ANYTHING GOES

Presenting the ‘Anything Goes’ Theme Song

Location:
The Stampede Corral, Calgary, Alberta
Posted Image

After a chaotic OTT XXVII, we’re finally here… Anything Goes, the night where UWE takes it to the extreme! Every match will have a special stipulation, and all titles will be on the line!
But we have much more than just that on offer. Marisol Hawkes will fight in what is rumored to be her last ever match, and it will be an emotional affair as she takes on Tiami Erickson. Tiami will set aside her differences with Marcus LeVine for just one night, as Marisol looks to go out on a high.
Speaking of LeVine, the sinister Canadian will have a chance to cement his status as one of UWE’s most vicious and cruel. He specially requested the most brutal of matches and the toughest of opponents, so Lara Pegorino decreed he do battle with the promising up-and-comer Caliee Adams in a match that is guaranteed to make someone bleed… It’s First Blood to the finish!
SO watch, as The Armenian Beast and Eavan Maloney defend their titles against their contenders. And prepare to be amazed as #EmphasisOnBullet takes on the formidable duo of Ruby and Corporal Punishment.
It’s Anything Goes! Blood will be shed. Victories will be earned. Spoils will be enjoyed!

Show Opener – Hardcore Match
Mike Manning vs. Michael Kelly

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

The Chosen One is back in action, and he has his sights set on Mike Manning. The Hapless One will be wondering what he did to find himself in Kelly’s crosshairs, but if he ever wanted a chance to make a name for himself, the time is now!
But we wouldn’t count on it, Mike. The Chosen One has you in that ring. In a Hardcore Match. We hope you’re ready.

Match Two – First Blood Match
Caliee Adams vs. Marcus LeVine

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Caliee Adams has impressed friend and foe during her run in UWE. Despite a small hiccup, she has a near perfect record, but many will be wondering whether she can impress in a hardcore environment. And who better to test that out than Marcus LeVine? Many people are gunning for him, but Caliee has a chance to make Marcus bleed… something many will envy her for. If she is successful, expect her stock to rise exponentially. But never forget, she is in there with one of UWE’s most sadistic!

Match Three – Tables Match
UWE Universal Tag Team Title Number One Contendership
New Found Attitude vs. Dogs Of War

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

What do you get when you put two Hall of Famers together? A New Found Attitude! Inspired by the legendary stable Bad Attitude, these two will want to prove they’ve still got it, but they have the newly reformed Dogs of War to go through! Danny and Jared seemed to be at odds, but after last week, seem to have found common cause again. The winners of this match will get a shot at the UWE Universal Tag Team Champions, who will be crowned later tonight! Who can put the other through a table first?

~*~*~

Match Four – Street Fight
Brandon Moore vs. Sorrow

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Just when you think you had gotten Sorrow out of your life, he pops up again! While the whole world was ecstatic to Brandon get rid of him and watching him reunite with his brother Matt, things took a turn for the worse, when Sorrow revealed himself once more, having jumped vessels. Now occupying the mind of Matt, there is no telling what havoc he will wreak upon UWE, unless Brandon stops him once more. The fate of the company may lie in the balance. Time will tell…

~*~*~

Match Five – Last Woman Standing
Tiami Erickson vs. Marisol Hawkes

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Marisol Hawkes has had a storied career, but there are rumors that she is considering retirement. If so, will this be her last match? And will she be able to leave UWE standing tall, or will she go out on her back? Tiami will, regardless of the respect she might hold for her, be gunning for the latter. She could use a big win, and retiring a legend like Marisol would go a long way to making that happen! This one could be emotional!

~*~*~

Match Six – Ladder Match
Canadian Championship Match
The Armenian Beast © vs. Jake Donaldson

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Gurgen’s back! And he will be defending the coveted Maple Leaf Belt against Jake Donaldson, leader of Torment. There is much intrigue surrounding Donaldson, and wining the Canadian title belt from the formidable Armenian Beast would send a clear message to the UWE locker room: don’t mess with Torment! Lara Pegorino has decreed that all Torment members are banned from ringside to ensure a match without any interference. Will this help Gurgen, who many might say has a disadvantage due to the stipulation? Or will he have his third consecutive successful title defense?

~*~*~

Match Seven – Barbed Wire Steel Cage Tornado Elimination Match
UWE Universal Tag Team Tournament final
Ruby & Corporal Punishment vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

No escape! No interference! The inaugural UWE Universal Tag Team Champions WILL be crowned tonight, after we saw Asylum disturb the match before it had even gotten started at OTT XXVII. This time, he will not be able to interfere, as #EmphasisOnBullet and Ruby + Corporal Punishment finally do battle for the coveted tag team belts in the final of the tournament. Inside of a steel cage!!! Under tornado rules!! Oh, and here’s the kicker. There’ll be barbed wire on top of the cage’s edges, making it damn near impossible to escape! This one will be spectacular, folks. Prepare to feast your eyes!

~*~*~

Main Event – I Quit Match
Ultimate Wrestling Championship Match
Eavan Maloney © vs. James Calhoun

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Rematch clause: activated! Eavan Maloney shocked the world when she defeated James Calhoun for the Ultimate Wrestling Championship. But now, the cowboy is back, and ready to reclaim what was once his. As challenger, he had the right to choose the stipulation, and chose this to be an I Quit match. What will this hold for Eavan, who is enjoying married life and successful career all over the world? Will she be forced to give in to the man she once considered a friend? Or will she be able to shut up the Callous One and truly cement her spot at the top of the mountain?

OVER THE TOP XXVII

Location:
UWE Studio’s, Vancouver
Posted Image

The brackets are full. The stage is set. We have our finalists. #EmphasisOnBullet will go two-on-two with the rather formidable duo of Ruby and Corporal Punishment. Out of those four, only Punishment has tasted UWE gold so far, and all others will be hungry to gain some as well. Many consider Ruby to be one of the best to never hold gold in the company, while Wülf Erikson has been tagged by many as a future Ultimate Wrestling Champion ever since he stepped on the Vancouver stage. And when the Bullets team up, who knows what kind of havoc they can wreak. Can they grab their first title belts? Or will Vancouver’s tiniest superhero and a US soldier stop them?
But while that is an epic main event, we have plenty more for you on the go-home show before Anything Goes! After last week, Brandon and Matt Moore will go toe to toe as Brandon seeks answers. Maddogg Mike Rosati, Hall of Famer, will make his return against the debuting Lupus Onyx, and the guy who debuted last week, Buster Bradley, will have a chance to prove himself against Torment’s Corey Sanders.
And to top it all off… The Utimate Wrestling Champion is in the house, baby! But Eavan Maloney has a very tough customer in Tiami Erickson. While her brother competes for gold, can she upset the woman with the big belt? Can she get one over on the champ? We can’t wait to find out!

