Show Opener – Single’s Match
Buster Bradley vs. Corey Sanders
Posted Image

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

The second meeting between Corey Sanders and Buster Bradley begins with the two men circling one another slowly. Sanders begins feeling out his opponent with a few feints to try and get him to drop his guard. Bradley stays on focus, however, not falling for the fake shots. Corey then fires a real punch and Buster ducks under and shuffles in and grabs Corey in an elbow and collar tie up.

Buster snaps Corey into a tight headlock and squeezes down like a vice. After struggling for a few moments Sanders twists away and pulls Bradley’s arm into a hammer lock. Ben grunts as his arm is wrenched painfully. Buster ducks under Corey’s arm and grabs him into a waist lock, pulling him tight. Buster picks Sanders up but Corey hooks a leg to keep himself from being lifted. Sanders then reverses the hold and reverses the hold, spinning to stand behind Buster.

Buster grabs hold of Corey’s arm and peels it off, lifting his arm to grab Sanders head and whipping him over with a headlock takedown. On the mat Buster resumes wrenching on Sanders head. Corey grunts and struggles, pushing back on Buster’s head to sit him back. Sanders then quickly wraps his legs around Buster’s head and puts him into a scissor lock.

Corey squeezes tightly on Buster’s neck, causing the ref to start to check Bradley’s consciousness. The arm is raised!
One drop…
Two drops…

Three dro- No!

Buster gets the arm back up and struggles to sit. As he does Corey pulls him into a modified Triangle choke and begins trying to finish the match. Buster lifts Corey up for a powerbomb but Sanders keeps the hold on tight. Bradley picks his opponent back up and drives him back down but still the choke is kept on. Buster tries once more, this time lifting Sanders up as high as he can before powerboming him once more.

Sanders finally lets go and both men lay on the mat. Buster gasps for air while Corey tries to recover the slams. The official begins to count when neither man stirs.

Sanders waits until Bradley is back up to come in and hit his opponent with a series of quick punches that pushes Buster back against the ropes. Once there Corey delivers a huge kick that drops Buster over the ropes. Sanders tries to follow but the ref orders him to wait then begins to count.

Buster starts to get up at four and slowly rolls back into the ring. Sanders hurries over and lifts Buster back up and then drops him again with a snap suplex. Corey picks Bradley up once more and then flings him into the corner, rushing in the hit a corner clothesline. Next Sanders begins to launch a flurry of punches and kicks, ending in an Alpha 7 super kick.

Buster only stays standing because of the ropes and slumps in the corner. Corey lifts the bigger man up onto his shoulder and puts him on the top turnbuckle, standing on the second turnbuckle and launches more punches.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Hachirou Eto

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Hachiro Eto and Tiami Erickson state daggers into one another as they wait for the bell to ring. As soon as it does Tiami rushes at the larger man as if she intends to rush right into him. Hachiro sets himself and prepares to grab hold of his opponent when Erickson surprises him by dropping down and sliding between his legs. The ref headed Devil spins and kicks hard into both knees, dropping Eto to the mat. Ti then quickly gets back to her feet and hits the ropes, leaping up to perform a dropkick into the face of Hachiro as he is trying to stand.

Tiami lets Eto get to his feet before launching a hard kick to his stomach. Hachiro simply glares at his foe and slaps his defined abs, challenging her to kick him again. Tiami does and lands it with a loud thud heard throughout the arena. Eto again slaps his rock hard stomach and waves her to try again. Erickson comes in for a third kick but before she hits she suddenly changes angles to slam her foot across Eto’s jaw line. Hachiro staggers back but doesn’t fall.

Tiami runs to hit the ropes and rebounds to rush back at her foe. Hachiro surprises Tiami with a sudden burst of speed he springs forward and drops Erickson with a massive clothesline. Eto walks over to his opponent and kicks her hard in the side, forcing Tiami to roll over. Eto then places a massive foot on her back and steps over causing Erickson to cry out in pain. The crowd boos at the showing but this only encourages Hachiro to do it again, this time standing on one leg and flexing his muscles as he puts his weight down on the helpless devil.

Finally Eto steps off and then picks Ti up by the hair, dragging her around the ring. Erickson flails and trys to escape but the grip of Hachiro is to strong and he continues to pull his opponent around. Only the refs count of four stops Tiami’s torture.

