Fifteen shows in a row!

Location:
UWE Studios, Vancouver

Fifteen shows in a row is pretty… pretty good! With XV being sort of a landmark show, it’s easy to see why UWE has such a rabid and loyal following. And once again, the show about to come is sure to set the UWE Studio’s in Vancouver on fire! With Lucilla & Ruby teaming for the second time, they’ll be looking to gather some steam as a ‘married’ couple. JTX will take on the oldest of the Moore brothers, Wülf Erikson takes on Corporal Punishment in a potentially show-stealing match, and David Stone will face off against the man who has had it out for one of his best friends: Ronnie Cage.
Speaking of the Ultimate Wrestling Champion, he will be facing the Irradiated Imbecile, the Massive Moron, and champion of all Canadia: The Armenian Beast! The only fitting way to close a show such as this, is by having the two championship holders face off. It’s champion vs. champion. And it’s gonna tear the house down.

What’s more: before the first match, it is announced by General Manager Lara Pegorino that due to JJ Hemphill’s blatant refereeing mistakes last week during JTX vs. Karma Tenzin, he was sent away on a refereeing class as ‘punishment’. Instead, they are going to give Claudia Morello a try-out match here in UWE, thus making her the very first female referee in UWE. The long-legged raven-haired ref from Jersey has years of experience working the independent circuit, and has officially been given the green light for a step up the ladder.

Show Opener – Tag Team Match
Lucilla & Ruby vs. Nidia Vladiwebski & Mike Manning

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Ruby starts off against Mike Manning, as the tiny Canadian circles the ring before locking up with him in the center. Ruby immediately drives him back into one of the unoccupied corners, before unleashing a cavalcade of kicks upon the Hapless One, leaving him reeling mere seconds into the match already! SH takes a few steps backwards and hits him with a stinger splash, after which he falls down to the mat like a bag of flour.

Ruby frowns, almost as if she feels pity for Mike, and takes a couple of steps backwards, allowing him to get back to his feet. The pity party doesn’t last long though, as she once again rushes in with a dropkick. However, Mike ducks it! And Ruby lands… with her feet on the top turnbuckle, moonsaulting off of it, and hitting Manning straight in the chest. The crowd is amazed by Ruby’s great athletic ability, and watches as she goes for the cover.

1..2..

Nidia charges in, and nails Ruby with a boot to the back of the head, breaking up the pin. Claudia immediately grabs Nidia and forces her back to her own corner, as a dazzled Mike tries to crawl to his feet.
Ruby, unperturbed, takes a few steps back again, and as Mikeis on his knees, she charges in with the Ruby in the Rough! The running kneestrike almost shatters Mike’s skull, as a loud ‘crack’ can be heard. Ruby pouts for a second, and then decides to finish it. She goes back to her own corner and hops on the top turnbuckle, intending to hit her finisher! She leaps!

But as she does so, Lucilla slaps Ruby’s ass, effectively tagging herself in, and as Ruby lands the Ruby-red Death, Claudia doesn’t count the pin as Ruby is no longer the legal woman. Mike wouldn’t have kicked out in a million years, but as Ruby wonders why Claudia isn’t counting, Lucilla gets into the ring, grinning at the easy pickings laid out in front of her by her newly wedded wife.

Claudia signs at Ruby to get out of the ring, as Lucilla grabs Mike by the hair, and pulls him to a vertical basis. With Mike wobbling about on spaghetti legs, Lucilla takes great pleasure in slapping him around for fun, before hoisting him up on her shoulders, and nailing him with the ripgut gutbuster. But rather than go for the pin, Lucilla drags Mike by his feet to the opposite side of the ring, into Nidia’s corner. Lucilla grins, invites Nidia to tag herself in and come face her, but Her Haplessness doesn’t seem to want to get into the ring. As Mike slowly starts to crawl to his feet, he extends his hand at Nidia, to tag himself out. Mere inches away, Nidia suddenly hops fof the apron, and runs away!

Lucilla starts laughing out loud, as the crowd boos Nidia’s cowardice, leaving Mike to his fate like that. Mike looks on in horror, as UWE’s favorite punching bag is now alone in the ring with Lucilla, who is looking to destroy him! When Mike turns around, he is grabbed by Lucilla in her testicular claw, adding his name to those whose balls she has literally held in her hands. He screams out in pain, as Claudia counts to 4, and Lucilla adds more pressure to it with every count, before finally releasing and hitting him with a Kesagiri Chop. She throws Mike to the center of the ring, as Ruby looks on with equal horror.

There are no chants. No cheers. In fact, the arena is almost silent as Lucilla mounts Manning and starts nailing him with closes fists, as the unconscious Mike is left defenseless in the center of the ring, each clubbing blow adding to his misery.

Claudia eventually steps in, and declares the match to be over, as Mike is no longer able to defend himself.

Winners, by referee stoppage at 05:59
–Ruby & Lucilla–

But even as the bell rings, Lucilla doesn’t stop! Not even when Claudia tries to physically get her off of Mike. Ruby gets into the ring, and tackles Lucilla off of the Hapless One. Lucilla rises to her feet, furious with Ruby as she hasn’t yet had her fill on mayhem, but as the two finally exit the ring arguing and screaming at each other, it’s obvious that they’re not quite on the same page yet.

While Mike Manning is receiving medial attention at ringside, Ronnie Cage shows his face, and the Ultimate Wrestling Champion cuts a promo that reignites the crowd

Match Two – Single’s Match
JTX vs. Matt Moore

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

JTX makes his entrance first. As Matt Moore hits the ring, he stands on the apron and declares his victory to the crowd before the match even begins. JTX sees this as an opportunity to get things started early. He bursts forward and clubs Matt off of the apron, sending him to the ringside floor. Corey Miner scolds JTX and tells him to keep it in the ring, but the self-proclaimed new ‘Mr. UWE’ lets it go in one ear and out the other.

JTX exits through the ropes and heads straight for Moore as Corey Miner screams from inside the ring. JTX lifts Matt up…surprise! Matt sends a hard shot to JTX’s ribs! He grabs a hold of his head and sends him careening into the barricade. Matt gets JTX to his feet and slides him into the ring. Moore follows and Corey Miner signals for the bell to finally ring.

Matt heads towards JTX who started crawling to the other side of the ring. He grabs JTX by the hair and it is déjà vu. JTX gets to a knee and lays a fist right into the midsection of the elder Moore brother. He manages to get more in, though, sending two more strikes! This causes Matt to let go.

JTX keeps it up by coming off the ropes. Big swinging neckbreaker to the bent over Moore! JTX goes for a quick pin, but Matt kicks out at a short one. JTX doesn’t relent. He lays some serious stomps into Matt, followed by a cocky looking elbow drop. Another pin fall attempt.

Matt forces JTX off of him before Corey Miner can even get into position! That surprises JTX just a tad as he decides to wait for Matt to get up now. He calls for him to stand as he backs up into a corner, preparing to run.

Matt reaches a knee and JTX speeds at him. JTX throws a knee…Matt spins out of the way! He takes JTX’s back and lifts him over with a beautiful German Suplex. Matt maintains a bridge and Corey Miner slides in. Now it’s JTX who kicks out at one!

Both men take a minute to rest on the mat, having been in full gear since before the match even officially started. After a quick moment, the competitors begin to stir. They make it to their feet at the same time, staring each other down in the middle of the ring.

JTX attacks first with a fist to the head. Matt responds with a thunderous chop to the chest. JTX responds with a chop of his own! Matt dishes it back with a punch to the noggin! They trade shots like this back and forth for a good solid minute, until both are stumbling and red-chested.

JTX’s last strike sends Matt against the ropes, but Matt gets a sudden jolt of energy! He rebounds and almost decapitates JTX with a European Uppercut! JTX hits the mat and Moore soon follows. They’re really pushing the limits early in this one!

Corey Miner has no choice but to start a count.

1…

2…

3…

4…

Matt begins to reach for the ropes.

5…

6…

7…

Moore pulls himself up as JTX has rolled over to his stomach. The count is broken and Moore heads right for his opponent. He drops a knee onto JTX’s back. And another. Then he flips him over and gets on top of him. He starts raining punches down onto JTX until Corey Miner reaches a four count, just before a disqualification. Matt yells some choice words at JTX. These two really mean business.

Moore gets JTX to his feet and sends him into the nearest turnbuckle. He rushes in with a hard clothesline! After that, Matt grabs a hold of JTX and sends him across the ring into the other corner. Moore rushes full on at his opponent, looking for another clothesline.

JTX drops to the mat and out of the way! Moore crashes into the turnbuckle at full speed, probably caving his chest in. As Matt stumbles backwards, JTX catches him with a dropkick in the back. The dropkick sends Matt back into the turnbuckle he just bounced from.

The Hot Pink Fury of JTX is in full view now as he approaches Matt. JTX sends a barrage of forearm’s into Matt’s back, keeping him in the corner. He then lifts Moore up and sets him on the turnbuckle. JTX climbs up, looking to attempt a top rope back suplex. He grabs on and tries his damnedest to yank Matt Moore off of the ropes.

Matt hangs on, though, flailing an elbow behind him into JTX’s head. This causes JTX to fall back down to the mat next to the ropes. JTX is in perfect position. Matt turns and notices!

He wastes no time in leaping off of the ropes! Matt flips! Somersault leg drop!

No!

JTX rolled towards the turnbuckle, causing Matt to overshoot him and land right on his ass! Moore rolls around the ring in pain, clutching his backside as JTX hurries to his feet. JTX sends a kick into Matt, stopping his squirming. He then grabs the legs, hooks them in position, and rolls Matt over…

JTX’s version of the Texas Cloverleaf is locked in! The Tampa Cloverleaf! Matt screams in pain as the submission move wrenches on his back and legs. JTX has it locked in deep, but Matt is clawing and persevering! He musters up as much strength as he possibly can to pull himself and JTX…

He does it! Matt Moore grabs the bottom ropes, infuriating JTX. Corey Miner comes to pry JTX off of Matt, but JTX simply lets go, looking to end this match another way. Matt can’t decide whether he should hold his butt, his legs, or his back as he pulls himself up by the ropes.

As Matt gets to his feet, JTX drags him backwards to the center of the ring. He hooks the arms and spins him…JTX drops Matt! Unprettier!

The pink-haired deviant flips Moore onto his back and hooks the leg! Referee Miner slides in and begins his count. One…two…

Matt Moore forces his shoulder off of the mat! Both men are spent. JTX simply rolls off of Matt. That leaves the two superstars laying down in the ring, hoping to conserve enough energy to get back into the fight and put this one away shortly.

At this point, though, the competitors and everyone else in the arena turn their attention to the video screen above the entrance area. Brandon Moore is back!