Show Opener – Single’s Match
Brandon Moore vs. Matt Moore

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

Pyrotechnics shower the main stage in the arena at the UWE Studios. The camera pans across the sea of UWE faithful while Haunt You by The Pack A.D. blares. Over the Top XXVII is live!

Almost immediately after the introduction ceremonies end, the arena lights go dark. Instead of shifting to the commentary team, the broadcast is getting underway with the first match of the evening.

A few moments after the darkness begins, three ever so familiar words appear on the video screen overseeing the stage.

JUST PLAIN BETTER

This sends the crowd into their second frenzy of the night, with the first being just prior due to the start of the show.

Without the normal intro of the song, the heavy riff of Cemetery Gates by Pantera kicks in, coupled with the lights beginning to flash.

Brandon Moore bursts from behind the curtain. His look is one of determination. Brandon forgoes his usual shtick. There is no slapping hands with the front row attendees, there is no shouting, and there is no sign of anything less than serious.

As Brandon makes his way down the ramp, a split screen takes place, surrounded by UWE graphics. A replay of Brandon’s match on Over the Top XXVI is shown. Matt Moore appears out of nowhere and assaults his brother. Danny Oliver tries to make the save, but is met with a move that Matt does not generally use in the form of an underhook piledriver. Then a top rope Falcon Arrow, known to be used by only one man, is delivered to Brandon.

Just as Brandon reaches the bottom of the entrance ramp, Sylvie Rose makes her introduction of him, as if it is needed. Brandon rolls into the ring and quickly stands. He removes his vest and tosses it over the ropes to the ringside mat. From there, he backs himself into a corner and begins to fasten his gloves. His entrance music fades and the lights return to normal. Brandon sends an ice old stare towards the stage.

The fans begin to chant “Just Plain Better,” but Brandon is unfazed. He is here for two things, answers and a fight. A couple minutes pass and nothing happens. Brandon exits the corner and takes a step towards the center of the ring. His attention does not shift from the entrance area. It’s at that point that the lights shut off yet again.

A pulsing sound is now heard. It is that of a heartbeat. It is getting faster and faster. This lasts for some time before everything stops and the lights come back on.

Everyone expected an appearance. That includes Brandon. He spins around, looking for a sign of an attack, but there is nothing. The fans show their disdain for these tactics with heavy boos towards whoever is toying with Mr. UWE.

Then a figure appears on the video screen. With nothing but blackness surrounding a face, it is revealed to be Matt Moore. His eyes are void, however, showing the same blackness that surrounds his image. He is set with a twisted smirk across his face.

Brandon snaps. He speeds over towards the corner that Sylvie Rose stands in. Brandon snatches the microphone from her and turns to shout at the video screen.

The lights flicker and a stint of feedback is heard throughout the arena.

Brandon shouts, but the microphone is unable to pick up his words. He slaps it, but no sound comes through. It appears that even the commentary team’s headsets are on the fritz. Brandon tosses the microphone back towards Sylvie’s feet as she and referee JJ Hemphill have no choice but to watch events unfold.

Matt begins to speak.

“Brandon, Brandon, Brandon…it is good to see you again, old friend. I’m sure you had everything figured out from the get go, but to fill everyone else in, this isn’t your precious brother, Matt.”

“You may call me, simply…”

“Sorrow.”

“You’ve longed for me to be out of your head. Is this not good enough? You see, you thought you had gotten rid of me, but I was simply lying in wait.”

“It was after Just Plain Better versus the Nashville Starlets. I regained control and used every ounce of my power to open your brother’s mind. This is where I have called home ever since Midsummer Massacre.”

“I knew I would never win the struggle with you, so I crafted myself a new vessel in the form of one Matthew Moore.”

“He hasn’t had all of those years to study me like you have. He isn’t strong enough to shut me out like you eventually became. And now that I am undeterred, nothing can stop me.”

“You and I will not do battle this evening, I’m afraid. You can have your forfeit victory for all that it’s worth.”

“But I will humor you. At Anything Goes, we will wage war in a street fight. If only to finally put an end to Brandon Moore once and for all.”

“Hug your children. Kiss your wife. Spend time with those close to you and cherish it, Brandon.”

“Because Sorrow is free and Sorrow is coming.”

Sorrow’s face fades into the surrounding darkness on the video screen. Sylvie Rose picks up her microphone from the mat and begins to speak into it.

The lights flicker yet again and the feedback sound is heard once more. Sylvie’s words are picked up in the middle of her announcement.

Winner, by forfeit
–BRANDON MOORE–

With that, JJ Hemphill approaches Brandon and raises his arm in victory. This is the first time Brandon has moved his focus since entering the ring. He yanks his arm free from referee Hemphill and abruptly exits the ring as Cemetery Gates plays him out. Brandon’s stare returns and he is as stone faced as ever, walking up the ramp to the backstage area.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Maddogg Mike Rosati vs. Lupus Onyx

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

A sixteen year old veteran making his UWE debut… against a bona fide Hall of Famer! It’s Lupus Onyx vs. Maddogg Mike Rosati! As Corey Miner calls for the bell, the two immediately lock up in the middle of the ring. Onyx seems to have the upper hand, driving Maddogg back, but Rosati slips out of the lock-u and reverses it into a hammerlock. He wrings away at the arm, keeps it firmly in position and then hits Onyx with a back suplex, making him land on his arm and nearly dislocating a shoulder.

Onyx gets up quickly, but he grabs his upper arm in pain as Rosati grins. ‘Welcome to UWE’, he mouths, and makes a ‘get over here’ gesture. Onyx wants to lash out at him with a running clothesline, but Rosati ducks, and takes Onyx down from behind with a snapmare. He then viciously kicks Onyx in the back, and does the same to his chest. Lupus is kicked down to his back. Rosati then rolls him over!

