Board member steps down

News & Rumors

The UWE blog staff have been informed that Des Taylor has stepped down from her position on the board of directors. The reason Des stepped down is because she failed to attend several important meetings since UWE returned to television this summer.

Des Taylor used to be known as Destiny Manning; the owner and promoter of the UWE. However, she changed her name after getting married in 2010. Des was merely a board member and therefore wasn’t a stakeholder in the company. It is unknown if the empty board position will be filled or not.

Breaking News: UWE severs ties with Sports Entertainment Channel

News & Rumors

Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment has severed ties with the Sports Entertainment Channel. The UWE returned to television in May for the tenth anniversary special and up until now was airing weekly shows. The UWE will no longer continue to air weekly episodes of the UWE Live tour, but will function as a regional federation.

The UWE will continue to operate as a wrestling organization in the region of North America. Fans of the UWE can expect the wrestling mainstay to feature bi-weekly live events in Canada, the USA and Mexico.

The UWE Board of Directors offers no comments at this time, but indicates that they are presently looking for another television deal in lieu of the present situation.

1. Diamond Diva debuts on top; reigns over Chaos
Diva defeated Chaos in a fast match=up. There was little, actually there was no effort on behalf of Chaos. Thus, the match was entertaining because Diva got the last laugh against the misogynistic and sexist Chaos. What a finish, with the sunset flip bomb!

2. The Special Forces return to victory and in-ring duty post Battleground tour
Craven and Natasha Lynx were unsuccessful in their match against the Special Forces. It was a decent tag match and the crowd was happy to see the Special Forces come out on top after Major Payne used the boot camp to take out Craven. The Special Forces are a highly entertaining and competitive unit.

3. Lily Jackson welcomes Addison Hart back with a bang
Addison Hart made a return to UWE, the last time she appeared was during the Summer Heat tour. Lily competed on the battle fields and welcomed Addison back in a proper fashion. Ah, just like the old days. The match ended with a Chick Kick.

4. World Championship match is one for the books
Asylum was unable to take the UWE World Championship away from the Armenian Beast on two occasions. The two out of three falls match saw the Beast get awarded a win after Asylum dominated him with strikes. Asylum got disqualified as a consequence. Asylum was also able to score a pin, but the Beast got the final pin. Therefore, the title is still intact around the Beast’s waist.

That’s all she wrote!

UWE Insider: Hot Topics # 8

Hot Topics

How you doing?

I’m Gwendy with Hot Topics. Did catch the pay-per view? I did and I got an opinion. What’s new!

So, the Rising Star Championship match didn’t happen. I’m a tad disappointed with this division. It’s like, this match had so much promise, but it didn’t go anywhere. Then, you have the follow up show and poof… No sign of the belt anywhere. Is the UWE scrapping the belt? That’s just a question I got, there’s no rumours or anything, just pure speculation. And dirt. Lot’s and lot’s of dirt, because this is Hot Topics and we’re moving along.

Craven beat Billsta at the pay-per view in the first match of the night. It was a decent match. I thought Billsta had it won, but Craven got the win this time. Billsta Anderson and Lily haven’t been making many appearances together, but I hope they do soon. They have great chemistry.

Speaking of Lily, Lily Jackson defeats Serah Feena at the pay-per view. It was your typical divas match and Lily was able to come out on top. Lily Jackson is a wonderful woman. I admire her talent and appreciate her on the roster. But the ladies of UWE need something to do. Now, Caroline was talking up a Women’s belt. Note: Women’s and not Diva’s. What’s the big deal in the name anyway? Diva is empowering. In my opinion! I think the UWE just needs to introduce this belt for the sake of Lily. C’mon guys.

Diamond Diva is finally making her debut. This excites me. She is going to debut against a mystery opponent. Mystery opponents are always the best, but sometimes they’re real shockers if you know what I mean. Diamond Diva, we’ll be waiting for your debut.

The Armenian Beast and Asylum double pinned Chaos. This is a flash back to back in the day when Chaos and Danger got a double victory over the Deadman. Y’all remember that, right? Well, this is just a throw back to that. I’m sure of it! The outcome shocked me… I didn’t expect it, but it was one heck of a match and the guys pulled it off.

The Armenian Beast and Asylum now have a rematch for the World title at a UWE live event. Asylum is turning over a new leaf and we’re seeing a new side of him. I think he’s going to come after the Armenian Beast in full force and we get to watch… lucky us!

I’ll have my popcorn and I’ll be watching.

This is all the time I got now. Thank you for reading.

Power Rankings: Post-Gettysburg Edition

Power Rankings

One half of the rankings didn’t see any shifts at all, but the other half saw witness to some shake ups.

1. The Armenian Beast (N/A) – After September to Remember, the Beast walked away with the belt as a fighting champion. For this, he remains at number one.

2. Asylum (N/A) – Asylum is at number two, representing himself, in a new breakthrough. Asylum is now chasing the Armenian Beast for the UWE World Championship and is quite the contender.

3. Angels and Demons (N/A) – Billsta came up short at the pay-per view, but Lily picked up a victory. For that, Angels and Demons keeps their spot at number three due to their record as a tag team.

4. Rhett Vipers (N/A) – The Rhett Vipers, along with several others, have been inactive and next week could be in danger of falling down the rankings. For the time being, they remain at number four. Their in-ring record speaks for itself.

5. Amy Gobraless (N/A) – The Rising Star Champion was unable to get her title match off of the ground at the pay-per view. For that, she stays at number five.

6. Chaos (N/A) – Chaos lost a major match at the pay-per view and now stays at number six. Chaos is in danger of falling down the rankings if he continues to lose match after match.

7. Craven (10) – Craven broke onto the rankings last week. At the pay-per view he won a match and because of that he rises up to number seven.

8. Special Forces (N/A) – The Special Forces sit at number eight for now. They compete this week against Craven and Natasha Lynx. The impending result of that match could very well shake up the rankings next week.

9. Tyler Reeves (7) – Reeves falls back due to inactivity.

10. Serah Feena (9) – A loss pushes Serah back to number ten. After a debut on the rankings, Serah may fall off the radar in the upcoming week with several familiar faces making returns.

Check out the rankings next week. Addison Hart, Mario Valentino and Natasha Lynx compete against Power Rankings mainstays Lily Anderson, Serah Feena and the Special Forces. The rankings are bound to shift.
