up his shoulders. This allows her to fully take in the admiration of the crowd one last time as the curtain falls on her wrestling career. There weren’t many dry eyes in the audience, rest assured of that.

Match Six – Ladder Match
Canadian Championship Match
The Armenian Beast © vs. Jake Donaldson

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Jake Donaldson begins his match against the mountainous Canadian Champion by bringing the fight aggressively to his foe. Donaldson rushes across the ring and begins laying into Gurgen with a flurry of punches and forearm strikes that takes the massive monster of a man by surprise. The beastly bearded brute attempt a to counter attack by swinging his meaty paw at Jake but the quicker Jake ducks under the clubbing swing and hits the ropes. Jake comes back and jumps to hit Gurgen in the knee with a low drop kick, stumbling the beast. The leader of Torment continues assaulting the leg of his fearsome for by launching several quick but hard kicks into the back of Gurgen’s leg. After several kicks Gurgen finally goes down to one knee. Jake hits the ropes again and then rushes back to launch another dropkick into the beastly champion’s chest. Gurgen rocks but stays up, causing Donaldson to repeat the attack, which rocks the mountain of a man even further but still fails to drop the resilient champion. Jake runs to bounce off the ropes once more but this time leaps into a Thesz press. Beast hits the canvas and Jake fires off several hard right hands to the hairy face of the Armenian Beast.

After several blows land Jake finally stands and walks to the lower body of Gurgen. From there Donaldson begins to stomp on the knee he had been attacking earlier, bringing his foot down several times onto the Beast’s leg. After a few hard kicks Jake lifts the leg up and elbow drops the knee, then again, three times! Finished with his abuse of the leg Jake goes back to Gurgen’s head and tries to lift the massive man up again but suddenly howls in pain. The source of his anguish is soon apparent, Gurgen has bit down hard onto his opponent’s hand and like a pitbull is locked on tight.

Jake punches and kicks at Gurgen but can’t get him to release the bite. Gurgen finally lets go but only after he reaches out and grabs hold of Jake. The Beastly Brute then flings Jake with a huge belly to belly suplex. Donaldson gets back up quickly and rushes back to his opponent but Gurgen manages to scoop him up and fling him once more across the ring. Jake gets to his feet slower this time, giving Beast time to cross the ring with a noticeable limp.

As the torment gym leader gets back up he is greeted by a meaty forearm that drops him again. Gurgen lifts his foe back up and then again slams his huge paw down onto him. Jake slowly begins to get back up but the Armenian Beast isn’t patient enough to wait so he picks Donaldson back up and whips him hard into the corner. Gurgen follows, forcing himself to run on his site knee. Before he can comnect, however, Jake lifts his foot to kick the Beast in the face. Gurgen stumbles and shakes his head quickly then rushes back in, this time Donaldson leans back and kicks both feet up. Gurgen staggers from the double kick and Jake quickly climbs to the top turnbuckle.

Jake flies through the air and tries to drop a fist into Gurgen’s face but the Armenian Beast shoots an arm up and catches his opponent by the throat. Donaldson struggles to get free but Gurgen keeps a tight hold of his neck with his massive paw of a hand. Gurgen lifts his opponent up and drives him into the canvas with a huge choke slam and drops down for the pin.

The dim witted champion looks to the referees, curious as to why no count had begun. The red points out the fact that they are currently in a ladder match and motions to the ladder outside the ring as the crowd chants.

“Get the Ladder! Get the Ladder!”

The Armenian Beast nods and rolls out of the ring to retrieve the ladder. He brings it back in and lifts it over his head before driving down onto Jake. Gurgen then lays across the ladder that is laying across Donaldson and attempts another pin. JJ puts his face in his hand and shakes his head. The poor referee taps Gurgen on the shoulder and points to the belt hanging over the ring. The crowd begins to call out again.

“Climb the ladder! Climb the ladder!”

A look of sudden realization comes over Gurgen’s face. He lifts the ladder off of his foe and sets it up under the belt and climbs. As he nearly reaches his goal Jake gets to his feet and stumbles over to push the ladder over. The Armenian Beast goes into a free fall that stops only when he collides with the corner, going face first into the turnbuckle. Jake brings the ladder over and sets it back up, beginning his own climb to the top.

Gurgen slowly rises and begins to stagger over to the ladder. Jane grabs hold of the belt but before he can retrieve it the ladder is yanked away, leaving the gym leader dangling in the air from the belt! Gurgen begins shouting at Jake, demanding he come down and continue the match. When Jake refuses the Beast uses the ladder like a giant fly swatter and slams it into Donaldson, causing him to plummet to the ring.

The beast walks over and slams the ladder into Jake, then again. Gurgen sets up the ladder again and climbs to the top. Jake forces himself to stand and slowly gets to the ladder and climbs up as well. Both men get to the top and Jake begins hammering Gurgen as the Beast tries to get the belt. Gurgen takes several shots then begins fighting back as both men trade blows. Jake staggers and Gurgen grabs hold and…Beard to the Face!

Donaldson struggles as the Beast squeezes the life out of him. Donaldson flails uselessly against the hold and begins to go limp. Jake is held up only by Gurgen and looks as if he’s done. Jake suddenly gets a second wind and begins laying punches into his foe. The Beast finally releases the hold and Donaldson keeps punching and then winds up and punches hard. Gurgen begins to fall but reaches up and grabs the belt in desperation. His weight and the fact that the belt had been pulled on before causes it to pull free. Jake watches in horror as the belt falls with Gurgen and continues to stare in disbelief as the bell rings to declare Beast the winner.

Winner, by retrieving the Canadian title at 11:58 AND STILL Canadian Champion…

Match Seven – Barbed Wire Steel Cage Tornado Elimination Match
UWE Universal Tag Team Tournament final
Ruby & Corporal Punishment vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

It’s finally here! With the grand final of the tag team tournament having been postponed due to Asylum’s attack on #EOB at the last OTT, Lara Pegorino decreed that the final would happen at Anything Goes inside of a barbed wired steel cage! As the cage lowers, the audience screams and when the two teams get inside of the hellacious structure, the Stampede Corral is absolutely electrified!

Right before Morello calls for the bell, Ruby offers her traditional handshake. The audience waits with bated breath to see if Adeline will accept, but after Wulf nods and shakes Ruby’s head, the Crimson Bullet does the same, before shaking Punishment’s hand as well.

But a handshake is just that, and Adelina and Ruby immediately lock up in the middle of the ring! Wulf and the Corporal shrug, and it’s on! Wulf launches himself at Punishment. The corporal catches him in mid-air however, and launches him overhead with a belly to belly as the crowd cheers. But
Wulf lands on his feet! The crowd are hysterical at the already fast paced exchanges taking place. Wulf hits the ground running from the belly-to-belly attempt and manages to hit a tight springboard.. Erikson attempts an ASAI MOONSAULT but the Corporal jumps back!!

Meanwhile, Adeline takes charge with a headlock on Ruby, followed by an irish whip. Ruby manages to put on the brakes to stop herself crashing into the cage wall from the irish whip, letting out an audible ‘WOAH!’
Nobody home! Addy sees the Corporal is caught in the moment and she seizes hers.. She hits a huge one-handed bulldog on Punishment, and he seems to be out!

Wulf had the bearings to land on his feet from the moonsault, although he finds he isn’t standing face to face with Corporal.. but with a tiny Canadian masked Superhero!

SLAP! He nails Ruby with a step-up enzuiguiri. It staggers her, but doesn’t drop her, as she displays great fortitude. Wulf runs back and on the rebound goes for a leg lariat…

But the fans erupt as Ruby ducks down, sending Wulf sailing and twisting in mid-air from his own momentum. He crashes into the steel cage wall as a result!

Meanwhile, Addy was about to cover Punishment after the bulldog, but she caught the backdrop out of the corner of her eye and jumps straight to her feet! Seeing Ruby, she charges at her and levels UWE’s resident sweetheart with a Thesz press, before unleashing a flurry of fists to her masked face. With both men down and the woman on the mat punching the living hell out of each other, this match is only just getting started!

Wulf slowly manages to drag himself up via the ropes, and he has spotted The Corporal on all fours..and then he grimaces as he sees the BRUTAL cat fight taking place in the middle. But he keeps his focus on the soldier, and takes him down with a running la magistral cradle.

ONE!

TWO!

Kick out!!

The crowd volume kicks up considerably as Corporal kicks out of the pin, and at the same time Ruby manages to find an edge to get on top and rain down punches on Adeline! Wulf gets to his feet in the background as the ringside camera zooms in on the catfight! It’s an almost uncharacteristically aggressive display on the part of both Ruby and Addy.

Wulf takes an arm of the enlisted man, and starts to drag Punishment to his feet, but he only receives a flurry of forearms to the abdomen for his trouble, forcing him to double over. And a huge short-arm clothesline turns Wulf inside out. The crowd lets out a collective ‘WOAH!!’ as Wulf eats all of it and is sent twirling, landing just short of the cage wall.

Meanwhile, in the middle of the ring, Adeline grabs Ruby’s arms, stopping the flurry of blows. But Ruby immediately breaks free of Adeline’s grasp and immediately hits the ropes! The crowd POP as Corporal has the ring awareness to realize he was in the way and quickly dove down so Ruby could jump over him. She nails Adeline with a torpedo dropkick, and follows it up with another one for Wulf who only just got back to his feet!

Adeline gets back to her heet and is targeted by Ruby who tries to go for an armdrag. But Adeline blocks, and reverses it. The crowd EXPLODE as Wulf runs in with his patented flipping legdrop, but the elation fades as Ruby moves and he eats a big pile of naked ring..he clutches his backside with an expression of extreme pain, just in time for Punishment to land a hard-hitting legdrop which actually connects! Punishment goes in for the cover!

Adeline breaks it up, she grabs hold of Corporal’s head and the crowd are amazed as Adeline manages to let out a shriek and drag Punishment to his feet! She kicks him in the stomach. Punishment doubles over and Erikson runs in for a shining wizard! But he is stopped idway through by Ruby, who hits a Ruby Cutter out of nowhere! Wulf is dropped straight on his head and flops like a fish. It seems like he’s out completely as Ruby goes for the cover with the titles on the line! The crowd counts along with the referee as she slaps the canvas.

THR..!!

They POP as Adeline hits a running senton and breaks up the count, and then grabs a handful of Ruby’s hair, dragging her away from her now prone partner. Adeline lays into Ruby with a forearm strike and Punishment seizes his moment. He hooks Wulf’s arm and grabs a handful of dreads, dragging the jello-legged Silver Bullet to his feet. There is a CRASH and a mixed reaction as Punishment sends Wulf flying into the cage wall, and there is a rumble of laughter as Adeline sends Ruby crashing into Punishment with a hiptoss for his trouble, knocking both of them down. With both Ruby and the soldier lying in a heap, Adeline quickly climbs the nearest turnbuckle. Rather than trying to attempt an escape, she looks down at two potential targets and grins, before licking her lips. She leaps and twists in the air, landing right on top of both Ruby and Punishment, perfectly executing the corkscrew moonsault! With Wulf looking on, Adeline rolls Ruby off of Punishment and pins the soldier.

Punishment kicks out! Adeline immediately switches targets and pins Ruby instead.

Ruby kicks out! Wulf decides he has looked on long enough and comes in to help his partner. They both helps Ruby to her feet, and Irish Whip her in tandem to the nearest corner. But Ruby runs up the ropes, leaps, flips, twists and turns and nails all of EOB with a double Whisper in the Wind! The crowd screams as Ruby hits a double legdrop on both her opponents at once. She then goes for a cover of her own, electing to pin Wulf.

ONE!

TWO!

Wulf kicks out! And just like Adeline, Ruby switches targets, electing to go now pin Wulf’s crimson counterpart.

ONE!

TWO!

Adeline kicks out as well! The crowd cheer as Ruby rolls through, kips up and screams, ignited the fans even more. She helps Punishment to his feet, and the pair grab Wulf by the dreads. Punishment hoists him over his shoulder, starts spinning around, and Ruby dropkicks Wulf against the head, making it whiplash in the opposite direction! The crowd groans, feeling Wulf’s pain.
Meanwhile, Adeline has made it to her feet. Punishment knees her in the gut, and follows it up with an uppercut. He grabs her crimson locks and guides her to the nearest turnbuckle, before starting to slam her face-first into the top turnbuckle. 21-gun salute, baby! After a dozen slams, he releases her, and Adeline staggers back. He grabs her by the waist and shoulder and lifts her up into a military press! He then drop her face-first on the top turnbuckle. Snake eyes! As Adeline staggers back, Punishment lifts up Addy in an electric chair and throws her over the top rope, pinning her between the ropes and the steel cage wall.

As soon as he does, Wulf makes it back to his feet, still holding his neck in pain. With Ruby having looked on so far, she now runs up to Wulf, and dropkicks him against the ropes, before dropkicking his knees on the rebound, levelling him once again. She points at Punishment, and he smiles. He grabs Wulf by the ankles, and starts spinning around, swinging Erikson round and round as the crowd counts along with every rotation.

ONE8 TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE! SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH…. TEN!