He appears on the screen and gets everyone to listen with a booming voice. Matt scoots back into a corner and watches as JTX gets to his feet, smirking, approaching the ropes to get as close a view as possible while still staying in the ring.

Brandon explains his absence as JTX mocks him and throws insults towards the video screen. He mentions someone being with him and warns his brother Matt to get away. He says that who he is with is not coming…he’s already here.

The lights immediately go out and the video screen cuts to black. A lifetime seems to pass before they come back on, leaving everyone in suspense. Once the UWE Studios arena is lit back up, the crowd’s reaction says it all.

Matt Moore is suddenly at the top of the entrance ramp, looking down at disbelief. Corey Miner has vanished. And JTX is left staring at his opponent for the evening. JTX slowly begins to turn, positive he knows what’s about to happen. As he turns, his eyes lock with the one, the only…

Brandon Sorrow!

With eyes completely black, a black leather vest, and black leather wrestling tights, Sorrow sends a devilish grin towards JTX. JTX doesn’t know whether he should be worried or excited that Sorrow has returned. It is kind of what he, Asylum, and some others wanted.

Sorrow, like a flash of lightning, strikes JTX with a right hand! Another! And another! This backs JTX against the ropes! Sorrow sends him across the ring with an Irish Whip! As JTX comes back, Sorrow hits him with a hurricanrana!

Sorrow hurriedly mounts JTX and sends more punches down onto his head. Brandon Sorrow then lifts JTX up to his feet by his hair. He grins right at JTX’s face from an uncomfortably close distance. Sorrow hooks the arm and lifts JTX up…

JTX is crunched with a devastating brainbuster! Sorrow wastes no time yet again in transitioning to apply more pain to JTX. He rolls JTX onto his stomach and applies a Rings of Saturn like submission finisher! JTX is out, due to the match he just wrestled and the heavy brainbuster he was hit with. Regardless, Sorrow locks the submission maneuver that he calls the Sing Your Sorrows in tight!

Soon after, referees, road agents, and security alike all zoom passed Matt Moore on the stage. Matt is still looking on stunned as Corey Miner appears, with no recollection of how he was transported away from the ring. As the cavalry sent to stop the assault reaches the ring, Brandon Sorrow lets up on the submission. They surround the ring, pleading for him to stop his attack.

The lights blacken yet again and once they come on, JTX is found on his back in the center of the ring with a black X marked on his forehead with what appears to be ash. Brandon Sorrow is nowhere to be found and Matt Moore is slowly backing through the curtain. Those that have surrounded the ring enter, offering assistance to JTX who is miraculously coming back into consciousness.

Of course, JTX refuses help as they attempt to get him to his feet. The audience is filled with quiet murmurs, speculating about what they just saw and what the future holds. The commentary team is left questioning what they just saw as JTX rolls out himself out of the ring, keeping his independence.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Corporal Punishment vs. Wülf Erikson

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The crowd in attendance, led by the visiting guest stars UWF world champion Josh Kennedy, Finch Maruta, Silas Subhuman and Kenny Sex in the front row, ERUPT as the bell rings and both Corporal Punishment and Wulf Erikson exchange a light-hearted salute, followed by a firm handshake. The fans then readily join in with Wulf’s rhythmic clapping as he and Corporal Punishment circle one another before there is another cheer when the two men lock up in the center of the ring..

Corporal Punishment shrugs off Wulf’s wristlock attempt and pulls him in for a tight headlock.. The veins on Corporal Punishment’s shoulders protrude as Wulf struggles to break free of the hold, only for Punishment to roar and take him down to the mat, locking in a leg scissors which Wulf easily rolls out of, yet Punishment still has a talon grip on his arm, dragging the youngster to his feet as Wulf lets out a cry of exertion..

Punishment has him locked in a tight arm bar and he swings Wulf’s arm around in its socket, which sends Wulf flipping onto his back with momentum and an ‘AWWW!’ from the audience..
There is an instant cheer as Wulf nips back up to his feet, grunts and Corporal Punishment cries out as the arm bar is stiffly reversed, and then there is another roar of appreciation from the crowd as Wulf’s legs wrap around his extended arm, taking him down to the mat into an impromptu victory roll pin for a one count, before Corporal rolls back and both men get back to their feet in a fighting stance – to possibly the biggest ovation of the night!

There is another lock up, with Wulf finding himself in a top wristlock, rapidly being pushed back toward the ropes, before Corporal Punishment sends him to the other side with an irish whip and ducks down as Wulf leapfrogs, then Corporal throws a hard clothesline which Wulf rolls to avoid, then the fans ERUPT as Wulf attempts a springboard hurricanrana only to be met with a VICIOUS standing dropkick, catching him fair in the side of the head and echoing through the arena..

Wulf drops to the mat like the proverbial sack of spuds. The soldier also hits canvas, but nimbly scrambles over and grabs hold of the parkour practitioner’s leg, going for an ankle lock, and managing to do so.

Erikson writhes on the canvas in obvious pain. He lunges forward as he tries to get his hands on the soldier. His hands grip the sides of his head, his face a mask of anguish. The referee says something to him which Wulf shakes off adamantly.

Wulf twists and moves, trying to relieve some of the pressure. Instead of that though he lifts his body off the mat with his hands. He reaches back with one and then the other before pulling himself toward them, trying to force a rope break.

And inch by painful inch, Wulf begins to do just that. In an odd two man crab walk he makes his way closer and closer to the ropes and the break of the hold they promise. He drops to the mat though, looking like the pain is too much. His shoulders lay flat on the mat and the referee drops to begin the count.

1..2..
Wulf lurches up!

Wulf once more uses his arms to drag himself closer. Corporal Punishment can see the destination and tries to use his weight and leverage to prevent the journey, but he can’t get any traction.
Punishment sees how close they are to the ropes and a break of the hold. He plants his booted feet on the canvas and prepares to push himself backward, creating more distance between the duo and the ropes. Somehow, however, Wulf throws one hand back in a desperate attempt to break the hold before it breaks his ankle. Before the corporal can lunge backwards Wulf manages somehow to get hold of the bottom rope. Aitken has no choice but to tell the soldier to let go, which he does.

While Corporal Punishment engages in a discussion with the referee, the crowd is somewhat melancholy as a clearly in pain Wulf clutches at his ankle, trying to rub some feeling back in, and then he makes a poor choice in trying to stand.. But the ankle lock seems to have taken its toll.

Corporal finishes chatting with the referee, and he smiles and crosses his arms in a somewhat smug manner as he watches Wulf try to stand, and it’s an agonizing no-go as he cries out and collapses back down to the mat, only for Punishment to stomp that same tender ankle, causing Wulf to scream in agony..

The referee starts his count…

Wulf has rolls to the outside and collapses next to the barricade, in something resembling the fetal position. The Corporal grins to himself as he shakes his head and he himself leaves the ring..

ONE!!!

TWO!!!!

As the corporal slowly and methodically advances, he hangs back as there is a LOUD cheer from the crowd and a round of laughter as Kenny Sex and Josh Kennedy lean over the barricade and begin emptying the contents of their beer bottles onto Wulf who laughs and instantly starts trying to fend off the beer ‘waterfall’, finally rolling out of the way and getting to a knee with his arms out wide in the direction of his group of buddies as if to say ‘I’m workin’ here!’ while they just CHEER for Wulf as a response.. but that turns to looks of despair as Corporal Punishment comes rushing in with a knee to the side of Wulf’s head. And then CP stares daggers at the group as they boo him!

THREE!!!!! FOUR!!!!! FIVE!!!!

The distraction has given Wulf the chance to use the barricade to help himself up and stagger toward the ring steps, only for the crowd to ROAR as Corporal Punishment comes steaming in with a vicious looking clothesline…yet to the elation of the crowd, Wulf ducks under and The Corporal somehow ends up hooked up over Wulf’s shoulders for a Wit’s End attempt over the stairs!! Wulf shouts out at Kenny in the crowd and sweeps The Corporal’s leg, but only lets out an agonized scream as his ankle gives out, and he also lands HARD knee first on the steps with the weight of Corporal Punishment on top of him..

The grim sounds from the crowd demonstrate their obvious concern for the high flyer. Even CJ and Blake look as if someone kicked their puppy. Darlington is the only one whose face demonstrates some modicum of joy from this turn of events. Well his and Corporal Punishment’s as he is glad to have to some extent grounded the practitioner of parkour.

Punishment hoists himself off the smaller man and to a vertical base before turning and lifting Wulf into his arms. He climbs the ring steps.
Punishment raises Wulf up over his head and then tosses the Neon Knight into the air and over the ropes. He hits with a thud and a whooshing of air. Corporal Punishment grins at his downed opponent, before climbing to the top turnbuckle.

The crowd raises their cheers as if to implore Wulf to recover and defend himself. The smaller man is writhing on the mat, sucking air into his lungs as fast as he can.
Punishment leaps out to hit a splash on his grounded enemy. At the last moment, however, Wulf is able to get his knees up, catching Punishment in the abdomen. There is an audible grunt as the military veteran bounces off of Wulf and ends up prone on the mat as well. Both men are down.

Wulf is the first to stir. Still favoring his ankle, but he manages to right himself. Whether it’s because the pain is subsiding or the adrenaline is flowing is of no concern to him. He stomps the soldier with his bad leg, keeping the good one planted firmly on the canvas. His face is a tortured mask as he stomps the enlisted man several more times to his front row fan club’s delight.

Wulf reaches down and grabs Corporal Punishment, bringing him to his feet. He then makes him eat canvas again by hitting a snap ddt. He rolls the man onto his back and covers him with his body, he makes an attempt to hook the leg, but he has little left in the gas tank.
Aitken drops down for the count.

1..2..

Punishment kicks out! Wulf seems frustrated, but keeps on Punishment, kicking him in the stomach a few times for good measure, then runs to the corner, runs up the turnbuckles and does a phoenix splash, nailing the Corporal with the breathtaking aerial move. However, he grabs his ankle in pain, meaning it takes a couple of moments before he can go for the pin. As he finally goes for it, however, Punishment pulls Wulf into an inside cradle pin!

1..2..

Wulf gets his shoulder up, but this sudden close call gives the army vet a shot in the arm. Both Wulf and the Corporal kip up, and run the ropes, and try to hit each other with a shoulder tackle, but they bump into each other with a loud smack, both of them tired, but refusing to go down! They stare at each other for a few seconds, run the ropes again, and try knocking each other down again, as if their manhood is at stake. But neither man budges, and they do it again. And again. And again. Reeling more and more each time, until finally both men go down at the same time! It is the Corporal who gets back to his feet first though, and grabs Wulf by the dreads, only to lift him up overhead, and into the military press. He walks around with Wulf on his head, who almost looks like a corpse being held up for the crowd to see.

