Show Opener – Single’s Match
Hachirou Eto vs. Brawny Crookshanks

Posted Image

(referee: JJ Hemphill)

Brawny Crookshanks steps into the ring looking ready and eager to begin his match with Hachirou Eto and wastes no time when the bell rings. Brawny circles in looking for an opening and feints left to create one. Crookshanks dives into a takedown attempt that is stuffed by Eto. The powerful Hachirou grabs Brawny around the waist and lifts him up before driving him down to the mat with a powerbomb. Eto doesn’t end it here, however, but picks Crookshanks back up to bomb him again…and again! Eto lifts his opponent once more, this time flinging him up out of the powerbomb and catching Crookshanks before delivering the power slam. Hachirou pins the prone Brawny as the ref counts…

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Winner, by pinfall at 01:22
–HACHIROU ETO–

Another dominating victory for Hachirou Eto, who has been dominating his opponents left and right as he continues his unbeaten run. The Empire has one scary powerhouse in their stable, and as JJ lifts his hand, he gets one last kick in on Brawny before leaving the ring.

Match Two – Tag Team Match
The Hendrix Twins vs. The Nashville Starlets

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

The Nashville Starlets have something to prove, and it’s Tasha who starts the match off against Joey. As Miner rings the bell she rushes in, kneeing Joey in the gut before sending him flying across the ring. Joey gets back up quickly, but seems a bit stunned by Tasha’s surprising strength and ferocity. The Starlet winks at him, and dares him to come at her. Joey does so, a bit too excited maybe, and Tasha counters with a drop to-hold, levelling the Hendrix brother. She kips up and immediately uses the ropes as a springboard to go for a legdrop, but Joey rolls out of the way! Tasha lands on the cavas, and Joey nails her with a low dropkick to the face.
He grabs Tasha’s boot and drags her to his corner where he tags Chris in. Joey grabs Tasha from behind and Chris superkicks her, initiating the momentum for a German suplex by Joey that sends the Starlet flying overhead. The crowd boo the Hendrix brothers, and Evie starts clapping in her hands to get the crowd going and encourage Tasha to get her momentum back. But Chris is all too happy to ground her. He locks in a Boston Crab and Tasha cries out in pain as she desperately tries to claw toward the ropes.
With the support of the crowd, she inches closer and closer thought the agony on her face is apparent, but she eventually mnages to wrap her fingers around the bottom ropes and Miner is right in to break it up. Chris utilizes the full 4-count though, and as soon as he releseas the hold Tasha starts crawling to the corner for a tag, but Chris grabs her ankle inches before she reaches her partner’s hand. He drags her back to the center and drops an elbow right on her back, and again and again, obviously targeting the area that was damaged by the Boston Crab. He gets Tasha up and on his shoulders from there, to level her with a Samoan Drop and once again, Tasha clutches her back. She seems hurt and instinctively reaches for Evie, but she is still halfway across the ring. Chris kicks her in the face, and then taunt her by making stripper movements, alluding to his comments earlier that week. He laughs and drags Tasha back to his own corner, and tags Joey back in again. Chris gets Tasha up, sends her into the ropes and the Hendrix brothers bring her down with a double hip-toss. Joey immediately goes on top of a turnbuckle, and hits a moonsault. But as he lands, Tasha does brilliantly to grab his head, and immediately locks in a rear naked choke on the counter!
But it’s short lived as Chris runs in to break it up. But as he does, Evie rushes in to clothesline him to the mat! Tasha does her best to take advantage of the distraction to go back to her own corner. Evie rushes back too and she manages to finally get the tag in, much to the delight of the crowd.

Evie storms in again to level Joey with a spinning roundhouse kick. The Starlet screams to fire up the crowd some more, and they respond in kind. As Joey gets back up she sends him into the ropes and hits him with a running facebuster on the rebound. The Hendrix brother staggers, realizing he has to tag out, but he’s too disoriented. Evie grabs his arm, twists it into a frontal hammerlock and then sends him overhead with a belly to belly suplex. Hendrix lands hard on his arm, and he screams out in unusual pain, almost as if he dislocated something.

He squirms and calls for the ref to come over. Evie spreads her arms, wondering what is going as she wants to continue her impressive momentum. But Miner keeps her back, saying he has to make sure Joey can continue the match. But with Evie’s and the referee’s back turned, Chris hops off the apron, reaches underneath it and retrieves what is clearly a pair of brass knuckles! He quickly rolls into the ring and blasts Evie on the back of her skull before throwing them away so the referee can’t see. He gets out of the ring and as if on cue, Joey’s pain seems to have stopped completely and he covers Evie!

ONE!

TWO!!