As he makes the tenth rotation, Punishment releases, sending Wulf flying, straight into Adeline who was still pinned between ropes and wall. The collision is hard, and the crowd starts a veritable HOLY SHIT chant. Ruby and Punishment high five each other, and call for the end. Punishment grabs Wulf, and helps him back to his feet before hitting him with a Boot Camp! He flops down, and Ruby ascends the top turnbuckle. She jumps… RSD straight to Wulf’s face! This is it, it’s over. She goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

THR-NO! Adeline breaks it up! The entire arena screams in surprise as Adeline flings herself onto Ruby, saving the match-up. Ruby gets back to her feet, but Adeline kicks her in the gut. Punishment tries to come to the rescue, but Addy hits him with a Mule Kick! She then hits Ruby with a DDT! With Ruby down and Punishment doubled over, Adeline runs the ropes, comes up on Punishment from behind, hitting him with an ‘I’ll Stab Him!’. Now the roles are reversed. Adeline helps Wulf back to his feet, and she excitedly starts jumping up and down! Wulf grins, and he pats her on the shoulder, the points to the top of the cage! Adeline laughs and runs to the nearest turnbuckle, followed suit by her tag partner. Adeline climbs to the top of the cage so quickly it almost looks like she has wings. However, on top, she is met by the nasty barbed wire, which immediately cuts her forearm and thigh as she positions herself atop the cage. The same thing happens to Wulf, but neither seem to care. The crowd is blowing the roof off the place, and even more so when Ruby and Punishment simultaneously kip up! The masked tiny Canadian and the soldier make a beeline for the top of the cage as well! They do it so quickly Adeline and Wulf have no time to respond, and before they know it, all four are balancing on top of the cage!

Ruby is sitting next to Adeline, and Punishment next to Wulf, with all four trying to knock their opposition off and into the ring. Ruby and Punishment seem to be getting the upper hand, slinging fists at EOB, but then Adeline and Wulf simultaneously block the next strike… and frantically start headbutting Ruby and the Corp! They teeter… and fall off the cage, back into the ring! The high-pitched screams of the crowd are damn near enough to burst one’s eardrums, but Adeline and Wulf stand up on the edge of the cage, ignoring the barbed wire that is trying to cut through their boots and into their flesh. They are slightly wobbly, but without hesitation as they both leap in sync… a double 630 Corkscrew Senton… BITE THE BULLET TIMES TWICE! Addy perfectly lands on Ruby with Wulf doing the same on Punishment. #EOB hook the legs immediately, and Morello drops down to count the double pin…

They did it! Morello calls for the bell!

Winners, by pinfall at 21:13 and INAUGURAL UWE Universal Tag Team Champions
–#EMPHASISONBULLET–

Their theme song starts playing, and both Wulf and Adeline gasp in amazement. With their jaws dropping, the cage starts to rise! Their first taste of UWE gold is here! Morello places the belts in the hands of the Bullets, and as they clasp it to their chests, they embrace each other in the middle of the ring. What a final, and what a win to end this UWE Universal Tag Team Championship. Adeline La Roux and Wülf Erikson are the inaugural champions. A great moment for these fearless, hard workers.

As Ruby and Punishment get back to their feet, they seem disappointed, but it doesn’t take long before Ruby grabs Adeline’s hand, Punishment grabs Wulf’s, and raise it into the air. The new champions raise their belts up high with their other arm, and both Ruby and Punishment share a hug with the people who just beat the in the final. A great display of sportsmanship. UWE has Universal tag Team Champions. Long may they reign.

But as the camera cuts to backstage, it shows Jared and Danny Oliver, smiling and nodding at the TV screen. The number one contenders are already on red alert!

Main Event – I Quit Match
Ultimate Wrestling Championship Match
Eavan Maloney © vs. James Calhoun

Posted Image

After the shocking news earlier this week that Eavan Maloney was forced to relinquish the Ultimate Wrestling Championship due to personal reasons, many were wondering what was going to happen to the title, with James Calhoun having invoked his rematch clause for Anything Goes.

It doesn’t take long for the fans to know the answer. James Calhoun comes out to the ring, and grabs the microphone, demanding in front of the entire Calgary crowd that the Ultimate Wrestling Championship is his, and that the General Manager, Lara Pegorino herself, come personally place it on his shoulder or strap it around his waist. With Maloney now out of contention, the title should go back to its rightful owner, who never should have lost it in the first place. The crowd boo’s Calhoun, but the cowboy doesn’t seem to care as he stands tall in the ring.

Seconds later, Lara’s theme hits the arena, and she walks out with the Ultimate Wrestling Championship neatly folded up under one of her arms. It is the way a caretaker holds a title, so as not to make anyone think she would dare to claim ownership.

The General Manager steps into the ring an goes face to face with Calhoun, who looks down his nose at her. Sylvie Rose hands her boss a microphone, and Lara is clearly not amused by Calhoun’s demands. She says that even though Calhoun is indeed the number one contender, Maloney’s forfeit does NOT mean he will be automatically granted the title. The only thing he has, is a claim to fight FOR it, not the claim to be GIVEN it. If he truly wants to be the fighting champion he has always prided himself in being, then he will earn the title back against an opponent equally worthy of the opportunity.

Calhoun responds by saying there is no such person. Only second-rate wrestlers trying to stretch their necks as they look up at the top of the mountain where he stands tall. And that if Lara Pegorino intends to deny him what is rightfully is, he will go after her with everything he’s got. He drops the microphone and inches closer to her, but Lara simply says two words:
‘BRING IT!’

She then drops her mic too, and the two face off nose to nose, until finally Lise Fortier comes out, and tells both of them to stop this right now. Lara respects the CEO’s wishes, and Calhoun makes shooing noises, telling her to run back like a good little lapdog, before shouting that she is unfir to be the General Manager, and that they both will be getting what they deserve soon enough: Lara a Boot Hill that sends her out of the company, and Calhoun his Ultimate Wrestling Championship!

As the crowd boo’s Calhoun, with Lara retreating down the entrance ramp, the show comes to a close.

OVER THE TOP XXVII

Location:
UWE Studio’s, Vancouver
Posted Image

The brackets are full. The stage is set. We have our finalists. #EmphasisOnBullet will go two-on-two with the rather formidable duo of Ruby and Corporal Punishment. Out of those four, only Punishment has tasted UWE gold so far, and all others will be hungry to gain some as well. Many consider Ruby to be one of the best to never hold gold in the company, while Wülf Erikson has been tagged by many as a future Ultimate Wrestling Champion ever since he stepped on the Vancouver stage. And when the Bullets team up, who knows what kind of havoc they can wreak. Can they grab their first title belts? Or will Vancouver’s tiniest superhero and a US soldier stop them?
But while that is an epic main event, we have plenty more for you on the go-home show before Anything Goes! After last week, Brandon and Matt Moore will go toe to toe as Brandon seeks answers. Maddogg Mike Rosati, Hall of Famer, will make his return against the debuting Lupus Onyx, and the guy who debuted last week, Buster Bradley, will have a chance to prove himself against Torment’s Corey Sanders.
And to top it all off… The Utimate Wrestling Champion is in the house, baby! But Eavan Maloney has a very tough customer in Tiami Erickson. While her brother competes for gold, can she upset the woman with the big belt? Can she get one over on the champ? We can’t wait to find out!

Show Opener – Single’s Match
Brandon Moore vs. Matt Moore

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

Pyrotechnics shower the main stage in the arena at the UWE Studios. The camera pans across the sea of UWE faithful while Haunt You by The Pack A.D. blares. Over the Top XXVII is live!

Almost immediately after the introduction ceremonies end, the arena lights go dark. Instead of shifting to the commentary team, the broadcast is getting underway with the first match of the evening.

A few moments after the darkness begins, three ever so familiar words appear on the video screen overseeing the stage.

JUST PLAIN BETTER

This sends the crowd into their second frenzy of the night, with the first being just prior due to the start of the show.

Without the normal intro of the song, the heavy riff of Cemetery Gates by Pantera kicks in, coupled with the lights beginning to flash.

Brandon Moore bursts from behind the curtain. His look is one of determination. Brandon forgoes his usual shtick. There is no slapping hands with the front row attendees, there is no shouting, and there is no sign of anything less than serious.

As Brandon makes his way down the ramp, a split screen takes place, surrounded by UWE graphics. A replay of Brandon’s match on Over the Top XXVI is shown. Matt Moore appears out of nowhere and assaults his brother. Danny Oliver tries to make the save, but is met with a move that Matt does not generally use in the form of an underhook piledriver. Then a top rope Falcon Arrow, known to be used by only one man, is delivered to Brandon.

Just as Brandon reaches the bottom of the entrance ramp, Sylvie Rose makes her introduction of him, as if it is needed. Brandon rolls into the ring and quickly stands. He removes his vest and tosses it over the ropes to the ringside mat. From there, he backs himself into a corner and begins to fasten his gloves. His entrance music fades and the lights return to normal. Brandon sends an ice old stare towards the stage.

The fans begin to chant “Just Plain Better,” but Brandon is unfazed. He is here for two things, answers and a fight. A couple minutes pass and nothing happens. Brandon exits the corner and takes a step towards the center of the ring. His attention does not shift from the entrance area. It’s at that point that the lights shut off yet again.

A pulsing sound is now heard. It is that of a heartbeat. It is getting faster and faster. This lasts for some time before everything stops and the lights come back on.

Everyone expected an appearance. That includes Brandon. He spins around, looking for a sign of an attack, but there is nothing. The fans show their disdain for these tactics with heavy boos towards whoever is toying with Mr. UWE.

Then a figure appears on the video screen. With nothing but blackness surrounding a face, it is revealed to be Matt Moore. His eyes are void, however, showing the same blackness that surrounds his image. He is set with a twisted smirk across his face.

Brandon snaps. He speeds over towards the corner that Sylvie Rose stands in. Brandon snatches the microphone from her and turns to shout at the video screen.

The lights flicker and a stint of feedback is heard throughout the arena.

Brandon shouts, but the microphone is unable to pick up his words. He slaps it, but no sound comes through. It appears that even the commentary team’s headsets are on the fritz. Brandon tosses the microphone back towards Sylvie’s feet as she and referee JJ Hemphill have no choice but to watch events unfold.

Matt begins to speak.

“Brandon, Brandon, Brandon…it is good to see you again, old friend. I’m sure you had everything figured out from the get go, but to fill everyone else in, this isn’t your precious brother, Matt.”

“You may call me, simply…”

“Sorrow.”

“You’ve longed for me to be out of your head. Is this not good enough? You see, you thought you had gotten rid of me, but I was simply lying in wait.”

“It was after Just Plain Better versus the Nashville Starlets. I regained control and used every ounce of my power to open your brother’s mind. This is where I have called home ever since Midsummer Massacre.”

“I knew I would never win the struggle with you, so I crafted myself a new vessel in the form of one Matthew Moore.”

“He hasn’t had all of those years to study me like you have. He isn’t strong enough to shut me out like you eventually became. And now that I am undeterred, nothing can stop me.”

“You and I will not do battle this evening, I’m afraid. You can have your forfeit victory for all that it’s worth.”

“But I will humor you. At Anything Goes, we will wage war in a street fight. If only to finally put an end to Brandon Moore once and for all.”

“Hug your children. Kiss your wife. Spend time with those close to you and cherish it, Brandon.”

“Because Sorrow is free and Sorrow is coming.”

Sorrow’s face fades into the surrounding darkness on the video screen. Sylvie Rose picks up her microphone from the mat and begins to speak into it.

The lights flicker yet again and the feedback sound is heard once more. Sylvie’s words are picked up in the middle of her announcement.

Winner, by forfeit
–BRANDON MOORE–

With that, JJ Hemphill approaches Brandon and raises his arm in victory. This is the first time Brandon has moved his focus since entering the ring. He yanks his arm free from referee Hemphill and abruptly exits the ring as Cemetery Gates plays him out. Brandon’s stare returns and he is as stone faced as ever, walking up the ramp to the backstage area.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Maddogg Mike Rosati vs. Lupus Onyx

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

A sixteen year old veteran making his UWE debut… against a bona fide Hall of Famer! It’s Lupus Onyx vs. Maddogg Mike Rosati! As Corey Miner calls for the bell, the two immediately lock up in the middle of the ring. Onyx seems to have the upper hand, driving Maddogg back, but Rosati slips out of the lock-u and reverses it into a hammerlock. He wrings away at the arm, keeps it firmly in position and then hits Onyx with a back suplex, making him land on his arm and nearly dislocating a shoulder.

Onyx gets up quickly, but he grabs his upper arm in pain as Rosati grins. ‘Welcome to UWE’, he mouths, and makes a ‘get over here’ gesture. Onyx wants to lash out at him with a running clothesline, but Rosati ducks, and takes Onyx down from behind with a snapmare. He then viciously kicks Onyx in the back, and does the same to his chest. Lupus is kicked down to his back. Rosati then rolls him over!

Cattle Mutilation! No!! Onyx sensed it was coming and managed to scramble his legs towards the rope, hooking a foot behind the bottom rope, forcing a clean break. Miner intervenes and forces Rosati off before he can lock it in properly. Rosati backs down, and Onyx gets back to his feet. Maddogg wants to get right back to business when he does! He comes storming in with a dropkick, sending Onyx into the corner. He then wants to follow it up with a European Uppercut…

Blocked! Onyx gets his forearms up, and grabs Maddogg by the throat, switching places with him as he throws Maddogg in the corner himself. Onyx starts unleashing blow after blow, and the crowd seems to boo him! While Maddogg hasn’t been a fan favorite lately, at least he is a UWE icon, and they are rooting for him out of nostalgia if nothing else. But Onyx beats down Maddogg, and then Irish Whips him, sending him against the ropes, hitting him with a powerslam on the rebound! And goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Rosati kicks out! Onyx immediately grabs Rosati’s hair. But the Hall of Famer feels it coming… and traps Onyx in an armbar, focusing on the arm he had damaged earlier! Rosati starts cranking away as Onyx screams out in pain. Onyx digs his heels into the canvas, and starts trying to push himself towards the nearest rope. He eventually once again gets there, but a lot of damage seems to be done, as Rosati takes full advantage of the ref’s four-count. Onyx rolls out of the ring once Rosati is forced to release, and starts slapping his arm trying to restore some bloodflow. But Rosati has no intention of waiting around! The Hall of Famer gets to the top rope, and leaps at Onyx!