But then Wulf shifts his weight, and falls to the back of the Corporal, managing to roll the Corporal up in one swift motion!

1..2..

Wulf bridges over, and applies more pressure on the pin, as the Corporal struggles to wriggle free and get his shoulder up, but…

3!

Punishment kicks out, but it’s too late, as Aitken’s hand came down before the Corporal kicks out.

Winner, by pinfall at 17:26
–Wülf Erikson–

Both Wülf and Punishment seem stunned, and so does the crowd, but they recognize the monumental effort carried out by both Superstars. Wulf runs out to his friends in the front row as fast as his bad leg will carry him. They celebrate along with him, as a frustrated Corporal Punishment is shaking his head in the ring, visibly upset and frustrated.

Match Four – Single’s Match
James Calhoun vs. David Stone

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

As the bell rings, the crowd starts a ‘Boy named Calhoun’ chant, which visibly upsets the Cowboy, as David Stone looks on with a grin on his face. Entire sections of the crowd then break off into singing the Calhounized version of ‘Boy named Sue’ as Calhoun repeatedly yells at them to shut the hell up. But with Stone egging them on, they grow even louder!

Calhoun is disturbed, and completely distracted, as Stone suddenly rolls him up from behind as he has his back turned to his opponent!

1..2..

Calhoun kicks out! He hurries back to his feet, but as he sees what’s coming, he rolls out of the ring, as Stone was about to hit the Stone Cutter! Calhoun shakes his head, yells at the crowd to shut up one more time, and starts circling the ring, looking for an opening as Stone now has both the physical and the psychological upper hand. He dares Calhoun to get back in the ring, but the Cowboy realizes he’s goading him into a trap, and just keeps circling, but Corey Miner is already at the count of 4.

By the time Calhoun has enough, he climbs the ring steps, and shouts at Miner to keep Stone back. The ref obliges, steps in between the two men, but as soon as Calhoun goes between the top and middle rope, Stone rushes past and knees Calhoun in the face, before grabbing him by the neck and throat, and delivering a suspended DDT!

The canvas rattles, and the crowd cheers as Stone goes for another pinfall attempt.

1…

Calhoun kicks out and shakes his head, as if to indicate that that was never going to put him away. Nevertheless, Stone has the upper hand, and the Hall of Famer lifts Calhoun to his feet, whips him against the ropes and hits the return Calhoun with a spinning spinebuster. Stone gets back to his feet, and climbs the top rope, signaling for a diving elbow, which he hits with perfect precision.
Cover!

1..2…

Calhoun kicks out at two this time, visibly more shaken than before. The crowd is still chanting the Calhounized version of Boy Named Sue, and as Stone lifts Calhoun up to his feet, he hits him with a massive chop to the chest.

“SUE”! the crowd goes, in a high-pitched voice, instead of “WOO!” Calhoun smirks, and returns the favor with a chop of his own, hitting Stone square in the chest.

“BOO!” the crowd goes, in a deep, deep voice. Stone replies with another chop.

SUE! BOO! SUE! BOO! SUEEEE! BOOOO! The crowd is absolutely on fire, as they provide the soundtrack to the epic chopping contest that has ensued in the middle of the ring. Both Stone’s and Calhoun’s chests are showing big, crimson welts from the chops of the other guy, and neither man is willing to quit. After a couple more shots, it’s surprising they actually have any skin and muscle left on their sternums. This is as old school as it gets, two men in a battle of pure toughness. With each chop, the other starts to reel more and more; an inch further with each punishing hit. Stone and Calhoun’s face are one big grimace, in obvious pain as neither of them backs down.

Corey Miner eventually asks both men if they can continue or not, as their chest resemble volcanic craters, rather than actual human meat… unless it had just passed through a meat grinder. Blood is starting to swell up through the welts on both men, and both men’s hands are getting bloody, as with each splattering slap, drops fly all over the ringside area. It’s nasty and grueling to behold, but the crowd is still anticipating each chop with great pleasure, so they can accompany it with the word of their choosing.

But as Miner asks Stone if he’s okay, Miner turns his back to Calhoun, who reaches over Miner’s head, and nails Stone with a poke to the eye! Miner is oblivious to it, being much shorter than the massive Hall of Famer, and as he wonders why Stone is suddenly doubling over grabbing his face, Calhoun charges in with a big boot, finally levelling his opponent. With blood trickling down his chest, Calhoun now finally grins as the crowd is livid, not wanting the chop contest to end. Calhoun responds to their contempt with a fistdrop to Stone, and eventually pulls Stone to a vertical basis, before shoving him against the ropes and hitting him with a scoopslam on the return. He goes for the cover!

1..2..

Stone puts his foot on the bottom rope, saving himself some energy by not having to kick out. But it’s obvious both Calhoun and Stone are having difficulty breathing. The welts on their chest have turned into a dark shade of crimson with blue edges, and it’s not looking particularly healthy. As Calhoun gets Stone back to his feet, he goes for a straight right, but Stone blocks it, and nails Calhoun with one of his own! And another one, and another one! The cowboy is reeling, and whips him into the ropes, and hits him with a spear on the return! Both men are now down, but Stone is quick to get back to his feet, picks up Calhoun, and hits him with a fall away slam. Calhoun flies so far that the momentum makes him roll through the bottom rope in the corner, hitting his spine against the ringpost.

The cowboy tries to get out of this predicament as quickly as possible, but as he rolls back from underneath the turnbuckles, he is immediately hit with a legdrop by Stone, who then grabs Calhoun, and deadlifts him, turning it into a release German suplex! Stone has the match under control it seems, but as he walks back over to Calhoun, he is taken down by a drop toe-hold. Calhoun roars, and gets back to his feet as Stone is lying face down on the mat. He stands over Stone, and locks in the Callous Clutch!

Stone’s back is bent back in ways the human body wasn’t made to. With Calhoun having his wrists firmly locked, there is no room to escape, but Stone doesn’t give in to the pain. Unfortunately, he can’t get the leverage he needs to escape, and is stuck in the middle of the ring, nowhere near the ropes. Calhoun, annoyed by Stone’s perseverance, modifies his Clutch so that he only has one arm needed to keep Stone head and spine bent back, and uses his free hand to claw and scratch away at the open wounds on Stone’s chest, causing immense agony. When Calhoun jabs his finger into the wounds, Stone finally senses he has no choice but to tap out, as Calhoun’s hold is too strong.

Winner, by submission at 09:47
–James Calhoun–

Main Event – Single’s Match – Champion vs. Champion – Non-title
Ronnie Cage vs. The Armenian Beast

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The crowd reacts surprised as Gurgen is accompanied to the ring by a woman calls herself ‘Lady Maeve of York’, and as scuttlebutt says, is his new girlfriend! Also accompanied by Tenzin, but The Bhutanese Beast makes his way back after the introduction, and after Ronnie Cage arrives, the match is kicked off!

With the two champions locking up in the middle of the ring, it is Gurgen who manages to get the upper hand, applying so much pressure on Cage’s shoulders that the Ultimate Wrestling Champ is forced to his knees. Gurgen starts headbutting Ronnie, but The Southern Man doesn’t budge, as he instead releases the lock-up, and wrestles Gurgen down to the mat by going for the knees of the Beast, and hitting him with a dragon legscrew. Gurgen tumbles to the mat with a resounding smack, and Ronnie is quick to capitalize on it, hitting with with a double footed stomp right on the hairy face. Cage then channels his inner brawler as he unleashes a series of elbows to the Beast’s face, taking the fight to him, until Chuck Aitken is forced to separate them, as Gurgen is pummeled into the ropes.

Gurgen uses the ropes to get back to his feet, nearly ripping them off of the turnbuckles, but Cage, who seems particularly fiery tonight, is straight back in it, and hits Gurgen with such a massive clothesline that the Irradiated Imbecile is knocked to the outside! Cage fires up the crowd by raising his hands, before following the Beast to the outside.

Probably not remembering that spending too much time on the outside cost him his match against Wülf, Gurgen seems perfectly happy to continue the fight on the outside. Ronnie charges in with a running dropkick, knocking Gurgen against the barricade. Cage then wraps his arms around Gurgen as best he can, and nails him with a non-overhead belly-to-belly suplex. The size of the Beast makes the UWE Studio’s shake, as Chuck Aitken is already at the count of 5.

Ronnie rolls back into the ring, and then back out again, breaking up the count. Gurgen is already crawling back to his feet, but is grabbed from behind by Cage, who locks his wrists around Gurgen’s waist and in a show of great strength and technical prowess, hits the Massive Moron with a release German suplex that sends his head bouncing off of the steel steps!

Chuck Aitken rolls out of the ring, worried about the Beast’s health, but much to the senior ref’s amazement, and to that of the champion, Beast gets back to his feet as if nothing had happened. Cage’s eyes widen, as he can’t believe that this devastating maneuver didn’t have a bigger impact. Gurgen still seems dazed however, and Ronnie grabs him by the back of the head, before smashing it into the ringpost multiple times. After about five hits, Gurgen blocks the next one, then grabs Ronnie’s head in return, and smashes it into the post with such strength that the Ultimate Wrestling Champ falls down, with his lights nearly knocked out!

The crowd is chanting both for Ronnie and for Gurgen. With these two well-beloved Superstars giving it their all, they are in a great mood, and as Gurgen grabs Cage by the scruff of the neck and lifts him up, they start a ‘Both These Guys’ chant. Gurgen lifts Ronnie up overhead and throws him back into the ring through the bottom and middle ropes. Cage regains consciousness quickly however, and as Gurgen gets back into the ring, Cage takes advantage with a big DDT! He rolls the Massive Moron over and goes for a pin…

1..

Gurgen kicks out with force, throwing Ronnie off of him; the UWC lands on his feet, and as Gurgen again tries to scramble back to a vertical basis, he has his arms hooked, and Cage lifts him up for a tigerbomb, which he hits to ring-shaking effect! Cage retreats a couple of steps this time, realizing fully well the endurance his foe has, and that it’ll take a lot more to bring him down. He stalks a recovering Gurgen, and when the timing is right, plants the Massive Moron’s head between his legs, and lifts him up for a powerbomb position. Showing great strength, he runs over to the nearest turnbuckle, and smashes Gurgen into it with such force that the buckle breaks off of the ringpost, and the ropes fall down to the canvas, effectively destroying the ring.