Cattle Mutilation! No!! Onyx sensed it was coming and managed to scramble his legs towards the rope, hooking a foot behind the bottom rope, forcing a clean break. Miner intervenes and forces Rosati off before he can lock it in properly. Rosati backs down, and Onyx gets back to his feet. Maddogg wants to get right back to business when he does! He comes storming in with a dropkick, sending Onyx into the corner. He then wants to follow it up with a European Uppercut…

Blocked! Onyx gets his forearms up, and grabs Maddogg by the throat, switching places with him as he throws Maddogg in the corner himself. Onyx starts unleashing blow after blow, and the crowd seems to boo him! While Maddogg hasn’t been a fan favorite lately, at least he is a UWE icon, and they are rooting for him out of nostalgia if nothing else. But Onyx beats down Maddogg, and then Irish Whips him, sending him against the ropes, hitting him with a powerslam on the rebound! And goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Rosati kicks out! Onyx immediately grabs Rosati’s hair. But the Hall of Famer feels it coming… and traps Onyx in an armbar, focusing on the arm he had damaged earlier! Rosati starts cranking away as Onyx screams out in pain. Onyx digs his heels into the canvas, and starts trying to push himself towards the nearest rope. He eventually once again gets there, but a lot of damage seems to be done, as Rosati takes full advantage of the ref’s four-count. Onyx rolls out of the ring once Rosati is forced to release, and starts slapping his arm trying to restore some bloodflow. But Rosati has no intention of waiting around! The Hall of Famer gets to the top rope, and leaps at Onyx!

But the UWE newcomer grabs him, and locks him in a bearhug, displaying great strength, balance and awareness. He lifts Rosati up, trying to squeeze the oxygen out of him in hopes he’ll fade. But it’s obvious he can’t apply full pressure, since his arm is hurting. SO before Rosati passes out, he runs into the ringpost, sandwiching Rosati between himself and the unforgiving steel. Onyx rolls Rosati back in the ring and follows suit. He lifts Rosati to his feet and sends him into the corner, efore following it up with a corner splash. Rosati staggers forward slowly, and is taken down by one of Onyx’s flying shoulder tackles!

With Anica Townsend watching, Onyx calls for it! The Inverted Cross! But as he goes down to lock it in, Rosati sneaks him into a pin with an inside cradle!

ONE!

TWO!

Onyx kicks out! Both men scramble to their feet, but it’s Rosati who manages to kick Lupus in the gut. The man doubles over, and Rosati nails him with a Northern Lights suplex. Rosati helps Onyx up, and calls for an Urinagi! He grabs Lupus, but… it’s blocked! Onyx slips out, and lands behind Rosati. He steps in, and Rosati is forced to bend backwards. Onyx grins…

Ministry’s Call!!!

Lupus goes for the pin..

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!

Winner, by pinfall at 07:03
–LUPUS ONYX–

Lupus is victorious on his debut! The crowd applauds both competitors for a hard fought contest.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Corey Sanders

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

As the bell rings to announce the beginning of the Sanders and Bradley match up both men circle slowly and size one another up. Buster attempts to close in and lock up but Corey uses his superior reach to keep the Minnesota Mauler at bay. After a few failed attempts to get inside Buster finally manages to slip one of Corey’s strikes and get near him. Undeterred Sanders scrambles and reaches out to grab Buster around the back of the neck to tie him up into a tight Muay Thai clinch before launching a series of hard knees into Bradley’s stomach. The strikes have Buster trying to pull back and retreat but like a fisherman trying to reel in a catch Corey lets Buster struggle, giving him enough slack to try and run before sucking him back in with another knee.

In a panic Buster does the only thing he can think to do, he reaches out and grabs Sanders into a tight bear hug. Corey groans and struggles to try and get free of the powerful, crushing grip of Buster. The Green Dragon finally slams his hands together to box Bradley’s ears. Buster grimaced and squeezes more. Corey repeats the attack and on the third try Buster releases. Sanders can’t take time to recover and goes right back on the offense.

Corey grabs onto Buster’s head and falls back to hit a double knee jawbreaker. Buster falls back to the mat as Corey gets back to his feet. Sanders lifts Buster back up and begins to hit a flurry of punches and kicks, ending with a shuffle side kick that sends Bradley staggering back. Corey follows up a clothesline that further staggers the dazed Buster. Corey hits the ropes for another clothesline but this time Buster is more ready and counters with a shoulder block that drops Sanders to the canvas.

As Corey start a to get up Buster hits the ropes himself and comes back with a clothesline of his own that takes Corey back to the mat. Buster picks Sanders up before lifting him for a scoop slam. Buster picks him back up and tries to lift him for another slam but Sanders shoots in and fires off another knee. Buster bends forward and Corey follows up with several open palm strikes. He finishes off by running to the ropes and jumping off to hit a springboard knee to the face. Buster goes down and Corey pins.

After the grueling match Corey doesn’t have the energy to slip but takes the punch and fires back again. Soon the two wrestlers are trading heavy blows that staggers then with each hard strike.

Finally Sanders manages to use his superior striking abilities to land a few quick jabs that send Buster to one knee. From there Corey begins laying into his foe with several hard punches. Buster wobbles on one knee and looks ready to fall over. Sanders backs up and gets ready to land a huge overhangs right but out of sheer force of will Buster manages to block the shot. Bradley keeps the hand at bay and stands to his feet. Before shoving the arm away with force. Bradley then launches a flurry of his own that sends Corey staggering. Buster then sends him of the ropes before catching Sanders and lifting him into a military press slam.

Match Four – Single’s Match
David Stone vs. Danny Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

David Stone and Danny Oliver stand in the ring across from one another as they wait for the bell to ring. Danny looks excited to be in the ring with the legendary Stone but David has a deep grimace on his face. As the ref calls for the match to begin and both men come to the center of the ring. The two wrestlers lock up and jockey for position, trying to get a better hold to launch their offense. Stone quickly snaps into a tight headlock and squeezes down on Danny’s head. Oliver falls to one knee as David wrenches harshly and holds on tightly. Danny twists and ducks into Stone and tosses him with a fireman’s carry. As Stone begins to get up Danny pulls his opponent into a headlock of his own.

Stone fights on one knee and continues to struggle as his head is cranked roughly. David elbows back into his opponent to get some space and works his way to his feet, once he does, however, Danny whips him over with a headlock takedown and continues the cranking on the ground. Stone rolls to the side slightly and uses the free space to roll Danny back and free himself. Danny rolls through and gets to his feet as Stone gets back to his. Oliver rushes in for a clothes line but Stone ducks and moves to follow Danny. The portly Oliver brother surprises everyone with his agility as he leap frogs over Stone. They both hit the ropes again and come back at one another. Danny leaps to attempt a flying forearm but Stone rolls under it, letting his opponent fly harmlessly overhead and crash into the mat.

Danny starts to get up but David kicks him back down and begins the Wrestler’s tap dance, stomping his downed opponent. Danny manages to roll away and starts to stand. Stone lets him get to his feet before hitting a chopping block to drop him once more. David lifts Danny back up and begins pelting him with hard punches, ending the assault with a hard kick to the gut leading up to the even flow DDT. Stone covers the downed Oliver.