But the UWE newcomer grabs him, and locks him in a bearhug, displaying great strength, balance and awareness. He lifts Rosati up, trying to squeeze the oxygen out of him in hopes he’ll fade. But it’s obvious he can’t apply full pressure, since his arm is hurting. SO before Rosati passes out, he runs into the ringpost, sandwiching Rosati between himself and the unforgiving steel. Onyx rolls Rosati back in the ring and follows suit. He lifts Rosati to his feet and sends him into the corner, efore following it up with a corner splash. Rosati staggers forward slowly, and is taken down by one of Onyx’s flying shoulder tackles!

With Anica Townsend watching, Onyx calls for it! The Inverted Cross! But as he goes down to lock it in, Rosati sneaks him into a pin with an inside cradle!

ONE!

TWO!

Onyx kicks out! Both men scramble to their feet, but it’s Rosati who manages to kick Lupus in the gut. The man doubles over, and Rosati nails him with a Northern Lights suplex. Rosati helps Onyx up, and calls for an Urinagi! He grabs Lupus, but… it’s blocked! Onyx slips out, and lands behind Rosati. He steps in, and Rosati is forced to bend backwards. Onyx grins…

Ministry’s Call!!!

Lupus goes for the pin..

Lupus is victorious on his debut! The crowd applauds both competitors for a hard fought contest.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Corey Sanders

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

As the bell rings to announce the beginning of the Sanders and Bradley match up both men circle slowly and size one another up. Buster attempts to close in and lock up but Corey uses his superior reach to keep the Minnesota Mauler at bay. After a few failed attempts to get inside Buster finally manages to slip one of Corey’s strikes and get near him. Undeterred Sanders scrambles and reaches out to grab Buster around the back of the neck to tie him up into a tight Muay Thai clinch before launching a series of hard knees into Bradley’s stomach. The strikes have Buster trying to pull back and retreat but like a fisherman trying to reel in a catch Corey lets Buster struggle, giving him enough slack to try and run before sucking him back in with another knee.

In a panic Buster does the only thing he can think to do, he reaches out and grabs Sanders into a tight bear hug. Corey groans and struggles to try and get free of the powerful, crushing grip of Buster. The Green Dragon finally slams his hands together to box Bradley’s ears. Buster grimaced and squeezes more. Corey repeats the attack and on the third try Buster releases. Sanders can’t take time to recover and goes right back on the offense.

Corey grabs onto Buster’s head and falls back to hit a double knee jawbreaker. Buster falls back to the mat as Corey gets back to his feet. Sanders lifts Buster back up and begins to hit a flurry of punches and kicks, ending with a shuffle side kick that sends Bradley staggering back. Corey follows up a clothesline that further staggers the dazed Buster. Corey hits the ropes for another clothesline but this time Buster is more ready and counters with a shoulder block that drops Sanders to the canvas.

As Corey start a to get up Buster hits the ropes himself and comes back with a clothesline of his own that takes Corey back to the mat. Buster picks Sanders up before lifting him for a scoop slam. Buster picks him back up and tries to lift him for another slam but Sanders shoots in and fires off another knee. Buster bends forward and Corey follows up with several open palm strikes. He finishes off by running to the ropes and jumping off to hit a springboard knee to the face. Buster goes down and Corey pins.

Buster then sends him of the ropes before catching Sanders and lifting him into a military press slam.

Match Four – Single’s Match
David Stone vs. Danny Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

David Stone and Danny Oliver stand in the ring across from one another as they wait for the bell to ring. Danny looks excited to be in the ring with the legendary Stone but David has a deep grimace on his face. As the ref calls for the match to begin and both men come to the center of the ring. The two wrestlers lock up and jockey for position, trying to get a better hold to launch their offense. Stone quickly snaps into a tight headlock and squeezes down on Danny’s head. Oliver falls to one knee as David wrenches harshly and holds on tightly. Danny twists and ducks into Stone and tosses him with a fireman’s carry. As Stone begins to get up Danny pulls his opponent into a headlock of his own.

Stone fights on one knee and continues to struggle as his head is cranked roughly. David elbows back into his opponent to get some space and works his way to his feet, once he does, however, Danny whips him over with a headlock takedown and continues the cranking on the ground. Stone rolls to the side slightly and uses the free space to roll Danny back and free himself. Danny rolls through and gets to his feet as Stone gets back to his. Stone lets him get to his feet before hitting a chopping block to drop him once more. David lifts Danny back up and begins pelting him with hard punches, ending the assault with a hard kick to the gut leading up to the even flow DDT. Stone covers the downed Oliver.

Once Stone’s leg gets tired of stomping he picks Danny back up and attempts a bulldog.

Stone blocks the suplex by Danny and then lifts him up with a counter-counter suplex. David holds Danny up in the air for a moment, showing off his impressive strength by keeping the hefty Oliver in the air for several seconds before letting him crash down onto the ground.

Danny falls forward but he is brought back to his feet where David prepares to land the Stone Cutter. David kicks his left foot out but Danny takes a page from Captain Kirk and shoulder rolls to safety. Stone regains his lost balance and turns to see Danny flying through The air to land the flying forearm he’d missed before. Stone gets to his feet as Danny hits the ropes and comes back for another flying forearm, he hits a third! David gets up again looking more dazed this time and soon finds himself tosses into the ropes. On the return trip Stone is grabbed by Danny and dropped into a bone jarring spine buster!

Danny rolls his opponent over and locks in the surfboard stretch before reaching down to apply the dragon sleeper, it’s the Legacy of Detroit! Stone tries to resist but is soon forced to tap.

Winner, by submission at 12:25
–DANNY OLIVER–

Danny lets go immediately as the ref calls for the bell. The younger Oliver raises his hands in victory but turns just in time to eat a clothesline from Maddogg who had ran in from the audience!

David gets to his feet slowly before going to join his partner stomping the prone Danny in the corner. The team of New Found Glory receives a loud chorus of boos but they ignore it as they continue to kick and stomp the downed Oliver. The boos change suddenly to cheers as Danny’s brother, Jared, rushes down the ramp.

The elder Oliver slides in and runs to super kick Maddogg over the ropes. David Stone turns to attack Jared but he ducks under the punch and launches another super kick that sends Stone out of the ring as well. Danny gets to his wobbly feet but soon stands beside his brother both daring the other team to come back in. Maddogg and Stone, both already tired from their own matches, decide to retreat as the Dogs of War stand reunited in the ring.

While this spot on the card was reserved for the contest between Tiami Erickson and Ultimate Wrestling Champion Eavan Maloney, it was announced earlier tonight that due to the hurricane plaguing the US, both competitors had found their travel schedules in such upheaval that getting to Vancouver was impossible.

The crowd, though disappointed, is still looking forward to their main event though, in which they will see their inaugural Universal Tag Team Champions crowned. The first ‘EOB’, ‘RUBY’, and ‘CORP! CORP! CORP!’ chants start to fill the arena. But rather than being hit with the theme songs of either team, they hear Amaranthe’s Nexus fill the arena!
The crowd rise to their feet and there are massive cheers as Lara Pegorino appears atop the entrance ramp! Instead of any of the aforementioned chants, there is now a ‘WELCOME BACK’ aimed directly at the General Manager… or is she? As she walks down to the ring, clad in a black-and-white skirted business suit and almost impossibly high heels, people make the bow-down gesture as she walks past. She winks at them, and as she gets in the ring, is handed a microphone by Sylvie Rose, who sneaks in a quick hug before Lara takes center stage in the middle of the ring.

Once the chants have died down, Lara says she has done some soul searching in recent weeks. After what happened during the Hell in a Cell match between Lucilla and Amy, she doubted herself and her professional integrity. And to a woman who has always prided herself on being a consummate pro, there is no greater shame than that. So after the show, she went to Lise Fortier to hand in her resignation. But the CEO refused.

Upon hearing that, the crowd popped. Lara smiled, and then continued, saying that Lise suspended her without pay indefinitely to give her a chance to think it over, and figure out exactly what it was she wanted. And that if by Anything Goes she still wanted to quit, then she’d let her go.
The crowd falls silent, anxiously awaiting her next words.

Lara says she wondered about what she wanted most in life. And while running her own business was very fulfilling, there was simply quite nothing like the pure adrenaline rush of UWE. Which is why, effective immediately, she is resuming her post as General Manager of Over the Top!
The crowd cheers, and Lara smiles once again. She then proceeds to make a few announcements. First of all, the Ultimate Wrestling Champion may not be here tonight, but she WILL be at Anything Goes, where she WILL defend her title, against none other than the man she took it from: James Calhoun. The cowboy is officially invoking his rematch clause. After weeks of silence, the Callous One will finally reemerge, ready to take back what was his.

On top of that, the Canadian Championship will also be defended, against a man who has a lot of hype surrounding him… as well as quite a few stable members. The Armenian Beast will return to action to defend the maple leaf belt against Jake Donaldson, leader of Torment! As for who the challengers to the tag team titles will be… that will remain a surprise!

Lara stops her speech and is met with rapturous applause as she waves and exits the ring. The boss is back, baby!

Main Event – Tag Team Tournament Final
Corporal Punishment & Ruby vs. #EmphasisOnBullet
Posted Image

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Ruby and Corporal Punishment are the first to come out, to standing ovations all over. They make their way to the ring, high-fiving as many fans as possible along the way, and as Ruby flips over the top rope, the crowd goes insane. Punishment ascends the turnbuckles, saluting the crowd.

When their music dies down, Ruby and Punishment await their opponents.

Except they never arrive.

Ruby and Punishment both look puzzled, until the titantron finally springs to life, showing shaky cam footage. It shows an unconscious Adeline La Roux, laying against the wall, a crimson mask adorning her face. Heavy grunts are heard off-camera until a loud clang of steel on flesh can be heard. The camera sweeps to the side and sees a large silhouette standing voer the unmistakable body of the Silver Bullet, Wülf Erikson. Once the figure slowly turns around, his face was revealed.

Asylum. The Masked Madman obviously blindsided both Bullets with a steel chair. He starts cackling like only he can, his laughter chilling the blood in your veins. He throws the chair to his side. What was this? A sick favor to Ruby? What is going on?

As the camera cuts back to ringside, the tiny Canadian looks perplexed. She looks at Chuck Aitken, who tells her he has no other choice than to declare them winner by forfeit, but Ruby shakes her head. Not like this.

She rolls out of the ring, and rushes backstage, with Punishment in pursuit, hoping they can stop Asylum from wreaking more havoc. A camera follow them until they arrive at the aforementioned carnage. Ruby tends to Adeline and shouts for some medical help, pronto! Corporal Punishment checks up on Wülf Erikson. There is not a sign of Asylum, but once the Corporal helps the shaken Silver Bullet to his feet, Asylum rushes in out of nowhere, carrying a kendo stick! He swings wildly at Erikson, but Punishment shoves him out of the way so that Asylum hits nothing but wall. He is ready to go after the Corporal thought, but is suddenly tackled down by a team of at least six security members who take down the lunatic. They are followed suit by Lara Pegorino, who orders them to restrain him and escort him out of the building.

She then turns to Adeline, Wulf, Ruby and Punishment. She says that because of this incident, the match can’t take place tonight, but that their final will instead be moved to Anything Goes… where the teams will meet up in a tornado tag team steel cage match, to keep it free of interference!

Meanwhile, medical staff rush in and take a look at Adeline and Wulf as the show comes to a close.

Show Opener
The Empire vs. The Hapless Ones

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

The first match of the evening was about to begin and the Hendrix twins headed out to loud booing. The brothers looked confused at the reception but quickly blow off the jeers and start down towards the ring.

About halfway down the ramp the Hendrix entrance music stops and The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash begins to play. The tag team stops and begins looking around in confusion about the switch. They look at one another then shrug.

The giant screen above the entrance ramp jumps to life. Across it is the video of a white stallion being ridden by someone dressed in what looks like a grim reaper costume. The twins talk amongst themselves trying to figure out what’s going on as the horse rides closer to the camera.

The rider stops close to the camera filming and points a black gloves finger straight ahead. There is then a low, deep voice that speaks on the video.

Chris and Joey Hendrix, the man has come for you.

The brothers look to one another once more and try to figure out the cryptic message. Before they can talk too much, however, a figure bursts from the audience. It is dressed in a similar way to the rider in the video was and is wielding a 2×4. The figure slams the board across Chris’ back. Joey turns but his surprise prevents him from reacting in time and he catches the 2×4 to the face. Chris is using the barricade to stand but the figure grips the board against his forearm and rushes in to ram it into the Hendrix brother’s head.

The reaper lifts both brothers up before putting them into a DDT, slamming both their skulls against the steel ramp. The figure then takes a few moments to lay stomps into rack prone Hendrix before standing and pointing at the screen. Across it are written the names…

Marcus Levine
Tiami Erickson
Timothy Hunt
Joey Hendrix
Chris Hendri

The Hendrix brother’s names are crossed out in splattered red to look like blood. Another deep voice booms.

The Man Comes Around…

Match Two – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Justin Lust

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)
It’s the inexperienced Justin Lust hoping to grab his first win in UWE facing off against Tiami Erickson, the Crimson Devil, who has him well beat in years of experience. But as the bell rings, it becomes soon apparent that the people are met with a rejuvenated Justin, as he immediately takes the fight to his former mentor’s sister.