The crowd breaks into a well-deserves holy shit chant, but the referee seems confused as to how this match should continue. Ronnie gets back up to his feet as Gurgen is clutching the back of his neck in pain. After hitting the steel steps and now getting his head slammed so hard into the buckles that he broke the ring, even the imposing Beast is feeling the effects. Ronnie grabs him by the feet, and drags him to the center of the ring, going for the pin.

1..2..

Gurgen kicks out, but only just, not nearly as convincingly as before. The slight delay after the hit might be his only saving grace. Ronnie isn’t quite done yet though. He stands over the Beast’s body and calls for the Southern Comfort. He grabs the Massive Moron’s legs, and gets his beloved cloverleaf locked in, even though it requires near superhuman strength to get the leverage needed. Gurgen roars in pain, as even his limits are tested under the backbreaking move. His massive paws slam the mat, not to submit, but to crawl towards the nearest ropes… except there are none!

Gurgen’s reach allows him to grab one of the loose ropes lying on the mat, but Aitken makes the ‘NO’ gesture, and says that the rope break doesn’t apply here. After another massive bellow, Gurgen inches slightly further, and his fingers curl around the edge of the ring, and he uses his arm strength to pull both him and Ronnie towards the outside. Gurgen falls to the outside, and Ronnie seems to have the firm upper hand. The UWC follows to the outside, and rolls Beast back inside. Standing behind the Irradiated Imbecile, he tries to lock in a full-Nelson, going for the Alabama-rama!

But Gurgen’s size makes it simply too hard to execute it properly. Ronnie can’t locks his fingers in and can’t position his feet properly, and Gurgen manages to wriggle free, grabs a fistful of facial hair and… Beard to the face!

Ronnie is taken completely off guard! The champion is powerless to defend against the beard that cuts off his oxygen flow, and it isn’t long before his eyes roll into the back of his head. Gurgen paw is unrelenting, and as Ronnie slumps down to his knees, the referee lifts up Cage’s arm. As he releases it, it falls limp to his side. Chuck Aitken calls for the bell!

Winner, by referee stoppage at 11:06
–The Armenian Beast–

Licking his wounds, literally in some cases, The Armenian Beast rises to his feet. In celebration, he sticks a fist in the air with Maeve cheerfully clapping her hands, almost dropping the belt. Gurgen marches to one side of the ring to greet the fans.
The fans at the other side of the ring needed celebrating too, but when Gurgen is in mid transit of the ring, the entire arena goes black. After a moment, the video wall comes to life. The screen is black, except for a timestamp running along in the bottom right corner. 26.04.1986 04:42 it said in the corner in that faded quality you’d get from a video tape left on the shelf for a few decades. The screen glitches a bit before focusing, still in low res, eighties VHS quality, on a pair of boots not dissimilar to Gurgen’s ancient Soviet combat boots. These boots, however are tied with laces rather than taped shut.

As the crowd and the commentators alike ask themselves what is going on, the shot begins to rise. Above the boots are a pair of dark green pants, of a quality that suggested the person wearing it was in the military. At about the knees a smock of sorts came into view. It’s in a fairly light brown color and, by the way it was worn, it seems to weigh an absolute ton. It seems to be made of heavy plates, metal probably, woven into the fabric. Further we rise. The hands, hanging still next to the body wear thick leather gloves with fur trimming. The sleeves are of the same color and fabric as the pants, definitely a uniform. The gloves extend over the sleeves, so we can’t even make out the skin color of this oddly dressed soldier. On the shoulders, insignia can be seen. From this angle it is impossible to make out any of the writing. The throat is encased in a beige sleeve. The sleeve, as we travel the last bit, prove to be part of an old cloth and goggles gas mask with a sizable breathing apparatus positioned over the mouth. The camera lights cause glare in the goggles, making it impossible to see the person inside. Laboriously, no doubt due to the massive weight of the smock, the soldier draws long and slow breaths. Exhaling rapidly as the metal plates forced his chest down. The breathing and the switching over from inhale to exhale and back from the apparatus was the only sound. The soldier just stands there, the sound of his breath filling the otherwise silent arena. The camera zooms out, losing focus momentarily. Still the soldier just stands there, breathing heavily. When we get a look of him, head to toe, not an inch of skin exposed, for a few seconds, the screen snaps to black again. Long seconds later the arena lights come back on.
The crowd now focuses its attention back to the Armenian Beast, whose mood seems to have shifted dramatically. Gurgen has sunk to his knees. Mouth agape, arms limply hanging by his side down to the mat, he stares at the now blank screen. A close up shot betrays tears copiously running down his face, disappearing into the beard. Maeve drops the belt to the floor and hurries inside the ring. Tenzin too, appears from the back, running to save his Beastly brother. But save him from what exactly? It takes quite a moment to escort The Beast, unresponsive, apathic almost, back to the locker room, as the show comes to a close.

UWE OTT
~*~*~

After the show has faded to black, panting can be heard, as the image on the screens suddenly reappears. Shaky cam footage is seen, from a cameraman running through a corridor, hot on the trail of one of UWE’s backstage interviewers.
The cameraman struggled to keep up with Carston Blake as he hurries out of the UWE arena into the parking lot. The backstage personality is impatiently trying to rush his associate but Carston wasn’t carrying a large camera on his shoulder.

Carston: Come on, we need to hurry! It should be close!

The pair continues on as quickly as possible then stops as they come to James Calhoun, impatiently pacing the parking lot dressed in his street clothes. His hands are on his hips and the cowboy is keeping a keen eye out. Blake rushes over and begins talking into his mic before the camera has him in focus.

Carston Blake: Carston Blake here, and I’ve just caught up with James Calhoun. Mr. Calhoun, Ronnie Cage challenged you to meet him out here tonight, do you think he’s going to show?

The Callous one chuckles and shakes his head at the question.

Calhoun: Ain’t no way he’s gonna show. I’m only out here so I can prove once an’ fer all that Cage ain’t nuthin’ but a yellow, lyin’ dog. He’ll be back there shakin’ in his boots an’ avoidin’ me. Tomorrow he’ll tell everyone some bull about how he tried so hard to come fight me but Fortier just held him back an’ wouldn’t let him do it.

Carston: I don’t see him yet but-

Carston is cut off by the sound of yelling from off camera. He and the camera turn to see what the commotion is.

Ronnie: Fore the last time, quit yore yappin’. Ah’m here, and Ah’m ready tew give yew the fight of yore life, Calhoun. Yew ain’t never had a challenge like me!

Cage is standing there in the same outfit he wore earlier in his match with The Armenian Beast (plus his hat), and with the UWC draped over his shoulder. Calhoun smiles, despite really and truly not thinking Cage would show, he secretly really wanted to be wrong. If for no other reason than to have the chance to give the man a good ass kicking.

Calhoun: Now this here is fer the title, ain’t it? When I beat you, you’ll go tell them ladies that I’m the new champ? No backing out?

Cage: Well, that’s what Ah said, isn’t it? Did Ah fuckin’ stutter, Calhoun? Unlike yew, Ah choose mah words wisely. Yew beat me, yew get the title, Ah’ll go tell the bosses mahself. But, WHEN Ah beat YEW, yew back the hell off and leave me be, forever.

Calhoun smiles again, real big. Cage was a fool. This would be easier than taking candy from a dead baby. Ronnie hands the title over to Carston Blake and throws his hat aside.

The two men size each other up momentarily looking for an opening to attack. Calhoun lunges forward suddenly hitting Cage with a hard right. The champ fires back, landing a solid punch that leaves Calhoun’s ears ringing. Cage goes in for another punch but the cowboy ducks under it, ramming his shoulder into Ronnie’s mid section and slamming him into a car, the alarm blaring to life under the impact.

Carston excitedly moves around the pair, ducking out of the way and looking to the camera.

Carston: I can’t believe this is really happening!

As Cage recovers from the shoulder tackle Calhoun hits him with a duo of punches, he goes on for a hard haymaker but Ronnie moves his head, leaving Calhoun to punch through the poor person’s window. As the disgruntled redneck grips his hand Ronnie grabs his head and slams it onto the car hood. Calhoun is left dazed but keeps his hands up ready to continue the fight. The two men prepare to come together again when the parking lot is suddenly swarmed.

Lise: Get them apart, this is over!

Lise and Lara are trying to regain order, with them are several security guards and even some executives.

Cage and Calhoun struggle to break free of the interruption, trying to get back at one another.

Ronnie: Yew get yore damn hands off me! Ah’m not done yet!

Calhoun: Real tough guy, huh, Cage? I knew you weren’t man enough to fight me, crawl back under the skirt where you belong!

Despite the wrestlers determination to continue the sheer number of security keeps them apart and finally manages to get them out of the parking lot, as the show comes to a definitive close this time.

Show Opener – Single’s Match
Karma Tenzin vs. JTX

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Hot Pink Fury versus The Bhutanese Beast. It doesn’t get much better than that if you want to kick off Over the Top! JJ Hemphill seems nervous in the middle of the ring, being in the ring with someone as unpredictable as JTX, but he has no choice but to do his job and call for the bell. As soon as he does so, JTX tries to nail Tenzin with a big right, but Tenzin blocks it, keeping hold of JTX’s fist. JTX then goes for a left, but Tenzin blocks it likewise. From there, it turns into a Greco-roman knuckle lock, that features both men testing their strength against one another. Momentum seems to shift back and forth, with neither man truly relinquishing, as the crowd looks up, interested to see who gets the first upper hand.

JTX is more muscular than Tenzin, but has a clear height disadvantage, and the iron grip of The Bhutanese Beast and his leverage advantage eventually force JTX onto his knees as he bends back his hands at the wrist. Keeping JTX’s hands and arms well under control, Tenzin twists around, repositioning himself behind JTX, and crossing his arms, eventually locking in a straitjacket submission hold, using JTX’s own arms to choke him out!

While the move is effective, it is allowing JTX too much time to force himself towards the bottom ropes, and as JTX using his feet to crawl closer, Tenzin notices his grip is beginning to slip as they both get sweatier. Tenzin tries to apply ore pressure by putting his knee against JTX’s spine, but eventually , UWE’s Hot Pink Fury has managed to reposition himself in such a way that the toes of his boots just barely manage to reach the ropes.

JJ immediately calls for the break, and Tenzin, usually relinquishing it immediately, keeps it locked in until the count of three! As soon as he breaks, JTX rolls out of the ring, trying to catch a breather, but the Beast follows him and Irish whips him straight into the barricade! Karma charges at him, but JTX has enough awareness to duck, and as Tenzin arrives, lifts him over the barricade, sending him flying into the crowd! Karma lands in between an elderly man and what appears to be his grandson, and as he scrambles to his feet, apologizes profusely and elaborately, but this prevents him from seeing JTX, who grabs him by the scruff of the neck, and bounces his forehead off of the ringside barricade!