Once Stone’s leg gets tired of stomping he picks Danny back up and attempts a bulldog.

As Stone leaps into the air Danny reverses the move with a back suplex, dropping Stone on the back of his head. Both men stay on the ground for a moment as they try to recover. The official begins the count.

David holds Danny up in the air for a moment, showing off his impressive strength by keeping the hefty Oliver in the air for several seconds before letting him crash down onto the ground.

Danny lets go immediately as the ref calls for the bell. The younger Oliver raises his hands in victory but turns just in time to eat a clothesline from Maddogg who had ran in from the audience!

David gets to his feet slowly before going to join his partner stomping the prone Danny in the corner. The team of New Found Glory receives a loud chorus of boos but they ignore it as they continue to kick and stomp the downed Oliver. The boos change suddenly to cheers as Danny’s brother, Jared, rushes down the ramp.

The elder Oliver slides in and runs to super kick Maddogg over the ropes. David Stone turns to attack Jared but he ducks under the punch and launches another super kick that sends Stone out of the ring as well. Danny gets to his wobbly feet but soon stands beside his brother both daring the other team to come back in. Maddogg and Stone, both already tired from their own matches, decide to retreat as the Dogs of War stand reunited in the ring.

~*~*~

While this spot on the card was reserved for the contest between Tiami Erickson and Ultimate Wrestling Champion Eavan Maloney, it was announced earlier tonight that due to the hurricane plaguing the US, both competitors had found their travel schedules in such upheaval that getting to Vancouver was impossible.

The crowd, though disappointed, is still looking forward to their main event though, in which they will see their inaugural Universal Tag Team Champions crowned. The first ‘EOB’, ‘RUBY’, and ‘CORP! CORP! CORP!’ chants start to fill the arena. But rather than being hit with the theme songs of either team, they hear Amaranthe’s Nexus fill the arena!
The crowd rise to their feet and there are massive cheers as Lara Pegorino appears atop the entrance ramp! Instead of any of the aforementioned chants, there is now a ‘WELCOME BACK’ aimed directly at the General Manager… or is she? As she walks down to the ring, clad in a black-and-white skirted business suit and almost impossibly high heels, people make the bow-down gesture as she walks past. She winks at them, and as she gets in the ring, is handed a microphone by Sylvie Rose, who sneaks in a quick hug before Lara takes center stage in the middle of the ring.

Once the chants have died down, Lara says she has done some soul searching in recent weeks. After what happened during the Hell in a Cell match between Lucilla and Amy, she doubted herself and her professional integrity. And to a woman who has always prided herself on being a consummate pro, there is no greater shame than that. So after the show, she went to Lise Fortier to hand in her resignation. But the CEO refused.

Upon hearing that, the crowd popped. Lara smiled, and then continued, saying that Lise suspended her without pay indefinitely to give her a chance to think it over, and figure out exactly what it was she wanted. And that if by Anything Goes she still wanted to quit, then she’d let her go.
The crowd falls silent, anxiously awaiting her next words.

Lara says she wondered about what she wanted most in life. And while running her own business was very fulfilling, there was simply quite nothing like the pure adrenaline rush of UWE. Which is why, effective immediately, she is resuming her post as General Manager of Over the Top!
The crowd cheers, and Lara smiles once again. She then proceeds to make a few announcements. First of all, the Ultimate Wrestling Champion may not be here tonight, but she WILL be at Anything Goes, where she WILL defend her title, against none other than the man she took it from: James Calhoun. The cowboy is officially invoking his rematch clause. After weeks of silence, the Callous One will finally reemerge, ready to take back what was his.

On top of that, the Canadian Championship will also be defended, against a man who has a lot of hype surrounding him… as well as quite a few stable members. The Armenian Beast will return to action to defend the maple leaf belt against Jake Donaldson, leader of Torment! As for who the challengers to the tag team titles will be… that will remain a surprise!

Lara stops her speech and is met with rapturous applause as she waves and exits the ring. The boss is back, baby!

Corporal Punishment & Ruby vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Ruby and Corporal Punishment are the first to come out, to standing ovations all over. They make their way to the ring, high-fiving as many fans as possible along the way, and as Ruby flips over the top rope, the crowd goes insane. Punishment ascends the turnbuckles, saluting the crowd.

When their music dies down, Ruby and Punishment await their opponents.

Except they never arrive.

Ruby and Punishment both look puzzled, until the titantron finally springs to life, showing shaky cam footage. It shows an unconscious Adeline La Roux, laying against the wall, a crimson mask adorning her face. Heavy grunts are heard off-camera until a loud clang of steel on flesh can be heard. The camera sweeps to the side and sees a large silhouette standing voer the unmistakable body of the Silver Bullet, Wülf Erikson. Once the figure slowly turns around, his face was revealed.

Asylum. The Masked Madman obviously blindsided both Bullets with a steel chair. He starts cackling like only he can, his laughter chilling the blood in your veins. He throws the chair to his side. What was this? A sick favor to Ruby? What is going on?

As the camera cuts back to ringside, the tiny Canadian looks perplexed. She looks at Chuck Aitken, who tells her he has no other choice than to declare them winner by forfeit, but Ruby shakes her head. Not like this.

She rolls out of the ring, and rushes backstage, with Punishment in pursuit, hoping they can stop Asylum from wreaking more havoc. A camera follow them until they arrive at the aforementioned carnage. Ruby tends to Adeline and shouts for some medical help, pronto! Corporal Punishment checks up on Wülf Erikson. There is not a sign of Asylum, but once the Corporal helps the shaken Silver Bullet to his feet, Asylum rushes in out of nowhere, carrying a kendo stick! He swings wildly at Erikson, but Punishment shoves him out of the way so that Asylum hits nothing but wall. He is ready to go after the Corporal thought, but is suddenly tackled down by a team of at least six security members who take down the lunatic. They are followed suit by Lara Pegorino, who orders them to restrain him and escort him out of the building.

She then turns to Adeline, Wulf, Ruby and Punishment. She says that because of this incident, the match can’t take place tonight, but that their final will instead be moved to Anything Goes… where the teams will meet up in a tornado tag team steel cage match, to keep it free of interference!

Meanwhile, medical staff rush in and take a look at Adeline and Wulf as the show comes to a close.

OVER THE TOP XXVII

Location:
UWE Studio’s, Vancouver

Brandon Moore vs. Matt Moore

After losing out in the tournament, are the Moore Brothers at odds? Some strange events occurred last week as Matt interfered in Brandon Moore vs. Danny Oliver. He dismantled them both and left without a word. The way he went about it seemed…supernatural. Brandon demanded he get his brother in the ring and the powers that be decided, why wait? They get to kick off the show!