Eto then turns and flattens Erickson with another big shot. He lifts her up again only to drop her once more. Eto then flings Tiami into the ropes and pops her up for his finishing slam. As Tiami comes down however she adjusts her trajectory and kicks her legs out. The huge dropkick drives Eto into the corner where Tiami charges in to hit Eto with the shining wizard. Erickson then climbs the ropes and dives off to land an elbow drop on the prone Hachiro.

Tiami gets back up and lifts Eto up into a reverse DDT position. Before she can finish him off, however, Marcus Levine walks out onto the ramp, catching her attention. Ti looks to the smug Levine and then points to Hachiro then back to Marcus.

The distraction was short but all Eto needed. He spins out of the position and grabs Tiami’s hand, pulling her into a short arm clothesline. Hachiro picks his opponent back up only to fling her into the ropes and again pop her up, this time finishing the devastating slam before going for the pin.

–HACHIROU ETO—

Eto stands in victory and prepares to leave only to be stopped by Levine, who points to Tiami and nods. Eto turns and picks her back up, popping her up once more to drive her down again. Levine shakes his head and Hachiro once more picks Erickson up to hit her with another powerful slam.

The official continues calling for the bell but Marcus and Hachiro don’t seem to care. Levine points to the floor outside the ring. Eto lifts Tiami up over his head and throws her outside the ring like a pile of laundry. Hachiro and Marcus then walk together and exit the ring, leaving Tiami in a heap on the ground.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Lucilla vs. James Calhoun
Posted Image
(Referee: Claudia Morello)

It’s clobberin’ time! James Calhoun and Lucilla return to the ring as the latter seeks to defend her family name against the man who has targeted her sister, General Manager Lara Pegorino. As the bell rings, Lucilla immediately starts kicking away at Calhoun’s quads, but the cowboy seems mostly unfazed as he seems to shrug off the kicks and reverses with an Irish Whip into the corner. Lucilla lands hard back-first, and Calhoun comes running in with a vicious clothesline. However Lucilla ducks and Calhoun hits the turnbuckles chest-first, bouncing off of them. Lucilla rolls him up from behind!

ONE!

Th- Calhoun kicks out! He immediately gets back on his feet, as does Lucilla but this time Calhoun’s clothesline does connect, hitting her with such devastating impact it turns her inside out. Calhoun grabs her by the hair and lifts her up to his shoulders, nailing her with a running powerslam. He continues to stomp away at Lucilla before he hits running legdrop. He goes for another cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

Lucilla kicks out. He once again grabs Lucilla’s hair, and Irish Whips her again, but Lucilla runs up the turnbuckles and hits Calhoun with a Whisper in the Wind! Calhoun gets back on his feet almost instantaneously though, but Lucilla levels him with a dropsault that sends him against the ropes and Lucilla immediately clothesline him to the outside!
Wasting no time, Lucilla goes to the top rope, waiting the right time to strike. As soon as Calhoun is within range, she moonsaults off of the top turnbuckle! She hits Calhoun… But he snatches her out of the air! With Lucilla on his shoulder, he charges at the ringside barricade, and bulldozes Lucilla right through it! The crowd gasps, as both competitors are down! The referee starts the count…

NINE…
Lucilla is forced to release and Calhoun rushes at the ring.
TEN!
Too late! The bell rings, and Calhoun steps before sliding in the ring, realizing what just happened and he turns around again, fully well realizing what Lucilla just did. The Sicilian babe rises back to her feet, smiling at Calhoun who is none too pleased.

DOUBLE COUNT-OUT

He turns around , focusing his attention back on Lucilla, and snarls, charging at her. But she reverses it into a scoopslam onto the nearest chair, which is luckily left unoccupied. Calhoun crashes through it, but Lucilla immediately mounts him and starts throwing punches as it turns into a full-out brawl! Calhoun and Lucilla go at it throughout the entire ringside area until the security tries to break them up… and fails!

More crew rushes out to ringside to break them up, fearing the safety of the surrounding fans, and eventually it takes nearly a dozen guards apiece to get them to split.

