Crunch talks!

News & Rumors

Contract renewals on the horizon?

In November last year, Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment relaunched, promising to once again dazzle the world with some of the business’ greatest athletes on display in their squared circle. Two of their very first signees were alumni Ruby and Lucilla Pegorino, one a fan favorite, the other a feared competitor and former champion.

Ruby (l.) and Lucilla (r.) have been tearing it up since UWE came back!

However, word has gotten out that they both signed a 10 month deal, due to expire in a couple of weeks. This has left many fans wondering if they will continue to see the duo on the UWE Network.

Ruby has already publicly stated her willingness to sign a new deal, but UWE management has been quiet regarding the matter. Lucilla has not publicly spoken up, but rumors are going around the UWE Studio’s that she is more than willing to ‘take all the money Lise (Fortier, UWE’s CEO -Ed.) throws her way for beating up people’.

While talks are supposed to kick off soon, there is no word yet on who will handle them. With Lara Pegorino’s future as General Manager still very much in doubt following her actions at Midsummer Massacre, UWE loses a strong negotiator who has a close and personal relationship with both these women.

It is expected that Lise Fortier will first try to settle the General Manager situation. Whether Lara Pegorino remains or not is still up in the air, but it will either be her or her successor handling these talks as the time comes.

The UWE Tag Team Tournament is now well underway. After some great matches last week, amongst which a shocking main event, we can now get ready for round two. The are no more byes from now on, as it’s straight to the finish line from here on out! Who will win the Universal Tag Team Championships?
Other than that, Shawn Lowery will make his debut against former Superbowl MVP Brute Rockne… and Ultimate Wrestling Champion Eavan Maloney will be in action against Hall of Famer David Stone, who returns to Vancouver!

~*~*~

Show Opener
Marisol Hawkes & Ricky Molaroni vs. Dogs of War – Tag Team Tournament Match

Posted Image

With Danny Oliver coming off of a solid victory to start last week’s action, he’ll hope to do the same with his brother at his side! Jared Oliver returns to action for the first time since the vicious assault at the hands of JTX. Opposite of them, two former lovers. Ricky Molaroni, whether he’ll admit it or not, cost Marisol her match last week by distracting her. Will these two former partners in life be able to handle being partners in the ring? Or will the Dogs of War show them their bite?

~*~*~

Match Two – Single’s Match
Brute Rockne vs. Shawn Lowery

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

The newest member of The Empire, Shawn Lowery, was front and center for the shenanigans that kicked off last week’s episode of Over the Top. His first challenge has been answered. The former NFL star, Brute Rockne, is one win away from sending his stock skyrocketing. Of course, Shawn Lowery will hope to prove he is the real deal in his debut contest with Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment.

Match Three – Tag Team Tournament Match
Nashville Starlets vs. Corporal Punishment & Ruby

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

The makeshift team of the Corporal and the Steampunk Pugilist put the stops to any tag belt dreams that JTX and Justin Lust held. However, LSD suffered an unfortunate injury in training and UWE HQ hasn’t heard back from him. Because of this, they allowed the Corporal to pick a tag team partner of his choosing, and he chose none other than the Tiny Canadian! But they have Torment waiting for them. Coming off of a bye, will the Nashville Starlets be fresh or rusty? Will CP and Ruby be exhausted or energized? Torment as a whole has been a reckoning force since stepping into Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment. This match up might just decide a dark horse heading into the later rounds of the tournament.

~*~*~

Match Four – Single’s Match
Torment [Heather King & Josiah Turnbow] vs. Just Plain Better

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

This always seems to be the case when it comes to Just Plain Better these days. The old school taking on the new school. Both Josiah and Heather won their debut matches in UWE, but they’ve still got a long ways to go. They can make that road easier by picking up a win against two of the best wrestlers in the world. The Moore Brothers are on a mission, but Torment is dominating the UWE ranks so far. Keep your eyes out for a match of the night in this one.

~*~*~

Match Five – Single’s Match
Eavan Maloney vs. David Stone

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

The Personification of Perfection is back! He’s got an itch to scratch and he’s told management to throw anyone his way! Well guess what, David? You’ve got yourself a match against the new Ultimate Wrestling Champion! Eavan spoke last week about declaring war on the Badd Breed or anyone who intends on bringing villainous ways into the UWE. This week, she’ll put on a wrestling spectacle against a returning Hall of Famer. We’re giddy about this one.

Main Event
The Empire vs. #EOB

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

A ring might not be able to contain this main event match. The winner gets to take on the victor of the previous tournament match that took place in the next round and no matter the outcome, that bout is one to look forward to. The Empire made quite the statement last week and no doubt, Wulf and Adeline are in the running to shove that statement back down their throats. This tournament is picking up steam quick and these two teams are going to set the bar tonight, that’s for sure!

A new champion. A new era? Midsummer Massacre was the time of Maloney, as the Steampunk Warrior claimed her first ever Ultimate Wrestling Championship. Following in the footsteps of Ronnie Cage and James Calhoun, she is now the face of the company. But something tells us she hasn’t gotten rid of James Calhoun just yet…
The aftershocks of #MSM will be felt for a long time to come yet. With Lara Pegorino having handed in her letter of resignation following the events during the Hell in a Cell match, the weekly shows might look a whole lot different in the future with the former UWE Champion no longer around to run things… Or will Lise forgive her, and reaffirm her trust in her?
And what about Badd Breed, who made a strong closing statement, signaling their intention to take UWE by storm? And how will UWE’s other great faction, Torment, react to that?
So many questions to be answered! But maybe none more so than: who will become the inaugural UWE Universal Tag Team Champions? The tag team tournament starts at OTT XXIII!

Show Opener
The Badd Breed addresses the UWEniverse!

UWE is live from their studios in Vancouver, British Columbia. As the footage inside the arena is shown the first sound to be heard is “Your Betrayal” by Bullet For My Valentine hitting the speakers. The second sound to be heard is the almost deafening chorus of boos that accompany the music. Onto the stage walks the cocky expression of Marcus LeVine, accompanied by The Empire, his fiancee, and the newest member of The Empire, Shawn Lawery. All five of them either have a sadistic grin or a cocky smirk. Each one of them drinks in the anger from the crowd, Chris and Joey going a step further and simply flipping them off.

They all get to the ring fairly quickly and pile in. Cassie finds a spot in one of the corners to sit on the middle turnbuckle; both of the Hendrix twins stand at either corner closest to the hard cam; Shawn simply stands to one side of the ring; and Marcus, after grabbing a microphone, hops through the middle rope facing the hard cam and sits on it. As he lifts the microphone to his lips an ecstatic sigh passes his lips before he starts to speak:

“I know what you’re all thinking. Where’s the rest of The Badd Breed? Where’s Tiami, where’s Timothy, where’s Valentine and Misery? Well, simply put, I asked them to step back for me. I wanted to come out here with The Empire because I wanted to speak to you people face to face. I wanted to answer all of those questions burning in the back of your mind. But first, I wanted to ask a question:

Where is James Calhoun? Joey, have you seen Calhoun around anywhere?” Marcus tilted the microphone to Joey in the corner, who simply shook his head, “No? Damn. Hey, Chris, do you know where James Calhoun is?” Marcus did the same thing to Chris had he had done to Joey, and got the same reaction.

“Dang. You know, it’s almost like something happened to him. Oh, wait, that’s right. We kicked his ass, didn’t we? We sent him to the damn hospital, didn’t we? We drilled his head straight into the mat, didn’t we? We ended Midsummer Massacre standing over that lifeless sack of S-H-I-T, didn’t we?

The BaddBreed, The Empire, we made him look like even more of a chump than he already was. Now, he went and ran on home with his tail between his legs because he knows what we do! It’s the Badd Breed, and we DOMINATE the wrestling world!”

A low buzz of feedback is heard next, stopping Levine’s rant in his tracks. Everyone’s attention is turned to the screen now, where the Badd Guy, the green grinning face signifying a Badd Breed production appears. It flickers a few times, and then cuts very suddenly to a face that gets a pop around these parts, the FIW Rising Champion and leader of the Badd Breed, all 6’6″ and 267 pounds of Erik Holland sitting in a plain white room, the unfamiliar championship displayed on his shoulder as Erik glowers at the screen through black painted eyes.

The voice of Erik Holland filled the speakers, “That’s enough.

All of this. All of this is ENOUGH, Levine. Y’know when you met with me face to face, one on one, and I told you about the MISSION of the Badd Breed, you looked me in the eye and you nodded your head and you said you lived and would fight for the Breed. That you’d do what the Breed does everywhere in the world, in UWE, in FIW, everywhere; and that’s provide world class matches and top tier excitement against any opponent, and terminate–with prejudice–anyone who threatens the ability of promotions we are active in to entertain the people. The Badd Breed is necessary here in UWE for just that reason; yet I keep hearing that the spotlight is on you and you alone, Levine, instead of my whole family as a collective, as it SHOULD be.

This is not what I wanted. This is not what was ORDERED to be done. You agreed that if you were gonna’ fly the Breed colours if you were gonna get the eyeballs on you that would come from joining the Breed, that you’d do it the honourable way. You’d do it MY way. Yet you’re hitting people from behind, you’re going WAY too far, you’re forcing the people of the UWE not to trust you and by extension not trust MY Breed, My FAMILY, and I’m supposed to cosign it? The FAMILY is supposed to cosign it, right?

No.

Not gonna happen.

Levine, I’ve talked to you again and again and concluded that your vision and that of the Breed aren’t concurrent. That you’re doing more harm to the Badd Breed than you are doing good. So I’m gonna’ do us all a favour. You are EXCOMMUNICATED from my family, you’re OUT of the Badd Breed, and no longer will you fly our colours or claim our mission. So walk away from us now and that’ll be the end of it. But as faithful of friends as we were, Levine, if you decide to make enemies out of the Breed you’ll find we are faithful at THAT, too.”

Inside the arena, people cheer as Marcus, The Maniac, The Montreal Mawler was kicked out of The Breed. Everyone expected an explosion of anger from the Maniac, but he simply started to laugh. He got off of the middle ropes facing the hard cam and found a new seat on the middle ropes facing the tron. He kept laughing, kept this maniacal grin that ate at the people in the crowd, and that ate at Erik Holland too.

Marcus started talking again, “Erik, I’m so glad you could join us this evening. I’m sure you’ve been thinking a lot about what happened at Massacre. I’m sure you were watching it live, seeing what, as you said, your FAMILY would be up to that evening. I know you watched at home as I got the Badd Breed to do something you could never do: pull that god damned trigger. I did what you wish you could do Erik. I made the Badd Breed stand for something. You want to put on great matches and I’m happy to do that, I do it all the time. I’m the best damn wrestler on the face of planet earth, on my worst day I put on 4-star match, and on my best day, I break the freaking rating system. Call me Shenron cause if I’m in the vicinity you’ve got seven stars right there, baby.

You know what you are Holland. You are the epitome of a fabulist. You have created such a grand visage for yourself that even you buy into your own bull. You’re a man who started the Badd Breed cause he wanted to screw the system. He wanted to stick it to the guy in charge and tell them to piss off. What did you really do though? You became the boss. You created a legion of ass-kissers who follow you around like they’re puppets in suspension. I offer something REAL. My biggest piece of evidence that you’re a liar? I offer these people an actual choice, actual rebellion, and you see that as a reason for termination, a reason for excommunication, YOU are what you despise Holland. You’re the authority, you’re the boss. Look at me, look at Chris and Joey, Look at Shawn, they’re out here because they know that I don’t want to control them. I want to offer them actual freedom. If Tiami and Hunt want to toe the line if Valentine and Misery wanna toe the line if YOU wanna toe the line then go ahead.

You’re a fake prophet to a god which you created in your own head. I’m a catalyst for change.”

Marcus dropped his microphone and slipped back into the ring, calling his stable mates to join him. He was ready to leave the ring when suddenly “Calling” by VAMPS hit the speakers. Marcus rolled his eyes once again as Tiami Erickson bolted out from behind the country and towards the ring, microphone in hand.

“Really? Really?! Chris, Joey, what the HELL are you two doing? You two are my family, you’re my cousins. You’re picking Marcus over The Breed, over your family?” Tiami had reached the ring at this point and quickly slid inside. “And you, Marcus, what have you done to them? What did you do to my brothers? This isn’t about the breed, why are you tearing my FAMILY apart Marcus?”

Marcus was simply laughing in her face as behind her, her two brothers set up. Marcus kept laughing like a mad man before out of nowhere he pushed Tiami backwards, and as soon as she was in the centre of The Empire, Marcus, Chris, and Joey all sent superkicks towards her, nailing her with Concussive Melody.

Marcus wasted no time as he pointed towards Sean Lowery as well, getting him to drag Tiami up once again, wrapping his arms around her neck, and hitting a vicious Nightmare Fuel. Tiami landed practically vertical on her face before crashing to the mat and rolling to the side. All five members of The Empire simply laughed before leaving the ring. Tiami was barely moving as the group got out of the ring and went backstage.

Match One – Single’s Match
Danny Oliver vs. Chris Hendrix

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Danny slides his hoodie off and tosses it to his brother who exits the ring to stand next to the apron. As the younger brother heads for the center of the ring he gives a wary glance at the other members of Badd Breed at ringside.

After checking each wrestler for foreign objects the official calls for the hell. Chris and Danny circle quickly as each competitor looks for an opening in their opponent.
The two lock up and begin fighting for position.

Danny quickly ducks under Chris’ arm and gets a body lock. Before he can capitalize however Hendrix elbows back to break Danny’s hold before spinning into a hammer lock. Danny grunts as his arm is wrenched but manages to break free before pulling Chris into a headlock.

Chris stomps on Danny’s foot to break the hold them kicks out hard into his opponent’s gut, causing Danny to bend forward.

Chris bounces off the ropes and comes in on the offensive but Danny surprises him by dropping to one knee and sending Hendrix to the canvas with a fireman carry.

Chris pops back up and the two go back to circling in the center of the ring.

Chris was quick to go back on the attack, he dove towards Danny and picked his leg out from under him. Danny fell to the mat and Chris quickly leapt to straddle Danny, picking his arms and rolling him onto his back. Chris arched himself backwards and grabbed Danny’s arm, going straight into the Prawn Hold, but only getting a two.

Both men were back to their feet quickly, Chris just a second faster, getting Danny up against the ropes. He nodded towards his brother, who walked to the middle of the ringside area, standing right behind Danny. Chris sent Danny flying to the other side of the ropes, and as Danny rebounded he ducked underneath his arm. Without skipping a beat Chris darted to his left, and Joey grabbed the ankle of Danny, sending him falling face first to the mat again. His head bounced, and he clutched at his nose, but the pain wasn’t over and Chris was back in the center of the ring hitting a sliding single leg drop kick.

Chris dragged Danny to the center of the ring and went for a pin again, this time only getting a one. He smacked the mat, clearly irritated as he climbed back to his feet, waiting for his opponent to rise as well. Danny was getting to a knee, and Chris was quick to go on the assault. He sent his leg flying for a roundhouse, and Danny ducked. Chris’s reactionary skills were quick though as he simply tilted his body to face away from Danny, grabbed his ankle as it was above Danny’s head, and released it to send it flying into the back of Danny’s head. Once again Danny was forced to go down to the mat, the fans letting out a loud boo as Chris simply flipped them off. Marcus was set up on one side of the ring, and Joey set himself up at the other. Chris straddled Danny once again, wrapping his arms around Oliver’s waist.