Match Two – Single’s Match
Maddogg Mike Rosati vs. Lupus Onyx

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Maddogg has promised, or maybe threatened, to be a regular at UWE from now on. His opponent this week is Lupus Onyx, someone who wants to prove he belongs Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment. Both men want the win but only one man can have it. Facing a Hall of Famer is no easy task on your debut, but Lupus has plenty of experience!

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Corey Sanders

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Buster made his first match worthwhile. And with Torment looking to get back into the swing of things, Corey Sanders has a tough task ahead. Two relative newcomers to Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment. Momentum is everything these days with superstar after superstar clawing for greatness. Look for someone’s stock to rise after this bout.

Match Four – Single’s Match
David Stone vs. Danny Oliver

(Referee: Corey Miner)

The personification of Perfection will be looking to get back on the winning side after a loss to Ruby but to do so he’ll need to go through Danny Oliver. After his own match ended in no contest because of interference Danny is just as eager to pick up a win. Stone’s bout was a particularly gruelling one, but he managed to provide one hell of a main event. Can he do itagain against the enthusiastic Danny?

Match Five – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Eavan Maloney

Former friends who now walk into the ring as rivals. The title isn’t on the line this time but the stakes are still just as big for these two competitors. The Ice Queen meets the Warrior. No doubt the fans will be ecstatic to see the champion again as she gears up for her title defense at Anything Goes. After a light ankle injury, here’s hoping she’s in good shape. She’ll have to be if she wants to stop Tiami from bringing her momentum to a screeching halt!

Show Opener
The Empire vs. The Hapless Ones

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Posted Image

The first match of the evening was about to begin and the Hendrix twins headed out to loud booing. The brothers looked confused at the reception but quickly blow off the jeers and start down towards the ring.

About halfway down the ramp the Hendrix entrance music stops and The Man Comes Around by Johnny Cash begins to play. The tag team stops and begins looking around in confusion about the switch. They look at one another then shrug.

The giant screen above the entrance ramp jumps to life. Across it is the video of a white stallion being ridden by someone dressed in what looks like a grim reaper costume. The twins talk amongst themselves trying to figure out what’s going on as the horse rides closer to the camera.

The rider stops close to the camera filming and points a black gloves finger straight ahead. There is then a low, deep voice that speaks on the video.

Chris and Joey Hendrix, the man has come for you.

The brothers look to one another once more and try to figure out the cryptic message. Before they can talk too much, however, a figure bursts from the audience. It is dressed in a similar way to the rider in the video was and is wielding a 2×4. The figure slams the board across Chris’ back. Joey turns but his surprise prevents him from reacting in time and he catches the 2×4 to the face. Chris is using the barricade to stand but the figure grips the board against his forearm and rushes in to ram it into the Hendrix brother’s head.

The reaper lifts both brothers up before putting them into a DDT, slamming both their skulls against the steel ramp. The figure then takes a few moments to lay stomps into rack prone Hendrix before standing and pointing at the screen. Across it are written the names…

Marcus Levine
Tiami Erickson
Timothy Hunt
Joey Hendrix
Chris Hendri

The Hendrix brother’s names are crossed out in splattered red to look like blood. Another deep voice booms.

The Man Comes Around…

Match Two – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Justin Lust

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)
It’s the inexperienced Justin Lust hoping to grab his first win in UWE facing off against Tiami Erickson, the Crimson Devil, who has him well beat in years of experience. But as the bell rings, it becomes soon apparent that the people are met with a rejuvenated Justin, as he immediately takes the fight to his former mentor’s sister.

As Tiami tries to lock up, Lust counters it into an armdrag, and another one as Tiami gets back up to her feet. Lust kicks her in the gut and tries to go for a DDT, but Tiami blocks it by hooking her foot behind his leg and kicking him in the gut, before reversing it into a front facelock suplex. Lust lands on his back, and tries to get up as soon as possible, but Tiami is quick enough to hit him with a rolling elbow before he can block the strike. Tiami starts kicking him repeatedly in the gut, driving him backwards into a corner. She dropkicks him, aking him bounce off the turnbuckles. He rebounds, and is hit with the Ice Spike! Tiami’s running bulldog flattens the rookie, and she retreats, clearly stalking him as she wants to hit the Dead As Ice. She calls for it, and the crowd goes berserk, but as Lust staggers to his feet, the lights go out!

Confused, the people wonder what is happening, and as they go back on, they see the menacing shape of Marcus LeVine atop the entrance ramp. Tiami, seething at this interruption and seeing her nemesis in the same building, turns around and leans over the ropes, daring LeVIne to step into the ring with her. But all the psychopath does is laugh at her. Disgusted, Tiami turns around.

And runs right into a Glory Hole! Lust picked the exact right time and hit his devastating finisher on the unsuspecting Tiami, wasting no time going for the pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Lust gets his feet on the middle rope for extra leverage and good emasure!
THREE!

It’s over, and Corey Miner calls for the bell!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:28
–JUSTIN LUST–

Lust gets back to his feet. If there was anyone thinking this victory would have humbled him, think again. The cocky Canuck clearly acts like he knew he was going to win all along, and as the crowd boos him as he walks past them, he flips his hair in their direction, and ignoring LeVine as he walks past them.
The psychopath can be seen mouthing the word ‘SOON’ as he looks at Tiami, who uses the ropes to get back to her feet. The look on her face says more than a thousand words. This is far from over.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Starlight

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

The double debut of Starlight and Buster Bradley had the fans excited to see what these new faces are going to be able to do in the ring. The match begins with Buster attempting to lock up with his opponent but Starlight decides she has better chances staying mobile. She sucks under Buster’s arms and plants a hard kick to the abdomen. The muscular Buster tries again but with similar results.

Starlight hits Buster in the back of the leg with a dropkick, stumbling him forward. Bradley turns and tries to counter attack but the swift starlight sucks his punch and delivers another stiff kick before launching into a furious flurry of chops and kicks. Starlight is turning Buster’s chest into tenderized hamburger meat with each stinging chop! Buster tries to throw his own attacks but every time he swings Starlight ducks and dodges around him with ease. The bigger man staggers from the quick attacks seemingly unable to get his own offense going. Starlight ends the assault with a jumping soon kick to the chest that leaves Buster reeling. The fans cheer as Starlight hits the ropes to get some momentum going before leaping into the air to attempt a crossbody splash.