Having a history of suspected concussions, this bodes ill for Karma, as JTX repeats the move over and over, until Tenzin just slups over the barricade and his body drops back to ringside. Meanwhile, JJ is at the count of 7 as JTX hops back over the barricade and starts kicking viciously at Tenzin, making sure to get him straight in the gut, where it hurts the most. The Beast coughs and clutches his stomach in pain, before JTX deadlifts him up from behind, and swings him into the ringside post, before throwing him back into the ring!

With JJ now at the count of 9, JTX quickly rolls back into the ring himself, and proceeds to continue his attack. Once again, he approached Tenzin from behind, deadlifts him up, and keeps him suspended in the air, before finally falling backwards, arching his back beautifully, and landing a non-release german suplex! DIplaying awesome technique, he rolls Tenzin over without ever releasing, and repeats this two more times, before finally bridging into a cover after the last one.

1..2..

Tenzin kicks out! JTX seems a bit frustrated, but doesn’t let it get the better of him. Nevertheless, his next move is an aggressive one, as he mounts the Beast and starts throwing precise punches, each one of them meant to hurt. Tenzin holds his forearms up, blocking as best he can, until eventually he spreads his arms, before hitting JTX on the ears with a double palm strike! This creates a vacuum effect, sucking the oxygen out of JTX’s brains, and the pink-haired cross-dresser simply falls down into a heap, but in one last-gasp attempt at salvation, rolls out of the ring again!

Tenzin gets up, shaking his head to recollect himself, and follows JTX to the outside, who is lying on the floor like a sack of very pink potatoes. The Beast grabs JTX’s feet, and pulls them towards him, hooking them under his arms, before catapulting JTX straight into the ringpost, returning the favor from earlier! JTX hits it face-first, and the crowd loves it, as they cheer for their beloved Buddhist. JTX, the catapult having sent him to a vertical base, now staggersback to one of the ringside barricades, where Tenzin once again wants to repay the favor from earlier. He grabs JTX by the scruff of the neck, but is elbowed in the gut, causing him to double over! JTX grabs Tenzin’s wrist, and sends him flying with a whip, straight into the announce table! As CJ shrieks, the Beast arches his back in pain, and JTX comes charging in with a clothesline, sending him over the table! CJ doesn’t seem to know what to do, as she looks like she wants to help Tenzin. But she doesn’t even get the chance, as JTX comes back in, and throws the beast back into the ring before JJ can count them both out.

Back in the ring now, JTX, still not fully recovered either, is staggering towards Tenzin, who’s crawling away in an effort to grab ab bit of a breather, but JTX is relentless. JTX grabs the Beast’s foot, and positions Tenzin for a Tampa Cloverleaf as he grabs both legs, but as he leans in to do the stepover, Tenzin grabs a handful of hot pink hair, and rolls him up into a pin!

1..2..

JTX releases the Beast in order to escape the pinfall, and scrambles back to his feet as soon as he can, but so does Tenzin, who seems to have gotten a second win following that near fall. JTX charges in with an attempt at a leg lariat, but misses wildly as Tenzin rolls through. As JTX lands, Tenzin goes in for the kill as he seeks to lock in the Enlightenment from behind! However, JTX is too near the rope and before Tenzin can lock it in, JTX has managed to grab hold of the ropes already. Tenzin rises to his feet, but is held back by JJ for a bit too long, and JTX takes advantage, as this time, he hits him with a leg lariat! Pin!

1..2..

Tenzin kicks out, much to the delight of the crowd. JTX almost seems impressed with Tenzin’s durability, who is already crawling back to his feet. JTX waits for him, and he locks him in position for a belly-to-belly suplex, but as JTX tries to lift the Beast up, it’s blocked! And one headbutt later, it is actually Tenzin who has locked in JTX with a bearhug, using his size advantage to lift JTX off of his feet. JTX tries to wriggle free, but the renowned iron grip of Tenzin is remorseless, and it’s squeezing the life out of JTX!

JTX seems to fade, but whether it’s a burst of adrenaline or something else, he suddenly and frantically starts throwing a cascade of punches, elbows and headbutts at Tenzin, who seems taken aback by this level of sudden aggression. As JTX is released, the Hot Pink Fury is ideally positioned.
Jaw Dropper!

JTX rolls Tenzin onto his back. They’re fairly close to the ropes.

1..2..

Tenzin has his foot underneath the bottom rope, but JJ doesn’t see it!

3!

JJ calls for the bell, oblivious to the non-valid pinfall, but what’s done is done!

Winner, by pinfall at 10:38
–JTX–

The video replay clearly shows that JJ shouldn’t have counted the three. Whilst JTX didn’t cheat to win, he didn’t do anything illegal, the fact of the matter is that the referee, quite frankly, blew it. Nevertheless, nothing can be taken away from either JTX or Karma Tenzin, both of whom had a great showing tonight!

Match Two – Single’s Match
Gabe Reno vs. Hijo De Los Muertos

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Reno is quick out of the gate, hitting Reno with a running forearm, and continuing to hit him, driving him back against the ropes. Using the ropes to gather momentum, Reno then whips Hijo to the other side of the ring, before he is hit by a standing dropkick. Gabe wastes little time in going for a cover.

1..2..

Hijo kicks out! Reno immediately goes for a Boston Crab while the Son of the Dead is still down, but Hijo blocks it, and in a great show of leg strength, sends Reno flying, flipping to his side. Hijo kips up, and as Reno gets back to his feet, hits him with a snap suplex, before following it up with a legdrop and a standing moonsault! The crowd roars in approval, and as Hijo goes to the top turnbuckle, the crowd is simply electrified, despite the dark atmosphere that surrounds the grandson of El Muerto Tremendo.

He leaps, looking to hit a Swanton Bomb! But Reno rolls out of the way, and as Hijo lands hard on his back, ‘the Radical’ locks in a sleeper hold! But how do you stop a man who is already dead!? While Reno tries to lock it in as tightly as possible, Hijo gets just about enough leverage to manage to inch closer to the bottom rope and put his foot on it. It’s enough for Corey Miner to start calling for the DQ.

1.2..3…4….

Reno releases, and is ordered back by Miner. He doesn’t waste any time going back on the offensive however, and picks up Hijo, Irish Whipping him into the corner, and calling for the RADICALITY!! He charges in at Hijo, but the masked Mexican ducks, and Reno gets hung up on the top turnbuckle! Hijo runs through, approaches Reno from behind, and hits him with an exploder suplex!

The crowd goes wild as Hijo climbs to the top turnbuckle, and this time, hits a picture perfect Swanton Bomb! He grabs Reno’s hair, lifts him to his feet, and gets him up un stall suplex position… before nailing him with a brainbuster to the knee! The crowd rise to their feet as Hijo covers.

1..2..3!

Winner, by pinfall at 05:28
–Hijo De Los Muertos–

The crowd applauds an impressive showing by both competitors. Gabe Reno showed a lot of potential, but it was ultimately Hijo who wanted it more, rewarding him with a win on his debut.

While everyone expected the Wulf Erikson versus Mike Rosati match to begin, the regularly scheduled programming was interrupted. Matt Moore appeared in front of the Vancouver crowd without any sort of announcement or indication of his entrance being made. He strolls down the ramp and into the ring, politely requesting the microphone from Sylvie Rose.

She obliges and heads over to her seat in the timekeeper’s area. Matt states that he has a few things to get off of his chest. He praises Jared Oliver for their bout last week, then moves onto the real reasons he has taken to the ring. He states that he came back to Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment to wrestle. Not to watch miscreants try and run the show.

He gives as good of an update as he can on the whereabouts of his brother, Brandon. He hasn’t heard from him, but assumes he is watching and says he will get revenge on JTX for him. Or, if Brandon returns, they can do it together as brothers.

Matt’s attention is then turned towards his opponent for later in the evening, Ronnie Cage. The Ultimate Wrestling Champion has been the center of many people’s attention as of late. Matt seems to jump on the bandwagon of calling Ronnie Cage selfish. He says Ronnie is only out for himself. He wasn’t there to really help his brother or to help Mike. He was there to take out Asylum and got himself a title shot out of it.

He claims that Ronnie wanting to protect the UWE and clean it up is just because it benefits him. He says he is putting every UWE roster member on notice. He delivers a warning to not mess with Brandon or Matt. Because messing with one Moore messes with the whole Moore family. And the Moores are not people you want to mess with.

Matt throws the microphone over his shoulder, sending feedback throughout the speakers as it crashes to the mat. He exits up the ramp, letting the show continue from there.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Mike Rosati vs. Wülf Erikson

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Erikson versus Rosati can now finally start, but in strange fashion. Wulf has the nerve to sit in the corner and have a sandwich before the match begins! Rosati heads towards Erikson, unamused. He comes to find what Wulf is munching on. Wulf then offers him a bite of his own. Rosati shrugs and takes half the sandwich from his opponent.

The bell finally rings as Mike throws a big punch, still clutching the half of the sandwich, connecting with Wulf’s head. Rosati continues the assault on Erikson as chunks of the sandwich spew across the ring. The punches rain down.

Rosati then grabs Erikson by the throat and slams his head down into the mat. This has referee Chuck Aitken begin a count. Rosati lets up right at the very last second allowable. Aitken calling Rosati off gives time for Wulf to get to a knee. It is short lived, though, as Rosati speeds in with a knee…

NO! Erikson is able to grab the knee before impact and use Mike’s momentum against him! Wulf pulls Mike along with a fireman’s carry. He wastes no time in flipping with a leg drop for a pin fall count…one…two…powerful kick out by Rosati with a forearm strike to Erikson!

Mike hurries to capitalize, dragging Wulf to his feet by his hair. Rosati runs with Erikson towards the turnbuckle, but Wulf gets a foot up to avoid his head being smashed into the corner. Wulf shakes free and throws a European uppercut at the former Maddogg. He then leaps to the ropes and throws a corkscrew crossbody at his adversary.

As Wulf comes flying in, however, Rosati lands a jumping spin right to his head! Erikson crashes to the mat hard and Mike flies in for a pin. One…two…hard shoulder up from Erikson! This match continues!

Mike Rosati stays on the prowl. He sends a flurry of stomps into Wulf before he can even try to scramble to his feet. Wulf attempts to escape and crawl towards the ropes. He manages to get himself onto the apron as Rosati follows. Mike reaches over the ropes to grab onto Wulf as he starts to pull himself to his feet.

Wulf slaps Rosati’s hands away and sends a headbutt, sending Mike reeling. Erikson springboards and connects with a hurricanrana…he holds on for a pin!

One…two…Rosati forces Wulf off of him!