Marcus stepped onto the apron, distracting the referee. Chris nodded at his brother, who slid into the ring while the ref was distracted. Both of the Hendrix twins eyes continued to dart towards the ref, and Danny’s brother Jared went to where Marcus and the ref were, trying to yell at the ref to turn around. All Jared did, however, was distract the ref even more. The referee was yelling at Jared to get out of that area of the ring, to step away from the Empire. Chris lifted Danny to his feet, and Joey sent a staggering superkick into Danny’s jaw, sending him flying. Joey was quick out of the ring, and Chris was quick to snap off the German suplex. The ref, who heard the impact, turned around just too late to see Chris in the ring, but just in time to see the bridging pin.

One!
Two!!
Thre–NO!!

Danny barely got his shoulder up.

Chris lifts Danny to his feet, on the way up the younger Oliver surprises his foe by darting in and lifting him up for a hard double leg takedown. Chris arches his back in pain as Danny hits the ropes to come back in for an elbow drop.

The Dog of War lifts Chris up once more before sending him back to the mat with a gut wrench suplex. Danny rolls the Empire member up in an attempted pin.

One!
Two!

Chris gets his shoulder up! Danny huffs I’m irritation as he stands. Chris begins to get up as well and Danny goes on for another attack. Hendrix reacts faster, however, as he hits Danny with a quick gut kick followed by two hard forearms. Chris hits the ropes in an attempted body press but Danny reverses it with a snap powerslam.

Danny tries for another cover but outside the ring Joey puts his brother’s foot on the rope then yells for the ref who stops the count at two.

As Danny stands up Jared comes over and pulls Joey away from the apron. The two begin to argue when LeVine comes in to hit the elder Oliver from behind. Danny heads for the ropes to help his brother but the ref orders him back then turns to begin yelling at the men brawling outside the ring.

Danny turns back to Chris just in time to see Joey flying in for a drop kick. The ref turns back to the wrestlers but just misses Joey rolling out of the ring as Chris gets back to his feet. Chris hits the ropes then leaps into the air diving to hit Danny with a falling elbow drop. The Empire member then stands and lifts Danny up to hit the DDT. Hendrix rolls to the pin. Meanwhile outside the ring Jared had managed to get hold of a chair and is brandishing it to keep the Badd Breed at bay.

Danny gets a shoulder up. Chris is looking frustrated and pulls Danny to his feet once more before attempting a Samoan drop. He tries to lift but Oliver has close to a hundred pounds on the smaller man. Undeterred he tries again…and on the third attempt manages to pull it off. Chris gets back to his feet and holds his back in pain. Hendrix then lifts Danny once more and attempts another German suplex. Oliver blocks the attempt and spins around to deliver a devastating triple suplex to Hendrix!

Danny stands and yells out which gets the crowd cheering. The younger Oliver then picks Chris up and hooks a leg, launching an Exploder suplex and hitting the D-Town Detonator. Chris lands with a thud and rolls to the ropes. Joey hurries over to check on his brother, slipping him a metal rod as he does. Danny comes over to grab his opponent but Joey jumps up onto the apron and blinds Danny with the From the East mist. Chris hurries to his feet and hits Danny with the metal rod and attempts to toss it out of the ring. The disoriented Hendrix aims the wrong way however and tosses the object directly at the referees feet. The official calls for the bell and Jared rushes into the ring with his chair to chase the Empire away before checking on his brother.

WINNER, by DQ at 11:28

Match Two – Tag Team Tournament Match
JTX & Justin Lust vs. Corporal Punishment & Leon Saint Dane

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Justin Lust and Leon Saint Dane begin the tag match, each man sizing the other up before locking up in the center of the ring. LSD quickly takes the advantage by pulling Lust’s head down into a stiff European uppercut that stumbles the wild haired wrestler. Saint Dane continues his attack with a trip of hard forearms followed by a quick drop kick that sends Justin to the ground. The fans give LSD a cheer and he follows up on his attack with a crucifix head scissors as Justin gets back to his feet. LSD lifts his opponent back up before dropping him back to the canvas with a snap suplex. So far LSD is in complete control. That changes however as he rebounds off the ropes only to be clubbed in the back by JTX.

The ref and Leon both look back at the pink haired grappler who reigns innocence. LSD shakes his head and then goes back to his opponent who surprises Saint Dane with a leg lariat. Leon takes several hard and vicious stomps before fighting back to his feet. LSD then tries to go back on the offensive but gets countered by a rough reverse atomic drop. Justin ignores the warning from the official as he lifts LSD to his feet and whips him into the corner. On his way over to his foe Lust tags JTX in and the duo begin to kick Leon hard in the ribs. The ref begins counting but both Justin and JTX ignore it as Lust whips his partner at LSD. JTX reverses the whip and Justin uses the extra momentum to deliver a huge enzuiguiri that crumbles LSD to the floor. Lust rolls out of the ring as JTX rolls up Leon.
1
2
Kick out by LSD. JTX grimaces and stomps his anger out on Saint Dane. JTX then lifts the prone opponent to his feet before performing a swinging neck breaker. The hot pink grappler smirks at the booing audience as he mounts LSD and begins raining down hard punches. The closed fist strikes continue until the count of four. JTX stands and waves mockingly at the crowd as Leon tries to crawl to his corner. LSD lifts his hand to tag but JTX stomps on the desperate man’s fingers.

JTX picks up his foe and hits him with several hard strikes that drive a staggered LSD into the corner once more. Once there the pink haired wrestler launches hard chops. Once JTX feels he’s punished Leon enough he backs up and charges the corner. LSD manages to swing out of the way leaving JTX to crash into the corner. Leon then springboards up to kick JTX in the head and both men lay on the mat.

LSD begins trying to crawl to his corner to tag in his partner while JTX starts to use the ropes to stand. Corporal Punishment leans over the ropes as far as he can and reaches his hand out. The crowd chants and cheers for Leon as he closes in but JTX is now back on his feet and heads over to cut him off. The pink haired wrestler grabs hold of Leon’s leg and begins to pull him back. I’m desperation Saint Dane rolls over and kicks at JTX, hitting him in the face and staggering the man. Leon then uses the momentum of his leg being let go to roll back and tag Punishment in.

The fans let out a huge cheer as the Corporal takes the ring, dropping JTX with a huge lariat. Justin tries to enter the ring to help his mentor but punishment charges at him and clothesline him out onto the ring floor. Punishment eggs the crowd on as he walks back to the fallen JTX picking him up and lifting him into a stalling suplex. The corporal salutes the cheering fans before bringing JTX crashing down to the mat. Punishment then drags the pink haired wrestler over to a corner before mimicking a fun shot. The crowd goes wild as Punishment slams JTX into the turnbuckle over and over as he performs the 21 gun salute.

Satisfies with his work Punishment then hurls JTX into the other corner and rushes over to hit a shoulder block. As JTX reels Justin slaps him on the back. Punishment doesn’t notice however and lifts JTX to the top turnbuckle before hitting the flight school! Punishment goes for the cover!

The ref doesn’t count however and the confused corporal looks for an explanation. He gets one in the form of a low drop kick to the face. Justin stomps on the downed soldier’s face several more times before dropping an elbow into the man’s sternum and trying for a pin.

1
2
Punishment is up! Justin lifts the man back up and slams his face into the ground with a full Nelson face buster. Lust isn’t finishes however, he pick a Punishment up again and drops him with an arm trap neck breaker. Lust goes for another pin, this time grabbing a hand full of wrestling gear for leverage.
1
2
No! Even with the extra leverage Justin can’t hold the soldier down! Lust picks him up again and locks in a tight headlock and begins squeezing the life out of Punishment. The soldier goes to one knee and the ref begins to check him.
His arm falls once.
It falls twice…
Punishment’s arm begins to go down a third time but at the last second he shoots it back up and puts his hand in Justin’s hair. The soldier doesn’t pull however he simply applies what looks like a noogie. Justin releases immediately and begins trying to straighten his hair. JTX is screaming at his partner but the frantic Lust doesn’t hear as he tries to straighten his mane. He turns just in time to eat a spear from Punishment who covers. JTX tries to break up the pin but he’s cut off by a drop kick from LSD.

3!

Punishment has pinned JTX, the team of Corporal Punishment and Leon Saint Dane wins!

WINNERS, by pinfall at 09:58
–CORPORAL PUNISHMENT & LEON SAINT DANE–

The victors celebrate then head out of the ring together as the shocked Justin still can’t believe it. He begins to stand when suddenly Danny Oliver runs down the ramp with a chair. JTX flees the ring as Justin finds himself trapped in a corner. The worried Lust frantically begs for Danny not to hit him. Oliver asks for a mic then addresses Justin.

Danny: I wanted to come down here and give you what you deserve, Justin, a taste of your own medicine but now I realize it wouldn’t be right. I’m better than you, Lust and I won’t stoop to your level! I do want a match though and you best be ready because if I win I’m shaving off your luscious locks…if the clippers can get through all that hair spray!

Danny drops the mic and turns to leave. As he does Lust jumps up and charges in for an attack. Danny suddenly spins around and flattens Justin with the chair as the fans roar. Oliver rolls out of the ring and JTX rolls in to help his partner.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Amy Gobraless vs. Caliee Adams

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Amy Gobraless is still visibly banged up from her grueling Hell in a Cell encounter against Lucilla. Nevertheless, she came away victorious that night, and tonight faces one of UWE’s most promising and beloved up-and-coming talents: Caliee Adams.
Amy seems none too impressed as the bell rings, however. She immediately locks up with Caliee in the middle of the ring, and the much more experienced wrestler manages to push the rookie back into a corner. She then lands a vicious chop on the front of Caliee’s chest, who writhes in pain, clutching at the mark Amy’s hand left.
Amy enjoys her handiwork tremendously, and lifts Caliee’s chin up, giving her a wider and easier target. She unleashes a second chop, the sound of which reverberates throughout the arena, and she grins as Caliee doubles over under the boos of the crowd. Amy takes a few steps back, and spreads her arms wide, as if asking ‘is this al you got for me?’ The crowd continues to boo her, but they turn around in a cheer, as Caliee takes use of the distraction, rolling her up from behind!!

ONE!
TWO!

Amy kicks out! The savvy vet has the presence of mind to not be completely taken by surprise, and immediately gets back to her feet before levelling Callie with a massive clothesline that turns Caliee inside out and leaves her motionless on the mat. Amy wipes her mouth with the back of her hand, and kicks Caliee viciously in the head. She calls to the crowd that she’s going to fonish her, and as she stands over Caliee’s back looking for the Visions of Amy, she is interrupted by a very well-known entrance theme!

Lucilla steps out to ringside under the tunes of ‘Far From Any Road’. She’s limping, but the look on her face means business! Looking at Amy like she just found a turd in her shower cabin, Lucilla slowly walks down the ramp, with Amy now leaning over the ropes, daring her to come closer.

But then Lucilla holds up her hands, and starts backing away. Amy SPITS in her direction in disgust, and then turns around to focus back on her opponent.

SIMPLY CALIEE TO THE FACE!

Completely oblivious to the fact that Caliee was waiting for her, Amy got hit by the rookie’s finisher. And UWE’s Baby wastes no time getting that pin in!

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

WINNER, by pinfall at 04:11
–CALIEE ADAMS–

The referee calls for the bell! Caliee Adams has defeated Amy Gobraless. The rookie rolls out of the ring, smiling as Sylvie Rose calls out her name, officially declaring her the winner of the match. Lucilla looks on, applauding from atop the entrance ramp, laughing at Amy’s defeat.
Flawless Miss Gobraless gets back up, and realized what happened. As she starts a rampaging tirade the likes of which Vancouver has never seen, we cut to a commercial break.

Match Four – Tag Team Tournament Match
Controversial Demons vs. Just Plain Better

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

These two teams have been looking forward to this match all week. We saw at the beginning of the show, Tiami Erickson was assaulted by the Empire, no longer members of the Badd Breed. Unfortunately for the Controversial Demons, the brutal superkick has left Tiami in the back.

Regardless of her insisting, Timothy vowed to do the job on his own. The Moore Brothers are visibly disappointed when they see only Timothy in the ring, but the show must go on. Matt, Brandon, and referee Chuck Aitken all make sure that Timothy Hunt wants to do this on his own.

Timothy is adamant and he starts the match off with Matt. The bell rings and this thing is on! A handicap match it is! The two lock up by the collar and elbow, jockeying for position. Timothy is able to break Matt’s hold and slip behind him. He locks the waist and takes Matt down!

Timothy floats over to Matt’s front and applies a headlock. Matt is quick to kip up out of the headlock and applies his own when Timothy stands and charges him. Hunt is able to back them against the ropes and send Matt across the ring. As Matt comes back, Timothy hits a beautiful dropkick!

Matt drops and Timothy goes for a quick cover!

One…

Two!

Kick out right at the two count.

Matt hurries to the corner and tags Brandon, surprised that Timothy got the better of him like that.

As soon as Brandon enters the ring, Timothy is on him! Hunt leaps at him with a forearm, sending him back into his own corner. Hunt then sends the same type of forearm to Matt, knocking him off the apron. Hunt is taking the fight to Just Plain Better!

Timothy whips Brandon over to the opposite corner. He follows him closely and lands a big corner splash! Brandon stumbles out as Timothy climbs atop the turnbuckle. Brandon groggily turns towards Hunt. Timothy dives out! Diving DDT! He goes for the cover! Chuck Aitken moves in!

One…

Two…

Matt comes off of the apron and slides in the ring!

Brandon is able to get a shoulder up without assistance, though!

Matt gets back on the apron as he watches Hunt keep up the onslaught. Timothy gets Brandon to his feet and hooks his arm over his shoulder. Timothy lifts Brandon up in the vertical suplex position!

Brandon twists and falls to his feet behind Hunt! Hunt quickly turns and Brandon connects with a European Uppercut!

Brandon sends the dazed Hunt into the ropes. As Timothy comes back, Brandon delivers a picturesque back body drop sending Hunt flying high through the air. Brandon comes off of the ropes by his own accord now and drops a big elbow. He stays on for the cover!

One…

Timothy forces Brandon off of him!

Brandon stays on Hunt, laying in a handful of stomps. He then gets Timothy to his feet. Brandon goes for a double underhook of the arms. Timothy breaks out, however! He flips Brandon over him, but Brandon lands on his feet. Timothy hits the ropes! He comes back and…

Meets a big spinning heel kick from Brandon! Another cover!

One…

Two…

Timothy kicks out!

Brandon, knowing that he and his brother have the advantage, is simply looking to put this one away. Brandon drags Timothy towards Just Plain Better’s corner. Forgoing the tag for the moment, Brandon hoists Timothy onto the top of the turnbuckle. Brandon calls for a tag from his brother, but there’s still life in Hunt!

Hunt sends a big sidekick from the top rope to Matt, knocking him off of the apron! He follows this with a huge flurry of punches down onto Brandon. Timothy has a hold of Brandon’s head so he can’t go to for and he brings him in closer! He spins off and connects with Tornado DDT!

Both men are down as Matt stirs on the outside, slowly pulling himself up onto the apron. Chuck Aitken sees both downed competitors beginning to crawl their way to their respective corners, deciding not to start a count. Timothy doesn’t have anyone to crawl to, though…or does he?!

The crowd absolutely erupts as a wobbly jog from Tiami Erickson brings her through the entrance curtain and down the ramp! Potentially concussed or not, she’s in this thing! Tiami makes it to the ring and climbs the steps, grabbing the tag rope, stretching her hand as far as she can out to her lover.

Simultaneously, Brandon and Timothy lunge to their partners. Tags are made! Matt enters the ring and charges the corner, but Tiami gets on the top rope! Missile dropkick! Matt hurries to his feet and Tiami rebounds off of the ropes. She comes back with a big cross body block!

Matt gets up again but is a bit doubled over. Tiami hits the ropes one more time! She comes back…the Ice Spike running bulldog! A cover!

One…

Two…

Matt Moore gets a shoulder up!