Instead of her opponent hitting the mat as she expected the big man catches her in mid-flight! Starlight looks shocked and shakes her head in disbelief. The woman struggles, kicking her feet and flailing in an attempt to free herself but Buster’s grip is too strong. He lifts Starlight up before slamming her side down into his knee. He stands upright before driving her down onto his knee once more. Bradley gets up with his opponent once more and lifts her high before slamming her down onto the mat with the Body Buster! He rolls her up.

ONE!
TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:02
–BUSTER BRADLEY–

Buster holds his arm up in victory as Starlight rolls out of the ring holding her ribs as she stumbles back up the ramp.

Match Four – Single’s Match
Brandon Moore vs. Danny Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

With both of their teams out of the tag tournament, Brandon Moore and Danny Oliver find themselves in singles competition. A friendly bout is their calling for this week.

Corey Miner calls for the bell to start this match up!

Brandon and Danny begin to circle each other, sizing up an opportunity to strike. Neither sees anything worthwhile and decide to meet for a collar and elbow tie up.

They lock up and struggle to get an advantageous position. Brandon is able to get snap Danny’s head into his arms, applying a side headlock. He wrenches it in, but is surprised to found that Danny is able to drag them both backwards.

They hit the ropes and Brandon loses his grip as Danny pushes him forward. Brandon darts across the ring and rebounds. He comes back and is met by the big Danny Oliver. A shoulder check sends Brandon to the mat.

Danny is quick to drop an elbow.

Brandon rolls out of the way! He gets up and is just as quick to drop his own elbow!

But Danny moves! Danny goes to drop an elbow again, but Brandon rolls away! Danny tricked him, though!

Danny stayed on his feet instead of dropping another elbow, watching as Brandon escapes nothing. Oliver then quickly leaps and lands his back on top of Moore once he stops evading. Big boy senton!

The pace screeches to a halt now after Danny crashes onto Brandon. Oliver gets off of Moore and goes to lift him to his feet. He pulls Brandon to a nearby corner and stands him up. Danny bends down and loads up.

Big shoulder into the gut!

He follows that up with another. And another. And another!

Danny eventually backs off, listening to Corey Miner’s pleas.

Brandon stands, wobbly, in the corner. Danny comes charging back with a huge body avalanche. He crushes Brandon between himself and the turnbuckle. Moore drops to a knee, then to his stomach. Oliver moves Brandon away from the ropes, drops down, and hooks the leg! Corey Miner flies in.

One…

Two…

Shoulder off the mat!

Danny accepts that the match isn’t over yet and gets Brandon to his feet. He sends him towards the ropes with an Irish Whip. As Brandon comes back, Danny throws a lariat. Brandon ducks and keeps running!

As Brandon reaches the other set up ropes, he leaps onto the second one. Brandon springboards off and turns towards Danny Oliver…European Uppercut!

Both men hit the canvas, but Brandon isn’t staying down. Kip up! He roars at the crowd, getting himself pumped!

Brandon waits in the corner, watching Danny as he stammers to his feet.

Brandon charges!

Danny catches him and drops him with a MASSIVE spinebuster! Oh man!

Oliver stays on for the pin fall!

One…

Two…

Brandon kicks out of it!

Danny does appear a bit frustrated at this point and stays on the offensive. He sits Brandon up and drops down with a modified sleeper hold. Hoping to wear Mr. UWE down, Danny Oliver keeps on wrenching the sleeper hold. It isn’t long before the affects start to show.

Brandon’s face is turning purple and his eyes are slowly closing. He slumps over and this causes Corey Miner to come in and see if he needs to call this one off. Miner lifts Brandon’s arm.

It hits the mat.

Miner lifts Brandon’s arm a second time.

It hits the mat.

Mr. UWE’s arm is lifted up for a third time.

It hits the…

NO!

The crowd erupts as Brandon’s arm stops just short of the ring mat and the color in his face begins to return to normal. Oliver looks surprised, trying to keep the maneuver locked in.

Brandon shifts his body and is able to push himself to his feet as the sleeper hold transitions to a side headlock.

Brandon is up and unloading elbows into Danny’s gut. After four, Danny is forced to let go of the hold. Brandon grabs an arm before he can escape and whips him into a corner.

Following after him, Brandon speeds! He climbs up Danny’s body with a big knee to the jaw! Corner Shining Wizard! Brandon plays to the crowd as he wraps his arm around Oliver’s head. He pulls him out of the corner, looking for a bulldog!

Instead, Danny tosses Brandon forward, keeping himself standing. Brandon quickly slides to his feet and turns back to charge at Danny. Danny tries to throw a lariat similar to earlier, but Brandon ducks under it and continues towards the corner he just pulled Danny from.

Brandon makes it to the corner and leaps onto the second rope! He leaps up to the rope!

He leaps off with a moonsault!

Brandon connects with Just Plain Better, taking Danny down to the mat! He reaches across his body and pulls on a leg, hooking it for a pin fall!

Corey Miner slides in!

One…

Two…

What?

The lights have gone out.

A few moments pass of darkness with the only sound being the murmurs of the crowd’s curiosities.

As the come back on, Corey Miner quickly rolls out of the ring. Danny Oliver has crawled to a corner and is seated there, watching. Brandon Moore stands in the center of the ring. And across from him…

His brother, Matt Moore, stands with a strange look upon his face, dressed in all black. His eyes are not normal. Brandon stares at his brother with the utmost confused expression. Matt’s eyes are blackened. His smirk is sinister.

Oh no.

Brandon knows exactly what’s happening now. He throws a big right hand at Matt, but Matt catches it and pulls him in. Matt grabs onto Brandon’s other arm and traps him. A big series of headbutts follow! This sends Brandon for a loop, especially after already giving it a go with Danny Oliver.

Matt finishes the headbutt sequence and throws Brandon onto his shoulders. He takes him over to a corner and places him onto the top rope. Before he can climb, however, Danny Oliver comes to life!

Danny clubs Matt on the back a handful of times before dragging him to the center of the ring. With Matt facing him now, Danny unleashes a flurry of punches, sending Matt reeling. Danny rebounds off of the ropes to gain momentum for something big!

Instead, he comes back and meets a painful knee to the gut that sends him flipping forward onto his back. Matt is quick to get Danny back to his feet in a double underhook position. He lifts Danny and drops him like a piledriver.

My god! That was the Demon Driver!

Danny is out of the picture now, Matt turns his focus to Brandon who is still out on the ropes. Matt throws some solid shots at Brandon for good measure before ascending the ropes with him. Hooking the arm and head, it appears as if he is going for a superplex.