As Tiami tries to lock up, Lust counters it into an armdrag, and another one as Tiami gets back up to her feet. Lust kicks her in the gut and tries to go for a DDT, but Tiami blocks it by hooking her foot behind his leg and kicking him in the gut, before reversing it into a front facelock suplex. Lust lands on his back, and tries to get up as soon as possible, but Tiami is quick enough to hit him with a rolling elbow before he can block the strike. Tiami starts kicking him repeatedly in the gut, driving him backwards into a corner. She dropkicks him, aking him bounce off the turnbuckles. He rebounds, and is hit with the Ice Spike! Tiami’s running bulldog flattens the rookie, and she retreats, clearly stalking him as she wants to hit the Dead As Ice. She calls for it, and the crowd goes berserk, but as Lust staggers to his feet, the lights go out!

Confused, the people wonder what is happening, and as they go back on, they see the menacing shape of Marcus LeVine atop the entrance ramp. Tiami, seething at this interruption and seeing her nemesis in the same building, turns around and leans over the ropes, daring LeVIne to step into the ring with her. But all the psychopath does is laugh at her. Disgusted, Tiami turns around.

And runs right into a Glory Hole! Lust picked the exact right time and hit his devastating finisher on the unsuspecting Tiami, wasting no time going for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Lust gets his feet on the middle rope for extra leverage and good emasure!
THREE!

It’s over, and Corey Miner calls for the bell!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:28
–JUSTIN LUST–

Lust gets back to his feet. If there was anyone thinking this victory would have humbled him, think again. The cocky Canuck clearly acts like he knew he was going to win all along, and as the crowd boos him as he walks past them, he flips his hair in their direction, and ignoring LeVine as he walks past them.
The psychopath can be seen mouthing the word ‘SOON’ as he looks at Tiami, who uses the ropes to get back to her feet. The look on her face says more than a thousand words. This is far from over.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Starlight

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

The double debut of Starlight and Buster Bradley had the fans excited to see what these new faces are going to be able to do in the ring. The match begins with Buster attempting to lock up with his opponent but Starlight decides she has better chances staying mobile. She sucks under Buster’s arms and plants a hard kick to the abdomen. The muscular Buster tries again but with similar results.

Starlight hits Buster in the back of the leg with a dropkick, stumbling him forward. Bradley turns and tries to counter attack but the swift starlight sucks his punch and delivers another stiff kick before launching into a furious flurry of chops and kicks. Starlight is turning Buster’s chest into tenderized hamburger meat with each stinging chop! Buster tries to throw his own attacks but every time he swings Starlight ducks and dodges around him with ease. The bigger man staggers from the quick attacks seemingly unable to get his own offense going. Starlight ends the assault with a jumping soon kick to the chest that leaves Buster reeling. The fans cheer as Starlight hits the ropes to get some momentum going before leaping into the air to attempt a crossbody splash.

Instead of her opponent hitting the mat as she expected the big man catches her in mid-flight! Starlight looks shocked and shakes her head in disbelief. The woman struggles, kicking her feet and flailing in an attempt to free herself but Buster’s grip is too strong. He lifts Starlight up before slamming her side down into his knee. He stands upright before driving her down onto his knee once more. Bradley gets up with his opponent once more and lifts her high before slamming her down onto the mat with the Body Buster! He rolls her up.

ONE!
TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:02
–BUSTER BRADLEY–

Buster holds his arm up in victory as Starlight rolls out of the ring holding her ribs as she stumbles back up the ramp.

Match Four – Single’s Match
Brandon Moore vs. Danny Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

With both of their teams out of the tag tournament, Brandon Moore and Danny Oliver find themselves in singles competition. A friendly bout is their calling for this week.

Corey Miner calls for the bell to start this match up!

Brandon and Danny begin to circle each other, sizing up an opportunity to strike. Neither sees anything worthwhile and decide to meet for a collar and elbow tie up.

They lock up and struggle to get an advantageous position. Brandon is able to get snap Danny’s head into his arms, applying a side headlock. He wrenches it in, but is surprised to found that Danny is able to drag them both backwards.

They hit the ropes and Brandon loses his grip as Danny pushes him forward. Brandon darts across the ring and rebounds. He comes back and is met by the big Danny Oliver. A shoulder check sends Brandon to the mat.

Danny is quick to drop an elbow.

Brandon rolls out of the way! He gets up and is just as quick to drop his own elbow!

But Danny moves! Danny goes to drop an elbow again, but Brandon rolls away! Danny tricked him, though!

Danny stayed on his feet instead of dropping another elbow, watching as Brandon escapes nothing. Oliver then quickly leaps and lands his back on top of Moore once he stops evading. Big boy senton!

The pace screeches to a halt now after Danny crashes onto Brandon. Oliver gets off of Moore and goes to lift him to his feet. He pulls Brandon to a nearby corner and stands him up. Danny bends down and loads up.

Big shoulder into the gut!

He follows that up with another. And another. And another!

Danny eventually backs off, listening to Corey Miner’s pleas.

Brandon stands, wobbly, in the corner. Danny comes charging back with a huge body avalanche. He crushes Brandon between himself and the turnbuckle. Moore drops to a knee, then to his stomach. Oliver moves Brandon away from the ropes, drops down, and hooks the leg! Corey Miner flies in.

One…

Two…

Shoulder off the mat!

Danny accepts that the match isn’t over yet and gets Brandon to his feet. He sends him towards the ropes with an Irish Whip. As Brandon comes back, Danny throws a lariat. Brandon ducks and keeps running!

As Brandon reaches the other set up ropes, he leaps onto the second one. Brandon springboards off and turns towards Danny Oliver…European Uppercut!

Both men hit the canvas, but Brandon isn’t staying down. Kip up! He roars at the crowd, getting himself pumped!

Brandon waits in the corner, watching Danny as he stammers to his feet.

Brandon charges!

Danny catches him and drops him with a MASSIVE spinebuster! Oh man!

Oliver stays on for the pin fall!

One…

Two…

Brandon kicks out of it!

Danny does appear a bit frustrated at this point and stays on the offensive. He sits Brandon up and drops down with a modified sleeper hold. Hoping to wear Mr. UWE down, Danny Oliver keeps on wrenching the sleeper hold. It isn’t long before the affects start to show.

Brandon’s face is turning purple and his eyes are slowly closing. He slumps over and this causes Corey Miner to come in and see if he needs to call this one off. Miner lifts Brandon’s arm.

It hits the mat.

Miner lifts Brandon’s arm a second time.

It hits the mat.

Mr. UWE’s arm is lifted up for a third time.

It hits the…

NO!

The crowd erupts as Brandon’s arm stops just short of the ring mat and the color in his face begins to return to normal. Oliver looks surprised, trying to keep the maneuver locked in.

Brandon shifts his body and is able to push himself to his feet as the sleeper hold transitions to a side headlock.

Brandon is up and unloading elbows into Danny’s gut. After four, Danny is forced to let go of the hold. Brandon grabs an arm before he can escape and whips him into a corner.

Following after him, Brandon speeds! He climbs up Danny’s body with a big knee to the jaw! Corner Shining Wizard! Brandon plays to the crowd as he wraps his arm around Oliver’s head. He pulls him out of the corner, looking for a bulldog!

Instead, Danny tosses Brandon forward, keeping himself standing. Brandon quickly slides to his feet and turns back to charge at Danny. Danny tries to throw a lariat similar to earlier, but Brandon ducks under it and continues towards the corner he just pulled Danny from.

Brandon makes it to the corner and leaps onto the second rope! He leaps up to the rope!

He leaps off with a moonsault!

Brandon connects with Just Plain Better, taking Danny down to the mat! He reaches across his body and pulls on a leg, hooking it for a pin fall!

Corey Miner slides in!

One…

Two…

What?

The lights have gone out.

A few moments pass of darkness with the only sound being the murmurs of the crowd’s curiosities.

As the come back on, Corey Miner quickly rolls out of the ring. Danny Oliver has crawled to a corner and is seated there, watching. Brandon Moore stands in the center of the ring. And across from him…

His brother, Matt Moore, stands with a strange look upon his face, dressed in all black. His eyes are not normal. Brandon stares at his brother with the utmost confused expression. Matt’s eyes are blackened. His smirk is sinister.

Oh no.

Brandon knows exactly what’s happening now. He throws a big right hand at Matt, but Matt catches it and pulls him in. Matt grabs onto Brandon’s other arm and traps him. A big series of headbutts follow! This sends Brandon for a loop, especially after already giving it a go with Danny Oliver.

Matt finishes the headbutt sequence and throws Brandon onto his shoulders. He takes him over to a corner and places him onto the top rope. Before he can climb, however, Danny Oliver comes to life!

Danny clubs Matt on the back a handful of times before dragging him to the center of the ring. With Matt facing him now, Danny unleashes a flurry of punches, sending Matt reeling. Danny rebounds off of the ropes to gain momentum for something big!

Instead, he comes back and meets a painful knee to the gut that sends him flipping forward onto his back. Matt is quick to get Danny back to his feet in a double underhook position. He lifts Danny and drops him like a piledriver.

My god! That was the Demon Driver!

Danny is out of the picture now, Matt turns his focus to Brandon who is still out on the ropes. Matt throws some solid shots at Brandon for good measure before ascending the ropes with him. Hooking the arm and head, it appears as if he is going for a superplex.

Instead, Matt turns and drops Brandon to the mat with a Falcon Arrow from the top rope!

That was Darkness Falls!

Having left the two competitors in a heap, Matt stands over their bodies in the center of the ring. He drops to his knees and throws his hands out to the sides, facing the sky. That is when the lights go off yet again. When they turn back on, Matt is nowhere to be seen. Only the downed bodies of Danny Oliver and Brandon Moore are left in his wake.

This leaves Corey Miner no choice but to call the match off.

Match Five – Single’s Match
Michael Kelly vs. Ricky Molaroni

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Molaroni has impressed lately, giving his opponents all they can handle and even making it to the semi-finals of the UWE tag team tournament. He faces the returning Michael Kelly though, who is garnering quite the reputation in the wrestling business.

As soon as the bell rings, it’s obvious Michael Kelly is eager to prove his worth to the UWE Universe. After his promo earlier that night, he is determined to establish his dominance. He explodes out of the gate with a heavy knee to Ricky, who doubles over. He follows it up with another kneeshot, this time to Molaroni’s forehead, and eventually brings Molaroni down to his knees after a series of strikes aimed at his quadriceps. He goes for a plain kick to the face, but Molaroni blocks by putting his forearms in front of him. Kelly kicks again and again, trying to bust through the defenses, but Molaroni holds his ground. He rolls out of the way and gets back up to his feet.

Molaroni ducks underneath an elbow strike and nails Kelly with a Mule Kick. The Chosen One doubles over, and Molaroni locks his head in before lifting him up into suplex position. But he can’t get him over, as Kelly shiFts his weight just about enough to reverse the momentum, and hits Molaroni with a ring-shattering DDT! Michael rolls him over for a pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Ricky kicks out. Michael grins, and gets to his feet, stalking his opponent, and biding his time for now. As Molaroni gets to his knees, he pulls another trick out of his sleeve. He runs up… *WHOPP!*

Was that a #Vaughnemous? Yes, we do believe it was. Undoubtedly a little tribute to his blondest stablemate, as the soccer kick to Molaroni’s face nearly decapitates him. Ricky is dazed, and about to collapse to the mat like a sack of potatoes when Kelly decides to finish it. He makes a gun gesture at Ricky, and gives him a Date with Desti-Knee! Molaroni now entirely collapses, and Kelly covers him, hooking the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:46
–MICHAEL KELLY–

Kelly s triumphant in his return to UWE! The Chosen One gets a standing ovation from the crowd for his strong style display, and as he leaves for the backstage area, he makes sure to give them one last token of his appreciation as he raises his arms in victory.

Main Event – Tag Team Tournament Match
David Stone vs. Ruby

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Resident Sweetheart vs. Personification of Perfection. A physical mismatch, but Ruby arguably has the biggest heart of all roster members! Still, as she stands toe to toe with David Stone, the foot and a half of size difference makes it hard to believe Ruby can salvage anything from this match. With Ruby’s partner Corporal Punishment taking a seat at the announcer’s desk next to Blake Wells, the match can get started, but not before the Corp and Stone exchange many a dirty look.

Aitken calls for the bell, and it’s obvious Stone has a simple game plan: overpower and dominate. He grabs Ruby by the throat, and lifts her up like she is a toddler. He flings her halfway across the ring and she lands hard in the corner, back-first. Stone rushes at her. Ruby gets a leg up, and Stone runs into it, but he is only momentarily deterred. He staggers back for a second, but as Ruby tries to explode out of the corner, he shoves her in the chest, pushing her straight back in the corner and follows it up with a European Uppercut that snaps her neck back.
Ruby stays in the corner, and Stone now lifts his boot up, placing it against her throat, choking her out. The crowd boo Stone mercilessly, but he just seems to enjoy putting the hurt on his opponent as he leans into it, making sure her oxygen supply is completely cut off. Luckily for Ruby, Chuck Aitken is there to break up the hold. Stone uses all of the four-count though, much to the ire of the crowd, and Aitken warns Stone that he’ll be disqualified is he pushes it any further!

Stone merely raises an eyebrow, and Irish Whips Ruby to the other side of the ring, following closely behind her and clotheslining her against the turnbuckles as soon as she lands. As Stone steps back, Ruby’s limp body falls forward. He grabs her ankle, casually drags her to the center of the ring and nonchalantly pins her by putting his foot on her chest.

ONE!

TWO!

Ruby swipes his leg away, breaking up the pin. She realizes that she needs to get some offense in and tries to get out of the way, but unfortunately for him, Stone knows it too. He blocks her escape from the ring by grabbing her ankle again, and seems to want to go for the Stone Crusher! But Ruby senses what is coming and desperately uses her free leg and her arms to get to her one foot, and nails Stone with an enzuiguiri! Stone releases her as he staggers back, before Ruby hits him with a dropsault that sends him against the ropes and nails Stone with a dragonscrew legwhip as he bounces back. Stone is down!