Both men hurry to their feet, but Wulf gets the advantage! He uses his speed to slip behind Rosati. Wulf dropkicks Mike in the back and sends his chest bouncing off of the ropes in front of him. As he rebounds, Wulf rolls him up. Instead of following through with a pin, he allows Rosati to roll to a knee…Wulf connects with a big kick to the head!

Erikson grabs a hold of Rosati’s head, attempting a submission of some kind, but Rosati is too close to the ropes. He holds on for dear life as Chuck Aitken makes Erikson relinquish his attempt. Wulf complies before the referee begins to count. He heads back in after noticing Mike no longer has a grip of the ropes. Rosati is able to take advantage of the rest his was given, sending a straight kick to Wulf’s inner thigh. It causes Wulf’s leg to give out and he takes a knee.

Rosati leaps to his feet and runs to the opposite side of the ring. He comes back and sends a hard knee to the back of the kneeling Erikson. Wulf’s momentum sends him zooming through the bottom ropes and out to the floor below. Mike lets out a massive roar at this point, pumping himself up.

Referee Aitken pleads with Mike to keep it in the ring, but Rosati heads out to the apron. He patiently waits for Erikson to stand and turn towards him, Chuck yelling in his ear the entire time. Rosati leaps off of the apron, looking to hit Lights Out! Erikson steps out of the way and avoids the flying knee strike!

Rosati rolls through and quickly turns towards Wulf. Both men are zooming at each other…full speed! Mike extends his arm…Wulf extends his arm.

Double clothesline! Both men connect and hit the ringside mat hard!

Chuck Aitken starts his count as the crowd goes nuts.

1…

2…

3…

4…

5…

Both men begin to stir.

6…

7…

Both are at a knee.

8…

9…

Both push themselves up and slide into the ring, breaking the count!

The two of them are still down in the ring. Chuck Aitken checks on them both, telling them to get a move on or he’ll be forced to start another count for a double knockout. The two competitors obviously hear him and start to find anyway to pull themselves up. Mike is to his feet a split second before Wulf, allowing him to move in first!

Before Erikson can turn around, Rosati grabs a hold of him in the Kata ha jime! He flips Erikson over for one of his trademark maneuvers! The suplex sends Erikson across the ring. Rosati rushes in for a pin attempt.

One..two…last second kick out by Erikson has Rosati stunned!

Mike goes back on the offensive, propping Erikson up to his feet. Rosati sends Wulf across the ring with an Irish Whip. As Wulf rebounds, Rosati attempts a lariat that is going to take Wulf’s head off!

Wulf ducks! He continues passed Mike and flips forward. Upside down, Wulf bounces against the ring ropes. This sends him flipping back to a standing motion, followed by another fluid jump. Erikson turns in the air and connects with a variant version of his Best Enziguiri Ever!

Rosati crumbles to the mat and Erikson frantically covers him. Aitken slides in…one…two…three? Wulf thinks he has it as Chuck’s hand seems to slap the mat for a third time.

No! No three count! Aitken explains to Wulf why he’s calling off the pin fall. Erikson is livid as he looks over and sees that his signature move caused Mike to land a bit too close to the edge of the ring. Rosati’s foot is on the bottom rope!

Wulf hurries over and kicks the rope causing the rope to bounce off. He drags Mike to the middle of the ring and goes for another cover. Chuck moves in and slams his hand down once…kickout!

Rosati powers out and claws his way to the corner. He pulls himself up and turns around just in time to see Wulf Erikson speeding towards him. Erikson splashes…Rosati rolls out of the way! Wulf collides with the turnbuckle and Mike rolls him up!

One…kickout! Another quick cover goes the wayside.

Wulf gets up and rushes in with a big forearm as Rosati gets to his feet. Mike returns the favor with a forearm of his own! Wulf again. Mike again. Wulf again. Mike again. The last forearm by Mike sends Wulf back against the ropes. He bounces back towards Rosati.

Mike throws a huge punch at Wulf…and Wulf ducks! He slips passed the punch and grabs a hold of Mike.

At Wit’s End connects!

A desperation finishing maneuver by Wulf Erikson. Both he and Mike are down in the center of the ring. Wulf uses all his might to drag himself over towards his opponent, though. He drops his arm across the chest of Mike Rosati.

Chuck Aitken slides in and hits the mat!

1..2..3!

The match is over! Wulf Erikson has the victory!

Winner, by pinfall at 13:20
–Wülf Erikson–

Wulf, completely spent, rolls out of the ring, using it to hold himself up. He bends over and lifts something off the ground…um. It’s the last bite of his sandwich from the start of the match. He downs it! The crowd cheers and gasps in disgust all at once. Wulf then heads up the ramp as Mike Rosati begins to come to in the middle of the ring, having fallen just short in an impressive bout.

~*~*~

Before the next match, Ronnie Cage is stopped backstage by Carston Blake. Ronnie is on the way to the ring as Matt has already made his entrance. The meeting between Ronnie and Carston appears on the video screen.

Ronnie reluctantly agrees to an interview as Carston and the cameraman follow him through the backstage area. Carston starts by asking a simple question about Ronnie’s commentary job the prior week. Ronnie answers honestly. He says it was fun, but definitely not his cup of tea.

Carston then mentions Matt Moore becoming another person on the list of those calling Ronnie Cage selfish for his actions that lead up to his Ultimate Wrestling Championship match. Ronnie bites right back with his answer.

He names of those who have spoken up, including James Calhoun, Mike Rosati, JTX, Brandon Moore, and his opponent, the aforementioned Matt Moore. Ronnie shuts down the talk of him being self-centered. He states he just wanted peace and justice, but was not going to turn down a title shot that was given to him.

He states he was there to help Mike and Brandon by taking care of Asylum that night the match was made. He says he made a promise to take out the trash in the UWE. He says anarchy is not going to rule the UWE anymore and he’s going to take out the trash like he promised. Ronnie claims to be the company’s protector. If anyone has a problem with it, they’re trash on the curb, too. That includes Matt Moore. Ronnie ends the interview on his terms and heads towards the ring.

Match Four – Single’s Match – Non-title
Ronnie Cage vs. Matt Moore

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

With both Ronnie Cage and Matt Moore in opposite corners, referee Corey Miner calls for the bell and this match is on! The two competitors circle, reaching at each other, but both end up denied. They slide around the ring in a circle, looking for any sort of opportunity to get the match going in their favor.

They finally decide to test each other with a lock up. The collar and elbow tie up is applied. The two struggle, neither one able to force the other backwards. Matt decides to slip out of it now. He steps behind Ronnie and to his other side, grabbing him for a headlock. Matt wrenches in, both he and Ronnie making some odd facial expressions.

Ronnie pulls Matt and forces him against the ropes. Ronnie rolls backwards as Matt is forced to release the headlock. Moore turns towards Cage and rushes in. Ronnie ducks a clothesline and catches Matt’s arm. He drops him with a Russian Leg Sweep.

Both are quick to their feet and Matt runs in again. This time, Ronnie attempts a hip toss, but Matt blocks it! He switches it around into a hip toss of his own. Ronnie hurries to stand and is met with an arm drag takeover. Again, Ronnie hurries back towards Matt. He stops short, avoiding another arm drag attempt.

Ronnie throws a kick at Matt. Matt grabs the leg and spins Ronnie around. When Ronnie is facing Matt again, Moore throws a clothesline! Ronnie ducks underneath. Both men spin around to face each other and lunge with their fists! They both stop before throwing the punch however, seeing that their opponent is thinking the same thing.

They lower their fists and back away. The crowd erupts as Ronnie Cage approves of the reaction. Matt, not fond of Ronnie at the moment, ignores the crowd’s reaction and keeps his focus on the champ. The two grab hands again, possibly going for a test of strength. Matt quickly twists Ronnie’s arm though and sends a big knee into Cage’s gut.

Matt rebounds off of the ropes and comes back with a big clothesline. He drops down for a quick cover…one…two…shoulder up by Cage! Matt isn’t surprised that Ronnie kicked out. He lifts the champ to his feet, but Ronnie responds with a flurry of fists to Matt’s midsection.

Ronnie comes off the ropes now with his own clothesline and pin fall attempt! Two count for Cage similar to the one Matt Moore had just gotten. Ronnie, rather than lifting Matt to his feet, he starts to stomp around him in a methodical manner. He puts his boot down onto almost every exposed part of Matt’s body.

Ronnie then drops down and grabs onto Matt’s arm, wrenching it hard. A few moments pass and Matt is able to push himself up with his free arm. He pounds onto Ronnie’s shoulder, causing him to release the arm wrench he had in. Matt throws a pair of hard kicks to Ronnie’s right leg.

He then pulls Ronnie in and locks his hands around him. He sends Ronnie flying! Overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Matt slides on top of Ronnie for the cover! One…two…kickout! Ronnie thrusts his shoulder up to break the pin fall count.

Matt shouts some words at Ronnie about not being who he says he is before kicking him in the spine as he rolls over. Ronnie keeps rolling over towards the corner, ending up on his back. Matt sees his positioning as an opportunity and ascends the turnbuckle.

As he gets to the top rope, Matt notices that Ronnie has rolled back to the other side of the ring and is getting to his feet. The top rope ascension was for nothing. Matt drops down into the ring and makes his way towards Ronnie. As Matt approaches, Ronnie explodes and surprises him with a series of chops to the chest and punches to the head!

This causes Matt to back against the ropes. Ronnie sends him across and as Matt rebounds, Ronnie slams him with a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker. Matt’s back crunches over Ronnie’s knee. The champ doesn’t hesitate. He allows Moore to drop to the mat and goes for a cover.

One…two…Moore with a shoulder up!

Ronnie stays on the attack, surprised that Matt has been giving him such fits throughout the match so far. He lifts Moore up and kicks him in the gut to cause him to bend over. Ronnie pulls Matt in and lifts him over his head by the waist. Huge powerbomb! Cage flips Matt over afterwards and applies a single-legged Boston Crab!

Matt scratches and claws, eventually able to make it to the bottom rope. He grabs on and Corey Miner calls for Ronnie Cage to break the hold. He does so instantly. Matt pulls himself onto the apron, clutching his leg. Ronnie moves in, but Matt sends a shoulder through the ropes into Cage’s stomach.

Ronnie hurries back to Matt, but again, Matt strikes. He leaps and sends a kick to Ronnie’s head, causing him to stumble backwards. Matt then gathers the strength to climb the turnbuckle. He leaps off, looking for potentially an elbow or a forearm, but…

Ronnie Cage connects with the Van Zant on Matt Moore in mid-air! Moore crumbles to the Matt. Wowza! Ronnie speeds in for the count, glad to be able to put this one away. Corey Miner slides in and counts down one…

Two…

Shoulder up at 2.99999!