Instead, Matt turns and drops Brandon to the mat with a Falcon Arrow from the top rope!

That was Darkness Falls!

Having left the two competitors in a heap, Matt stands over their bodies in the center of the ring. He drops to his knees and throws his hands out to the sides, facing the sky. That is when the lights go off yet again. When they turn back on, Matt is nowhere to be seen. Only the downed bodies of Danny Oliver and Brandon Moore are left in his wake.

This leaves Corey Miner no choice but to call the match off.

Match Five – Single’s Match
Michael Kelly vs. Ricky Molaroni

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Molaroni has impressed lately, giving his opponents all they can handle and even making it to the semi-finals of the UWE tag team tournament. He faces the returning Michael Kelly though, who is garnering quite the reputation in the wrestling business.

As soon as the bell rings, it’s obvious Michael Kelly is eager to prove his worth to the UWE Universe. After his promo earlier that night, he is determined to establish his dominance. He explodes out of the gate with a heavy knee to Ricky, who doubles over. He follows it up with another kneeshot, this time to Molaroni’s forehead, and eventually brings Molaroni down to his knees after a series of strikes aimed at his quadriceps. He goes for a plain kick to the face, but Molaroni blocks by putting his forearms in front of him. Kelly kicks again and again, trying to bust through the defenses, but Molaroni holds his ground. He rolls out of the way and gets back up to his feet.

Molaroni ducks underneath an elbow strike and nails Kelly with a Mule Kick. The Chosen One doubles over, and Molaroni locks his head in before lifting him up into suplex position. But he can’t get him over, as Kelly shiFts his weight just about enough to reverse the momentum, and hits Molaroni with a ring-shattering DDT! Michael rolls him over for a pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Ricky kicks out. Michael grins, and gets to his feet, stalking his opponent, and biding his time for now. As Molaroni gets to his knees, he pulls another trick out of his sleeve. He runs up… *WHOPP!*

Was that a #Vaughnemous? Yes, we do believe it was. Undoubtedly a little tribute to his blondest stablemate, as the soccer kick to Molaroni’s face nearly decapitates him. Ricky is dazed, and about to collapse to the mat like a sack of potatoes when Kelly decides to finish it. He makes a gun gesture at Ricky, and gives him a Date with Desti-Knee! Molaroni now entirely collapses, and Kelly covers him, hooking the leg.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 03:46
–MICHAEL KELLY–

Kelly s triumphant in his return to UWE! The Chosen One gets a standing ovation from the crowd for his strong style display, and as he leaves for the backstage area, he makes sure to give them one last token of his appreciation as he raises his arms in victory.

Main Event – Tag Team Tournament Match
David Stone vs. Ruby

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Resident Sweetheart vs. Personification of Perfection. A physical mismatch, but Ruby arguably has the biggest heart of all roster members! Still, as she stands toe to toe with David Stone, the foot and a half of size difference makes it hard to believe Ruby can salvage anything from this match. With Ruby’s partner Corporal Punishment taking a seat at the announcer’s desk next to Blake Wells, the match can get started, but not before the Corp and Stone exchange many a dirty look.

Aitken calls for the bell, and it’s obvious Stone has a simple game plan: overpower and dominate. He grabs Ruby by the throat, and lifts her up like she is a toddler. He flings her halfway across the ring and she lands hard in the corner, back-first. Stone rushes at her. Ruby gets a leg up, and Stone runs into it, but he is only momentarily deterred. He staggers back for a second, but as Ruby tries to explode out of the corner, he shoves her in the chest, pushing her straight back in the corner and follows it up with a European Uppercut that snaps her neck back.
Ruby stays in the corner, and Stone now lifts his boot up, placing it against her throat, choking her out. The crowd boo Stone mercilessly, but he just seems to enjoy putting the hurt on his opponent as he leans into it, making sure her oxygen supply is completely cut off. Luckily for Ruby, Chuck Aitken is there to break up the hold. Stone uses all of the four-count though, much to the ire of the crowd, and Aitken warns Stone that he’ll be disqualified is he pushes it any further!

Stone merely raises an eyebrow, and Irish Whips Ruby to the other side of the ring, following closely behind her and clotheslining her against the turnbuckles as soon as she lands. As Stone steps back, Ruby’s limp body falls forward. He grabs her ankle, casually drags her to the center of the ring and nonchalantly pins her by putting his foot on her chest.

ONE!

TWO!

Ruby swipes his leg away, breaking up the pin. She realizes that she needs to get some offense in and tries to get out of the way, but unfortunately for him, Stone knows it too. He blocks her escape from the ring by grabbing her ankle again, and seems to want to go for the Stone Crusher! But Ruby senses what is coming and desperately uses her free leg and her arms to get to her one foot, and nails Stone with an enzuiguiri! Stone releases her as he staggers back, before Ruby hits him with a dropsault that sends him against the ropes and nails Stone with a dragonscrew legwhip as he bounces back. Stone is down!

Ruby gets a burst of adrenaline, and nails Stone with an impressive standing 450 before following it up with a standing moonsault. She covers Stone…

ONE!

TWO!

Stone powers out, so forcefully he sends Ruby flying. He gets back to his feet, but it’s obvious the dragonscrew hurt his knee. Ruby sees the weak spot and comes flying in with a low dropkick, hitting Stone right in his weak spot. Stone collapses back to one knee, and Ruby senses an opportunity…

RUBY IN THE ROUGH!!
But Stone rolls out of the way, avoiding the devastating kneestrike his opponent has in her arsenal. He rolls through and all the way out of the ring. He tries to take a breather, but Ruby comes flying in! Topé Suicida!

A beautiful maneuver, if it weren’t for Stone, who snatces Ruby out of the air and flings her straight through the ringside barricade! The crowd boos Stone and start a Holy Shit chant almost simultaneously, as they worry their sweetheart’s hurt, but can’t deny the awesomeness of the impact. Stone stands over Ruby’s lifeless body, grinning like a fool, but as he tries to go to town on Ruby, Corporal Punishment gets up from his spot at the announce table and gets in between Stone and his target. Punishment, shakes his head, and says that he’ll not lay a finger on his partner while she’s this defenseless. Stone threatens Punishment, telling him to get out of the way, but the soldier doesn’t budge. Not until Stone hits Punishment with a Stone Cutter!

Punishment falls to the ground, and Stone grabs Ruby’s body before dumping her into the ring. He follows, and he turns around as the crowd roars. Punishment is back on his feet and slides into the ring, wanting some payback for what Stone just did to him! But Chuck Aitken, not afraid to get involved, blocks Punishment from Stone. The Personification of Perfection laughs at Punishment, who is unable to get to him. But while the soldier is obviously irate, Stone is distracted, and Ruby rolls him up from behind!