Tiami is still on fire, though! She gets Matt to his feet and Irish Whips him into the corner of Just Plain Better. Brandon is finally up on the apron, but Tiami rushes at Matt anyways!

She charges forward…and Matt moves, but not before Brandon slaps him on the back. Chuck calls it a tag! Tiami’s chest bounces off of the turnbuckle pad as he face connects with Brandon’s boot. He hits her with a jumping sort of enziguiri from the apron. Matt drops to the mat to escape and rolls onto the apron. The force of the kick sends Tiami to the mat…she lands in perfect position.

Brandon climbs onto the top rope. He takes a deep breath and looks around at the crowd. What’s he going for? It’s been some time since he’s considered himself a high flyer other than the moonsaults…

Brandon shrugs and hopes for the best. He flips off of the ropes!

Brandon connects onto Tiami with a 450 Splash! MY GOODNESS! He stays on her for a cover! Chuck Aitken quickly moves in to count!

One…

Two…

Thr…

Timothy Hunt comes out of the nowhere, clubbing Brandon on the back and breaking up the count!

Matt comes into the ring now, tackling Timothy to the mat! The two start to trade punches, brawling underneath the ropes and to the ringside area. Chuck Aitken screams and hollers for them to break it up, but he has no choice other than to turn his attention back to the action in the ring.

Brandon has Tiami up to her feet, but she slaps his hands away! She sends a few slaps to Brandon, following it with a spinning back fist! With Brandon dazed, Tiami dumps him to the mat with a belly to belly suplex.

She lets out a screech, heading to the opposite side of the ring. She prepares herself and screams for Brandon to get to his feet! Brandon begins to stir, eventually standing and facing Tiami. Erickson charges forward for her Dead As Ice!

The spear is a miss! Brandon side steps and sends Tiami shoulder first into the turnbuckle post! He pulls her out of the corner and rolls her up with a schoolboy, but doesn’t connect with the pin. Instead he continues to roll her onto her stomach and quickly floats over to her feet. Brandon grabs on and sets a foot of his on the back of her leg.

He pulls Tiami’s legs up and wrenches them, bending her back in an awful way!

Scream For Moore is locked in tight!

Timothy has gotten the upper hand on Matt for the moment and sees his partner in agonizing pain. Hunt goes to slide into the ring, but Matt is able to grab a leg and keep him from entering! Matt gives Brandon just enough time to keep the hold locked in that…

Tiami taps! Submission!

WINNERS, by submission at 12:02
–JUST PLAIN BETTER–

Chuck Aitken calls for the bell and Brandon immediately lets go of the hold. Matt lets off of Timothy and they both enter the ring. Hunt is quick to hover over Tiami, making sure she is okay and even possibly voicing his disappointment at her for putting herself in danger after the events from earlier.

Chuck Aitken raises the Moore Brothers’ arms in the center of the ring as Timothy continues to check on Tiami. Sylvie Rose announces that Just Plain Better advances in the Universal Tag Team Championship Tournament and will fact representatives of Torment next week, Josiah Turnbow and Heather King!

Speaking of King, she’s in action against Marisol Hawkes next!

Match Five – Single’s Match
Heather King vs. Marisol Hawkes

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

With first round byes in the tag team tournament, these two competitors are wanting to stay fresh. Heather King is making her in ring debut against another debuting star, Marisol Hawkes! Claudia Morello calls for the bell and the two women lock up in the center of the ring.

Marisol Hawkes gets the upper hand with a big clubbing blow to Heather. Heather drops to a knee, only to be hit with another huge blow. Heather hits the mat and Marisol shows off to the crowd. She soaks up whatever reaction they can get, happy to be here in the UWE and showing her ability to easily dismantle Heather King in her mind.

She gets a bit distracted, however. Coming down the entrance ramp is none other than her tournament partner, and ex-boyfriend, Ricky Molaroni. Marisol notices this and starts to scream for him to leave. Ricky states he just wants to be at ringside for her match to support her. Marisol says to leave it for the tournament and get out of her. She’s going to do this on her own.

The arguing continues with Ricky. Neither are getting what they want. Marisol can’t get Ricky to leave and Ricky can’t get Marisol to accept his presence at ringside. Ricky’s expression on his face quickly changes to one of worry as he points to behind Marisol.

It’s too late. Marisol isn’t able to turn in time! Heather King rolls up Marisol from behind and forces her shoulders onto the mat with all her might! Claudia Morello slides in!

One…

Two…

Three!

WINNER, by pinfall at 02:03
–HEATHER KING–

Marisol is pissed! Heather isn’t going to stick around to let her take it out on her! Heather quickly exits the ring, running right by Ricky who decides to get into the squared-circle. Heather raises her hands high with a big smile, having her first victory here in UWE. A win is a win! Especially when looking for momentum going into next week against Just Plain Better.

Meanwhile, inside the ring, Ricky tries to console Marisol. She’s not having any of that. Marisol uses no words, but simply screeches at the top of her lungs in Ricky’s face. Ricky is left in the ring disappointed as Marisol abruptly exits and storms up the entrance ramp. Molaroni throws his hands up in the air, trying to get an explanation from Marisol.

Hopefully these two can get on the same page come their first bout in the Universal Tag Team Championship Tournament!

Main Event – Tag Team Tournament Match
Ruby & Asylum vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Main event time! Both Wulf and Adeline La Roux came out to huge ovations from the crowd. The #EmphasisOnBullet team-up is apparently a huge hit with the fans, as plenty of people in the crowd can be seen wearing their shirts.
When Asylum enters, the mood becomes much less vibrant, as the intimidating masked madman makes his way to the ring. But all of that changes when Ruby’s theme song hits, and the tiny Canadian comes out in new ring gear! A tight yellow suits, with a green mask, boots and a mask! The fans cheer for her as their resident sweetheart comes out, and the smile on her face is so infectious the whole arena lights up.

As Ruby gets in the ring, she immediately extends her hand to her opponents. Wulf and Adeline gladly accept their friend’s gesture and as Chuck Aitken calls for them to take their place, it’s obvious Asylum isn’t intending to start this match on the apron. He stands in the ring motionless, looking at the Silver and Crimson Bullet like they’re his lunch, and Ruby has no choice but to hop back over the top rope and wait for her turn. The Masked Madman will start things off against Adeline, who has undoubtedly heard ‘the stories’. As the bell rings, Asylum charges at her, but she rolls out of the way! Asylum keeps going though, and knocks Wulf off of the apron. Asylum grins, but the slight distraction has given Adeline the opportunity to get some flips going! Right out of the gate, she hits Asylum with a poisonrana, knocking him down on his head. The high-flier follows it up with a standing moonsault, before rolling Asylum on to his back and going for a pin.

ONE!
TWO!

Asylum kicks out. Wulf meanwhile gets back on the apron and Adeline quickly tags him in, before making sure to keep Asylum down. Wulf hops on the top turnbuckle and flies, going for a 450 splash! But before he can finish the rotation!

THWACK! Ruby comes rushing in, nailing him with a Ruby in the Rough, almost knocking Wulf’s head off. Adeline seems surprised, but wastes no time to keep Ruby from getting more offense in. As Ruby gets back to her feet, the Crimson Bullet nails her with a snap dragon suplex, the impact of which sends her rolling out of the ring.

With Wulf and Asylum now the legal men, Adeline rolls out of the ring, but not before helping Wulf to his feet. The Silver Bullet seems shaken though, Ruby’s running kneestrike obviously having done quite some damage. Good thing he was still fresh at the time. Asylum meanwhile has gotten back to his knees, and as Wulf approaches him to lock in a hold, Asylum reaches out and grabs him by the throat. He chokes Wulf one-handedly, before throwing him into Ruby’s corner like a rag doll. Asylum comes up and starts hammering at the Silver Bullet, with Chuck Aitken keeping careful count. At the count of four however, Asylum doesn’t seem to be intent on stopping the closed-fist beatdown of Wulf. Fearing a DQ, Ruby quickly tags herself in by slapping her partner on the shoulder and uses all of her might to push Asylum back a little.
The Masked Madman doesn’t take kindly to this, and swats her away, wanting to go back on the offensive, but Wulf hits him with a headscissors takedown, sending Asylum to the middle of the ring. Either because he is still dazed, or simply because of oversight, an overenthusiastic Wulf goes for his Green Hell, the inverted rolling thunder, and executes it to perfection. Just a shame that when he hooks Asylum’s leg, Aitken says he can’t count a pin!

*BOOM!* RSD! Ruby hits her renamed ‘Ruby in the Sky With Diamonds’ finisher on Wulf, who was lying across Asylum’s chest. Hitting him in the back of the skull, it surely seems like no one could ever get up from this! Ruby quickly rolls her friend on to his back and goes for the pin.

ONE!
TWO!
Adeline breaks it up. Rushing into the ring to break up the pin, she clobbers the back of Ruby’s head. She helps Wulf back to his feet, but he’s on spaghetti legs after having been hit with Ruby’s very best shot. She helps him to go back to the apron, but as they approach the ropes, are hit with a double clothesline by Asylum, who sends them both over. They crash on the outside, and as Asylum wants to go to the outside to continue the onslaught, he is whistled back by his tiny partner.

She makes a few gestured, and it soon becomes apparent what she wants him to do. The crowd roars as Asylum lifts Ruby up overhead, walks over to the ropes, and then hurls her in the direction of their opponents, using her as a live projectile. She crashes into both bullets, turning all three of them into one big pile of humanity. And while the three flippers are on the ground, it is the big man looking to go to the skies!

The crowd rises to their feet as Asylum climbs the top turnbuckle. The Masked Madman takes aim as Wulf, Adeline and Ruby get back to their feet. He leaps, and lands right on top of them with a crossed body. The crowd cheers as all four of them now collapse to the floor, and no one is left standing.
It is Asylum who gets back to his feet first, and in a surprising display of teamwork, he helps Ruby up. She makes sure to thank him, before sliding into the ring. As Wulf and Adeline slowly get to their feet, Ruby is preparing for another…DIVE! As #EOB are finally back to a vertical basis, Ruby launches herself over the top rope with a tope con hilo! But Adeline catches her! Displaying surprising strength, she snatches Ruby out of the air, and reverses it into a modified buckle-bomb, smashing Ruby into a proverbial million pieces against the ring post. Ruby lies motionless on the floor, and to the surprise of many, this seems to upset Asylum in a big way. He bowls Adeline over, before carefully picking Ruby up and placing her on the apron.

Chuck Aitken, meanwhile, it at the count of eight, and Wülf, still the legal man, quickly slips into the ring to break up the count just in time. The hurt Ruby is an easy target now, but as Wülf looks to drag her to the center of the ring by her ankles, Asylum steps in between them. He shakes his head, and then Irish Whips Wulf into his own corner! Adeline hops onto the apron and tags herself in, but not before Asylum has grabbed Wulf’s wrist and launched him against the ropes. He dropkicks him in the chest as he comes back. SHOCK TREATMENT! However, with Adeline now being legal, the big man is open to a major strike.

DRAGON RANA! Adeline hits her finisher to perfection, but it’s Ruby who’s legal, and she’s still dazed from being bombed against the steel ringpost. Chuck Aitken, senior official, has trouble keeping this match in check, with bodies flying everywhere, and people popping up all the time. As Asylum is sent to the mat, the crowd gasps, as his mask seems to have come loose!
Adeline didn’t notice this however, and focused her attention on Ruby. She grabs Ruby by the ankles and drags her to the middle of the ring. She hops on the nearest turnbuckle and hits the BITE THE BULLET! A flawless corkscrew 630 senton! She hooks Ruby’s leg and pins her…

ONE

TWO

THE crowd screams as the unthinkable happens. Asylum rips his mask off and assaults Adeline, pulling her off of Ruby and biting her! Chuck sees this, and warns Asylum to back off, but the unMasked Madman is out of control! He sinks his teeth into Adeline’s flesh, driving her back into a corner and even as Aitken count to five, he doesn’t quit! The referee has no option but to call for the bell.

WINNERS, by DQ at 12:56
–#EOB–

Ruby, now somewhat recovered, sees what is happening, and along with Wülf, they try to get Asylum off of Adeline, but all it does is provoke him. While he does stop the bite, he now focuses his attention on the other two, but as he looks set to turn his wrath on Wülf… Ruby hugs him!

Not a bear hug of any kind. Just a simple, normal hug. A friendly one. A normal embrace. A touch of friendship. It stops Asylum dead in his tracks, as the look of insanity on his face turns into one of… humanity?

It doesn’t last long, however. He pushes Ruby away, and grabs his mask off the mat, putting it back on. As the stunned Vancouver crowd looks on, he makes his way to the back, leaving Ruby, Wülf and Adeline behind, wondering what just happened as the show comes to a close. No matter what, #EOB advances in the tag team tournament!

~*~*~

Show Opener
The Badd Breed addresses the UWEniverse!

With their vicious assault on James Calhoun still fresh in everyone’s minds. Word is going around that the Badd Breed is going to start off Over the Top XXIII with some answers as to what their intentions are! Is this a hostile takeover? Are they out to specifically get Calhoun? Or is he just a casualty caught in the crossfire of a bigger picture? A bigger war? Let’s see if they’ll give us any of those answers or keep us guessing!

Match One – Single’s Match
Danny Oliver vs. Chris Hendrix

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

With the first round of the Universal Tag Team Championship Tournament beginning, Dogs of War and The Empire got lucky with a first round bye! We saw the Hendrix brothers debut at the end of Midsummer Massacre with the other members of the Badd Breed. Tonight, Chris will get a match against the recently on fire Danny Oliver. Danny is coming off of a big win against JTX at the pay-per-view. Will both of their brothers be in their respective corners? This could definitely be a preview for some of the action we’ll see during the tournament, albeit in singles fashion!

~*~*~

Match Two – Tag Team Tournament Match
JTX & Justin Lust vs. Corporal Punishment & Leon Saint Dane

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

The first of three matches for the opening round of the Universal Tag Team Championship Tournament! JTX and Justin Lust have a…relationship of some sort now. And CP and LSD are one of the randomly designated teams for the tournament! An inexperienced duo versus an inexperienced duo! Corporal Punishment is a former champion in a past tag division here in UWE with his uncle Major Payne, however. Maybe, just maybe, he can get to that height again with newcomer Leon Saint Dane? JTX and Justin Lust are mean, to put it nicely, and they’ll surely be looking to play the spoiler towards the Corporal and the Steampunk Pugilist.

~*~*~
Match Three – Single’s Match
Amy Gobraless vs. Caliee Adams

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Caliee Adams is on a roll. She’s beaten male and female competitors alike, coming off of a victory against Tiami Erickson that opened Midsummer Massacre. Amy was just put through a grueling Hell in a Cell match up and the less that is spoken of, the better. Two gorgeous ladies. Two vicious ladies. They are going to gouge each other’s eyes out for our entertainment and it shall be glorious! It doesn’t seem like Caliee can be stopped, but Amy is no pushover. Well, actually, she loves being the one doing the pushing over, so who knows!

~*~*~

Match Four – Tag Team Tournament Match
Controversial Demons vs. Just Plain Better

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Midsummer Massacre was a huge night for both of these teams! Matt Moore was able to vanquish Brandon Sorrow and bring his brother back! The Moores, going by the moniker of Just Plain Better, because of course they are, are ready to take this tournament by storm! Controversial Demons will either be a roadblock or a speed bump. They made a statement at the end of the evening. The Badd Breed is here and UWE has been put on notice. This matchup is sure to bring down the house. Who will advance? The veteran duo of brothers? Or the newcomer vicious lovers?