Ronnie Cage can’t believe it. He double checks with Corey to make sure that the pin was not fully counted. Referee Miner is adamant that Matt got a shoulder up, adding to the disbelief that Ronnie is feeling.

Ronnie lifts Matt up, calling for this match to be over with. He grabs a hold of him in a full nelson position. Ronnie looks right. Ronnie looks left. Alabama…reversal! Matt slithers out and gets behind Ronnie! He grabs onto Ronnie’s arm and locks in the Cobra Clutch!

Matt has the standing Cobra Clutch applied, but is unable to drag Ronnie to the ground with him and tie him up with his legs. The struggle to do so lasts for quite some time. That is until Ronnie reaches up with one arm and grabs Matt’s head, making sure he’s unable to move. Ronnie forces himself backwards, which in turn forces Matt Moore backwards.

Ronnie slams Matt into the corner, causing the submission to be released! Ronnie and Matt both stumble out of the corner. Ronnie speeds off of the ropes. His offensive is halted, though! As he comes back, Matt Moore pops him up in the air.

Ronnie comes back down and his midsection lands right onto Matt’s knees. Gutbuster! Matt calls for the end! Is he really going to land his finisher and defeat the Ultimate Wrestling Champion?! Matt pounds his chest a handful of times. He has backed himself into the corner, waiting for Ronnie Cage to get to his feet.

Ronnie is stirring, having reached a knee. Matt comes in and spins for his Discuss Big Boot! It’s only a second, but for the competitors it seems like an eternity. Somehow, Ronnie has been pushed out of the way. By who?

By the same man who has slammed the Ultimate Wrestling Championship belt into Matt’s head! JTX has just attacked Matt Moore. Or has he saved Ronnie Cage?! What is going on?!

Regardless, Matt Moore has been hit with Ronnie’s title and this leaves Corey Miner no choice but to call for the disqualification.

Winner, by DQ at 11:40
–Matt Moore–

JTX begins to insult the downed Moore brother, but notices Ronnie Cage coming at him. JTX steps out of the way and sends Ronnie Cage through the ropes and to the floor. This gives JTX time to scare Corey Miner off and assault Matt even further!

JTX mounts Matt Moore and sends a barrage of punches raining down into the spot that he was hit with the title belt. JTX suggestively rides Matt’s chest as he connects with the punches. Finally, JTX lifts Matt to his feet and grabs a hold of him. He has him in the hugging position, signaling for the Jaw Dropper!

It won’t happen, though! Ronnie Cage is back in the ring! JTX quickly lets go of Matt, dropping him to the canvas, and slides out of the ring. Ronnie sends a swing over the ropes, but misses his target. JTX blows a kiss towards the ring and backs his way up the ramp, not entirely satisfied, but feels he did a good enough job.

Ronnie is now frantically searching for his championship belt and notices JTX nodding his head towards it in a weirdly sexy way. Ronnie sees his championship in the corner, having landed their after catapulting off of Matt Moore’s head. Instead of going for it right away, however, he turns his attention to his opponent.

Ronnie goes to assist Matt, but Matt isn’t having any of it. He pushes Ronnie’s arm off of him and slides out of the ring, groggily making his way to the ramp and towards the backstage. Ronnie is a bit offended as he watches Matt roll out of the ring, but doesn’t let it bother him for long. He now turns back around to head towards the Ultimate Wrestling Championship.

RONNIE GETS LAID OUT!

What the hell?! James Calhoun has come out of nowhere and connected with Boot Hill on the champion! James picks up the title and holds it over his head, before showing it to the unconscious Ronnie Cage and mouthing some words best left redacted. Calhoun drapes the belt over Ronnie’s midsection before taking his leave and wiping his hands together for a job well done. He has his own match shortly here to prepare for, mind you.

Main Event – Single’s Match – Non-title
Asylum vs. James Calhoun

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The larger Asylum gets an early advantage in the lockup, pushing Calhoun back towards a corner. The cowboy seems to be trying to fight back, using his own strength to try and counter the loss of footing.

As the pair near the corner Calhoun suddenly spins out of Aylum’s grasp, pushing the maniac into the corner where he collides with a loud thud.

As Asylum turns back from the corner he is met with a flurry of fast and hard punches that stagger the madman, Calhoun continues his punching until Aitken comes between the two and orders Calhoun off Asylum to the dismay of the crowd.

Calhoun backs up but not before getting in a cheap kick to the gut that draws another warning from Chuck.

Calhoun hits the ropes as Asylum recovers coming in for an attempted clothesline, as he tries to connect however Asylum ducks down and heaves the cowboy over the ropes to the floor below.

Calhoun regains his feet with help of the guard rail, staggering to a stand. As he attempts to right himself a fan comes over and yells to the wrestler.

You look like you need a refreshment!

Suddenly the fan tosses his beer into the face of the surprised Calhoun. The cowboy rears back his hand to react but before he can retaliate Asylum leaps off the apron hitting Calhoun with a forearm smash that sends him back into the barricade. Asylum then lifts Calhoun up and rams his head into the rail once more as Chuck begins his count and security removes the rowdy fan.

The crowd is eating up the action as Asylum is manhandling Calhoun on the outside of the ring. Aitken has reached a count of five.

Asylum guides the hillbilly to his feet and escorts him to the ring and shoves him inside, like a bouncer booting a particularly obnoxious drunk. He then enters the ring underneath the bottom rope as well. Asylum gains his feet and then leans down to grab hold of the cowboy, but is met rudely with a thumb to the eye. He stands upright and staggers backward as Calhoun rises. He chops Asylum with the back of his hand.

Another chop gets the same reaction. That is followed by a third and Calhoun seems to be gaining steam. He doesn’t have the crowd behind him, but even their disgust seems to be feeding him energy.

Asylum backs up behind a fourth and then a fifth takes him completely off his feet. The crowd woos for a fifth and final time. Calhoun chuckles as he drops a fist on Asylum’s forehead, careful to avoid the hand-damaging mask. On his knees he starts jawing in Asylum’s face. His words are unheard, but it can be assumed they are pure venom.

James Calhoun was a master of mind games, but some heads were not wise to toy with. As Asylum recovered from the fist drop he alone could hear what Calhoun was taunting him with.

Calhoun: Remember when me an’ lil Libertine had to go play nice with th’ PETA chumps? She ever tell you how many times I railed her in th’ hotel room?

With a snicker Calhoun comes to his feet and stomps hard on his opponents face. Then the cowboy hits the ropes again aiming for an elbow drop but the surprisingly agile Asylum gets to his feet and catches James, dropping him with a hard sidewalk slam before launching a series of punches that soon degrade into near clawing at Calhoun’s face. Asylum is clearly fired up by Calhoun’s words.

Asylum attempts a pin but his opponent is able to get a shoulder up at two. Angry that victory is denied him Asylum begins beating Calhouns head against the ground.

Finally warned off by Aitken, Asylum rises and throws Calhoun into a corner, following up with a spine shattering spear that pins the callous one between Asylum and the ropes. The masked madman does not let Calhoun fall, instead sending him into another corner.

Another spear drives the air from Calhoun’s lungs, this time he is allowed to fall. Asylum climbs to the top ropes and leaps off attempting to land a body splash on his prone victim.

If only by instinct, Calhoun has the wherewithal to roll out of the way of his airborne assailant. All six feet four inches and two hundred seventy-five pounds of loony tunes crashes into the canvas, air rushing from his lungs in a whoosh. Asylum bounces and rolls onto his back. Calhoun, not one to let an opportunity pass him by, immediately lays and arm across the madman’s chest. Aitken drops to the mat and begins the count.

1..2..

Calhoun is visibly frustrated he turns to Chuck and slaps the canvas three times in rapid succession, indicating he is upset with what he believes to be a slow count.

Asylum’s chest is still heaving as he tries to circulate oxygen through his deprived body. Calhoun rises to his feet and grabs Asylum by the restraint mask, rudely righting him as well. He lifts a knee into the abdomen, forcing the much needed air out again. He follows that with another, which he then chases with a third.

Calhoun then follows the series of knees with a snap suplex. He goes for the pin and Chuck once more drops to the mat.

Chuck slaps the mat once…then twice…he comes down for a third but Asylum lifts a shoulder off the mat before the official’s hand makes contact for the final time. In response Calhoun stands and begins shouting at Aitken slapping his hands together three times. Undeterred, Chuck fires back with two fingers. Calhoun seems to not be very good at this negotiation because he now shows Aitken only one finger.

Back in the ring Aitken is threatening to eject Calhoun but never gets the chance as the massive madman slams into both Calhoun and Chuck, knocking both men to the ground and the ref out cold.

Calhoun gets back to his feet but his time vertical is short lived. Asylum grabs ahold of the cowboy and makes him seem like little more than a ragdoll as he lands a belly to belly suplex.

With an almost animalistic sound Asylum brings James back to his feet and uses the man’s long hair as leverage to throw him from the ring once more.

After ragdolling Calhoun to the floor outside of the ring, Asylum follows him out, taking the easier route. He casually approaches the downed redneck and drops a big leg across his chest, forcing the air from his lungs. He scrambles to his feet before bringing Calhoun up. He grabs the man’s hair and his trunks and then slams him headfirst into the barrier with a thud. The crowd roars their approval of the back and forth action in the match.

Asylum lifts Calhoun up to his shoulder, but the smaller man wriggles free and hits a back suplex. Both men are down outside the ring and the referee is still down inside.

Calhoun and Asylum both slowly rise to their feet. Both are staggered as they stare each other down. Calhoun swings and connects with a haymaker, rocking Asylum’s head to the side. Asylum connects with one of his own. Then it’s Calhoun’s turn. And then Asylum’s. The two exchange blow after blow.

Tired of the back and forth exchange Calhoun charges and uses a clothesline to take the larger man off his feet. He then uses one of his boots to stand on the neck of the crazy one. As this is occurring Aitken is starting to recover his sense. JJ Hemphill rushes down to the ring, followed closely by two EMTs. They begin to attend to the referee as Asylum continues to have his breathing disrupted by a cowboy boot.

JJ begins yelling commands to the men outside the ring to re enter, beginig a count out. Meanwhile Calhoun takes his foot off of Asylum’s neck and rakes it hard across the man’s forehead.

As the countdown continues Calhoun finally lets up on Asylum’s face, ducking back under the ropes.

The cowboy ducks back out of the ring, restarting the count. Asylum is getting back to his feet when Calhoun rejoins him and the roughneck redneck gives the masked maniac a hard kick to the gut. The cowboy then grabs a hold of his foe and sends him sprawling onto the announce table.