Ruby gets a burst of adrenaline, and nails Stone with an impressive standing 450 before following it up with a standing moonsault. She covers Stone…

ONE!

TWO!

Stone powers out, so forcefully he sends Ruby flying. He gets back to his feet, but it’s obvious the dragonscrew hurt his knee. Ruby sees the weak spot and comes flying in with a low dropkick, hitting Stone right in his weak spot. Stone collapses back to one knee, and Ruby senses an opportunity…

RUBY IN THE ROUGH!!
But Stone rolls out of the way, avoiding the devastating kneestrike his opponent has in her arsenal. He rolls through and all the way out of the ring. He tries to take a breather, but Ruby comes flying in! Topé Suicida!

A beautiful maneuver, if it weren’t for Stone, who snatces Ruby out of the air and flings her straight through the ringside barricade! The crowd boos Stone and start a Holy Shit chant almost simultaneously, as they worry their sweetheart’s hurt, but can’t deny the awesomeness of the impact. Stone stands over Ruby’s lifeless body, grinning like a fool, but as he tries to go to town on Ruby, Corporal Punishment gets up from his spot at the announce table and gets in between Stone and his target. Punishment, shakes his head, and says that he’ll not lay a finger on his partner while she’s this defenseless. Stone threatens Punishment, telling him to get out of the way, but the soldier doesn’t budge. Not until Stone hits Punishment with a Stone Cutter!

Punishment falls to the ground, and Stone grabs Ruby’s body before dumping her into the ring. He follows, and he turns around as the crowd roars. Punishment is back on his feet and slides into the ring, wanting some payback for what Stone just did to him! But Chuck Aitken, not afraid to get involved, blocks Punishment from Stone. The Personification of Perfection laughs at Punishment, who is unable to get to him. But while the soldier is obviously irate, Stone is distracted, and Ruby rolls him up from behind!

But the referee doesn’t see it, as he is still trying to get Punishment out of the ring. The soldier notices the pin attempt and exits the ring as quick as he can before Aitken finally notices it too. The senior ref drops down to the mat while Stone is still struggling to break free of the schoolgirl pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! Ruby seems a bit annoyed, because if Aitken has counted sooner, she surely would’ve had him. Nevertheless, she is hurting bad, and Stone is much fresher still, and very pissed off. He grabs Ruby by the hair and lifts her up into gorilla press position, showcasing his superior strength and size. He walks around the ring with Ruby’s body, hoisted over his head like a prize and the Vancouver fans boo him mercilessly. The fans start a *FLIP*FLIP*FLIP*FLIP* chant, but Stone merely shakes his head before unceremoniously dropping Ruby to the mat. She crashes from at least 7 feet up, and lands right on her sternum. Stone drops to his knees and mocks his fallen adversary, but as he takes way too long, Ruby surprises him and rolls him up utilizing an inside cradle!

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! He is furious though, especially with Punishment cheering on the outside, and the fans’ *FLIP* chant intensifying with every passing second. Ruby feels their energy, and uses it to fuel herself. As Stone grabs her hair, she swats his hand away and screams, before unleashing a series of kicks to Stone’s knees that eventually take him down. She flattens him with completely with a Ruby Cutter, which she is still able to hit because of the size difference! She covers Stone again!

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! He is one tough customer, obviously, and Ruby realizes this. One double legdrop later, she goes to the top rope! She waits for Stone to get up, and goes for a leaping hurricanrana!
COUNTERED into a powerbomb! Ruby is savagely bombed into the mat and Stone drops down to pin her instantaneously.

ONE!

TWO!

THR-no! Ruby kicks out, much to the delight of the crowd, who go berserk for her. Stone doesn’t believe it! Punishment on the outside taunts him, talking up his partner’s toughness and Stone flips him off. Unfortunately for him, this only intensifies the *FLIP*chant even more. He ssems annoyed by the crowd’s adoration for Ruby, and he grabs her by the hair, before lifting her up and hitting her with a sidewalk slam. He picks her back up again and lifts her into stall suplex position, making sure to let all the blood rush to her head. He walks around the ring with her, one-handed, and this is not to the liking of Ruby’s tag partner, who hops on the apron. Stone walks up to him, daring him to come at him and get Ruby disqualified, but the distraction in and of itself is enough for Ruby to change momentum. She manages to plant her feet back on the ground and escapes the headlock. She knees Stone in the gut, runs the ropes…
Ruby in the Rough connects! Ruby’s knee shatters Stone’s face. Stone collapses, and the tiny Canadian, under the epic cheers of the crowd, climbs the top turnbuckle.

She screams ‘FLIP OFF? STONE!’ at the top of her lungs and takes the leap. RSD connects! Ruby in the Sky with Diamonds, indeed! She was almost up in the overhead lights, such was her elevation. She lands right on Stone’s face, and goes for the pin as the crowd rise to their feet!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!

Winner, by pinfall at 14:16
–RUBY–

The crowd is absolutely electrified as the referee cals for the bell. Ruby doesn’t have the energy left to get back to her feet though, but her partner is there to pick her up. Punishment helps Ruby to his feet and puts his arm around her as Chuck Aitken raises her hand in victory. They’re ready for the tag team tournament finals this week, and with Ruby garnering this much momentum, they look like a speeding freight train of a team. Can the Bullets stop them? Questions, questions, as the show comes to a close.

Show Opener
Marisol Hawkes & Ricky Molaroni vs. Ruby & Corporal Punishment – Tag Team Tournament Match

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

What a way to start off the show! The semi-final match between Marisol Hawkes, Ricky Molaroni and the combo of Ruby and Corporal Punishment is one way to not just jerk the curtain, but to rip it clean off! Both teams get a great reaction and it is Ricky who starts the match off against Corporal Punishment. The two males on both teams start by circling each other in the ring, and as the bell rings, the Corporal dares Ricky to a test of strength: the traditional Greco-Roman knuckle-lock that will undoubtedly help shift the momentum in favor of either team, depending on who wins it.

Ricky thinks about it for a second, and looks over to Marisol, who approvingly nods. Molaroni grins, and locks in his fingers with Punishment’s, before they follow it up with the other hand too. They both try to get the leverage needed, but both men are strong and determined, and know how to counter what might even provide the slightest shift in momentum. Molaroni eventually manages just about enough torque on the hands to force Punishment’s hands to bend at the wrist, forcing him backwards.

Punishment digs his heels in though, not wanting to let Ricky get the better of him. He bends his knees and using the added leverage coming from a lower base, manages to force Molaroni’s hands back as well, reversing the momentum. Ricky is driven back into the ropes, but actually steps backwards, using the bounce from the ropes to give him some extra momentum. He releases the knuckle-lock, steps forward, and wraps his arms around the Corporal, before nailing him with an overhead belly to belly suplex that sends Punishment into the ropes before he crashes to the mat, adding some extra ropeburn on top of the normal impact. Punishment is back to his feet quickly, but Molaroni immediately hits him with a jumping armbreaker. He immediately tries to follow it up with a fujiwara armbar, but Punishment scrambles out of the way, avoiding the submission maneuver. He rolls through, and ends back up in his corner, where Ruby sticks her hand out, requesting a tag. But Punishment seems to think he has a point to prove and holds up his hand, asking her to wait a bit longer.

Ricky grins as Punishment refuses to tag, and holds his hand out, making a get over here’ gesture. Punishment does so, and as he rushes at Molaroni with a clothesline, Ricky ducks underneath it. However, Punishment runs the ropes and nails him with a dropkick on the rebound, sending him to the mat. The Corporal quickly climbs to the top of the turnbuckle, wanting to go for an aerial maneuver, but Molaroni is back on his feet before Punishment can take the leap. Ricky goes to the same corner and climbs the buckles. He locks Punishment’s head in, wanting to go for a superplex, but the soldier blocks it. He unleashes a flurry of strikes aimed at Molaroni’s flanks until he releases, and then starts hammering away with a series of headbutts. Molaroni falls backwards, and lands on his back. Punishment sees the opportunity, and goes for a Swanton Bomb! Marisol’s finisher too, a coincidence, or does he want to bomb a point home?

MISSED! Molaroni rolls out of the way, and Punishment hits nothing but mat. Molarino rolls to his own corner and quickly tags in his partner Marisol who is eager to target her vulnerable opponent. As a dazed Punishment gets back to his feet, he is immediately levelled again by Marisol, who comes flying in with a crossed body. Punishment tries to get up as quickly as he can again to defend himself, but Marisol hits a hurricanrana, sending him against the ropes and uses an armdrag to take him down on the rebound before wanting to lock in her patented Divine Blackout in one smooth motion!

But the Corporal struggles, preventing her from locking it in fully, and Marisol is interrupted as Ruby explodes out of her corner with a dropkick, sending her down to the mat. Ruby rolls out of the ring immediately, and the momentary distraction allows Punishment to hit Marisol with the Boot Camp! But he is too dazed to realize he has to go for the cover, instead instinctively crawling back towards his corner, where an eager Ruby now awaits, wanting to tag herself in. As she does so, the crowd erupts, and Ruby comes at Marisol, nailing her with a facebuster that is followed by a jumping reverse bulldog. She helps Marisol back to her feet, before Irish Whipping her into an unoccupied corner, and hitting a Stinger Splash. She retreats, and calls for her typical devastating kneestrike, the Ruby in the Rough! But as a dazed Marisol seems to walk into a trap, Ricky walks along the apron and holds her back, preventing her from walking into a deadly set-up. Ruby doesn’t take too kindly to that, and she runs in anyway, dropkicking Ricky off the apron, sending him to the outside! Ruby gets up, runs the ropes, and leaps to the outside with a Fosbury Flop, landing right on Ricky! They both crash to the mat, and as Marisol sees the carnage on the outside, she runs the ropes too and goes for a suicide dive through the ropes, hitting both Ruby and her partner! The fans cheer, and they nearly blow the roof off as Punishment makes his way to the nearest corner, before ascending the top turnbuckle as well! Ruby, Marisol and Ricky all gingerly get back on their feet and Punishment leaps, the massive screams of the crowd elevating him to unseen heights as he somersaults on all three of his ‘colleagues’.

The group explodes, with bodies falling everywhere, and it is Punishment who is back to his feet first. He helps his partner Ruby up first, and helps her back in the ring. Marisol is the other one who’s legal, and he rolls her back in the ring, to prevent a count-out, wanting to win this the right way. Ruby is already back to her feet in the ring, and she sizes Marisol up for a Ruby in the Rough! She rushes in… countered! Marisol gets Ruby into a fireman’s carry, and walks around the ring. She’s going for her trademark Death Valley Driver! She’s about to hit it!

But her back seems to give out! Marisol collapses, clutching her lower back with both hands as she drops to her knees. Ruby falls down as well, but the tiny Canadian manages to land on her knees. Marisol seems to be in agony, possibly because of an old back injury that returned. She tries to get back up to a completely vertical basis, but as she does so, Ruby sees her chance and rushes in…

Tiny Canadian Destroyer! She hits the flipping piledriver, and the crowd gets up to their feet as Ruby goes in for the pin.

ONE!

Ricky slides into the ring, looking to break it up.

TWO!

Punishment follows him and hits him with the Boot Camp before he can break it up!

THREE!

It’s over, and JJ calls for the bell!

Winners, by pinfall at 12:01
–RUBY & CORPORAL PUNISHMENT–

Corporal Punishment and Ruby advance to the grand final of the UWE Universal Tag Team Championship! They share a hug in the middle of the ring as they realize that they made it! Ricky helps Marisol to the back, obviously worries about the way she seemed to have reinjured herself during the finish of the match. But nevertheless, Ruby and Corporal Punishment will go on to face the winners of tonight’s main event!

As the celebrations come to an end, Ruby kindly asks Corporal Punishment to leave, as she still has some business to attend. She grabs a microphone, and does exactly what she said she’d do… call out the Masked Madman. She says Asylum’s name, and asks him to come out to the ring. She knows he is in the building, and she says she wants to show him that he is not a monster, but instead worthy of respect and love, just like any other person out there.

The crowd don’t quite know how to react. Asylum is known to them as a psychopath with zero regard for human life, and they have never known him to be worthy of anything but their scorn and jeers. However, if their resident sweetheart is willing to give him a chance, who are they to disagree?

Asylum’s theme starts to play, and Ruby remains in the ring as the Masked Madman comes from the back, slowly making his way towards her. The crowd dreads what is going to happen next, but as Asylum climbs through the ropes, Ruby simply holds the microphone up to her mouth. She says that no matter what people may think about him, there are also people who have not yet given up on him. No matter what Lise Fortier, Dr. Seville, or anyone else may think, none of them have ever tried to do what should have been done, and that is treat Asylum as just another regular human being. And while she may not have the medical background of someone like Seville, she has never seen a person treated with kindness not be kind himself.

She continues by saying that she regretted his actions during their short-lived stint as a tag team, biting Adeline the way he did, but that he also seemed to express regret afterwards, and that that was a major step in the right direction; it implies he recognized there was a problem with his behavior, and that was the first step towards fixing it. She then says that the fact they both wear masks is a sign that they don’t have to be enemies, but that they can be allies… and that having to wear a mask doesn’t make you a freak, or a psycho, but that it can mean that you can be a force of good as well. And she will lead by example, hoping that he will follow in her footsteps as she guides him towards the light.

Then, she drops her mic… and hugs him! The size difference between the two makes it almost comical, but Asylum seems taken aback by Ruby’s sign of kindness. He doesn’t know how to react, and as she releases him, there almost seems to be fear in Asylum’s eyes. Fear of having to finally confront the good in him. He backs off, rolls out of the ring and quickly makes his way to the back as Ruby remains behind and the scene cuts to black.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Brute Rockne vs. David Stone

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Only five years of age between them, but well over a decade in wrestling experience! The crowd is extremely excited to see the rookie Brute Rockne face off against the Hall of Famer, David Stone. Stone had some choice words for Rockne, and it’s obvious as Corey Miner calls for the bell, that he is none too impressed with the former Superbowl MVP.