~*~*~

Match Five – Single’s Match
Heather King vs. Marisol Hawkes

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Two teams in the Universal Tag Team Tournament on other ends of the bracket. They’ve been split! Two competitors in the ring and two in the corners. Will Marisol allow Ricky to accompany her to the ring? Formerly in a relationship, this could be the start of a very rocky road for the two of them in the UWE. The members of Torment may be able to use that to their advantage. They have been on a mission lately. And that mission is simple. Win. Josiah was awarded a count out victory over Brute Rockne at the pay-per-view, but it’s a win nonetheless. He’ll be there to support his tournament partner in her formal in ring debut. Heather King versus Marisol Hawkes. This is going to be good!

Main Event – Tag Team Tournament Match
Ruby & Asylum vs. #EmphasisOnBullet

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Here we go! The final of the first round matches will end the show with a bang! Wulf Erikson and Adeline La Roux immediately knew they would be together for this tournament. Ruby and Asylum, though? Never in a million years would anyone have thought of this team being an actual thing! Inexperience in tag team action isn’t as hindering as it could be, seeing as Ruby and Asylum are two of UWE’s most beloved veterans. Wulf Erikson has been arguably the most exciting of the new performers to enter the company since the revival. With the always fired up Adeline La Roux watching his back, can they topple the unlikeliest of duos?

Presenting the Midsummer Massacre theme song…

Location:

Midsummer Massacre! In the blazing heat of Summer, the UWE Superstars will settle their scores. Mike Rosati will finally get his shot at Asylum, something he has been begging for for months. They will meet inside a House of Pain. But while the Masked Madman and the formed Maddogg will look to butcher each other, they are far from the only ones who carry a grudge.
Wülf Erikson will finally get a one on one opportunity against the man who has been hounding him for weeks now: Bryan Blaze. Can he finally rid himself of him? But while they’ve only been going at it for a couple of months, Lucilla and Amy Gobraless have been at each other’s throats for years! With none of their previous bouts having a decisive outcome, they will look to decide once and for all who the better woman is.
We’ll also have debuts! Jake Donaldson and Josiah TUrnbow will face off against Drew Stevenson and Brute Rockne respectively, giving us another intriguing look at the stable known as Torment. It’s leader, Donaldson, has finally stepped out of the shadows and will look to show the world why he’s a force to be reckoned with.
Another person looking to do just that is Tiami Erickson. She will go one on one with a woman who has massively endeared herself to the UWE Universe in record time: Caliee Adams. Can she break Caliee’s streak?
Other than that, Danny Oliver will seek revenge on JTX, who has been assaulting him nd his borther at every turn following a misunderstanding that happened backstage. Can the Dog of War get the job done against one of UWE’s finest competitors? Or will JTX once again prove why he could be in contention for championship gold soon?
Two other Superstars looking to impress the management will be Marcus LeVine and Timothy Hunt. LeVIne has enjoyed a very good start to his UWE career, putting on impressive displays. While the Maniac comes off a hard-fought loss, he will look to regain his winning ways aginst Timothy Hunt, ho has something to prove as well.
And to top it all off, in our main event, James Calhoun will defend the Ultimate Wrestling Championship against his former friend, the Steampunk Warrior Eavan Maloney. The flame-haired lass with a heart of gold has well and truly skyrocketed to the top here. Can she become the face of the company, and get retribution on the man who betrayed her?

Only time will tell. Watch it all here. Live. On @UWENetwork!

Show Opener – Single’s Match
Caliee Adams vs. Tiami Erickson

Posted Image

With Claudia Morello calling for the bell and the action beginning, Midsummer Massacre is officially here! Adams and Erickson size each other up and circle the ring, not taking their eyes off one another. They finally decide to lock up in the center of the squared-circle. They push and shove in the collar and elbow, both trying to gain an advantage. Tiami gets the upper hand first. She is able to twist out of Caliee’s grasp and wrench the arm. Caliee, however, does a forward somersault, throwing a wrench into Tiami’s plans.

Almost immediately, Caliee reverses with a backward somersault, really leaving Erickson to wonder. Caliee uses her momentum to break her arm free and initiate another lock up! This time, Adams is able to pull Erickson in for a headlock. Tiami uses her ring knowledge to pull them back against the ropes. She ends up sending Caliee forward across the ring.

As Caliee rebounds, Tiami drops down, causing Adams to keep running. She comes back again and Tiami leaps for a dropkick! Caliee side steps and as Tiami hits the ground, Adams drops an elbow! Tiami rolls out of the way, stands, and drops an elbow of her own! Adams moves! Both women are quick to their feet, clenching fists, ready to lunge at the other!

The crowd erupts as a stalemate seems to have been reached. The applause doesn’t last long however. It hurriedly shifts to boos as Caliee takes Tiami by surprise with a massive open handed slap to the face. These two are not going to play nice here this evening!

Tiami looks back at Caliee and snaps! She sends a flurry of her own slaps, eventually laying them into Adams’ back as she tries to cover up and escape the onslaught. Adams reaches the ropes and Claudia has no choice but to request that Tiami lets her go. Tiami obliges, but as soon as Caliee is out of the ropes, she’s on the attack!

Tiami sends a big knee into Adams’ gut, doubling her over. Tiami hits the ropes and as she comes back, she hooks Caliee’s head. She pulls it forward and slams it into the mat with a running bulldog! The Ice Spike connects! Tiami is quick to go for a cover as Claudia moves into place!

One…

Two…

Adams with a shoulder up!

Tiami is furious that this other girl has challenged her this evening, especially after their discussions on Twitter. She might just want to kill her rather than beat her in a wrestling match. That’s quite obvious as Tiami wastes no time in getting Caliee back to her feet.

Tiami tosses Adams into the corner and shoves a boot right up into her neck and chin area. Claudia begins her count.

One…

Two…

Three…

Four…

Tiami finally takes her foot off of Caliee’s throat. Fired up, Tiami lets out a roar and heads to the other side of the ring. She rushes back towards Caliee, but Adams moves! Tiami collides with the turnbuckle and Adams gets behind her. Schoolboy rollup!

One…

Two…

Tiami furiously kicks out!

Caliee stays on the attack, though! As Tiami gets up to a knee after kicking out, Caliee hits a massive front dropkick to the chest, putting Tiami right back on the mat. Caliee drags Tiami to the center of the ring and gets her to a seated position.

Now at Tiami’s back, Adams sits down with her and hooks her legs around the body. Adams has Erickson in a body grapevine with her legs! Claudia consistently checks with Erickson to make sure she wants to continue, but there is no giving up in the Crimson Devil.

Tiami is able to scoot herself further up Caliee’s legs and is ready to get out of this. She’s in perfect position now…

Elbows!

Erickson unleashes a barrage of back elbows to Caliee, forcing her to release the hold with her legs. Both women jump to their feet, but Tiami is quicker! Big clothesline!

Adams gets up…another big clothesline!

Caliee jumps to her feet, but sees the pattern! Tiami goes for another clothesline, but Caliee ducks in and goes behind! A forearm to the middle of the back sends Erickson forward, bouncing the front of her body off of the ropes, causing her to stumble back towards Caliee.

Caliee squares up…

Simply Caliee!

The superkick to the back of Tiami’s head connects and sends her planted to the mat! Caliee rolls her over and hooks the leg! Referee Morello slides in!

One…

Two…

Three!

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Winner, by pinfall at 07:56
–Caliee Adams–

Caliee has won! And she’s not sticking around to celebrate. She quickly exits the ring, raising her arms, and shouting obscenities towards Tiami in the ring. Tiami finally comes to and sees Adams backing up the ramp, gloating and being offensive towards her. Tiami stares down Adams with nothing but a scowl on her face. UWE doesn’t have any psychics, but you probably don’t need one to tell that revenge is the only thing on Tiami Erickson’s mind.

Match Two – Single’s Match
Timothy Hunt vs. Marcus LeVine

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Friends…enemies…frenemies? Or have about friends, foes, froes? Who knows, but The Badd Breed members, Marcus LeVine and Timothy Hunt are here at Midsummer Massacre to show that there are no weak links in their faction.

JJ Hemphill aggressively calls for the bell and this anticipated contest is underway! Right off the bat, the two competitors meet in the center of the ring. They nod at each other and Timothy lands a massive chop! Marcus follows with a chop of his own! They’re starting off hard hitting as hell!

Chops and chops galore continue to bruise and redden the chests of the two men until they both howl and turn towards the crowd. This is what they are about!

Once they turn back towards each other, Marcus strikes first with a vicious forearm. He follows with another. No more trading, it’s all him! Three forearm shots total send Timothy back against the ropes. LeVine follows up with an Irish Whip. He’s right behind him!

As Hunt hits the opposite ropes, LeVine sends a huge knee into his gut without waiting for him to come back. LeVine sends Hunt across the ring again. No! Timothy reverses it and pays him back! Hunt with a huge knee of his own as Marcus hits the opposite ropes!

Timothy rolls Marcus over and onto the mat by the head. Snapmare off the ropes. Timothy sends a huge kick into Marcus’ back, sending Marcus clinching up and trying to get away. Timothy stays on him, though! He lifts Marcus to his feet and takes his backside. Timothy lifts him up…

Back suplex drops LeVine!

Timothy puts a foot on Marcus’ back and reaches down. He clutches around Marcus’ head and pulls it back by the face. JJ isn’t sure if this is illegal or not. He seriously doesn’t know! Instead of counting, he simply just tells Timothy to get off and waits to see what happens.

Timothy doesn’t listen to Hemphill and continues yanking on Marcus’ face. Finally, JJ starts a count. Before one can be reached, Hunt lets off and turns at JJ, trying to intimidate him. Hemphill backs off, thankful that his order was followed and nothing else came of it.

Timothy grabs Marcus now and gets him up to his feet. Timothy hooks the head and lifts Marcus us in a suplex position. Marcus snaps to, though! He sends a knee down from above onto Hunt’s head, causing Hunt to drop him.

Marcus lands on his feet and delivers a flurry of stiff kicks to the legs of Timothy Hunt. This causes Hunt to back away, but Marcus doesn’t let that last very long. LeVine hooks onto Timothy in his own way. Instead of hoisting him up, however, Marcus sends him right over with a snap suplex. He floats over for a quick cover!

Two…

Shoulder up right after two!

Marcus quickly follows through by flipping Hunt over and heading to his feet. Marcus grabs a leg and wrenches back! Single Leg Boston Crab!

Timothy screams out as he scratches and crawls towards the ropes. Marcus lets out a scream of his own, more of intensity than anything. JJ Hemphill constantly checks with Timothy for any sign of submission. Only holding onto one leg leaves Timothy the other to use as support. He eventually makes it to the ropes and Marcus gets off.

As soon as Hunt is out of the ropes, though, LeVine keeps up the attack! He already did some damage to the leg. Now he’s going after the arm! Marcus grabs Hunt’s left arm, hops over the ropes, and slams it down onto the ropes as he lands outside of the ring. JJ hollers at him, but who cares?

Marcus quickly slides back into the ring as Timothy is clutching his arm. LeVine grabs on again, leaps up and lands on his back…smashing Hunt’s arm across his knees! Ouch!

Timothy writhes in pain as his arm flails helplessly. Marcus keeps it up, shoving an elbow into Hunt’s face as he wrenches the arm some more. Marcus looks around the crowd now with a menacing expression on his face as he has a clear upper hand on his Badd Breed brethren.

Maybe that’s speaking too soon! The crowd starts to clap for Timothy. They want to see some more action! Hunt feels it and uses their energy to turn out of the arm wringer as he gets to his feet. He sends a few clubbing blows into the top of Marcus’ arms, releasing the grip he has!

Immediately following the release, Hunt sends a HUGE spinning wheel kick towards LeVine. Bullseye! LeVine hits the mat, as does Hunt, and both men are down. JJ has no choice but to start a count.

They charge and Hunt ducks behind LeVine. Marcus hurries to turn around, but is met with a huge leaping knee strike to the jaw! This sends Marcus reeling and Timothy rebounds off of the ropes. He comes back with another big jumping knee! This one hits hard enough that it sends Marcus spinning and into the corner!

Timothy rushes in and calls for the finish! He gets onto the turnbuckle, grabs onto Marcus’ head and they both rotate…

Tornado DDT!

Hunt plants LeVine’s head into the mat and makes sure he is in position properly.

Hunt is going up top!

He jumps, flips, rotates, all sorts of crazy movement!

Controversy’s Decree!

NO!

Marcus LeVine rolls towards the turnbuckle and out of the way causing Hunt to overshoot him!

Hunt crashes to the mat, but the momentum seemingly sends him bouncing right back to his feet. He turns and LeVine sends a kick to the gut. He lifts him up in a vertical suplex position…but he drops him face first. Flatliner!

LeVine keeps a hold of Hunt and grabs onto his damaged left arm…

KIMURA! THE KIMURA IS LOCKED IN!

JJ Hemphill moves, furiously questioning Timothy’s intentions to stay in this match up. For what seems like an eternity, Timothy refuses to submit! He constantly shakes his head. Over and over and over he says no to the question of giving up.

That is until Marcus uses all his strength to wrench it in even deeper and tighter than he may ever have before. His no quickly turns to a yes. He wants to avoid a broken arm! Hunt gives and JJ calls for the bell!

Winner, by submission at 10:53
–Marcus LeVine–

Marcus releases the hold as soon as the bell rings. He leaps to his feet and yanks his arm away from JJ Hemphill. He flinches out him, signaling for the referee to scram or else. Holding his arm and in much pain, Timothy looks up as he reaches a seat position. Marcus looks down, exhausted from the battle, but both men…

Both men have this strange sadistic grin on their faces as they approve of the contest they just battled.

Match Three – Single’s match
Brute Rockne vs. Josiah Turnbow

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Referee Corey Miner heads to the center of the ring. He walks over to Brute, verifying he’s clean and then does the same with Josiah. With that done he calls for the bell. Both men waste no time heading for the center of the ring. Josiah’s hands are high as he intends to tie-up with the bigger man, but Brute has other ideas. He lowers his shoulder as he charges, hitting Turnbow with a spear, then lifts his opponent and carries him back into the turnbuckle. Rockne slams him against the post hard. Josiah’s head whips back from the force of the collision.

After the fourth time Brute lifts his opponent up and sits him on the top rope. The former tight end stands on the bottom rope and suplexes Josiah to the mat. A thunderous boom fills the arena and the crowd cheers their approval of the action. The former NFL player rushes in and crushes the smaller man into the ring post once more. Brute steps back and lets Josiah stagger forward. He then takes the Torment member down with a thunderous clothesline.

Brute stands over the downed man and poses for the crowd who reward him with a loud ovation. He bends down and lifts Josiah back to his feet. He tosses the smaller man toward the ropes. He heads in the opposite direction. He rebounds off the far ropes and his headed back towardTurnbow, ready to take him off his feet once more. To his surprise, however, his wiry opponent has grabbed the ropes. Brute continues forward as he nears his foe he goes airborne.

The intellectual Torment member drops down, pulling the middle rope with him. Brute goes right through and to the outside. Turnbow doesn’t give Rockne any time to recover. Instead he runs into the ropes on the far side and rushes forward. He launches himself over the top rope, hitting Brute as he has just gotten to his feet. Both men land on the outside in a tangle of limbs. Corey Miner, doing his job, begins to count.

Josiah is the first one to make it back up to his feet. He quickly slides back into the ring and stands in the corner.

Brute is up next as Dr. Anubis observes from a slight distance. His cowboy hat is still on as Brute hops back onto the ring apron. He leaps over the ring ropes but as soon as he lands, Josiah comes from behind and chops the right leg of Brute. Brute drops down to a knee as Josiah follows it up with a quick shining wizard. Josiah doesn’t waste any motion as he grabs the right knee and begins driving his own knee right into the quad muscle.