Calhoun slides back into the ring once more, this time climbing to the top rope nearest the annouce table.
Calhoun leaps into the air, looking to land a devastating elbow drop. Asylum manages to roll towards the announcers who scramble to get out of the way leaving only the hard table to take the elbow drop. Calhoun lays motionless as Asylum rises to his feet, revealing in all the rolling that his mask has come off and lays amidst the broken table.

CJ at ringside averts her eyes as Asylum lunges at Calhoun, teeth bared like a rabid dog. The cowboy isn’t with it enough to protect himself and he howls in pain as he feels Asylum’s teeth on his flesh.

The EMTs are still attending to Chuck Aitken and JJ seems to want no part of getting between the two on the outside of the ring. He continues to count, however. Asylum releases his hold on Calhoun and eyes the counting referee. Fear crosses his face as the maskless Asylum approaches him, but he continues the count. He reaches eight as Asylum rolls into the ring and then back out, resetting the count.

Asylum manhandles Calhoun back to a semi-vertical position and then sends him shoulder first into the steel ring steps. The roughneck hits them with a clang and then drops to the floor. Asylum rights him once more and finally rolls the cowboy into the ring, following him in.

The EMTs have helped Chuck out of the ring and are walking with the man up the ramp as Asylum drops an elbow on his downed opponent and then hooks the leg for the cover. Hemphill drops to the mat to count. He reaches two before Calhoun barely lifts his shoulder to break up the count.

Asylum seems undeterred by the near fall. Instead he rises to his feet and stomps his floored opponent. The ring seems to shake with every vicious boot drop. Convinced he’s battered his opponent sufficiently Asylum lifts Calhoun to his feet. He bends the man forward and hoists him up.

END IS NEAR! Asylum hits a devastating powerbomb!
Instead of going for the pin, however, Asylum reaches down to grab his opponent. He brings him, upright once more and sends him toward the ropes, looking for a Shock Treatment finish!

Asylum times the leap, but Calhoun wasn’t where he should have been. Instead he had grabbed the ropes with all the strength he could muster. Instead Asylum dropkicks air and crashes to the mat. Calhoun is on wobbly feet, but there’s no quit in the Callous One. He staggers forward, determined to inflict damage in any way he can.

Calhoun looks like he isn’t quite on steady feet yet but as Asylum rises from his missed drop kick attempt. Despite his stagger Calhoun waves Asylum forward challenging him to come and get the cowboy. The now unmasked madman obliges and hits Calhoum square in the face making his head turn from the impact.

Calhoun turns back to face Asylum and growls through gritted teeth.

Calhoun: Hit me again!

Asylum does as asked and slams another hard fist into the cowboy’s head but is met with louder.

Calhoun: HIT ME AGAIN!

Now angry with the show Asylum continues to rain punches on Calhoun but each time the cowboy simply asks for another. The crowd, despite its dislike for Calhoun is on its feet and cheering the show.

The next punch Asylum throws finds only air as Calhoun ducks under and begins firing bombs of his own that rock the maniac. The crowd continues to roar as Calhoun lands a devastating haymaker that leaves Asylum staggered before hitting the ropes and dropping the maniac with a flying lariat. Calhoun’s back in it!

Both men regain their feet and stand toe to toe in the middle of the ring locked in a stare down, each declaring with an intense gaze that neither will quit this war. Unfortunately, there is only so much the human body can take. Calhoun charges at Asylum, and hits him with a straight right, but Asylum blocks it, and grabs ahold of Calhoun’s fist. He then bulrushes the cowboy, sending him into the ropes. Calhoun bounces back, as Asylum seeks the nail him with the Shock Treatment!

Boot Hill! Calhoun counters as he levels Asylum with his devastating kick. The cowboy, dazed in his own right, slumps down, and almost stumbles into the cover.

1..2..3!

Winner, by pinfall at 19:45
–JAMES CALHOUN–

The crowd rises in appreciation of their efforts. While neither man is particularly well liked, they put on a match for the ages, as both Asylum and James Calhoun tore the house down! With James Calhoun and Asylum both still down and out on the match, it seems like a fitting end to another episode of Over the Top that had absolutely everything!

With the hallmark fifteenth show on the horizon, and Exodus looming in the distance, one can only wonder what the future will bring!

UWE OTT

UWE Results: OPEN SEASON KICKOFF

Results

Here is this weeks recap of the most recent Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment show. This week the talent returned to Toronto.

1. New blood takes on the veteran

Singles Match: David Stone vs. Damian Darque

Interestingly enough, David Stone has been around for nine years, where as Damian Darque has been around for just a few weeks. In his short time with the UWE, Damian has managed to be a wrestler to keep an eye on. The match up started off as a battle of strength as neither man could get the upper hand through grapples. Stone was able to land a nice German Release Suplex and Big Boot, but Damian was able to nail the Hell’s Gate Crasher to nail the win in just under seven minutes. Quite the impressive match and it really set the tone for the whole show.

2. Masked Madman menaces former Ladies Champ

Singles Match: Lily Jackson vs. Asylum

Poor Lily. Just last week she lost her Women’s title. This week, Asylum was on top as the new World Champion. Asylum made quick work of Lily. She seemed distracted and maybe if she wasn’t, she might’ve put up a better fight. But alas, Asylum scored the victory with the Lobotomy. After the match, Chaos appeared in bandages, and tried to attack Asylum but he just got the Shock Treatment. Lily ended up being the one to show concern for Chaos in the end after he failed to make the save. What’s going on?

Congrats Asylum on your win. Who will be the eventual challenger?

3. Champion versus Champion in a non-title bout

Women’s Champion Princess D. Diva vs. Rising Star Champion Amy GoBraless

This ladies match was quite impressive and surely is the match of the night. It was a typical back and forth bout as both ladies fought for the win. In the end, Amy GoBraless scored the win after landing a top front front missile drop kick. Actually, that move alone wasn’t enough, as Amy had to use another drop kick after she escaped Diamond’s finisher; a Diamond Cutter. The Diamond Cutter is a sunset flip powerbomb and it nearly ended Amy’s main event match. However, Amy rolled out of the move and used the kick to secure a win.

What will happen next week as Open Season continues?

UWE Results: Halloween Hell

Results

The results for the pay-per view haven’t been posted to the blog yet, but here they are in case you missed them. The current results will follow this blog real soon.

1. Trick or… Treat? Costume contest gone wrong

Show Opener: Costume contest

Benedict Sartori is dressed up in a purple ring master costume. He is interrupted by Kennedi and Mackenzi who dress as the twins from the Shining. The contestants are Demoana and Serah. Demoana is the whore of Babylon from the movie Metropolis. Serah is an angel. Serah refuses to show off her costume while Demoana performs a sultry dance to S&M by Rihanna. Demoana is declared the winner. Serah shoves Demoana into a tub of water and apples for bobbing. Her body paint washes off, so Demoana covers herself up as she celebrates. A jealous Serah Feena is unimpressed.

2.Singles contest done right

Match Two Skip Lightly versus Matthew Craven w/ Natasha Lynx:
After the bell rings to start the match Skip approaches Craven with his hand outstretched to shake hands. Craven is surprised by the unexpected show of sportsmanship but also extends his hand though Natasha is screaming at him from the ring apron not to be a fool. Skip shows her warning to be accurate by catching him off guard with a spear and then locking in the kimura causing the bigger man to tap.

Winner Skip Lightly

3. Rising Star SHOCK!

Match Three Amy GoBraless versus Chaos for the Rising Star Championship:

Amy enters the ring with all her usual pomp and circumstance, but as she awaits the arrival of her opponent she begins to grow impatient with his absence. After what she deems a sufficient time frame she calls for the general manager who declares the match a forfeit and declaring Amy as the winner. She then declares to one and all that Amy has successfully defended her title three times and has earned a shot at the World Title. The crowd cheers their approval. After the match it was reported that Chaos had been seen heading toward the ladies’ locker room with flowers. It is unclear if they were meant for Lily or someone else.

Winner and still Rising Star Champion Amy GoBraless

4. Women’s Championship fever
Match Four Lily Jackson versus Princess Diamond Diva for the Women’s Championship:

This back and forth battle had the makings of the best match of the night. The action was back and forth with both women being a half second from victory on several occasions. It is uncertain what was said but the match turned when the self-proclaimed Princess made a comment which angered the Ice Queen. Lily swung a hard hook toward the head of her opponent which was dodged. Diva connected with her finisher and hooked a leg for the pin.

Winner and NEW Women’s Champion Princess Diamond Diva

5. Has the Beast been slayed?
Main Event Asylum versus David Stone versus The Armenian Beast World Championship Match:

This was less a match and more a street fight with Asylum and The Armenian Beast starting in the back. When finally they were brought to the ring and Stone was added to the mix it got no better. The match was filled with hard hits and brutal blows. Near the fifteen minute mark in a brief glimmer of planning the massive moron attempted to get Asylum out of the way by clotheslining him over the top rope. Asylum ducked the move and dumped the hairy one over himself. With an already winded David Stone to himself Asylum was able to finish the man, who put forth a heroic effort considering the competition, finally ending the torture with not one, not twice, but three Lobotomies and the pin. The champ had just reentered the ring but was not in time to interrupt the pin.

Winner and NEW UWE World Champion Asylum

UWE Results: Live in Edmonton

Results

1. UWE Women’s Championship is awarded

Lily Jackson won the newly made Women’s Championship in quite the clincher. Diamond Diva and Lily Jackson both went over the ropes at the same time, but Diva touched the floor a split second before Ms. Jackson. Thus Lily walks away with the new title around her waist. Lily wasn’t hoping for this, but it seems things are working out in her favour. After the match Chaos made his way to celebrate the title with Lily. OoOoOo.

2. Payne doesn’t go easy on Lightly

Major Payne defeated Skip Lightly with ease in an okay singles match. It was painful to see Skip against the Major. However, it was great to see Major Payne extend a hand to Skip post match. The hand shake was a nice touch.

3. Asylum and the Armenian Beast: brewing bromance?

An unlikely tag team emerged victorious in Edmonton after Chaos and Craven lost to Asylum and UWE’s World Champion the Beast. Asylum pinned Chaos in the conclusion of the match, but it was the Armenian Beast who extended the beat down to Chaos. The beat down only happened after Chaos tried to spring a surprise attack. Same old from Chaos, but it made the crowd happy to see the Canadian Psycho get attacked by their World Champion.

Also, UWE has announced no more television deal. What does this news mean? The company will bring episodes that will b taped and aired online as a web show, so fans can continue to watch UWE as the company tours North America. It’s sad news, but here’s hoping UWE can get a new television deal in the mean time.