However, as the bell rings, Rockne quickly overpowers Stone in the traditional lock-up, driving him against the ropes. Rockne follows it up with an elbow jab to Stone’s face, and puts his palm on his cheek, driving his head backwards. Miner gets involved and starts counting, and when Rockne releases at the count of 4, he gets a chop in, slapping the Hall of Famer’s chest as hard as he can, leaving a clear palmprint on Stone’s chest.

Rockne grins as he finally agrees to the referee’s enforced clean break before being disqualified. Stone rubs his chest, and looks at Rockne, before grinning and nodding. It’s clear he is no longer underestimating him. The next time Rockne comes at him he is better prepared. Brute drives Stone back again, but Stone uses that momentum to reverse their position and drives Rockne sternum-first into the turnbuckles. He grabs the ex-tight end from behind and hits him with a great tiger suplex, keeping it locked in as to get a pin attempt going!

ONE!

TWO!

Rockne kicks out, and shakes his head as he scrambles to his feet. But his football instinct kicks in, and he cleverly adopts a three-point stance. As Stone gets back to his feet as well, Rockne explodes from his lower position, and hits Stone with such a hard shoulder tackle he sends the legend flying! Stone lands to the mat and the momentum causes him to roll out of the ring. What a pounce! The crowd applauds this display of brute strength and athleticism, and Stone gets back to his feet on the outside, ironically applauding the former NFL player’s hitting power. He slides back into the ring, ducks underneath a clothesline, and hits Rockne with a chop block on the rebound. Rockne collapses, and grabs his knee in pain. Stone grins, and starts stomping away at Rockne’s head, before grabbing Rockne’s ankle. He commences to drop some elbows on it, while holding on to the ankle, making sure he’s got nowhere to go and he can obliterate the knee, which is now obviously his primary target.

After an elbow or five dropped, Stone now start stomping away at the back of the knee, each of which is accompanied by a grunt of Rockne. Stone then proceeds to drag ROcke by the ankle towards the nearest corner. He releases the ankle, and before Rockne can get back to his feet, Stone has already slid out of the ring. He grabs the ankle again, and drags Rockne even further, until his legs are around the steel ringpost! He swings, and smashes Rockne’s bad knee against the post! Rockne screams in pain, and Stone grins, before repeating the move again!

Rockne eventually manages to drag himself away, but the damage seems to be done. Stone has decimated his knee, and he lies in the middle of the ring, unable to get up to a vertical basis. Stone slides back in the ring, and gingerly walks towards his opponent. Getting a bit cocky there, David? A man with is experience should know better. As he slowly goes in for the cover, Rockne grabs him into an inside cradle, covering him!

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! But still, it seems to have given Rockne a major boost in confidence and adrenaline. He gets up, and though his limp is severe, he bites through the pain. He helps Stone to his feet and lifts the big man up, before hitting him with a powerslam! He proceeds to drop a leg, making sure to avoid the use of his bad leg, and traps Stone completely. He goes for another cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out. The Hall of Famer gets back to his feet, but Rockne kicks him in the gut, and gets him in position, lifting him up into stall suplex position… and he hits the Keg Stand!! The ring rumbles under the impact, and Rockne feels he is nearing the win. With Stone down, he is now preparing for the ‘Sexy and I Know It’! He starts his gyrating taunt, but… his knee buckles! He collapses to one knee, and it gives Stone just about enough time to recover. The Hall of Famer gets back to his feet as Rockne tries to scramble back to his feet. And as the former tight end does so…

Stone Cutter! Rockne collapses once more, and Stone isn’t done yet! He locks in the Stone Crusher. The torque on the ankle, spreading all the way to Rockne’s severely damaged knee, is more than any human being can handle. Rockne has no choice but to tap out for the good of his long-term career, before Stone destroys his leg completely.

Winner, by submission at 08:47
–DAVID STONE–

Stone immediately releases the hold as Miner calls for the bell. He got the win, but Rickne put up a valiant effort, showing that he can go toe to toe with some of the company’s very best. The crowd applaud his bravery as he gets back to his feet, refuses any medical help, and limps to the back.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Corey Sanders

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

A determined Tiami Erickson awaits for Corey Sanders to take the ring. The stare she gives is as full of ice as her nickname implies. Sanders matches her look with one of equal intensity while waiting for the bell. As soon as it rings both wrestlers come together in a lock up.

Corey quickly rolls the lock up into a tight hammer lock. Tiami grunts and ducks under comes in with a big knee. She grabs hold of his head and attempt a DDT but Corey grips around her waist to block and lifts her into a front slam.

Both get to their feet and Corey launches a drop kick that puts Tiami down again. When she stands Sanders attempts a clothesline but Erickson ducks under and grabs hold of his waist before launching him with a release German suplex. Corey lands with thud and Tiami moves in with a kick to the chest. She then lifts him up to perform a snap suplex. Erickson then picks him back up to hit a belly to belly suplex before going for a pin.

Sanders gets the shoulder up at one. Frustrated Tiami picks him up again and grabs his head to go for a running bulldog. As she tries to use the maneuver Corey reverses by picking her up and using an atomic drop. Both wrestlers stay down for a moment to catch their breathe as the ref begins to count. At the count of five Tiami gets to her feet slightly faster than Corey. As he is still on one knee Tiami hits him with a stiff rolling elbow. Erickson doesn’t let her opponent rest long before lifting him back up and attenptingban Irish whip.

Sanders reverses and sends Tiami into the corner. Once she hits he follows up with a hard clothesline against the turnbuckle. As she tries to recover, Corey uses the second rope to launch a spring board knee that drops Tiami to the ground. Corey rolls her up.

Erickson refuses to stay down! Corey gets to his feet and lifts his opponent up to fling her with a hip toss. As Tiami uses the ropes to get up Corey rushes in but Tismi moves and uses a drop toe hold to put him across the ropes. She climbs to the ring apron and leaps up, dropping her elbow across Corey’s head. She hits the floor on her feet but Sanders isn’t so lucky, sliding out of the ring to land on the ground.

Erickson ignores the ref who orders her back in. Instead she climbs back onto the apron and up onto the turnbuckle to launch a flying elbow. Corey manages to get enough presence of mind to roll to safety as Tiami lands with a loud thud. Once again both wrestlers lay prone as the ref counts.

After the first few hits she gets an angry look and spits in his face. Corey looks pissed himself now and pulls back for another punch but Tiami blocks. She fires two hard shots to his gut. As Sanders reels Tiami grabs his head and slams it into the steel steps. While he tries to recover she backs up and spears him through the steps.

The ref continues to count, getting back to seven before Tiami manages to roll Corey in before joining him. Tiami lifts Corey up and puts him into position for the Icy Nail. Erickson looks right at the camera and shouts.

“YOU’RE NEXT, MARCUS!”

With that she drops Sanders with the reverse DDT and covers.

Match Four – Single’s Match
Caliee Adams vs. Jared Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

As the match between Caliee Adams and Jared Oliver was about to start Jared shocked the crowd twice. First by coming to the ring dressed as a clown and then announcing he would no longer be in the Dogs of War. Despite his jovial appearance Caliee looked none too amused as she came down to the ring amidst thunderous applause. Once the ref had finished instructions Adams wasted no time going on the offensive. She kicks Jared hard in the gut and follows up with a stiff elbow to the head and several quick punches. Jared fires back but Caliee ducks under his punch and counters with an arm drag.

As Oliver begins to stand Adams rushes in and puts him back down with a front drop kick. The fans cheer as Caliee stands and waves with a grin. She turns back to her foe and continues her attack, kicking Jared roughly in the ribs as he tries to stand. Adams then grabs hold of Jared’s head and begins laying in with punches as the crowd counts.

As she pulls back for six Jared blocks and fires back with a punch of his own to Caliee’s stomach. He then grabs hold of her ankles and pulls back, sweeping her to the mat. Jared stands and grabs hold of Caliee’s left leg, wrenching it back towards him. He yanks back again then drops an elbow onto her knee. Caliee yells out as Jared stands and drops another elbow. He then gets back to his feet and steps down on the knee, standing on it as she writhes and the crowd boos. Finally Jared lifts his opponent back up and lays into her with quick, hard punches. Oliver lines up for a roundhouse and fires but the quick thinking Caliee ducks under. When she gets back up she hits a quick spin kick followed by a head scissors that sends Oliver back to the canvas.

Adams hits the ropes and as she comes back Jared is just getting to his feet. Caliee leaps into the air and lands a cross body splash before attempting a pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Oliver kicks out! Caliee doesn’t waste any time complaining but goes right back on the attack. She lifts Jared up before taking him back down with a snap mare. As he begins to sit up Adams attempts a sleeper hold. She gets the lock in but as she goes for the body scissor Jared catches a leg and rolls forward, taking Caliee with him. When the two stop rolling Jared has reversed his fortune and is locking in a knee bar.

Caliee tries to crawl for the ropes but Jared’s technique and size advantage to hold her in place. She refuses to tap however and continues fighting. Jared releases slightly to allow her to crawl forward before tanking her back. The crowd boos as he repeats and let’s out a loud and taunting laugh that elicits a louder boo from the audience. The taunting backfires on Oliver, as he gives Caliee just enough room to roll and kick him hard in the face.

Jared releases and rolls back to hold his face. He tries to get to his feet but Caliee leaps and hits a front drop kick into his face. The crowd cheers as Caliee stands shaking on her now sore knee. Jared tries to get up again and Adams is kind enough to help him before sending him into the ropes. Caliee limos over and launches several strong punches into her opponent’s head before helping him remove his makeup by rubbing his face against the turnbuckle.

As Caliee finishes Jared holds onto the ropes for support. Adams pulls him from the corner and performs a swinging neckbreaker. After they hit Caliee keeps hold of Jared and lifts him again before doing another neck breaker. Deciding the third time is the charm Caliee brings him up once more and prepares to do another but as she swings Jared uses the momentum to swing through into a hangman position. Once there he swivels back to hit the Oliver Twist!!! Jared crawls in for the cover.

–JARED OLIVER–

The fans boo as Jared climbs to his feet and raises an arm. Caliee rolls out of the ring as Jared climbs to the second turnbuckle and raises his arms. He points at his opponent and mimics crying as she gives one last disgusted look and walks away.

Just Plain Better vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The main event is here. If this were the finals of the tournament, I’m sure no one would be upset, but this isn’t the end! Just Plain Better are in the ring, clad in their custom bulletproof vests. Hopefully that doesn’t restrict their movement!

Brandon is already coming right at him, but by instinct, Erikson rolls out of the way! Brandon bounces off of the turnbuckle, chest first.

Wulf quickly dropkicks Brandon, sending him bouncing off of the turnbuckle by his chest once more!

As Brandon stumbles back towards the center of the ring, Wulf hooks on and wastes no time! He twists Brandon and slams him to the mat!

Wit’s End!

Brandon almost folds like a lawnchair!

Wulf hurries on top of Brandon for the cover! Chuck Aitken slides in!

–#EMPHASISONBULLET–

Wulf sees Adeline scrambling onto the apron and runs over to help her into the ring, delivering the message that they are victorious. They embrace and bounce around, ecstatic at the win they just earned.

Meanwhile, Matt has slid into the ring behind them, checking on his brother, and helping him get up to his feet. They look a bit disappointed in themselves, but nonetheless, they gather their composure and approach Wulf and Addy.

All four competitors meet in the middle of the ring. Brandon starts with a serious nod and puts out a fist. Matt follows suit and puts his fist in. The crowd erupts as Wulf and Addy look around for their reaction. #EOB sets their fists in with JPB’s and the fans get even louder.

As they break, Matt grabs Addy’s arm and Brandon grab’s Wulf’s. They raise the hands of the victorious team and show them off to the crowd, approving of their victory. Another team of the future endorsed by the Moore Brothers. What a main event match that was and what a match the finals will be!

Show Opener
Marisol Hawkes & Ricky Molaroni vs. Dogs of War – Tag Team Tournament Match

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

The opening match kicks off with Jared Oliver and Ricky Molaroni sizing each other up as their partners wait outside for their chance at the action. Ricky and Jared lock up and quickly begin looking for an advantage. Molaroni pushes into Oliver looking to push him back but Jared twists and sends his opponent to the mat with a quick arm drag. Ricky is back on his feet in an instant and goes on the offensive. Molanari attacks with a quick snap jab that connects and sends Jared stumbling back. Ricky follows up with two more hard strikes but as he pulls back for a third Oliver ducks in and connects with a punch of his own to the solar plexus. As Ricky grabs his stomach Jared goes into a hard flurry ending with a spinning back fist that puts Molaroni back onto the mat.

A frustrated Ricky gets back to his feet and comes back in. Jared goes to lock up again when Molaroni knees him hard in the midsection. Oliver reels and bends forward right into another knee that drops him. As Ricky lifts Jared back up Marisol is almost begging for a tag but her partner smiles and shakes his head, dropping Oliver again with a clothesline before laying a hard stomp onto his arm.

Jared grabs his elbow and writhes as Ricky lifts him once more, this time twisting the elder Oliver’s arm before dropping an elbow down onto it hard. Jared grunts and falls to one knee but Molaroni keeps hold of the arm and forces his foe back up before twisting it again. Oliver struggles but the right grip of his opponent keeps the Dog of War in place. Ricky wrenches again then yanks, pulling Jared completely off his feet.