Josiah continues to drive his knee into Brute’s leg as the crowd is going crazy. He yanks down on the leg before leaping over and yanking the leg down the opposite direction. Brute yells in pain as Josiah strikes with a standing moonsault. He goes for the quick pin attempt as Corey slides into position.

One…

Brute manages to power out as he flings Josiah halfway across the ring. Josiah quickly gets back up to his feet as Brute gets back up to his while trying to get the blood flowing back into his right knee. Josiah stands across the ring with a smirk on his face.

Josiah bounces off the ropes nearest him, he ducks under a clothesline attempt by Brute and rebounds off the other side. He ducks under again but this time he swings his legs up, hooks Brute by the neck and flings him across the ring with a hurricanrana. Josiah rolls through after connecting with the move and slides out of the ring.

Josiah stays on the outside while surveying the action inside the ring. Brute has finally made up to his feet and is already thinking he has the match won. He looks at Redfoo with a smile while Josiah has hopped back up onto the ring apron. Redfoo is trying to tell Brute that the match isn’t over.

Brute continues to party until he turns to see Josiah flying right at him and knocks into the ring ropes with a dropkick. Brute bounces off the ropes as Josiah catches him with a drop toe hold. He immediately hooks Brute in a front face lock while trapping one arm underneath Brute’s neck.

Brute starts to stir as Josiah begins to fire alternating knees into the side of Brute’s head. Josiah releases the hold only to strike with a running senton as he lands directly onto the lower back of Brute. The move takes a little out of Josiah as he reaches for his own lower back but he grits his teeth. He bounces off the near ropes and lands with a picture perfect lionsault across the same location. Josiah is grabbing at his stomach as the crowd is showing his appreciation.

Josiah knows he doesn’t have the strength to lift Brute off the canvas so he walks over to the ring ropes and steps out onto the ring apron. He motions for Brute to get up while pumping up the fans in the process. Dr. Anubis watches from ringside while keeping a close eye on Redfoo. As Brute starts to stand, Josiah springs up to the ropes and leaps off with a wicked blockbuster driving Brute down onto the back of his head.

Brute is writhing on the canvas. Redfoo is beside himself at ringside. He begins to encourage Brute. Josiah, not making the same mistake as Brute had done is watching anxiously for his moment to strike. Brute gets to his hands and knees. Suddenly Redfoo clambers to the ring apron. He is right behind the wrestling nerd. He taps Turnbow on the shoulder.

The LMFAO vocalist pulls out a cell phone and poses near Josiah.

Turnbow wants none of it, but Redfoo grabs his shoulder as he tries to turn. The referee comes over to get involved as well. Brute, meanwhile, has risen to his full six foot six inch height and is in a three point stance. His feet dance lightly on the canvas like he’s doing cone drills. His right arm is raised in the air, his fingers wiggling. His tongue lolls out of his mouth.

Before the entire unscripted maneuver can be carried off, however, Dr. Anubis comes to the rescue. He grabs a surprised Redfoo and drags him bodily off the apron. Josiah turns to see Brute readying a spear, his intellect is on full display as he times his dodge perfectly and then adds his own control of Brute’s momentum. He flings Rockne through the ropes and to the outside where he bowls over the hip hop singer. The two men, reaping the fruits of their misdeeds, lie in a heap with Dr. Anubis nearby and Turnbow standing in the ring.

Corey Miner notices this, making sure Turnbow isn’t going to try anything and he begins his count.

Match Four – Single’s match
Drew Stevenson vs. Jake Donaldson

Posted Image

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

With referee JJ Hemphill signaling for the opening bell, both Stevenson and Donaldson walk to the center of the ring and stare each other down for a moment, trying to get a feel for the other person. As both men lock up in a collar and elbow tie up; Stevenson quickly darts in behind Donaldson, wraps his arms around his waist and throws him backwards with a release German suplex which causes the back of Donaldson’s head to smack the canvas pretty hard. The fans immediately begin to cheer as they’re not used to this quick paced action from Stevenson.

As Donaldson gets to his feet, Stevenson grabs him by the wrist and Irish whips him to the ropes. Instead of coming back like normal, Donaldson knows exactly what Stevenson is looking for so he grabs the top rope, stopping all of his momentum and quickly exits the ring as his lovely girlfriend walks over to check up on him. Smiling, Stevenson holds up his index finger and thumb, just a couple of inches away from one another as if to play mind games with him.

Talking things over with his lovely girlfriend, Stevenson walks over to their side of the ring and sits on the middle rope while motioning with his left hand for Donaldson to come back inside of the ring.

Referee Hemphill begins a count.

Jake rubs the back of his head before getting up onto the ring apron. He swings his leg through the ropes but stops midway. He takes a quick look back at Stevenson before exiting the ring again. JJ looks at Jake and tells him to get back into the ring. Drew bends at his waist before motioning for Jake to come get some but Jake just shrugs it off. He walks over to a random fan and proceeds to sign an autograph for them.

JJ gets to the count of five as Drew seems to have had enough of Jake’s stalling. He rolls out of the ring on the far side and comes charging around the ring. Jake senses Drew on the move as he quickly darts back inside the ring as Drew finally gets to where Jake was standing. Jake smirks as the fans are cheering the little game of cat and mouse being played by the two veterans.

Drew takes a deep breath before stepping up onto the ring apron. He swings one leg through the ropes and plants it onto the canvas. Right before he could swing the other leg through, Jake comes bounding off the ropes and connects with a sharp cross block to the back of the right knee.

Drew’s knee buckles as he is tied up in the ropes, Jake grabs a hold of Drew’s head and brings him back into the ring with a vicious swinging neckbreaker. The crowd is going crazy as Jake is quickly back up to his feet. He lifts the right knee that he had chopblocked and repeatedly drives his own knee into the quad and hamstring area.

After the final knee strike, Jake grabs a hold of the right heel before jamming hard into the canvas and then rolling Drew partially over while hooking in a modified knee bar. Grimacing in pain, Stevenson manages to crawl his way over to the ropes and quickly grabs a hold of the bottom rope as referee JJ Hemphill walks over there and tells Jake to release the hold. Using the count to his advantage, Jake keeps the hold applied really looking to take Stevenson out of this thing early on.

Releasing the hold before the referee counts to five, he backs away smiling as Stevenson pulls himself up to his feet while shaking his knee to work out the proverbial kinks. Looking to embrace in another collar and elbow tie up; this time, Jake manages to apply a quick headlock as he pulls back incredibly hard. Positioning his hand on the lower back of Donaldson, Stevenson goes to push him away but Jake drops to his knees, causing Stevenson to fall as well, the headlock still applied.

Now sitting on the canvas, Jake has a large smile expressed on his face as his lovely girlfriend claps and cheers him on. Keeping the headlock applied; he torques Stevenson’s neck really hard. Jake pulls back on the head and neck before standing back up to their feet. He keeps the headlock in before wrapping his legs around the left knee and dropping Drew face first into the canvas. Jake grabs a hold of the left leg, places his foot next to the knee and slams it down onto the canvas. He repeats that action before stepping onto Drew’s back and dropkicking him in the face.

Jake gets back up to his feet and motions for Drew to get up to his feet. Drew is slowly getting back up as Jake comes up behind and hooks his arms around his waist. Drew blocks the possible German suplex by doing a standing switch. He hoists Jake up into the air but Jake lands a perfectly timed right hand onto the head of Drew. Drew places him back down as Jake breaks the grip of Drew. He bounds off the ropes and on the rebound gets caught with a spinning wheel kick by Drew.

Drew shakes some life into both legs as he thinks of the next move to make. Sitting on the canvas while shaking out the proverbial cobwebs, Stevenson looks over at Jake who is clutching his jaw in pain. Rising to his feet slowly, he bends down grabbing a handful of Jake’s hair and as he pulls him up; Stevenson wraps his arms around the waist and hits a beautiful belly to belly suplex making sure that all of his weight lands on top of Jake’s frame.

Quickly hooking the leg after landing on top of Donaldson, Stevenson pulls back with all of his might as JJ Hemphill drops down to make the count.

One…

Two…

Pressing his shoulder off of the canvas, Stevenson looks up at JJ and sees that he is holding up two fingers. Staying on his knees for a moment, he begins to plan his next move.

Instead of picking Donaldson up to his feet, Stevenson decides to keep him grounded so he applies a modified side arm Triangle Choke which will continue to remove the breath out of Jake and possibly make him tap out or submit. Continuing to apply the pressure as hard as he can, driving the air out of Jake’s lungs, JJ Hemphill, our referee for tonight’s action asks if he wants to submit.

Jake shakes his head as he wiggles his free hand in the air trying to feel the fans provide him energy. As Drew applies more pressure on the hold, Jake struggles to crawl across the ring toward the ropes. Drew repositions himself as Jake is trying to move with him still on top of him.

Jake digs deep inside of him as he pushes himself up with one arm. He finally gets to his knees before slamming multiple forearms into the right and left knees of Drew. Each blow lands with a lot of sting as Drew finally lets go after the fifth strike to his knee. Jake finally gets free from the hold. His breathing is a little slow as he tries to catch it.
Jake remains in a seated position as Drew is back up to his feet. Drew comes running towards Jake looking for a hard knee smash but Jake moves out of the way at the last second. Drew’s knee collides into the middle turnbuckle as Jake uses the ropes to get back up to his feet. He bounces off the ropes and comes off with a reverse neckbreaker.

He follows it up with a leaping knee drop to the side of Drew’s face before driving his forearm across Drew’s face. He doesn’t go for the pin just yet. Instead, he grabs a hold of both legs, drags him towards the center of the ring. He then crosses one leg over his own before crossing the other leg. Jake, then turns around while rolling Drew onto his stomach.

Kneeled down on his knees so he can check on Stevenson who is in a great deal of pain, Hemphill sees that the veteran shakes his head from side to side, very quickly and aggressively indicating that no, he does not give up. Placing both of his hands down onto the canvas, he begins to do a push-up which makes it much harder for Donaldson to keep the hold applied.

As his arms give out, Donaldson simply smiles as he leans back really putting all of the pressure onto Stevenson’s lower back. With his hand hovering over the canvas, it looks like Stevenson could tap out right now but instead; he balls up his fists and places them on the canvas again, once again trying to push up enough so Donaldson will have no choice but to release the hold.

With his arms giving out yet again due to the excruciating pain, Stevenson begins to crawl his way over to the nearest ropes and when he does, he reaches out as far as he can and barely manages to grab a hold of the bottom rope as JJ Hemphill pats Jake on the back and tells him to release the hold.

After releasing the hold, he looks back to see Stevenson clutching his left knee, writhing in tremendous pain. Grabbing a hold of the middle rope, Stevenson begins to pull himself up to his feet showing great resilience which causes all of these fans in attendance to begin a deafening chant.

Jake shows great sportsmanship as he backs away as JJ checks on Drew to see if he can continue. Jake stands in the center of the ring with both arms ready for whatever Drew is going to throw his way next.

Drew nods his head as to signal JJ that he can continue with the match. He steps away from the ring ropes and looks to lock back up with Jake. As he moves toward Jake, Jake immediately goes at Drew with a double leg takedown. However Drew manages to stop him by clubbing Jake with both hands straight into his upper back. Jake drops down to his knees as Drew follows it up with a wicked DDT which drives Jake face first into the canvas.

Jake is lying face down on the canvas as Drew bends at the waist, hooks Jake around his waist and deadlifts him off the canvas. In one fluid motion, Drew leans backward while tossing Jake over his head and his right hip hitting the canvas hard. Ashley Kenyon has her hands covering her mouth as Jake looks to be injured after that nasty deadlift suplex. Drew immediately goes for the quick pin attempt as JJ drops into position.

Jake just barely gets his shoulder up as the crowd is cheering for both men.

Drew takes one look at the referee before planning his next move. He gets back up to his feet albeit gingerly and bends down to pick up Jake. As he pulls Jake up, Jake bursts off the mat and connects with a beautiful standing dropkick as the sole of his right boot catches Drew flush on the jaw. Drew falls backward as Jake lays against the ropes while breathing a little heavy. Instead of going for the cover, Jake rolls to the outside and leans against the barricade.

Having been drop kicked square on the jaw, Stevenson lies on the canvas, trying to regain his composure as he is currently dazed and confused. Rolling over onto his stomach, Donaldson rolls underneath the bottom rope and slowly climbs back to his feet as well, both men hurt and exhausted from this war. Seeing that Stevenson is on his stomach, he takes a couple of steps back and comes in with a vicious soccer ball like kick to his ribs which causes the veteran to roll over onto his back while clutching his ribs and coughing.

Bending down and picking Stevenson up to his feet, Jake pushes him into the nearest turnbuckle and takes several steps backwards, obviously having something terrible in mind. Rushing in with a full head of steam, he looks to hit a devastating clothesline but at the last second, Stevenson stumbles out of the corner which causes Donaldson to strike the turnbuckle chest first and as he is clutching his chest, Stevenson grabs him around the waist and throws him backwards with a release German suplex as these fans in attendance go crazy for the big move. Not rising to his feet immediately, Stevenson clutches his ribs which are in a great deal of pain from that nasty soccer ball like kick.

Breathing out of his mouth now, he is trying to take in as much oxygen as he can which is much harder now that his ribs seem to be damaged. Getting up at the same time as Donaldson, Stevenson ducks underneath another clothesline and immediately grabs Jake around the neck, falling onto his back and locking his feet together applying a tight Rear Naked Choke as Donaldson immediately tries reaching for the bottom rope but is simply too far away.

Continuing to pull back as hard as he can, referee JJ Hemphill slides in on his knees and immediately asks Donaldson if he wants to give up. Jake looks to be fading as Drew cinches the hold in more tighter. Hemphill checks on Jake’s arm seeing if there was still some life in Jake. He picks up the arm and it drops down.

One…

Hemphill picks the arm up for the second time and it drops down.

Two…

Hemphill raises the arm up for the third and final time. It starts to drop but it stops halfway as the crowd suddenly begins to get behind Jake. He opens his eyes wide while driving his right hand directly into Drew’s right thigh muscle. Each blow lands hard as Drew cries out in pain. Jake isn’t able to see where he is punching as Drew’s arm is still around his neck. As Drew is focusing on the pain in his knee, Jake decides to land reverse headbutts into Drew’s face which causes him to release the hold. Jake rolls right back out to the floor and quickly grabs his throat. He tries to get the air flowing into his lungs again as Drew follows Jake out under the bottom rope.

Jake watches Drew as he steps away from the barricade. Drew goes for another chokehold but Jake blocks it by sending Drew ribs first into the ring apron. He follows it up by slamming him back and neck first into the barricade. He then strikes with a hard knee as he pins Drew’s head against the barricade. The crowd is actually loving the action as Jake picks Drew up by the collar and throws him back into the ring before Hemphill could reach the count of seven.

Jake climbs up onto the apron. He measures Drew as he springs up to the top rope and off them while connecting with a front dropkick that sends Drew chest first into the ring ropes. As he rebounds off them, Jake catches him in a rear waist lock before shooting him over his head with a vicious German suplex of his own. Jake, however, keeps his hands latched around Drew’s waist as he brings Drew back up before striking with a second German Suplex. Jake keeps both hands around Drew’s waist while holding him in a seated bear hug while hooking one leg in a grapevine.

Fans chant “THIS IS AWESOME.”

Jake releases the hold and gets up to his feet. He picks up both of Drew’s knees and places both feet on the back of each one. He then bends forward, smacks the side of Drew before rocking back into a seated position. He then hooks Drew in a full nelson type hold. The crowd oohs and ahs as Hemphill checks to see if Drew wants to tap.