Main Event – Single’s Match
Samuel Kelly vs. Karma Tenzin

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Sam Kelly has a massive opportunity tonight, and it seems like he’s more than eager to take it. As the bell rings he jumps right out of the gate, but Karma is on high alert. He ducks and dodges any punch Sam tries to throw at him and when the younger Kelly goes for a grapple, he quickly reverses it into a headlock and grinds Sam down to a halt, taking any kind of momentum or speed out of his offense.

Sam tries to wrestle free by unleashing a flurry of elbow strikes and closed fist punches on Tenzin’s gut, forcing the release of even the Buddhist’s renowned iron grip. He shoves Tenzin into the ropes by the Bhutanese Beast ducks underneath the ensuing clothesline and immediately locks him into an abdominal stretch from behind, once again slowing him down to a crawl.

Trying to wriggle free but largely unsuccessful, Tenzin applies lots of pressure to Kelly’s abdominal area, and it’s not until Sam manages to get a foot free that he can get enough leverage to escape. Kelly seems frustrated at not being able to get any offense in. He rolls out of the ring, but Tenzin is in pursuit. Kelly rounds the cornerpost with Tenzin on his tail, slides back in the ring and runs the ropes as Tenzin slides back in too. Sam tries to go for a big boot on Tenzin but the Buddhist ducks and rolls through, grabbing Kelly’s tights in the mean time and rolling him up into a pin!

ONE!

TWO!!

Sam kicks out! He seems furious, and as they both get up, he unleashes one strike that Tenzin could never possibly block! Low Blow, right in plain sight of the referee! Chuck Aitken has no choice but to call for the bell under the crowd’s boos!

WINNER, BY DQ at 03:05
–KARMA TENZIN–

As Tenzin crumples to the mat, Kelly grins. He grabs Tenzin by the scruff of the neck and dumps him over the top rope to the outside, before whipping him into the announce table. The Bhutanese Beast is still clutching his groin as Sam slams his head into the table over and over and over. As Kelly then goes to grab a chair, Motörhead’s “March Ör Die” starts to play. The Armenian Beast rushes out to help his beastly comrade despite what appeared to be a few differences in opinion in recent weeks. He rushes down the ramp and runs around the ring, looking to hit Kelly with running axe handle, but Kelly hops the barricade and flees! Still, he leaves with a grin on his face as the show comes to a close. He may not have won tonight, but he definitely leaves as the moral victor, with the Canadian Champion staring him down.

Over the Top switches to bi-weekly

News & Rumors

Dearest friends, roster members, UWE family

As some of you may know, in November last year Nate, the original founder of Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment in 2004, had the idea to go for another run. Full of enthusiasm he rebuilt the site, did the appropriate world-building and started rounding up members both old and new.

Five old-timers, Nate, Brandon, Marc, Ed and myself all were back on board, determined to make this run one of the UWE’s best to date, and boy we sure gave it our all to make it so. A weekly show, called Over the Top, was going to be our flagship, and we’ve been running strong ever since, and continue to do so to this day thanks to a passionate community and our ability to put out a strong product week in, week out.

Unfortunately, real life happens, and some of us have had to wave UWE goodbye, at least for now, to pursue real life goals. Right now, our staff is temporarily down to 2 people, and without the addition of Gareth we would never be where we are at this point.

While we remain dedicated, the toll of putting up a weekly show while being understaffed has become big indeed, and I’m not exaggerating when I say it’s starting to affect both my personal and professional life. Being understaffed, we have had to put quite a few projects on hold, and while OTT continues to run on a weekly basis, the work that comes with it has forced us to sacrifice on other aspects that make a fed so great.

It is therefore that the UWE Staff has decided to turn Over the Top into a bi-weekly show to ease the pressure a bit as we seek to both add to the staff and make improvements on other fronts.  Stuff that we don’t have time for right now, as Over the Top continues to drain all of our time.

What does this mean, practically, for you, the roleplayer?

  • A bi-weekly show of Over the Top, which airs on Tuesdays
  • A soft deadline in place to keep you invested throughout every cycle, which will be placed exactly one week before the show
  • The ability to delve deeper into your characers as you have more time to write them
  • The ability to better explore multiple characters, as many of you are known to do, a fact we love and appreciate

We think that tjis (temporary) solution is the best thing for all parties involved going forward, as we can focus more on the product as a whole. We hope you understand, and that nobody is too diappointed by this decision. Yes, stories will take slightly longer to develop, but we can also give them more depth.