THR-Tasha breaks up the pin! The Starlet recovered just in time and saves the match for her and her team after an illegal blow. An enraged Tasha wants to go after Joey, but Corey Miner keeps her back and physically tries to force her out of the ring. Unfortunately, this leaves Evie open for another double team by the Hendrix brothers, as Chris slides back in the ring and they pummel Evie into a heap. This only enrages Tasha even further, but what she doesn’t realize is that the more she struggles, the longer it will take for Miner to focus his attention back on the match and see what is happening as he is trying to force her out of the ring. Then the crowd screams as they see a familiar face hop the barricade!
Karma Tenzin is in the house! He has an obvious bone to pick with the Hendrix brothers after they assaulted his girlfriend CJ Kim following their interview. The Bhutanese Beast slides in the ring and as both Hendrix brothers get up, he hits them both with a running axe handle, a trick out of his Armenian friend’s book! Tasha, seeing this, immediately gets back in her corner and Tenzin is quick to slide out of the ring. Tasha spurs Evie on, and the Starlet slowly crawls to the corner… and gets the tag in!
Tasha hops on the turnbuckle and takes a leap that sees her nearly touching the lights on the roof! She hits a massive flying legdrop on the legal Hendrix brother Joey, and shoe goes for the cover!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Corey Miner calls for the bell.

Winners, by pinfall at 10:10
–THE NASHVILLE STARLETS–

Tasha seems overjoyed, and it feels like retribution for Torment as she hugs Evie. Karma Tenzin looks on from the outside, stoic but content, as he too will feel like some justice has been served.

Match Three – Single’s Match
Danny Oliver vs. Maddogg

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Danny Oliver couldn’t wait to get his hands on Mike Rosati and, as soon as the bell rang, he rushed over to get things started. Danny started firing hard shots at Maddogg, who responded in kind with big shots of his own. The fans roared their appreciation as the two superstars stood in the middle of the ring exchanging punches.

Mike ducked under one of Danny’s shots and began tagging the younger wrestler with a flurry of vicious punches. Danny was forced back into the ropes where Maddogg pulled back to launch a huge clothesline and both wrestlers tumbled to the mat outside the ring.

Claudia Morello begins her count even as the two are just starting to get back up. The change of location doesn’t change the fight at all and as soon as both men are back up they go right back to throwing big punches, hitting each other with stuff and vicious shots.

The back and forth continues, each man landing punches but neither giving any ground. Suddenly Mad dog reaches out and rakes Danny’s eyes, drawing loud boos from the crowd and an admonition from Morello. Mike grabs hold of Danny and whips him into the ring post but Danny reverses it, ramming Mike into the steel post. The younger Oliver charges in but Rosati ducks out of the way to let Danny slam into the steel.

Maddogg slides back into the ring just long enough to get Claudia to restart her count. Maddogg starts to lift Danny back up but Danny launches a hard punch to the gut. In response Mike punches Danny hard to knock him back down. Maddogg then begins to drop some big stomps down onto his prone opponent.

Mike lifts Danny back up and then flings him back down with a snap suplex. Inside the ring Morello yelled out that she was at five. Maddogg shrugged and lifted Danny back up and made it look like he was going to roll the Dog of War into the ring when he suddenly reversed and tossed Danny over the barricade and then skid back in and then back out, causing Claudia sigh in frustration.

Danny is stating to get back up when Maddogg grabs his head and slams it into the barricade once…twice…three times! Maddogg then suplexes Danny back over the barricade to land on the thin mat and writhe in pain. Maddogg drops a few more stuff stomps down on Danny’s face. Mike then lifts Danny again and this time does indeed roll him back into the ring.

Mike follows him into the ring and starts to lift his opponent back up but Danny drops in to perform a fireman carry. Maddogg hits the ground hard and pops up just in time to eat a flying forearm from Danny. Maddogg pops back up but Danny drops him again with a second forearm. When Maddogg gets up once more his opponent comes in with a massive clothesline that puts Mike back down.

The younger Oliver rushes to the ropes and springboards off to land a big moonsault and tries for a pin.

ONE!

TWO!!

Rosati kicks out!

Danny gets up and lifts Mike back up before scooping him up and slamming Maddogg back down. Danny lifts his opponent again and then flings Rosati to the ground with a belly to belly suplex. Oliver picks Mike back up but Maddogg drops low to hit Danny below the belt.

Mike shrugs off the warning he gets from the ref as he lifts Danny’s legs up and drops to land a fist drop into Danny’s groin. Claudia gets down to give Maddogg another warning but Rosati just laughs her off. Maddogg picks Danny back up and then DDTs him down and rolls him up.

ONE!

TWO!!

Danny gets up!

Mike grimaces and lifts Danny once more and begins pelting him with hard punches. As Danny reels Maddogg hits his foe with a rough kick to the gut and then attempts a chin breaker. The Dog of War shoves Maddogg off and into the ropes.