Shaking his head from side to side, indicating that he does not want to give up, Jake continues to pull back which really puts Stevenson in a pretty dire situation. With these people beginning to rally behind Stevenson, he gets an adrenaline surge and tilts his body to the left, making it much harder for Jake to keep the hold applied. Managing to free his foot, he uses this leverage and pushes back against Jake causing him to fall onto his back, shoulders down as JJ Hemphill slides in to make the count.

Kick out!

The fans begin to cheer as they appreciate this amazing technical match. Falling onto his back, trying to regain his wits, Jake is immediately on the prowl as he yanks Stevenson to his feet, full of adrenaline. Looking for a German suplex, Stevenson wants no part of it as he goes to throw a back elbow but Jake ducks underneath it and then applies another Full Nelson, really putting the hurt onto Stevenson.

Not staying in it for very long, Stevenson back kicks Jake right in the kneecap which causes him to stumble for a moment but able to keep the hold applied. Back kicking him in the kneecap again and again, Jake finally releases the hold as Stevenson quickly turns around, hooks him up and throws him backwards with a textbook T-Bone suplex which puts these fans on their feet.

Stumbling over to the turnbuckle, Stevenson climbs it, slowly and when getting to the top; he measures Jake up, sweat pouring down his face. Leaping off knowing that he has to hit something huge, he drives an elbow right into the chest of Jake as everyone deafens the arena.

JJ Hemphill has no choice but to count now as both men are down.

Using the middle rope to pull himself up to his feet, Stevenson and Donaldson are now up to their feet, completely exhausted as they begin to walk over to one another.

Using the top rope as a handle so he can walk over to Jake, both men begin to trade knife edge chops as these fans cheer every single time one of them strikes the other in the chest. Gaining the upper hand, Stevenson chops Jake into the nearest turnbuckle and then releases his grip on the top rope. Charging in as fast as he can, he manages to catch Jake right in the midsection with a hard knee as he doubles over in a great deal of pain. Placing his head underneath his arm, Stevenson slaps him on the back and then falls backwards hitting a devastating DDT as all of these people gasp.

Draping his left arm over Jake’s lifeless body, referee JJ Hemphill drops down to make the count.

Right before JJ’s hand can come down for the three, Jake shoots his right shoulder up. The crowd is cheering as Stevenson looks over at JJ with a look of disbelief. He rolls over onto one knee as he looks down at Jake. He stands back up, bounces off the ropes and leaps into the air. Jake manages to move out of the way of the big knee drop. Stevenson lands hard on his knee as Jake digs down deep and kips right back up to his feet.

Stevenson is still on the ground as Jake comes flipping over hip while cracking the neck. Jake then shoots back up to his feet, lands a perfect leg drop across the throat. Jake gets back up to one knee and grabs Drew by the head. He lands a strong head butt followed by three forearms. The last shot catches Drew flush on the nose.

Jake pulls Drew up by the arm and whips him across the ring. Jake quickly follows with a stinger splash in the corner. Jake backs up as Drew comes stumbling out as Jake hooks both arms before shooting his hips to the right and driving Drew spine first into the canvas. He then grabs the right knee, flips him over and hooks in a double grapevine ankle lock. Both of his legs are wrapped tight around both of Drew’s legs.

Lying on his stomach with all of Jake’s weight placed on the canvas, Stevenson lets out a loud scream and immediately tries reaching for the bottom rope but is simply too far away. Looking down, blood begins to trip onto the canvas from his nose.

Scratching and clawing his way closer to the ropes, he stretches his right arm out, really struggling when he is finally able to grab a hold of the bottom rope. Causing all of the fans to cheer, referee JJ Hemphill begins the standard five count as Jake releases the hold showing great sportsmanship.

Draping his upper body over the middle rope, Stevenson reaches up grabbing the top rope and begins pulling himself up to his feet, his right leg giving out on him from all of this punishment Jake has inflicted here tonight. Standing behind Stevenson, Jake immediately comes in from behind and kicks Stevenson in the back of the right knee which causes him to fall down to one knee. Grabbing the leg and positioning Stevenson onto his back, the veteran is quick thinking when he kicks Jake into the ropes and when it bounces back, Stevenson grabs him with a small package looking to steal this win.

Pressing his shoulder off of the canvas, Stevenson immediately sits up as Jake is much quicker to get up.

Rushing in, Jake looks to kick Stevenson right in the chest but the crafty veteran falls onto his back, intentionally as the kick misses and Stevenson turns around and grabs Jake by the feet, tripping him. Quickly crawling on top of Jake, Stevenson grabs Jake’s arm and places it between his legs and then cups his hands together underneath Jake’s chin really pulling back.

As Jake reaches out for the bottom rope, almost there, Stevenson rolls both of them back to the center of the ring as referee JJ Hemphill kneels down to see if Jake wants to quit.

The fans are going absolutely insane as JJ Hemphill is down on one knee while keeping an eye on the crossface that Stevenson has locked in on Jake. The pain is excruciating but he signals no to JJ. He starts to scratch and claw his way towards the rope. His 6’3 frame was a little longer than Drew so he had that as an advantage. He feels Drew roll him over but Jake uses his own momentum against him. He rolls a second time and lands with both of them in the ropes.

JJ orders Drew to release the hold which he does and backs away just like Jake has done the entire match. Both men showing a ton of respect towards each other. Drew’s nose is bleeding pretty bad as Jake is laying across the bottom rope trying to work the blood back into his shoulder. JJ tells Jake to get out of the ropes as he uses them to pull himself up. Drew comes back in as JJ holds him off. Jake runs toward the ropes, ducks under a potential clothesline attempt and comes back with a high angle cross body which knocks both men down.

Jake is the first one up as he looks at the down Drew. He first lands a few headbutts into the lower part of Drew’s back before driving the tip of his elbow into the same spot. Drew cries out in pain as Jake steps through the ropes and climbs up to the top turnbuckle. He sits there for a few minutes before standing up to his feet. He raises one arm before flying off and landing with his elbow directly across Drew’s back.

After landing the elbow, Jake fires up to his feet as the crowd is constantly chanting “This is Awesome.” Jake proceeds to step over the back of Drew which causes him to move a little before Jake strikes with a nasty single kick to the face. Jake shoots back up to his feet while hooking both legs of Drew before showing off his own power. Jake lifts Drew up off the canvas before swinging him forward and dropping Drew with a modified Falcon’s arrow. Jake doesn’t go for the cover right away as he rolls back onto his feet.

Drew is just starting to move as Jake runs the ropes but gets blasted with a spinning wheel kick. Both men drop back down to the canvas as JJ stands in the middle of them.

Danny jumps in for a body press but JTX dodges and pulls the ropes down leaving Danny to painfully straddle the ropes!

The crowd lets out another boo as J bounces the ropes up and down causing more pain to his foe. After a count of four JTX finally stops and pushes Danny off to land on the apron. J puts his boot down on Danny’s face and grinds his heel down hard. The official finally gets JTX to stop and back away. Danny gets to his feet but before he can re enter the ring JTX grabs his head and slams into the steel turnbuckle pole. The skirted superstar puts Danny’s face against the ropes and drags him over to the other pole before repeating the attack. Danny is barely standing and JTX is about to repeat when the crowd begins chanting.

“Pink Haired Freak, Pink Haired Freak!”

The chanting continues and an irate JTX yells for them to stop. He grabs Danny but the Dog of War suddenly rams his shoulder into J’s stomach before leaping over and flipping to land with JTX shoulders down before him.

Match Six – Single’s Match – Hell in a Cell
Amy Gobraless vs. Lucilla

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Hell. In a Cell. It’s a structure that hasn’t stolen its name, as tons of steel envelop the wrestling ring in which Lucilla and Amy Gobraless stand, looking to settle their score once and for all in this diabolical structure. As the cage lowers, Amy and Lucilla size each other up. Lucilla licks her lips at the thought of finally being able to prove her superiority over her arch nemesis, while Flawless Miss Gobraless has a sly grin on her face, a testament to her cruel intentions.

As the cage finally hits the ground, Ruby positions herself on the outside, grabbing a seat next to CJ Kim at the announce table. She doesn’t grab a headset to join in on the commentary however, opting to keep her eyes trained on the action inside the ring.

Claudia Morello calls for the bell, and the match is underway! The crowd cheers as the two women lock up in the middle of the ring. Amy gets the initial upperhand by maneuvering Lucilla’s arm into a hammerlock, wrenching the arm and shoulder. Lucilla however reverses it by spinning out, flipping over and countering it into an armdrag! Amy rolls through, gets back up on her feet and charges at Lucilla, hitting her with a hurricanrana as she was too slow in turning around.
Lucilla also rolls through however, and ends up back on her feet, and the two ladies end up across the ring from each other, exactly like they started.

The crowd appreciates this little exchange making it heard as they cheer. Neither Lucilla nor Amy acknowledge them, though, both of them maintaining their focus. They lock up in the middle of the ring again. Lucilla gets Amy in a headlock, but Amy pushes her away, sneidng her into the ropes. On the rebound, Amy hits Lucilla with a big back body drop! Lucilla lands on her feet however, and mule kicks Amy as she turns around. Amy doubles over, and Lucilla goes for the Cookie Thumper!
But misses, as Amy has her well scouted. Lucilla plants her foot on the canvas instead, and is nailed with a perfectly executed snap German suplex. Amy keeps her hands locked, and gets Lucilla back up again. Rather than throwing her back overhead, she opt to lock in an abdominal stretch!

As Amy stretches Lucilla, she elbows Lucilla in the side, inflicting more pain. Lucilla groans in pain, but she refuses to give up. She wriggles free and elbows Amy in the face as payback. And it’s followed by the loudest and most disrespectful backhand slap that Vancouver has ever seen or heard! Amy gasps and clutches her cheek in surprise as Lucilla grins, having left a nice red handprint on Amy’s face.

It seems to have only set Amy off however. She bulrushes Lucilla, driving her into a corner and starts unleashing a flurry of blows. She then retreats, and comes charging in for a kneestrike, but Lucilla manages to use that momentum against her, sending Amy over the top rope! The Flawless One lands on the apron however, but Lucilla runs the ropes lightning fast and dropkicks her, sending her flying off of the apron and into the unforgiving steel of the structure! Amy falls down to the mat, and Lucilla grins, ascending the top turnbuckle. As Amy gets back on her feet, Lucilla flies through the air, looking for a crossbody. But Amy catches her, a display of surprising strength, and slams her into the steel ringpost, to follow it up by smashing her back-first into the cell before bodyslamming her to the ground!

Lucilla arches her back in agony, and Amy now feels she has the upper hand. She grabs Lucilla by the hair and drags her over to the steel ringsteps, before starting to smash her face into them. Lucilla’s head bounces off of the unforgiving steel, each strike sending a loud thud throughout the Studio’s. After a dozen or so slams, Lucilla finally has enough presence of mind to block the next incoming one, and elbows Amy in the gut, before driving her back into the wall of the cell. She elbows Amy in the face, and then grabs on to her collar, before sending her overhead with a monkeyflip. Amy flies through the air and lands on the steel ringsteps with a bang!

The camera momentarily cuts back to the backstage area, showing General Manager Lara Pegorino looking on. The otherwise so calm, cool and collected Lara is biting her fingernails as she watches on the monitor how her half-sister and former lover are trying to destroy each other. The camera then cuts back to ringside, where Lucilla is now grinding Amy’s face into the side of the cell, enjoying every little scrape. But Amy isn’t going to just let her continue. She elbows Lucilla in the stomach. The Sicilian doubles over, and Lucilla is quick to hit her with a Northern Lights Suplex on the outside! Amy quickly lifts Lucilla back up, and Irish Whips her into the cell door! It buckles, but doesn’t quite bust. Amy is intent on smashing Lucilla through however and she hits Lucilla with a shoulder tackle so hard it would’ve made Troy Polamalu proud. The door cracks, but as Lucilla looksdazed, the structure remains intact. But not for long. Amy takes another charge and spears Lucilla, sending them both to through the door and to the outside of the cell! The fans cheer as the bodies of the two ladies are lying on top of each other.

It’s at this moment that Ruby comes into action. Seeing that she now actually has a chance to help Lucilla, she decides that she must act quickly. Whilst she undoubtedly doesn’t want to interfere, her agreement with Lucilla leaves her little choice. Amy gets up to her feet and grabs Lucilla by the hair, but is broken up by Ruby who drags Lucilla away from her grasp. She helps Lucilla to her feet, and as Lucilla recovers she grins, looking at Amy and then at Ruby. Amy is now in a handicap match, or so it seems. And she realizes it. Noticing that she has nowhere to go but inside the cell, she knows she’s trapped. But then she looks up at the ceiling, and smiles, realizing that there is another way, which just might give her the advantage. With catlike agility, she starts climbing the wall of the cell, and under the thunderous cheers of the Vancouverites, dares either Lucilla or Ruby to follow her up as she stands on top of the structure.

Ruby wants to follow her, but Lucilla holds her back, mouthing the words ‘I’ll handle this’, before starting to climb the cell as well. The crowd erupts! As Lucilla climbs over the edge, she and her arch nemesis are now face to face on top of a steel cage, easily 20 feet up! Lucilla and Amy start striking each other, chopping and hitting each other with closed fists and palm strikes. Eventually Lucilla and Amy lock up, and it seems like Amy’s strength is going to win out as she drives Lucilla towards the edge of the cell… Lucilla is teetering on the edge, ready to be pushed off until…

Red Light! Lucilla hits Amy with her red mist, blinding her! And she immediately follows it up with an FHS on top of the cell! The crowd screams, roars, erupts,… Al of it at once. Lucilla cackles as Amy’s lifeless body lies on top of the cell, and starts rolling it towards the edge, ready to throw off her bitter enemy and rid herself once and for all.

But down below, Ruby simply can’t take anymore. She can’t allow this. Not in good conscience can she stand by and watch as Lucilla does this. Even if it means reneging on her agreement with Lucilla, she can’t let this happen. She starts climbing the side of the cage as well, effectively blocking Amy from being thrown off. Lucilla starts screaming at her, telling her to get out of the way, but under the rapturous cheers of the audience, Ruby climbs over the edge too, now standing on top of the cell along with Lucilla and a still lifeless Amy. Lucilla shoves Ruby, who nearly falls off, and the tiny Canadian responds like only she can: by kneeing Lucilla in the face! Lucilla stumbles and falls backwards. Ruby then helps Amy to her feet, but she is still blinded by the red mist, unable to se. Panicked, Amy pushes Ruby, thinking it is Lucilla. Ruby loses balance and falls over the edge! Under the screams of a jam-packed UWE Studio’s Ruby drops twenty feet, all the way to the floor, crashing through the announce table on her way down.

She doesn’t move.

Amy wipes the paint from her eyes, and then realizes what she has done. As paramedics rush out to the ring to check on the lifeless tiny Canadian, a stunned crowd looks on, sick with worry over their resident sweetheart. Amy almost looks guilty. While she isn’t particularly fond of Ruby, she never intended to send her off the edge of a cell! She does notice Lucilla scrambling back to her feet however, and decides to make her pay. She kicks Lucilla in the gut, doubling her over, and hoists her into powerbomb position! As she bombs Lucilla down with all her might, she sends the Sicilian through the top of the cell, all the way down to the ring! The canvas nearly collapses under the impact as a horrified crowd looks on.

Ruby is now being attended by medical stuff, who are putting on a neckbrace and carefully putting her on a stretcher. Lucilla might need one too after this, as Amy jumps down through the hole in the cell.
But while the tiny Canadian is stretchered out, ‘Warrior’ by Disturbed starts playing. James Calhoun comes out, wielding a chair. The crowd boos him as he walks down the entrance ramp with a grin on his face. He walks through the busted cell door and Amy grins as her partner is here to join in on the fun of beating Lucilla into a bloody pulp. Amy grabs Lucilla by the hair and then holds her in a full Nelson, inviting Calhoun to do the honors. Calhoun raises the chair and brings it down… right on Amy’s head!