If anybody has any questions, our forums are open and any member of staff is more than willing to answer any questions you might have. Drop a PM, give us a shout in the shoutbox. We’re there, and we always will be.

Sincerely

UWE

Over the TOP XXX was a massive success, and it provided some shocking moments, perhaps none more so than when Michael Kelly viciously assaulted Ruby, leaving the tiny Canadian in a heap before Torment came to her rescue. This week, live from the UWE Studio’s, Ruby and her good friends Josiah will attempt to get some payback after Kelly’s heinous actions, as they face hil and his little brother Samuel, who also left quite the impression.
Other than that, Tiami Erickson continues her quest against the Empire as she faces Shawn Lowery. The Dogs of War and New Found Attitude go head to head again. And Karma Tenzin will

Show Opener – Single’s Match
Benjamin Breeches vs. Hachirou Eto
Posted Image
(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Benjamin Breeches was eager to take his shot at handing Hachiro Eto his first UWE loss. As soon as the bell rang Breeches rushes in and delivers a stiff shot to Eto that turns his head from the impact. Hachiro quickly whips his head back with an angry look plastered across his face at the man who just struck him. Benjamin looks surprised and maybe even a little scared at the reaction. Breeches fires again hitting Eto with punch after punch that seemingly have no effect. Finally Hachiro reacts, grabbing Breeches hand in mid punch and squeezing down on it until the shocked Benjamin falls to his knees in pain.

Hachiro drives a powerful fist down onto his helpless foe and knocks Benjamin senseless. Two picks his opponent back up just to stop him once more with a huge clothesline. Benjamin tries to pop back up but a swift kick from Eto had him flipping back down.

Hachiro lifts Benjamin back up and tosses him against the ropes. When Breeches returns he is popped up into the air before being driven down by a powerslam. Eto stands and covers with one foot.

Match Two – Single’s Match
David Stone vs. Jared Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Jared Oliver walked down the entrance ramp as the fans cheered for the dog of War. That cheering soon turned to booing however as Maddogg and David Stone rushed out behind Jared in hopes of blind siding him. Stone manages to hit Oliver with a hard clothesline that dropped him onto the ramp but to New Found Attitudes surprise Danny Oliver leapt from the crowd to help his brother.

Danny charged in and hit both Maddogg and Stone with a double clothesline that sent the unprepared and shocked men down. Jared quickly gets back to his feet as Stone and Maddogg start to get up as well. Danny runs ahead and spears Mike against the barricade and both men begin exchanging punches. Jared throws hard punches at the recovering Stone before whipping him into the opposite side Barricade and then clothesline him, sending both men into the crowd.

Stone and Jared brawl through the screaming fans as the cameras try to follow. Glimpses of Jared and David exchanging punches and kicks as they brawl up and then back down the stairs in the arenas seating. The cameramen try to follow but are cut off by fans who are likewise trying to push in and see the fight. People can’t be sure but it looks as if both men tumble down the stairs together.

Meanwhile Maddogg and Danny continue to thrive hard punches and battle their way back towards the locker room. Suddenly David Stone is seen tumbling back over the barricade, followed by Jared Oliver who falls over to the ground. David and Jared begin to get back to their feet and exchange more punches from their knees.

Stone begins to get an advantage and stands up, taking a few steps back and charging Jared. The elder Oliver drops down and trips Stone, sending him face first into the steel ring post. Jared gets back up and pulls Stone to his feet, rolling him into the ring. Jared crawls into the ring after and the bell finally rings. The Dog of War flops down and covers David with an arm.

ONE!

THREE!!!

WINNER, by pinfall at 03:53
–JARED OLIVER–

In a short but brutal brawl that leaves both David and Jared exhausted Jared Oliver is declared the winner.

Match Three – Tag Team Match
The Hendrix Brothers vs. The Menagerie

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

As soon as it’s time to decide who gets to start the match off, Karma Tenzin makes no secret of it that he will kick things off. He takes center stage against Joey Hendrix, and as soon as the bell rings, the Bhutanese Beast doesn’t do what he usually does. While Joey had undoubtedly prepared for slow, methodical breakdowns, Karma bowls him over, fully utilizing every bit of body mass he has. Joey is slammed into the canvas, and Tenzin is immediately down on him to ground and pound.
Tenzin absolutely clobbers Joey, showing unusual and uncharacteristic rage, with Claudia Morello making sure nothing illegal is going on. Joey throws up his arms eventually, and manages to block the brunt of most of Tenzin’s strikes. Joey finds an opening and manages to grab Tenzin by the throat, reversing the mount, and starts unleashing on Tenzin as well. Joey eventually dismounts, and waits for Tenzin to get back. After a while, Tenzin does, and Joey nails him with a big boot.