Outside both Danny and Marisol are reaching in trying to get their partner to tag them in. Jared can’t comply because he is again having his arm stomped on by Ricky. Ricky doesn’t comply but turns to his partner and shakes his head, patting himself on the chest and giving a self assured grin as if to say he has it under control. Hawkes yells out and Molaroni heads closer and again shakes his head. What he’s saying can’t be heard but he points back at his foe and makes a breaking motion.

What Molaroni doesn’t see as he assures his partner he’s got things under control is that Jared had gotten up and heads over to tag his brother in. Ricky gives one last shake of his head and then turns back to what he expects to be a downed Jared but instead walks face first into a flurry of forearm strikes by Danny. The younger Oliver forces Molaroni back onto the ropes before whipping him to the other side of the ring. As Ricky comes back Danny snatches him up into a snap powerslam. The crowd goes wild as Danny stands and yells out as he raises a hand in triumph. The younger Dog lifts Molaroni once more before performing a spine jarring belly to belly suplex. Danny follows up with a springboard moonsault and tries to cover.

Molaroni up at two! Danny doesn’t let his frustration get to him, he pulls his opponent back to his feet before sending him into the corner. As Ricky thuds against the turnbuckles Danny charges in for a clothesline but Ricky lifts a foot at the very last moment and Danny gets a very close look at the bottom of Ricky’s boot! Danny hits the ground as Molaroni slowly stumbles out of the corner to tag in his partner.

Marisol explodes into the ring and rushes at Danny. The younger Oliver is getting back to his feet but Hawkes springboards off the ropes to hit Danny with a devastating enzigurri that drops him once more. Marisol then climbs the ropes and dives into a moonsault of her own before trying for a pin.

Danny gets the shoulder up! Marisol helps him to his feet only to drop the bigger wrestler again with a flurry of kicks ending with a big drop kick. Danny is back up quickly and tries to mount an offense but Hawkes cuts him off with a head scissors. Marisol follows up by grabbing hold of Danny’s leg and putting him into a tight ankle lock. The younger Dog yells out as his foot is twisted painfully. He begins trying to crawl for the ropes. Marisol pulls back and tries to hold him in place but Danny’s weight advantage comes into play and soon he is crawling for the ropes, dragging his opponent behind him! Finally he reaches the ropes and Hawkes is forced to release. She lets go and backs up as Danny uses the ropes to climb to his feet. Once he is standing Marisol charges in to try and knock him over but Danny ducks and attempts to send her over the ropes.

Hawkes manages to land on the apron and jumps to the top rope to jump over. Danny turns just in time to see her fly. As she comes crashing down Danny surprises Hawkes by catching her and spinning into a spinebuster! Jared and Ricky are both trying to get their partner’s attention. Marisol slowly rolls to get stomach and begins to crawl to her corner which is closer. Danny tries to make his way to tag in his brother but the still sore ankle causes him to move slower than normal.

Both legal wrestlers are closing in and Ricky reaches out as far as he can to make the tag. He rushes in to attack Danny but seconds before he can reach his foe, the younger Oliver tags in the elder. Jared rushes into the ring and intercepts Ricky with a flurry of hard punches. Jared finishes with a roundhouse kick that leaves people wondering if Ricky is leaving with a smaller head than he came in with.

Jared lifts the dazed Ricky back up before taking him back to the mat with a headlock takeover. The elder Oliver then squeezes tightly around his opponent’s neck, wrenching tightly. Ricky struggles against the lock and soon fights to one knee. From there he grabs onto Jared’s legs and sweeps him to the mat. They both stand and Ricky charges for a clothesline that Jared ducks under. Oliver waits for his opponent to rebound and tries for a super kick but now it’s Ricky’s turn to duck. When Molaroni returns again he slams into his foe with a bone crunching spear. Ricky stands and lifts Jared to his feet before pulling him up into a vertical suplex. When Molaroni stands he sees Marisol calling for the tag and decides that this time discretion would be the better part of valor.

Ricky makes the tag and rather than entering the typical way, Marisol springboards over the ropes to land a drop kick against Jared who is knocked to the canvas again. She follows up with a few quick stomps before climbing to the top rope. Once there Marisol attempts a moonstomp. Jared rolls out of the way as Marisol lands. She, too, rolls through and both stand at the same time. As Jared moves in to attack he is countered by a surprise super kick!

Marisol goes in for the kill and begins to lock in the Divine Blackout. Jared struggles and tries to roll through but finds himself stuck. As Marisol cranks he’s left no choice but to tap out.

WINNER, by pinfall at 12:43
–Marisol Hawkes & Ricky Molaroni–

The bell rings and Hawkes releases the hold. The victors celebrate inside the ring as the Dogs of War make their way to the back.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Brute Rockne vs. Shawn Lowery

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Shawn and Brute begin their match by circling and sizing one another up. Brute moves in and attempts to lock up but Shawn ducks under and knees the bigger man in the gut. Lowery hits the ropes and comes back in to try and clothesline Brute off his feet. Rockne barely budges and Shawn tries again with similar effect. He tries once more but as he closes in Brute scoops the smaller man up into a sidewalk slam.

Brute scoops Lowery back up and then pulls him into a short arm clothesline. Shawn hits the canvas with a loud thud and Rockne capitalizes with a leaping leg drop. The former football player stands and shows off his impressive arms, drawing a loud cheer from the ladies on the audience. After showing off, Brute picks his opponent back up and lifts him into a powerslam. Before Rockne can execute, however, Shawn slides off and delivers a drop kick to the back. Brute falls face first onto the ground and Lowery follows up with another drop kick to the head.

Shawn stands and walks confidently around his prone foe. With a smug grin he stomps hard onto Brute’s back before kneeling down to put the corner NFL player into a headlock. Rockne struggles against the hold but Shawn leans back, wrenching his opponent’s neck painfully. Brute tries to get to his feet but Lowery cuts off his leverage. The crowd begins to chant for Brute as the lock gets tighter.

Brute! Brute! Brute!

The sound of the cheering pushes Rockne on until he finally manages to get to his base. He begins to stand and lifts Shawn up to hit a back suplex. Lowery arches his back in pain as Brute gets to his feet amidst loud cheering.

Brute pulls Shawn to his feet before stumbling him with a massive European uppercut. Lowery tries to regain his balance but a huge chop from Rockne drops him to the canvas. Brute picks him back up before another big chop floors Shawn again. Rockne again helps his foe up before sending him into a corner. Rockne stands in the other corner and points at Lowery before charging in with a spear.

The crowds cheering quickly turns to boos as Shawn slides out of the way, leaving Rockne to run into the corner. As he rebounds off Shawn leaps up sends Brite flying with a monkey flip. Rockne tries to recover but before he can Shawn begins kicking and stomping the big man who tries to cover up.

Once he’s finishes stomping Shawn picks Brute back up and performs a belly to belly suplex. The big man hits the ground like a ton of bricks and Lowery tries to cover.

At the count of two the smaller man is removed as Brute launches him into the air. The crowd cheers again as Brute gets back to his feet and eggs Shawn on to come after him. Lowery charges in and Brute prepares to try and catch him again but Shawn turns and wheelbarrows up before hitting an arm drag. Rockne hits the canvas and tries to stand but a drop kick to the chest puts him back down. Lowery waits for Rockne to get back up before hitting another big kick that sprawls the large man.

The crowd boos as Shawn taunts the downed giant with flexing of his own. The smug Shawn waves off the jeers and lifts Rockne up and puts him into position for a butterfly DDT. Brute counters by lifting his foe into a back body drop, slamming Shawn down violently. Brute shows the crowd what a real flex looks like before he picks Lowery up and hefts him up into a vertical suplex, bringing him down into a powerslam with the keg stand.

The large NFL player stands over his fallen foe and gyrates as the women in the crowd cheer wildly. Once he’s done with showing off Brute falls into an elbow drop across Lowery’s chest. Brute rolls Shawn up for the pin and the ref drops.

Match Three – Tag Team Tournament Match
Nashville Starlets vs. Corporal Punishment & Ruby

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

People are surprised as an already beaten and worn down Corporal Punishment makes his way to the ring. It’s obvious he is in poor shape, but even as Ruby asks him what’s up, he simply shakes his head, and refuses to let it impact his willingness to start the match.
People are stil raving about Tasha Jones’ debut, and it’s no surprise that she is the one to start off the match, facing off against the Tiny Canadian Ruby, since her partner looks like he could do with a breather. Clad in her new ring gear, UWE’s resident masked sweetheart knows all too well what Tasha is capable of. As the bell rings, they circle each other carefully, with Ruby rolling out of the way every time Tasha charges at her. She eventually lures Tasha in, managing to nail her with an armdrag. Tasha recovers immediately, but Ruby is there to grab her leg, and follows it up with a dragon legwhip, twisting Tasha’s knee.

Tasha is sent towards her own corner, and slaps Evie’s hand, tagging her in. Evie hops over the top rope and charges at Ruby with such speed that the tiny Canadian is unable to react to her lightning quick roundhouse kick! Ruby collapses momentarily, and Evie takes advantage of that to go for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Ruby kicks out! The Corporal was about to rush in as Ruby got her shoulder up, but retreats to his corner. Evie starts to unload on Ruby. First, she easily lifts her onto her shoulders, then nailing her with a Samoan Drop, before dropping a couple of knees to her skull. She then grabs Ruby’s arm, twisting it and forcing into a hammerlock, basically dragging Ruby back to her feet. She wraps her other arm around the tiny Canadian’s waist and hits an Ace in the Hole, sending Ruby flying and landing on her own arm!

Ruby shakes her arm, trying to restore some bloodflow, but Evie is right back on her case with a hard elbow to the back of the neck. She follows it up with another pin attempt.

ONE!

TWO!

Ruby kicks out! Evie slaps the mat in frustration, before lifting Ruby back to her feet. She sends her into the ropes and on the rebound intends to hit her with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Ruby reverses it into a headscissors, sending Evie flying! The crowd cheers at this sudden shift in momentum, and Ruby desperately tries to make it to her corner to tag in Punishment. She inches closer and closer, dragging herself along the canvas, but Evie meanwhile has already tagged in Tasha! Just a fingertip away, Tasha grabs Ruby’s ankle, before dragging her back to the center of the ring!

Ruby tries to hit Tasha but her arms are too short and she slaps nothing but air. Tasha meanwhile tries to kick Ruby in the face but the tiny Canadian avoids the hit, preventing a possible knockout! Ruby wriggles her ankle free, and gets back to her feet, ducking underneath Tasha’s clothesline to hit her with a drop toe-hold on the rebound! Tasha falls face first onto the mat, and Ruby takes the advantage to go over to her corner and tag in Punishment.

AN exhausted Ruby rolls out of the ring a CP goes to town on Tasha. He immediately takes to the top rope, and hits a Swanton Bomb on the Starlet. He follows that up with a standing moonsault, and then grabs her hair to get her back to her feet. He drags her over to his own corner, and starts hammering away with the 21-gun salute, smashing her face into the top turnbuckle multiple times until the referee calls for him to stop. He does so, but also tags in his partner again. Ruby, slightly recovered, hops over the top, runs the ropes, and hits Tasha with a stinger splash! She tags Corporal Punishment back in again, who immediately resumes his 21 Gun Salute! After smashing her face multiple more times, he stops, fires up the crowd, and calls for a Boot Camp!

Tasha, dazed, turns around, but somehow has enough awareness to duck underneath the incoming Superkick. She rolls through and tags in Evie, who immediately comes flying in with a missile dropkick! Punishment is levelled, and as Evie wants to go for Shattered Globes, he rolls out of the way. He gets back to his feet, and nails Evie with a clothesline, shifting the momentum again. As Evie gets back on her feet, hse is Irish Whipped into CP and Ruby’s corner. Punishment lifts Evie on to the top turnbuckle. Is he going for the Death From Above?

Indeed he is, and as Punishment nails the superplex, Ruby tags herself back in just I time! As Punishment and Evie land hard in the middle of the ring, Ruby climbs to the top turnbuckle and leaps…

RSD!!

Ruby in the Sky with Diamonds! She hits her devastating leaping top-rope double-footed stomp to the face, and goes for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Tasha rushes in to break up the pin, but Punishment hits her with the Boot Camp!

THREE!

The referee calls for the bell!

WINNERS, by pinfall at 08:34
–Corporal Punishment & Ruby–

Morello lifts up the hands of both Punishment and Ruby as the duo have secured themselves a spot in the semi-finals, where they will face the team of Ricky Molaroni and Marisol Hawkes!

Match Four – Single’s Match
Beauty & The Geek vs. Just Plain Better

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

The two teams huddle in their respective corners until Corey Miner requests one member from each to start the bout. Josiah and Brandon will take on that task. Heather and Matt take their place on the apron as Brandon and Josiah begin to size each other up. Referee Miner calls for the bell and this thing is on.

Josiah is a smart competitor, so who knows what he is thinking, but he’s in the ring with Mr. UWE now. Brandon feels that wrestling is more than just calculations, so this clashing of styles is going to entertaining as all get out!

Both men are built in a similar fashion, but their age is a vast difference. Josiah uses some of his knowledge to avoid locking up with Brandon at all costs. Moore goes for a collar and elbow tie up, but Turnbow immediately steps to the side and out of the way.

Brandon goes in again, but Josiah slips out of his grasps. Brandon chases Josiah around the ring, unable to get a hand on him. Josiah knows better than to tie up with Brandon and he’s making Mr. UWE look like an absolute fool.

Josiah slides out of the ring and Brandon goes after him. Turnbow wastes no time in slide back in however, fooling Brandon once more. As Brandon comes back in, as quick as he can, he’s met with a huge dropkick by Josiah that plants him immediately.

Josiah stays on him, knowing that he needs to keep up this pace to down Mr. UWE. As Brandon sits up, Josiah dives on top of him with a side elbow. It knocks Brandon back down and Josiah flips him onto his stomach. Turnbow bounces off of the ropes and comes back with a big senton.