The crowd looks on in stunned silence as Amy collapses to the mat and the cowboy helps Lucilla to her feet. She’s still dazed and stunned from being powerbombed through the roof of the cell, but on instinct she takes the chair and turns her attention towards Amy. She starts slamming the chair down on Amy’s back, countless times, until it’s so bent it can’t even open anymore and it starts falling apart. Amy is not moving. Lucilla cackles as Calhoun looks on, approvingly. The crowd boo the both of them as Lucilla seems to be ready to go for the kill. But then, something unexpected happens.

Lara Pegorino emerges from the backstage area. Barefooted, and her dress torn up to her waist to allow for more freedom of movement, she runs towards the ring. She jets through the busted door of the cell, slides into the ring, and levels Calhoun with clothesline! The cowboy rolls out of the ring after the impact, and Lara follows it up by hitting her half-sister with an overhead belly to belly suplex.

The crowd is as overjoyed as they are stunned. What is going on? Lara Pegorino, the general manager, laying her hands on her roster members, blatantly interfering? Is this how much Amy means to her? It must be… She picks up Lucilla, and hits her with a vertabreaker in the middle of the ring, leaving her in a pile. She grabs Amy’s arm and positions it over Lucilla’s chest. Morello has no choice but to count.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Morello calls for the bell. It’s over! Amy has defeated Lucilla Pegorino, with a little help from her long lost lover. What an insane match!

Winner, by pinfall at 20:09

Lara scoops up Amy’s body and carries her out of the ring and to the backstage area, as a disgusted Lucilla realizes what happened. She frantically screams in pure anger at the realization that she lost the match against Amy Gobraless. This? This is far from over.

Match Eight – Single’s Match – House of Pain
Asylum vs. Mike Rosati

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

House of Pain deathmatch! It’s finally here. The culmination of a feud spanning months, dating back to Asylum attacking Mike Rosati backstage, leaving him hospitalized. With the ropes having been replaced by barbed wire, both competitors size each other up as the referee wraps barbed wire around their heavily taped hands. Ringside is littered with weapons, from classics such as steel chairs, ladders and brass knuckles, to barbed wired kendo sticks, tables, baseball bats and sledgehammers. Every single blunt instrument known to man is represented and both Asylum and Maddogg grin viciously, looking forward to the carnage they’re about to unleash.

Morello looks at them, seemingly not pleased by the potential of brutality this match offers, but the Vancouver fans are in a rather bloodthirsty mood! They’re wild and loud, and as Morello calls for the bell, a loud cheer erupts!
Asylum and Maddogg Mike Rosati charge at each other, their barbed wired fists seeking their targets. Asylum hits Maddogg right on the forehead, and Maddogg in return punches him right on the mask! The fans scream as it only took one blow by Asylum to bust Maddogg open! Only a few seconds into this amtch and we’re already seeing blood. Asylum’s mask grants him some protection from the wired fists, and that allows him to take advantage, unleashing blow after blow on his foe, each hit further opening the gash that is forming on his forehead.

Maddogg is driven back towards the barbed wire ropes, but he snatches Asylum’s wrist out of the air is it came in for another blow and whips Asylum into the barbed wire! The pointy metal sinks into Asylum’s flesh, and the madman roars as he sticks to the metal. He pulls himself free, and blood starts trickling down his back, until Maddogg comes charging in with a clothesline that sends him over the top rope, further ripping into his flesh. Maddogg grins, and takes a few steps back, looking to launch himself over the top rope. He does so, but doesn’t get enough height, and some of the pointy barbs rake his chest, leaving a crimson trail across his body. As he soars through the air, Asylum snatches a barbed wired kendo stick off the ground, and hits Rosati in the head with it, right on the temple! The brutal coutner causes Rosati to crash and burn to the ground, and Asylum gets back to his feet. He raises the kendo stick and brings it down over Maddogg’s back time and time again. With every hit, blood spatters up, decorating the ringside barricade. Maddogg’s screams of agony echo throughout the arena, rivalled only by the maniacal laughter of Asylum, who takes great pleasure in this brutal punishment.

Eventually, the kendo stick breaks and Asylum throws it to the side, immediately scouring the area for a new tool of destruction. But as he turns his back, Rosati smells an opportunity, bites through the pain and nails Asylum with a chop block, levelling the gigantic monster. He collapses to one knee, and Rosati nails him in the back of the head with his barbed fist, also drawing blood, turning Asylum’s back an even darker shade of crimson as it seeps out of the gash. The masked madman clutches the back of his head where the new wound is, and Maddogg grabs his skull and smashes it straight into the barricade! Asylum collapses and Rosati scrambles around for a new torture device. He eventually settles for some good old brass knucks, wrapping them around an already barbed wired hand, and focuses his attention back to Asylum. He grabs him by the mask, positions him correctly and unleashes a flurry of blows, alternating hits with the barbed wired hands and the brass knuckles. Not even Asylum’s mask can protect him any longer, and blood starts trickling from the lower end of Asylum’s mask, running down his throat and across his chest. His eyes are lifeless, and Rosati follows it up with a cruel kick to the face, nearly knocking him out. He then walks around the ring, and starts throwing random weapons into the ring. A steel chair, a table, and a sledgehammer. He returns to Asylum, who has gotten back to his knees. Maddogg’s steps are slow and methodical, and it’s obvious both men are in a great deal of pain, their bodies like canvasses painted red with their own blood. However, it is this slight hesitation of Maddogg that allows Asylum to turn the tide. The Madman blatantly low-blows Rosati, which is underhanded but perfectly legal. Morello can’t do anything but watch as Maddog doubles over, before being hit with a headbutt that sends him to the floor.

Asylum grabs him by the hair and rolls him back into the ring, the barbs once again scraping the flesh, producing new cuts. He follows him into the ring, and immediately Irish Whips him into the corner. He then grabs a steel chair and rushes at the Maddogg, before slamming it into his head. Rosati’s eyes turn into the back of his head, and he collapses to the canvas. Asylum throws the chair to the side and retrieves the sledgehammer. He places the head on Maddogg’s throat and starts to choke him out. Rosati desperately tries to break free, and instinctively he grabs for the ropes, but as he does so, he catches a barb, which pierces its way into the palm of his hand. Asylum eventually releases the choke, lifts the hammer, and seeks to bring it down on Rosati’s head, potentially injuring him severely, but Maddogg rolls out of the way!

The Hall of Famer is quick to get back to his feet! He runs the ropes, ignoring the barbed wire even as it rips him apart even more, and hits Asylum with a Lights Out! The crowd screams as Asylum collapses and Maddogg goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!

Asylum kicks out! Rosati can’t believe it, and neither can the Vancouverites, who howl enthusiastically. Maddogg slaps the canvas, which is soaked with the blood of both competitors, and shakes his head. He walks over to the table, and sets it up in the ring, near one of the corners. He wants to finish this, that much is obvious. He lifts up Asylum, and positions him in the corner, ready for a muscle buster. But Asylum senses the danger and starts hitting Rosati with his abrbed fists, forcing him to back down. Asylum hops off of the turnbuckle, whips Rosati against the ropes, his back now a genuine mess of ripped skin, and hits him with a Shock Treatment! The crowd gasps. Surely, this must be it??

Asylum goes for the cover.

ONE!

TWO!

Asylum breaks up the pin himself! He lifts Rosati’s shoulder up and laughs maniacally. He rolls out of the ring, rummages under the apron, and retrieves an item that he shows to the crowd, who gasp in shock once more. A bottle of lighter fluid and some matches!
The Masked Madman goes back into the ring and starts pouring it all over the table until the bottle is empty. His maniacal laughter fills the UWE Studio’s as he strikes a match and throws it on the table, which erupts into a blazing inferno! The shadows dancing and the fire reflecting in Asylum’s blue eyes, he lifts Rosati up into powerbomb position.

THE END IS NEAR! THROUGH A BURNING TABLE! The crowd screams as Asylum powerbombs Rosati through the burning table, the stench of singed flesh and hair now wafting throughout the entire building. The flames quickly die out, and all that is left is a smoking mess, which Asylum covers.

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Winner, by pinfall at 11:52
–ASYLUM–

It’s over! The House of Pain lived up to its name and then some, as paramedics rush to the to attend to both Superstars, neither of which are getting up. Asylum stays down too, the loss of blood too big to be overcome by even the biggest of adrenaline bursts. Morello backs away from the competitors to let the medical staff do their job as the crowd is left horrified by the grueling match that has just taken place.

Match Nine – Single’s Match
Brandon Sorrow vs. Matt Moore

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Now it’s time for one of the most anticipated matches in…well, probably UWE history! Everyone has waited for a Moore to fight Sorrow. It just so happens that this match isn’t the Brandon Moore versus Brandon Sorrow match up that may just be physically impossible. It’s Brandon Sorrow versus Matt Moore!

Chuck Aitken calls for the bell and this contest is underway! The blackened eyes of Sorrow stare down his host body’s older brother. Matt moves in as Sorrow continues to stand and stare. Matt mouths some expletives at the demonic entity before throwing a big right hand.

Sorrow smiles as he eats the punch that was delivered. Matt follows it with another punch and then a handful more. This sends Sorrow back into the corner, still with a pain loving grin painted across his face. Matt grabs onto Sorrow and whips him towards the opposite side of the ring.

Sorrow collides with the turnbuckle as Matt powers towards him. Sorrow swiftly ducks out of the way and Matt’s splash is a miss. Matt bounces out of the corner with his back to Sorrow. Sorrow hooks his arms around Matt’s waist and pulls him back with a vicious German Suplex.

This match is starting off with the furiousness expected between these two. Sorrow moves in to the downed Moore and sends a hard stomp to his back. He grabs a leg, places a foot behind it, and lifts. Sorrow slams it down hard into the mat with his foot. Ouch!

Matt clutches his leg and tries his hardest to roll away. Sorrow isn’t having any of that, however. He’s here to end the one person standing in his way. Matt gets to the ropes and Sorrow hooks his leg around it. He uses the ropes as a device to crank Matt’s leg around.

Chuck Aitken hurriedly comes in with a count.

One…

Two…

Three…

Sorrow lets go, but with no remorse, ignoring the demands coming from the head referee. Matt has escaped out of the ring, still holding onto his leg. Sorrow uses this as a perfect opportunity to inflict more damage. He hits the ropes and comes back, diving through the other ropes and out of the ring.

Matt Moore moves!

Sorrow crashes into the barricade and the crowd goes wild. Matt stays on the ground, grasping his leg as Sorrow writhes from the collision that just occurred. Chuck Aitken begins his count.

Matt is quick to follow the King of Darkness, rolling in after him.

Sorrow starts to get up, but Moore hurries with a knee to the side of his head. Sorrow stays down. Matt decides to pay Sorrow back with some leg pain of his own. Matt hooks a leg of Sorrow’s around his and falls back hard. Sorrow’s leg twists around Matt’s causing plenty of agony.

Matt, holding onto the leg of his that was hurt, backs up a bit and waits to see Sorrow’s next move. As Sorrow pulls himself to his feet using the ropes, he turns his body towards Matt. Matt comes in with a big clothesline!

No! Sorrow blocks the clothesline and pulls Matt in by the arm. He traps the arms and…a series of vicious headbutts! That ought to knock them both silly!

After seven headbutts, Sorrow releases Matt and watches as he slumps down to the canvas. Sorrow drops down for the cover.

Sorrow stays on him, pulling Matt to a knee by his hair. Snap DDT! Matt is dropped right on his head with that. Sorrow nonchalantly pushes him over onto his back and goes for yet another pin fall attempt.

Kick out!

Sorrow figured as much. He shrugs and gets off of Moore. Sorrow puts a boot to Matt’s face and scrapes it down. Chuck Aitken doesn’t approve. Sorrow doesn’t care.

Sorrow gets Matt up to his feet and shouts some awful things at him. He lifts him onto his shoulders and charges toward the turnbuckle. Matt is able to slip down Sorrow’s back! He shoves Sorrow forward and Sorrow hits the corner hard!

Matt comes in and spins Sorrow around, sending a flurry of chops into his chest. Matt’s pumped up! He turns and asks the crowd to energize him! Matt rushes back at Sorrow…

Sorrow gets a boot into Matt’s face! As Matt spins away from Sorrow, Sorrow hurries them both to the center of the ring. Sorrow gives a kick to the gut and hooks the arms. He lifts Matt…

Matt’s head bounces off of the mat and this might just be it. Sorrow goes for the cover and Chuck Aitken counts the pin.

NO! Matt is able to get a shoulder up and Sorrow is finally showing some emotion in this thing. He’s pissed and wants to end this!

Sorrow picks Matt up and sends him back into the corner. Sorrow sets Matt onto the top rope and climbs up with him. We all know what he’s going for here!

Sorrow hooks Matt’s arm around his neck and goes to lift him up!

Matt blocks it, though, using all of his weight to stop Sorrow from being able to connect with the Darkness Falls! Matt slaps Sorrow’s arms away, sending a punch to the stomach. He follows that with a huge European Uppercut! Sorrow drops from the top rope and lands on the mat in the perfect position!

Matt wastes no time and leaps off! He flips and connects with the leg drop! Somersault Leg Drop! He quickly goes for the cover!

Sorrow forces a shoulder off of the mat!

Matt, looking beaten and exhausted, realizes he needs to bring more to the table to put Sorrow away. Especially if he wants to do it for good.

He takes a moment to regain some energy before dragging Sorrow away from the corner they were near. Matt flips Sorrow onto his stomach, grabs his legs, and shouts some words about his brother to the Supernatural Superstar. Matt pulls the legs back and arches Sorrow’s body into a submission…

Scream For Moore! Matt has Brandon Moore’s submission finisher locked in on Brandon Sorrow! Sorrow finally shows signs of aching as he screams out. No one expected this to happen! Referee Aitken moves in to ensure he sees a tap out or hears Sorrow give up if that occasion arises.

Sorrow scratches and claws towards the ropes, but isn’t able to move the submission maneuver any closer to them. A few moments pass of Matt screaming for Sorrow to call it quits. Sorrow digs deep, however, and uses his freak supernatural strength. He pushes himself out from underneath Matt and is able to twist. He rolls, but Matt keeps a hold of the legs!

Moore stands and quickly tries to turn the submission into a Figure Four Leg Lock! Sorrow counters with a kick to the behind as Matt spins. This sends Moore forward and over the second rope, tumbling to the apron. Moore is able to stay on the apron, hanging onto the ropes.

He hurries to his feet and sees Sorrow doing the same. Matt launches himself over the ropes for a flying shoulder tackle!

No! Sorrow leaps with a knee and connects right on Matt’s jaw, dropping him to the canvas like a sack of potatoes. Matt crumbles from the knee strike and Sorrow drags him away for the ropes. He goes for the cover!

Matt is able to force a shoulder up!

Sorrow is seething with frustration after not being able to put Matt away thus far. Sorrow stands and shouts down at Moore. He slaps him in the back of the head before grabbing him by the hair and raising him up to his feet.

Sorrow holds Matt up and stares deep into his eyes, shaking his head at what he feels is a pathetic excuse for a human being. Suddenly, Matt gathers up some saliva and spits right into Sorrow’s face! Sorrow is taken aback and Matt breaks free. He spins around Sorrow and rolls him up!

One…

Sorrow kicks out and he’s pissed!

Wiping the spit from his face, Sorrow charges at Moore. He sends a massive forearm that echoes throughout the UWE Studios arena. Another one…and another! Sorrow sends Matt across the ring now with an Irish Whip. As Matt comes back, Sorrow connects with a huge forward headbutt.