Joey goes to his corner and tags in Chris, who hops on the top turnbuckle and immediately comes flying in with a diving headbutt! Fall of the Romans! But Tenzin does brilliantly to roll out of the way and immediately lock in a rear naked choke on Chris. Joey sees what is going on and runs in to stop it, but Bestia is on him. The hairy beast springboards from his own corner all the way across and hits a hurricanrana on Joey that sends him out of the ring, leaving Karma alone in the ring with Chris. Chris frantically tries to get away, but Tenzin’s grip is strong and if not for Chris being lucky that his leg was already positioned relatively close near the rope, he would never have been able to reach it before passing out.
Claudia counts to 4, and Tenzin breaks up at the very last second, again atypical of usually so sportsmanlike Bhutanese. However, he has Chris where he wants him, with the Imperial’s lights now flickering after the chokehold. Karma grabs him by the ankle and drags him to his corner where the Costa Rican Beast is waiting. The other Beast tags himself in and springboards off the top rope with a 450 splash. Bestia goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

Chris kicks out! Bestia is right back up, springboards again and hits Chris with a moonsault… but the Imperial gets his knees up! Diego clutches his chest where the knees hit, and Chris starts crawling towards his own corner, grateful for the distraction. But before he is even halfway across the ring, Diego tags himself out again and Tenzin is back in! With only fingertips away, Chris is once again dragged to the middle of the ring, and Karma wraps his arms around his waist before nailing him with a wheelbarrow suplex. Chris’ head is slammed into the mat, and Karma goes for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!!

Chris kicks out. Tenzin wants to apply another rear naked choke, but Chris hits him with a cleverly disguised thumb to the eye. Tenzin flinches backwards and Chris takes advantage to get back to his corner and tag Joey in!
Joey runs in and hits Karma with an enzuiguiri that levels the Beast. He follows it up by locking in a Boston Crab! Tenzin is twisted into an unnatural shape and this time it’s Bestia who rushes in to help. But before he can break up the submission, Joey releases it and counters Diego with a snap powerslam. But with Joey’s back turned, Karma rolls up his opponent from behind.

ONE!

TWO!!

Joey kicks out!

Both get back up to their feet but Joey is faster and more agile than Karma. The Imperial is already back to his feet before Tenzin has gotten back to a vertical base a kicks the Bhutanese Beast’s head in with a well-aimed buzzsaw kick! Tenzin collapses and Joey goes for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!!

Bestia breaks it up! Morello tries to regain control over the match and forces Diego out of the ring, but as she does so, Chris slides in and The Empire double team the Beast. Joey grabs Tenzin in a wheelbarrow hold and Chris comes in with a facebuster to complete ‘Dangerous Circumstances’! Tenzin is down and out! Chris slides back out of the ring and Joey covers the Bhutanese Beast as Morello finally regains her attention, having forced Diego out of the ring. It takes her a few seconds to slide in to count the pin..

ONE!

TWO!!

THR-Tenzin kicks out in the nick of time! The crowd cheer as they see one of their favorites kick out of such a devastating move, and Joey recoils, his mouth agape in amazement at the Beast’s toughness. He sits down on the canvas for a while, but just stares at Tenzin as if he’s from another planet. But when he goes back on the offensive, the Bhutanese cleverly manages to trap him with an inside cradle!

ONE!

TWO!!

Joey kicks out! The Imperial gets back to his knees, but Tenzin is lightning fast and back on his case, and manages to grab him from behind, locking in the Enlightenment! The crowd cheer even louder as Joey quickly starts to fade. However, Chris sees what’s up and comes in to make the save.
But is met with a springboard hurricanrana from the Costa Rican Beast that sends him out of the ring! Tenzin manages to keep the Enlightenment in, and as Joey goes limp, Morello takes his arm only to see that she gets no physical response at all. She calls for the bell!