Maddogg bounces back and Danny grips him up into a spine buster. Danny stands and grabs Mike’s let’s to lock in the scorpion death lock. Maddogg struggles but can’t get free but refuses to submit! Without warning David Stone comes out of the audience and rushes to the ropes. Stone jumps up on the apron and Danny lets go of Maddogg and begins arguing with David.

Morello rushes to stop a fight before it happens but Danny moves to attack Stone, who drops down to the floor. Danny yells a few choice words at Stone then turns back but is greeted by a kick to the gut from Maddogg before Mike drops him with the has breaker!

Maddogg rolls him up.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Winner, by pinfall at 08:42
–MADDOGG–

The referee calls for the bell and Rosati rolls out of the ring to retrieve his prized belt. He heads back up the ramp throwing taunts with Stone at Danny who is just getting up and giving his opponent a dirty look as the crowd boos the victorious Maddogg. But New Found Attitude don’t seem to care, as they score a major victory!

Match Four – Single’s Match
Jasmine Corinth vs. Sam Kelly

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

The match featuring Samuel Kelly and Jasmine Corinth begins with Sam strolling up to Jasmine and offering a handshake. Warily Jasmine accepts and the two exchange what seems like a normal show of good sportsmanship until Corinth tries to pull away and Kelly tugs her back in before dropping her with a short arm clothesline. The fans boo as Samuel begins to stomp and kick his downed foe. The ref calls for the bell as Serious Sam continues to put the boot to Jasmine.

Kelly lifts his opponent back up and whips her into the ropes, rushing to clothesline her again. Corinth ducks the attack and hits the ropes again jumping up to put Sam down with a cross chop. Corinth gets back to her feet and charges at Sam, jumping to hit him with a dropkick as he was getting back to his feet.

Jasmine picks Sam up and then begins to punch and chop him, backing him up into the corner. Once there Corinth starts to hit Sam in the ribs with kick after kick ending with a big knee that drops him onto a sitting position. Corinth then charges forward to try a running face wash but Sam rolls out of the way.

Jasmine catches herself before colliding with the turnbuckle. Sam rolls to his feet and quickly moves to attack Corinth, but she puts her hands up to block. When Sam sees the high road blocked he takes the low road, kicking his opponent in the stomach. Kelly grabs two big hands full of her hair and begins scrubbing her face against the turnbuckle. The official begins to count but Sam only relents when he hears four.

Once he’s in the clear Sam grabs her hair once again and this time begins to drag Jasmine around the ring, wrenching her head back and forth painfully. As he hears the ref count again he waits until the three count this time. Instead of releasing, however, Kelly flings Corinth to the ground.

Sam begins to lift Jasmine by the hair again but this time she reaches up and grabs his head, flopping back down to perform a has breaker against her head. Corinth gets back to her feet and picks Sam back up before she lifts him into a suplex, she rolls through into a second suplex, a third!

Jasmine gets Kelly back to his feet and whips him into the corner again, running to spear him against the turnbuckle. Sam falls to his backside again and Corinth charges in, this time connecting with the face wash she had previously missed.

Sam rolls out of the ring to save himself and lays on the mat. The official begins to count but blocks Jasmine from going out. With the distraction of Jasmine trying to exit the ring Sam pulls something from his boot. Kelly climbs back onto the apron and Jasmine pushes past the ref to grab him.

Sam thrusts his shoulder into Jasmine’s stomach then slugs her in the head with his foreign object, dazing Corinth. Sam then leaps over the ropes and flips Jasmine over, tugging down on her tights and putting his legs on the ropes.

The especially oblivious referee drops to count.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Winner, by pinfall at 06:21
–SAMUEL KELLY–

Serious Sam quickly rolls out of the ring amidst loud booing. He raises his arms as he walks back up the ramp, celebrating his ill-gotten victory. But a victory nonetheless, as an outraged Jasmine is left behind in the ring.

Match Five – Single’s match
Tiami Erickson vs. Cassie Sykes

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

It seems like Cassie Sykes was serious when she said she was going to be ‘more than Marcus LeVine’s fiancée’, as she stands in the ring completely by herself, with not an Empire member in sight. Regardless, before the bell rings, Tiami takes a few looks around to make sure she isn’t being snuck up on or being ambushed.

When both she and the referee are satisfied, the bell is rang, and this contest is underway! Sykes is quick to go on the attack, and perhaps her initial explosiveness catches Tiami off guard a bit. She rushes in quickly and knees Tiami in the gut, doubling her over, before following it up with a hard kneestrike to Tiami’s forehead. Reeling backwards, Sykes sees an opportunity and catches Erickson with a spinning heel kick. Tiami falls down to the mat near the corner and immediately latches on to lower ropes to both avoid being dragged back to the center or being pinned.