But the referee doesn’t see it, as he is still trying to get Punishment out of the ring. The soldier notices the pin attempt and exits the ring as quick as he can before Aitken finally notices it too. The senior ref drops down to the mat while Stone is still struggling to break free of the schoolgirl pin.

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! Ruby seems a bit annoyed, because if Aitken has counted sooner, she surely would’ve had him. Nevertheless, she is hurting bad, and Stone is much fresher still, and very pissed off. He grabs Ruby by the hair and lifts her up into gorilla press position, showcasing his superior strength and size. He walks around the ring with Ruby’s body, hoisted over his head like a prize and the Vancouver fans boo him mercilessly. The fans start a *FLIP*FLIP*FLIP*FLIP* chant, but Stone merely shakes his head before unceremoniously dropping Ruby to the mat. She crashes from at least 7 feet up, and lands right on her sternum. Stone drops to his knees and mocks his fallen adversary, but as he takes way too long, Ruby surprises him and rolls him up utilizing an inside cradle!

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! He is furious though, especially with Punishment cheering on the outside, and the fans’ *FLIP* chant intensifying with every passing second. Ruby feels their energy, and uses it to fuel herself. As Stone grabs her hair, she swats his hand away and screams, before unleashing a series of kicks to Stone’s knees that eventually take him down. She flattens him with completely with a Ruby Cutter, which she is still able to hit because of the size difference! She covers Stone again!

ONE!

TWO!

Stone kicks out! He is one tough customer, obviously, and Ruby realizes this. One double legdrop later, she goes to the top rope! She waits for Stone to get up, and goes for a leaping hurricanrana!
COUNTERED into a powerbomb! Ruby is savagely bombed into the mat and Stone drops down to pin her instantaneously.

ONE!

TWO!

THR-no! Ruby kicks out, much to the delight of the crowd, who go berserk for her. Stone doesn’t believe it! Punishment on the outside taunts him, talking up his partner’s toughness and Stone flips him off. Unfortunately for him, this only intensifies the *FLIP*chant even more. He ssems annoyed by the crowd’s adoration for Ruby, and he grabs her by the hair, before lifting her up and hitting her with a sidewalk slam. He picks her back up again and lifts her into stall suplex position, making sure to let all the blood rush to her head. He walks around the ring with her, one-handed, and this is not to the liking of Ruby’s tag partner, who hops on the apron. Stone walks up to him, daring him to come at him and get Ruby disqualified, but the distraction in and of itself is enough for Ruby to change momentum. She manages to plant her feet back on the ground and escapes the headlock. She knees Stone in the gut, runs the ropes…
Ruby in the Rough connects! Ruby’s knee shatters Stone’s face. Stone collapses, and the tiny Canadian, under the epic cheers of the crowd, climbs the top turnbuckle.

She screams ‘FLIP OFF? STONE!’ at the top of her lungs and takes the leap. RSD connects! Ruby in the Sky with Diamonds, indeed! She was almost up in the overhead lights, such was her elevation. She lands right on Stone’s face, and goes for the pin as the crowd rise to their feet!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!!

Winner, by pinfall at 14:16
–RUBY–

The crowd is absolutely electrified as the referee cals for the bell. Ruby doesn’t have the energy left to get back to her feet though, but her partner is there to pick her up. Punishment helps Ruby to his feet and puts his arm around her as Chuck Aitken raises her hand in victory. They’re ready for the tag team tournament finals this week, and with Ruby garnering this much momentum, they look like a speeding freight train of a team. Can the Bullets stop them? Questions, questions, as the show comes to a close.

The stage is set! Next week, at OTT XXVII we will have the grand final of the UWE Universal Tag Team Tournament! But before we get there, there are still matches to be fought, momentum to be garnered, and mmembers of management to impress, as the UWE Superstars seek to fight their way into championship contention!

Show Opener – Single’s Match
The Empire vs. The Hapless Ones

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

The Hendrix twins have been creating quite a stir in UWE since their arrival. Taking part in two brutal attacks and getting themselves eliminated from the tag tournament. They’re going to try and cause more ruckus this week. Mike and Nidia didn’t exactly part ways on the best of terms the last time they faced each other, but this will be their chance to make up!

Match Two – Single’s Match
Tiami Erickson vs. Justin Lust

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Tiami picked up a big win against Corey Sanders this week and now puts Justin Lust in her sights. The luscious haired lust will be looking to shake things up as he hopes to get a big win over the Ice queen. Word on the street is that Justin Lust has been putting in a lot of work, impressing quite a few of the UWE trainers. Don’t expect him to be a pushover this time around! While Tiami will undoubtedly be gunning for Marcus LeVine, she will be able to put him on notice by putting this week’s opponent down.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Ben ‘Buster’ Bradley vs. Starlight

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Time for some fresh faces! While ‘fresh face’ and Starlight may not exactly go together, she is new here in UWE, and will go one on one with the massive Buster, who will look to switch off the starlight before the night is through. People are wondering how Starlight will measure up in UWE, and rumors are ongoing that a bad moon is rising in UWE, and that Starlight is one of the people at the forefront. But make no mistake, Bradley will try and bust her rise through the ranks as soon as he can!

Match Four – Single’s Match
Brandon Moore vs. Danny Oliver

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

These two didn’t get an opportunity to meet in the tag team tournament but they’ll square off one on one now. Brandon has always been one of Danny’s heroes but will he be able to show this young superstar he’s still Just Plain Better? And will Jared be watching?

~*~*~

Match Five – Single’s Match
Michael Kelly vs. Ricky Molaroni

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Chosen One vs. Golden Dragon. Ricky has been impressive in his tenure at UWE, and will face the ever impressive maestro of strong style as he returns to Vancouver to wow the fans. This will be a great match that will light the UWE Studio’s on fire. Does Ricky have a Date with Desti-knee, or will Kelly burn himself on the Dragon Flame? We can’t wait to find out!

Main Event – SIngle’s Match
David Stone vs. Ruby

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

David Stone had made it known that he’s back and ready for business with a five star match against the company’s champ followed by a victory over popular newcomer Brute Rockne. Looking to deter his momentum is Ruby; the tiny Canadian is on quite a roll herself and this match will be an epic battle between two great competitors. With the tag team tournament finals waiting in the wings at OTT XXVII, Ruby will want to garner all the momentum she can here, but the tough as nails Hall of Famer will want to re-establish himself as top dog in UWE once more!