WINNERS, by referee stoppage at 09:46
–THE MENAGERIE–

Tenzin keeps the Enlightenment locked in a little while longer, just to get some more payback for the Empire’s attack on CJ Kim. But when Bestia gets back in the ring to have his hand raised, Karma releases it. The Costa Rican Beast seems pretty pleased, probably because he knows there is a big paycheck coming his way.

Match Four – Single’s Match
Shawn Lowery vs. Tiami Erickson

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

As soon as the bell rings, Lowery explodes out of his stance with a jumping forearm shot that sends Tiami reeling. Tiami, on a quest to eliminate the Empire, is driven back into the ropes and bounces off of them, and is hit with a belly to belly suplex on the rebound. Lowery looks to make quick work of her, as he goes in for the pin.

ONE!

TW-Tiami kicks out! It’ll take more than that to keep her down for the count. Tiami tries to scramble to her feet, but Lowery has the clear advantage, as he lures her into a T-Bone stance as she gets up, wanting to send her flying. But Tiami blocks it by wrapping her foot around Lowery’s ankle and uses her wrists to clobber on his ears, forcing the release. As soon as she is let go, she twirls and nails Lowery with a spinning heel kick that knocks the spit out of his mouth and nearly into the front row! The crowd cringe as they hear the smacking impact. Lowery wasn’t brought down though, but he is reeling, and Tiami finished the takedown with a clothesline, immediately following that up with a couple of well-aimed stomps to the head.

The Badd Breed representative takes a couple of steps back. She waits for Lowery to get back to his knees, and as he does she runs in to hit the Ice Cold Truth! But Lowery rolls out of the ring, and escapes the Shining Wizard! Tiami goes in immediate pursuit though, making sure not let let Lowery ctach his breath. But LeVine’s stablemate saw it coming and immediately dropkicks her as she exits the squared circle, sending her spine-first against the ring apron. Tiami grunts in pain and falls down to her knees. Lowery is right on the money, and he hits her with “Daydreaming”! Tiami falls down to the ground, and Shawn rolls back in the ring, motioning at Miner to start counting her out.

ONE.

Tiami starts to budge. Lowery comes up at Miner, telling him to count faster!

Tiami gets back to her knees. The crowd screams at her, telling her to get back into the ring as soon as possible. She looks dazed though.

SEVEN…….

Tiami turns around, noticing Miner counting, realizing what is up and moves towards the ring as fast as she can!

NINE………
She slides back in! But as soon as she does, Lowery drops a knee on the back of her head! He then goes down and viciously starts clobbering away at her neck and the back of her head. Fists, forearms and even a headbutt or two. Tiami clutches her neck, trying to protect it. Lowery drags her to the middle of the ring, and grabs the arm she was using to protect herself, locking in a fujiwara armbar! Tiami screams in pain, and tries to get to the nearest rope, but Lowery has it locked in tight! She tries to use her feet and legs to shuffle towards the bottom rope. After a good few moments of agony, she manages to shuffle near the ropes enough to put her big toe on the bottom rope, forcing the break at the count of 4.
Lowery releases, and Tiami immediately clutches her arm. Lowery is right back on her case however. He helps her up and Irish Whips her back-first into the corner. He rushes in to spear her, but Tiami jumps up, dodging it and sitting on the top turnbuckle as Lowery runs through, his shoulder hitting the steel ringpost through the ropes. Tiami rolls off the top turnbuckle, grabbing lowery’s thigh and rolling him up in one smooth motion.

ONE!

TWO!!

Lowery kicks out! But there is a lot of damage done to him as he clutches his shoulder in pain. Tiami gets up, and so does Lowery put the pain is blinding him and he doesn’t see her as she runs the ropes…

DEAD AS ICE!!!

She immediately goes for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

She did it! Miner immediately calls for the bell.

WINNER, by pinfall at 07:26
–TIAMI ERICKSON–

Tiami, clutching her bad arm, is declared the winner, giving her another victory over the Empire, as her quest to bring their stable down continues in positive fashion. The camera cuts backstage to Marcus LeVine standing backstage with Cassie Sykes, the Hendirx Brothers and Hachirou Eto, her opponent for next week, looking none too pleased.