Matt drops to the canvas and Sorrow is looking to end it. He rolls Matt over and hooks the arms. He locks the submission in! Sing Your Sorrows!

Sing Your Sorrows is applied tight in the center of the ring!

Chuck Aitken checks Matt for any sign of giving up, but is only given screams of pain from the elder Moore brother. He’s not giving up, but he’s not doing much to escape either. This could be the end!

Wait a second…what’s going on?

Sorrow’s attention is taken away from the match. A woman’s voice is heard as the crowd cheers wildly for who appears on the entrance stage. Sorrow looks up, with the submission still locked in, and sees none other than Ruby with a microphone in hand! She is barely able to stand, using a crutch, but it is a testament to her strength that she is even consccious after what happened during the Hell in a Cell match. Ringside is the last place she should be. She should be in a hospital, but yet she is here, making one last effort for her friend Matt.

She’s calling for Sorrow to focus on her for a moment. She says his time in this world is over. She’s got someone who is going to make sure that happens. Sorrow lets go of the maneuver and stares intently towards the entrance area.

A little bit of time passes, but from behind the curtain, comes…

Hillary Moore!

Brandon Moore’s wife is here at Midsummer Massacre!

Sorrow’s expression turns to confusion, then into psychotic pain. It looks as though he is having some sort of internal struggle. Hillary steps forward towards the entrance ramp with a pleading look upon her face. Ruby steps forward with her and hands over the microphone.

Hillary only says three words…”Brandon, come home.”

After that, Sorrow drops to his knees and his face dawns a frown. He grabs his head with both hands and screams as loud as he possibly can. As Ruby and Hillary look on, the crowd begins to chant three words of their own.

“Just Plain Better.”

Sorrow covers his ears now, continuing to scream. Ruby and Hillary continue their slow pace towards the ring. Sorrow jumps to his feet, knowing what he has to do now. With nothing but fury covering his face, Sorrow turns, ready to end Matt Moore once and for all.

DISCUSS BIG BOOT!

Out of nowhere! Sorrow turns right into the boot from Matt Moore!

Sorrow drops down and Matt is quick to cover. Chuck Aitken speeds in and begins his count!

–MATT MOORE–

Matt Moore hurries off of Sorrow and backs into a corner. By this time, Ruby and Hillary have made it to the same corner, but are outside of the ring. After a few moments of stillness, Brandon’s body begins to convulse. Sorrow appears to be screaming, but no sound comes from his mouth.

The lights are now violently flickering and some of the crowd murmurs in shock. The video screen starts to act up with static and flickering as well. Feedback comes through the sound system. Strange things are happening as Brandon’s body continues to tremble.

A noise finally comes from his mouth as an agonizing scream escapes. The lights go out for a moment, but jolt back on with no further problems in the arena. Brandon’s body rests on its back in the center of the ring with eyes closed.

A few moments pass and those same eyes shoot wide open, showing green and white. The void is gone! A giant gasp for air follows and Brandon Moore sits up. He looks around frantically and sees his brother in the corner. Matt stands, inviting Ruby and Hillary into the ring. They slowly make their way towards Brandon.

Hillary doesn’t hesitate once they get there, however. She drops onto Brandon’s lap and seemingly squeezes the life out of him. The UWE fans here for Midsummer Massacre get to their feet and deliver a standing ovation at what they are seeing.

Matt and Ruby nod at each other in approval and watch as husband and wife reunite. Matt apologetically intervenes and gets both Hillary and Brandon to their feet. He grabs both of them by the wrist and raises their arms up high in victory. The four of them soak up the cheers and the atmosphere of having Brandon back as the broadcast fades to a video package for the next match up.

The video package from the Ultimate Wrestling Champion match finishes, but those viewing at home aren’t greeted by either competitor. Instead, the broadcast fades back in to the CEO, Lise Fortier, standing tall in the center of the ring. On pedestals to her sides sit the recently unveiled UWE Universal Tag Team Championships.

With a microphone in hand, Lise puts on a big smile for the crowd. She starts off by commenting on the action seen at Midsummer Massacre and the fans agree that it has been an exciting event so far. She doesn’t want to waste much time, so she’s going to get to the point. She is here to reveal the bracket details for the tag team tournament!

Following each team announcement, a graphic appears on the video screen of the two team members.

Lise announces that there are a total of eleven teams that have come forth to take part in this tournament. She first wants to introduce the teams in no particular order, starting with two teams that are made up of singles participants who wanted to be involved.

First, she announces that newly signed Leon Saint Dane, who we saw a preview of earlier in the night, has been randomly matched with none other than Corporal Punishment!

The second of the random teams is…Ruby and Asylum! A gasp comes over the crowd as Lise looks a little shaken by her own announcement, but she continues nevertheless.

Now, onto the teams that formed themselves! Lise is glad to have spoken with the Moore family before coming out to the ring and, to her relief, they have informed her that Just Plain Better will in fact be a part of the tournament!

The next competitors announced are the Dogs of War! Jared and Danny Oliver are looking for tag gold!

Next up is Controversial Demons, comprised of Timothy Hunt and Tiami Erickson!

Following them, Lise announces that the Nashville Starlets will be a part of the tournament! Evie Daniels and Tasha Jones representing Torment!

Speaking of Torment, they have some more representatives in the tournament! Josiah Turnbow and Heather King!

Moving forward, the surprising, yet unsurprising team of JTX and Justin Lust!

She now introduces two new competitors that will be debuting with Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment! The Empire, Chris and Joey Hendrix!

The second to last team announced is that of new signess Ricky Molaroni and Marisol Hawkes!

And lastly, Lise is happy to announce #EmphasisOnBullet! Adeline La Roux and UWE’s resident flippy dude, Wulf Erikson!

With there being eleven teams, the first round of the tournament will actually only consist of three matches, but no worries, because the tournament starts right away at Over the Top XXIII!

Lise points to the video screen and says that the bracket has also randomly been decided! From randomly chosen match ups to randomly chosen first round byes, everything was done in the spirit of uncertainty to make things even more spectacular!

The first round of the tournament will consist of Just Plain Better taking on Controversial Demons! The winners of that match will face Torment in the form of Josiah Turnbow and Heather King!

The next first round match will see the random pair of Asylum and Ruby going against #EmphasisOnBullet! The winner of that will then move on to face The Empire!

For the last first round match, JTX and Justin Lust will face the other random pair of Corporal Punishment and Leon Saint Dane! The winners of that bout will move forward in the tournament and meet the Nashville Starlets!

And not to mention a second round match up that has already been determined. The Dogs of War versus Molaroni and Marisol Hawkes!

She lets the viewers soak up the bracket on the screen as she says farewell and takes her leave. Stage hands swarm the ring to removing the pedestals and the belts as all eyes are on the UWE Universal Tag Team Championship Tournament Bracket!

Main Event – Single’s Match – Ultimate Wrestling Championship Match
James Calhoun © vs. Eavan Maloney

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Before the main event begins both champion and challenger exchange a few words back and forth before the ref brings them to the center of the ring to give instructions. The tension can be felt as the competitors state holes through one another and as the bell rings both are moving in for the attack. Calhoun throws a hard punch that Maloney takes before returning fire. The two wrestlers exchange for a moment but it soon becomes apparent that Calhoun’s size advantage is working against Eavan. As he comes in for another shot the Irish warrior ducks under and fires three hard punches followed by a quick kick to the gut. Calhoun goes for another haymakers but Maloney intercepts and arm drags her opponent to the ground.

Eavan keeps hold of Calhoun’s arm and wrenches it harshly across her knee. The cowboy wriggles and writhes as his arm is pulled painfully. He manages to gain some leverage and rolls through, launching a shot at Eavan that frees his arm. As the Irish lass stands the Callous One rushes in for a clothesline that is easily ducked under. On his return trip across the ring Maloney jumps up and launches him with a huricarana. Not so easily defeated he is back to his feet and eager to get back into the action but his quicker opponent manages to send him airborne one more time with another arm drag.

The fans are showing their loud appreciation for Maloney’s skill and the cheering eggs her on. The plucky Irish warrior lifts Calhoun and whips him into the ropes, as he comes back she launches a hard knee that stumbles him. She follows it up with a short arm whip and another knee to the gut. She goes for a third but the third time doesn’t seem to have the charm it once did as Calhoun reverses and floors Eavan with the lasso punch!

Calhoun drops down to cover..
1
Way to early for a pin! The annoyed cowboy punches her stiffly across the face once…twice…three times. After the punches he begins slamming her head down against the mat until ordered off by the ref. The smug cowboy waves the official off and stands, grinding a heel against his opponent’s face as the crowd boos. The jeers simply cause the cowboy to laugh and drive his heel down harder.

After a four count by the ref Calhoun lets up and yanks Maloney to her feet by the hair. He gets her standing only to floor her again with a clothesline. The Irish lass is again hoisted to get feet and hit with a trip of rough punches that drive her to the corner. Once he had his foe trapped Calhoun lays in with hard chops across the chest that leaves a bright red mark, he then begins launching hard kicks that turn into stomps as Eavan slumps into the corner. Calhoun backs up and mimics a lasso, it looks as if he’s about to return the favor from last match and rushes in to try a bronco buster .

It turns out the idea of having Calhoun’s lasso in her face doesn’t sit well with Maloney, who raises her foot and kicks the first target in sight. Calhoun crumbles to the mat holding his groin as the fans wildly cheer the reversal of fate. Maloney hoists herself up and ascends to the second rope before leaping off to deliver an elbow drop that turns into a pin attempt. Hurt but not defeated the cowboy is up at two forcing Eavan to continue her assault.

Calhoun is pulled to his feet before Maloney uses the ropes to springboard into a knee that floors the cowboy. He tries to sit up but Eavan rebounds off the ropes and drop kicks across his face. As soon as she’s back up Maloney rushes the ropes and springboards again, this time landing a moonsault across her prone for.

As the cowboy’s head bounces back the crowd goes wild as everyone can see the blood pouring from his forehead! Maloney rises her arms in celebration but when she turns back around she sees an angry Calhoun waving her on.

Calhoun: HIT ME AGAIN!

Eavan looks unsure but when he repeats his demand she comes in to attack. She launches a stiff shot that turns the cowboys head but he whips back and demands another shot!

Every punch brings only a demand for another until Eavan decides to get a running start and launches a kick. Calhoun side steps and begins raining in big punches of his own. Maloney staggers and Calhoun hits the ropes before launching himself into the air for a flying clothesline. Maloney begins to rise but Calhoun rushes in and drops her again with a fierce lariat.

The bloody Calhoun rises and holds his hand up as Eavan tries to get up. The Callous One kicks her hard in the ribs and rolls her over. He then kicks hard into her stomach before roughly dragging her up by her hair. A hard right sends her back down only to have the whole process repeated. The third time Maloney is forced back to her feet she looks like she can hardly stand. Calhoun launches his Boot Hill kick but Eavan masters her strength and rolls out of the way. She comes back up and as Calhoun spins around he is hit by a devastating super kick. Maloney wastes no time, she grabs his legs and puts on the Eavan lock!

Calhoun is crawling for the ropes but the lock is in tight. He inches bit by bit but Maloney pulls him back. Calhoun is shaking his head no, looking barely conscious as Maloney cranks back more. Finally Calhoun gives out and is forced to tap!

Winner, by submission at 13:01 and NEW Ultimate Wrestling Champion
–EAVAN MALONEY–

The bell rings and the victorious Maloney is given her prize. The fans rise as the Irish warrior is vindicated and cheer as she stands on the second turnbuckle. She clutches the title in disbelief, her jaw dropped and her eyes beaming. She holds it up for all the crowd to see, the crowning achievement of her UWE career, in which she has skyrocketed to the top and now joins legends like Brandon Moore, Ronnie Cage, Lara Pegorino and many more as the company’s premier champion! Life is looking great for the Steampunk Warrior as she retreats to the back under the adoration of the Vancouver crowd.

But meanwhile in the ring… Defeat. That’s all Calhoun could think of as he had to watch Eavan Maloney walk up the ramp with his title. He couldn’t even bring himself to rise off the mat. This was a completely crushing loss for him, and it was about to get much worse.

“Kings Never Die” by Eminem hit the speakers, and The fans immediately erupted in jeers as the music of The Maniac hit the speakers. Marcus LeVine walked onto the stage, a sickening smile crossing his face as he stared into James Calhoun. While drinking in his shocked expression Marcus made sure to walk as slowly as possible to the ring. Calhoun couldn’t take his eyes off of LeVine, and with good reason. Marcus had made himself known for underhanded tactics, and taking your eye off a Man like him was never a good idea. The Emperor of Anarchy had reached the base of the ramp, but instead of entering the ring LeVine simply sat down. James was clearly confused but was even more intrigued by Marcus’s body language. The Cult Classic sat cross-legged on the floor and rested his elbows on his knees, resting his jaw on his interlocked hands as well. Most sickening of all however was Marcus simply laughing. A sickening laughter that brought out a puzzled look of consideration from Calhoun.

Calhoun’s undying attention towards LeVine became his undoing though as from behind him came four masked figures into the ring. Marcus simply laughed and pointed behind Calhoun, and when The Reckless Redneck turned around, he was met by two superkicks straight to the jaw. The fans jeers grew even louder as Marcus’s laughs grew with them. It was clear that The Maniac had planned this out. Marcus rose to his feet and watched as all four of the athletes in the ring sent stomp after stomp into the spine and head of Callous Calhoun.

LeVine made no attempt at touching James, but he did slide into the ring and lay prone, perched on his arms and posed head to head with The Country Cutlass. Marcus looked like a rattlesnake, shaking his tail, or in this case, slamming his fist to warn his prey. Marcus licked his lips as he looked at all four, telling them the beat down wasn’t done yet. Marcus wrapped his arm around Calhoun’s head and dragged him up with him, and instead of attacking himself he handed the lifeless body off to the shortest of the four masked athletes. He looked towards the tallest and smiled as that figure went to the corner, climbing the turnbuckles and perching on the top rope. Marcus wasn’t directing traffic, he was simply watching as these other two seemed to work together. Marcus himself seemed to be working with the two masked figures who weren’t currently attacking Calhoun, the ones who knocked him down originally with the kicks. These three simply waited and watched.

The figure who held Calhoun dropped him hard on the back of his head with a vicious reverse DDT, and just as that figure rolled away, the one on the top rope flew off the top rope with a Spiral Tap. The fans couldn’t help but let out a small pop at the beautiful move. As the brilliant combo finished the two who were behind it stood next to each other, and both ripped off their mask.

Timothy Hunt and Tiami Erickson. The It Couple, The Controversial Demons. They had teamed up with Marcus LeVine and assaulted the Country Cutlass Only two questions remained: who were the other two masked figures, and why were the five attacking Calhoun.

The first question was answered quickly, sort of. The other two athletes unmasked, but there was no big reaction because these two had never appeared on UWE TV before now. They were very recent signees by The UWE, Chris and Joey Hendrix. Despite them being new to the UWE, they had a very close connection to all three of the fellow competitors in the ring. Marcus LeVine dragged Calhoun up and pulled his arms into a Double Underhook, and kept Calhoun’s head between his legs. He called for both of the Hendrix twins to set up. Marcus lifted Calhoun into the air, the twins hit a double superkick, and Marcus dropped down and drove Calhoun’s head into the mat. The Cult Classic watched the crumbling body of Calhoun, laughing all the while.

Marcus, Timothy, Tiami, and both of the Hendrix twins stood around the demolished body of Calhoun, and Marcus himself spit on the already disrespected Calhoun. This was a statement, these five young athletes came out to make a name for themselves in UWE, and they made it certain that everyone who watched this show would leave with their names on his lips.