Josiah rolls Brandon over for a cover.

Brandon snaps out of his daze, though! He catches Heather in a fallaway slam position. Brandon spins Heather out and holds on…dropping her back onto his knee! Ouch! Moore has turned the tide here!

Brandon hurries over and tags his brother, Matt. Matt hurries into the ring as he notices Heather crawling towards her corner. He grabs her leg and pulls her back to the center of the ring. Heather turns over and kicks Matt a few times, loosening his grip. She escapes and rushes to her corner…but Matt is fast, too!

He catches her and her hand just narrowly misses Josiah’s! Matt locks the waist, keeping her from tagging in her partner, and sends her back with a huge release German Suplex! Matt heads over and picks her back up to her feet. Another German Suplex!

Josiah looks on, cringing at his partner being dropped on the back of her head.

Matt tags in Brandon and stays in the ring. Corey Miner starts to holler for him to exit. He will, but after a move first!

Matt lifts Heather up into a wheelbarrow position from the mat. He bounces her off of the ropes and slingshots back over his head. Brandon comes in and grabs the neck, ending it with a neckbreaker!

Brandon slides on top of Heather for a pin fall as Matt finally exits the ring.

No! Josiah Turnbow clubs Brandon over the back to break up the pin fall! Corey Miner goes to hold Josiah back as Brandon gets to his feet now. Surprise!

Heather hooks him for a roll up!

Heather is quick to her feet and rushes at Brandon after the pin fall attempt went unsuccessful…

Big leaping knee by Brandon! Heather’s momentum was stopped just as quick as it started.

Brandon drops to the mat and drives the same knee into her back, pulling on her arms while he does it. Strange submission maneuver here! Heather is adamant about staying in this bout. She’s not giving up!

And she is saved again by Josiah! He comes in with a big blow to the back of Brandon’s head, much to the ire of Referee Miner. He’s not stopping there, though! Turnbow sends Matt off of the apron with a dropkick!

Josiah gets a hold of Heather and drags her to the corner. He tags himself in!

Heather rolls out of the ring as Josiah quicky gets back in it. He rushes a kneeling Brandon and steps up off his open knee. Big enziguiri! Josiah is on the ropes now!

Brandon rolls onto his stomach, unaware of what’s to come!

Turnbow leaps….

SNIPER’S NEST!

The diving double foot stomp connects and he covers!

One…

Matt Moore in to break up the count!

Corey Miner shoos him away to his corner, trying to keep control of this match.

Josiah hurries back to Brandon and gets him to his feet. He Irish Whips him into his team’s corner and charges with a big set of knees to Brandon’s chest! Another Irish Whip across the ring now, into the Just Plain Better’s corner! Matt gets the tag and Miner acknowledges it!

Josiah has no idea, though! He hits Brandon with a big corner clothesline and throws him out towards the center of the ring. Yet again, Josiah climbs the top rope as Matt Moore lays in wait. Josiah leaps towards Brandon, but notices that he is moving out of the way!

Turnbow is able to control his jump and land on his feet, hitting a roll across the ring. He turns to keep the fight onto Brandon, but Matt Moore has already entered the ring during his flight. Matt spins!

As soon as Josiah turns around…

DISCUSS BIG BOOT!

It connects and plants the member of Torment! Matt goes for a cover!

WINNERS, by pinfall at 12:43
–Just Plain Better–

Corey Miner calls for the bell and this one is over!

Just Plain Better will take on the winning team of the #EmphasisOnBullet and The Empire match up later in the evening! The Moore Brothers embrace in the ring and raise their arms in victory, but not without recognizes the valiant effort of Beauty and the Geek.

Heather is finally up and rolling into the ring to check on Josiah. A bit weary of her opponents, she moves cautiously. That quickly changes however as Matt and Brandon help get Josiah to his feet. Now, the Moore Brothers each grab onto one member of Torments arm. Matt has Heather’s and Brandon has Josiah’s.

The Moores lift their arms high up and point to the two competitors, demanding that the crowd applause the fight they put up. Brandon shouts, “This is the future!” He mouths some words to Josiah and Heather now. Matt does the same. The four of them all shake hands as Just Plain Better exit the ring, leaving Beauty and the Geek a bit wide-mouthed by the fact that they were just endorsed by two of UWE’s greatest.

Match Five – Single’s Match
Eavan Maloney vs. David Stone

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Champion versus Legend. This is a huge test for Eavan Maloney and no doubt, she’ll be looking to pass it with flying colors. Chuck Aitken calls for the bell!

Eavan and David dance around the ring, both looking for any opening they can find. It isn’t long before they simply decide to lock up. David Stone has no choice but to play the bad guy here as he drags the beloved Ultimate Wrestling Champion into a headlock. He squeezes as hard as he can, but Eavan won’t give up that easily.

She sends a couple shots to Stone’s body before pulling them both back against the ropes. The momentum is enough to allow Maloney to send Stone across the ring. Stone comes back and Eavan charges him. She attempts a clothesline, but it will take more than that to topple the much larger Stone.

She rebounds and hits another clothesline, but Stone stays on his feet, shrugging the attack off.

One more go off the ropes and Maloney dives for a cross body! Stone catches her though and simply drops forward with a big slam.

He stays on for a cover very early!

One…

Resiliency shown by the champion with a kick out at one!

Stone is surprised, but figured that wouldn’t be the end of it. He gets Maloney to her feet and sends her into the corner. He sends a big front kick to the gut, but Maloney stays standing against the turnbuckle. Stone throws her into the opposite corner with an Irish Whip and charges! Eavan slips through the ropes onto the apron!

Stone’s chest hits the turnbuckle and sends him stumbling backwards as Maloney climbs to the top!

Eavan flips off of the ropes and connects her back onto Stone, taking the big man down! She stays on him in the position they land and tries her best to bring one of his legs up for the cover.

One…

Two…

Stone forces Maloney off.

David is impressed. He knows she is the champion for a reason.

The fight keeps up!

Maloney is up first, sending a flurry of leg kicks at the Hall of Famer, hoping to chop him down like a tree.

It sends him moving about the ring, trying to avoid it. Maloney feels like she has him running now!

Stone thinks another kick is coming at his legs, but Maloney is smart and changes it up. She leaps and sends the kick right into David’s head!

This sends Stone tumbling through the ropes and to the floor.

Uh oh…

Maloney stands and gets the crowd to clap and stomp along with her. She jumps to get her blood flowing and takes off!

Maloney hits the ropes and as she comes towards David, she dives through and out of the ring! Suicide Dive!

CRASH AND BURN!

David falls out of the way and Maloney eats nothing but barricade!

Chuck Aitken starts a count seeing as both competitors are on the outside of the ring.

One…

Two…

Three…

David is the first to get a move on.

Four…

He gets to Eavan’s crumpled body and lifts her with ease.

Five…

Six…

With Maloney over his shoulders, David sets her down on the apron and slides her into the ring.

Seven…

David follows and Chuck’s count must end.

Stone gets the champ to her feet, but quickly lifts her off the ground after hooking her arm and head. He has her up and holds her there…and holds her there…and holds her there…

AND HOLDS HER THERE! JEEZ!

With the blood rushing to her head, turning her face a similar color as her hair, Stone finally decides to go through with the maneuver. He drops Maloney back and hits the big stalling suplex.

David floats over for a pin fall attempt!

One…

Two…

Eavan gets a shoulder up!

Stone seems a little irked now, but his veteran status in UWE helps him keep his cool.

David simply lifts Eavan to her feet and sets her up against the ropes. Stone backs across the ring before launches himself towards the champ.

Stone throws a boot, but Eavan drops down!

David Stone’s little stones get caught up on the ropes! That’s got to hurt!

Maloney pulls David off and rolls him up! Chuck Aitken moves in!

One…

Two…

Stone forcefully kicks out!

Both competitors are quick to their feet and both competitors throw a kick!

DOUBLE SUPERKICKS!

They both connect on the chin of their opponent! Eavan with her signature super kick and David Stone with his brutal Stone Cutter! They both hit the mat. Hard.

Chuck Aitken has no choice but to start another kind of count as both competitors lay on the mat.

One…

Two…

Three…

Four…

They both begin to move.

Five…

Six…

On opposite sides of the ring, David and Eavan use the ropes to help themselves up.

Seven…

Eight…

They’re both up!

Eavan’s eyes grow wide as Stone charges her like a bull.

She rushes forward herself and ducks underneath a clothesline attempt. As she comes back, she ducks a second clothesline attempt!

One more time at the ropes and she jumps onto the them. She springboards off and turns, hoping to connect with anything to David Stone!

Instead, the front of her body hits the mat as Stone sidesteps her attempt and guides her down onto the canvas!

Stone grabs a hold of her leg and moves his arms up to her ankle…

Stone Crusher! Stone Crusher!

Wait, no!

Eavan wiggles and wiggles and wiggles! Stone can’t get the maneuver locked in completely!

Eavan flips herself and is able to move underneath Stone! The momentum trips Stone up and sends him to the mat in the same position that Maloney was just in. Eavan keeps a hold of Stone’s leg as she trips him and quickly grabs onto the other!

She presses the legs together and has Stone in position…

All she needs to do his sit down on his back and synch it in!

She does!

The cloverleaf is locked in! The Eavan Lock is applied in the center of the ring!

Stone scratches and claws. The bigger man is able to pull Maloney along, but they are so far away from any of the ropes!

The pain is just too much before he is able to make it to any sort of sanctuary! Stone slaps the mat and Chuck Aitken calls for the bell!

WINNERS, by submission at 11:39
–EAVAN MALONEY–

Stone continues to pain the mat as Eavan lets go of the hold. He’s not tapping out anymore. Instead, he’s mashing the canvas in frustration. Stone rolls himself out of the ring as Maloney is given her championship belt. She holds it high and ascends one of the turnbuckles, celebrating her victory.

She realizes she wants to congratulate Stone on a great match they’ve just had, but she sees her has already left the ring and is in the middle of flipping over a set of the steel ring steps. Furious with his defeat, Stone storms up the ramp after attacking the steps, not wanting to stick around.

Eavan looks a bit disappointed at these turn of events, but regardless, she plays to the crowd and points to her Ultimate Wrestling Championship belt that is waving above her head as Over the Top takes a commercial break.

~*~*~

As we come back from commercial break, the viewers at home are met with the sight of none other than Lise Fortier. Standing in the middle of the ring, microphone in hand, she declares that in light of UWE’s recent successes, they will soon begin to expand the UWE brand. As part of that, a new TV deal is in the works. While she can’t yet disclose any details regarding that, it will include a switch to Tuesday nights for UWE’s flagship show, Over the Top!

With it, it will bring many novelties to the UWE product. Mrs. Fortier claims there are exciting times ahead, however, she is soon cut off by chants of ‘We Want Lara!’ The CEO tries her best to ignore thee chants, however, and continues with her speech, saying that soon UWE will grow from local Vancouver wrestling company to national, and after that global, powerhouse!

The new TV deal will commence after UWE’s next PPV, ‘Anything Goes’, after which we will also see the switch to Tuesday Nights. More news to come soon!

Main Event
The Empire vs. #EOB

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

It’s the main event! Marcus LeVine’s lackeys face off against the extremely agile combo of Adeline La Roux and Wülf Erikson! The Empire got to the quarter finals on a BYE, but Adeline and Wülf were put through almost literal hell last week, with Asylum trying to take a literal bite out of the Crimson Bullet!
It is also Adeline who starts off the match, against Joey Hendrix. The two lock up in the center of the ring, with the Crimson Bullet twisting Joey’s arm into a hammerlock. She contorts the arm further, applying pressure to the shoulder and elbow of the Imperial, and then releases the hold, only to level Hendrix with a snap dragon suplex, sending him neck first to the mat! Adeline grins and rolls over to her corner, tagging in her partner Wülf! The Silver Bullet waits until Joey gets back to his feet and springboards, levelling him with a hurricanrana, hooking his legs in the process.

ONE!

TWO!

Joey kicks out, but only barely! Wülf then helps him to his feet, only to send him into the corner where Adeline awaits. Adeline smashes a forearm into his face as Joey lands in the corner, dazing him; the Imperial head is then hit with a dropkick to the back of his head, sending him face first into the top turnbuckle. Wülf rolls him up from behind!

ONE!

TWO!

Joey kicks out, but it’s clear he requires great effort to do so. As Wülf seeks to continue his assault, Joey starts rolling away, to his own corner, and rolls out of the ring. Chris then hops off the apron to assist his partner.
Wülf and Adeline take one look at each other, look at the pair grouped up on the outside, look at each other again, and yell it: BUDDY DTF!

The pair makes the run, do the springboard, and flip! There’s the 450 to the outside, as they crash into the Empire! They immediately get back to their feet as the crowd cheers, and the pair rolls Joey back into the ring. With Wülf the legal man, he sizes Joey up for the Wit’s End.

And hits it!

ONE!

TWO!

TOO CLOSE to the ropes! While Joey showed zero signs of moving, Chris grabbed his brother’s foot and pulled him out of the ring, breaking up the pin. Under rapturous boos, Chris supports his brother and they start walking to the back, shaking their heads. Were #EOB too much for them to handle? Or are they simply living to fight the fight another day?

Either way, Claudia Morello has no choice but to count them out at the count of ten as a livid Adeline and Wülf dare them to get back in the ring and finish the match, but to no avail.

–#EmphasisOnBullet–

As Morello calls for the bell, it is #EmphasisOnBullet who advance to the semi-final, one victory away from a shot at the UWE Universal Tag Team Championships! It’s obvious this wasn’t the way they’d wanted the W, but they might be happy they were able to save some energy tonight, as the formidable duo of Just Plain Better awaits them next week!