Main Event – Tag Team Match
Ruby & Josiah Turnbow vs. Michael & Samuel Kelly

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The match kicked off with Josiah and Michael Kelly in the middle of the ring. But as soon as Chuck Aitken calls for the bell, it turns out it isn’t much of a match, rather than a full-out brawl. Swinging fists at each other with seemingly no end in sight, it’s Michael Kelly who proves himself the superior striker, forcing Turnbow back against the ropes. Josiah manages to push Kelly away, and as the Chosen One rushes back in, TUrnbow ducks, dragging down the rope and Michael stumbles over the top rope to the outside.
Josiah runs the ropes and wants to take a dive to the outside, but…
*THWACK!*
Samuel Kelly runs along the apron and elbows Josiah in the face! TUrnbow falls to the mat and Michael grabs his ankle, dragging him out of the ring. He Irish Whips him into the nearest announce table, apparently not giving a damn about trying to finish this match the right way. Sam stays in his own corner on the apron, grinning and not interfering. Michael starts to slam Josiah’s face into the table until Josiah blocks it. He elbows Kelly in the gut and knees him in the face. He then springboards off the table and nails Kelly with a hurricanrana!

Josiah quickly rolls in and out of the ring to break up the count, while Ruby continues to remain vigilant in her own corner. As Josiah goes back on the offensive, Kelly hits him with a drop toe-hold that sends him onto the ringside barricade gut-first. Kelly gets up, and deadlifts Jos up, bringing him back over to the announce table and throws him on top, before grabbing the fold-up chair from underneath Sylvie Rose’s bum as the lovely ring announcer falls down to the ground, eliciting massive boos from the crowd.
That’s it for Ruby! She hops off her apron and runs over to save her tag team partner who is set to take a steel chair beating, but as the crowd scream as she runs in, Kelly turns around and…
***THWACK TIMES TWO!!!***

Kelly slams the chair on her skull, sending her down to the ground, before he throws the chair to the side. Chuck Aitken is furious and calls for the bell, calling the DQ.

–RUBY & JOSIAH TURNBOW–

As the bell rings and the crowd boo’s, Michael Kelly doesn’t really seem to care. He shakes his head and walks off, dusting his hands off and Sam Kelly still stands on the apron, frowning but also smirking. What does this mean for the future? Is this over, or is there more to come?

Only one way to find out!

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Hachirou Eto looks to continue his dominant run here in UWE as he faces another local talent. After running down Brawny Crookshanks last week, he will be facing local guy Benjamin Breeches, who hopes to defeat Eto and kickstart his own career.
Though we advise him not to get his hopes up.

Match Two – Single’s Match
David Stone vs. Jared Oliver

(Referee: Corey Miner)

New Found Attitude and the Dogs of War go at it again. Last week, Maddogg got one over on Danny Oliver. Can Stone follow his legendary tag team partner’s example and beat Jared Oliver, or will the Dogs bite back?

Match Three – Tag Team Match
The Hendrix Brothers vs. The Menagerie

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

It’s not often the term ‘payback’ is used in the same sentence as Karma Tenzin, but after the Hendrix Brothers superkicked his girlfriend CJ Kim, the Bhutanese Beast feels the need to defend her honor. Last week he helped the Nashville Starlets get one over on the Hendrixes. Can he repeat the same feat at OTT XXXI? He’ll get some beastly and unexpected help from ‘Bestia’, the Costa Rican Beast. Can they coexist?

Match Four – Single’s Match
Shawn Lowery vs. Tiami Erickson

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Tiami continues her quest against The Empire! Last week she beat Cassie Sykes, the fiancée of her arch nemesis Marcus LeVine. Shawn Lowery will seek to halt her momentum this week, but Tiami seems to have renewed focus after a spell on the sidelines following Anything Goes. This one could get ugly!

Main Event – Tag Team Match
Ruby & Josiah Turnbow vs. Michael & Samuel Kelly

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Last week had a shocking conclusion: Michael Kelly brutally attacked Ruby in an assault that left all of Vancouver either furious or speechless. If not for Torment, Ruby might very well have ended up on the injured reserve list. Thankfully, Josiah and his buddies were there to make the save. This week, the Michael Kelly will seek to put down the ‘Hobbit’ and her friends once and for all, and has enlisted the help of his younger brother Samuel, who scored a victory over one of Torment’s own last week. It’s a main event with explosive potential! Don’t miss this!