Sykes grins, and points at Tiami with her thumb and index finger together, telling her how ‘close’ she came to being defeated already. Tiami has a semblance of a smirk on her face as she uses the ropes to get back to her feet. She gets out of the corner and the two start circling each other. This time, when Sykes charges, Tiami is prepared. She plants a knee of her own in Cassie’s gut, and runs the ropes, nailing her with a running bulldog that sends her face first into the mat. Ice Spike! She immediately tries to capitalize by rolling her onto her back and going for the quick pin.

ONE!

TWO!!

Sykes kicks out! Tiami is right back on her, and locks in a headlock from behind. Cassie tries to get back to a vertical basis and succeeds using all the strength in her legs that she has. She lifts Tiami up and coutners the headlock into a back suplex!
The crowd applauds the little back and forth exchange, but it’s obvious these two women didn’t come here for their adoration, but to put a hurting on each other. Cassie is the first one back up and starts stomping away on Tiami, foregoing any and all technical aspects of the sport. Tiami tries to back away, but all it does is back herself into a corner, and Sykes takes full advantage by stomping a mudhole in her until Claudia Morello comes in after a four count to break her up. Sykes is on fire, and as she back off she throw her hands in the air, but the crowd seem to have a preference for Tiami, as they boo her.

Sykes shakes her head, but the momentary distraction of the booing allows Tiami the exact opportunity she needs to explode out of the corner. She goes for the Dead As Ice!

But Sykes sees it coming just in time, and reverses it into a drop toe-hold. She steps over Tiami and grabs her arm, obviously going for a Kimura, which is Marcus’ finisher! But Tiami struggles and scrambles, and manages to get her foot on the rope before Cassie can lock it and, and forces the break. Sykes grins, knowing she literally has her opponent on the ropes. Tiami seems a bit taken aback, as Cassie puts up way more of a fight than she had expected. She slowly gets back to her feet, and Sykes invites her to bring it. She does, and they lock up in the middle of the ring. Tiami manages to get Cassie in a hammerlock! She wrings away, and Cassie maneuvers her way towards the ropes. She bounces off of them to gain the momentum she needs to break up the hammerlock, and immediately follows it up with a Pelé Kick! Tiami collapses to her knees, and Cassie runs the ropes, looking for a shining wizard! Tiami rolls out of the way just in time, and as Cassie gets back up, Tiami grabs her from behind and locks her in a dragon sleeper, before calling for the Icy Coffin!

The crowd cheers, but Tiami takes a bit too long and Cassie twists free, before hitting Tiami with a round house kick!
Tiami staggers back and bounces off the ropes, but she too uses the bounce it provides to gain explosive momentum that completely catches Cassie off guard. Dead As Ice connects! Tiami goes in for the pin immediately and hooks both Cassie’s legs.

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Winner, by pinfall at 07:46
–TIAMI ERICKSON–

The bell rings and Tiami’s theme song hits, but her ecstasy seems to be short-lived as all members of the Empire rush towards the ring! The crowd’s boos alert Tiami and as all of the Empire slides int the ring, Tiami makes herself scarce. Still, she stands victorious and she point as Marcus LeVine. ‘One down,’ she can clearly be seen mouthing. ‘And all the rest of you are next.’

Match Six – Single’s match
Lucilla vs. The Costa Rican Beast

Posted Image

(Referee: Claudia Morello)

Serpent vs. Wolfman. An intriguing contest, but not so for Lucilla who looks down her nose at Bestia, obviously wanting to be anywhere else in the world but here. As the Costa Rican Beast goes on the attack, Lucilla ducks and dodges, apparently doing anything in her athletic and gymnastic repertoire to avoid having to touch her opponent.

He clotheslines, she falls don and kips up. He goes for a dropkick, she rolls out of the way. He tries to go for a grapple, she cartwheels to the side. She wants nothing to do with Diego whatsoever, and when the crowd starts to boo, Lucilla screams at them, flipping them off and rolling out of the ring, shaking her head as she slowly goes up the entrance ramp. She isn’t in the least bit interested in seeing out this match, and would rather take a count-out loss than compete here.

Unfortunately for her, Diego doesn’t take too kindly to that. He rolls out of the ring and pursues Lucilla, hopping on the ringside barricade and running along them, before leaping off and nailing Lucilla with a spinning headscissors that sends her flying back towards the ring. He then Irish Whips her towards the squared circle, and her back hits the ring apron hard! Diego comes diving in and as he jumps through the bottom and middle rope, catches Lucilla with a glancing blow of his knee. The Sicilian is down on the outside, and Diego is on the prowl! He hops on the nearest top turnbuckle and jumps, executing a perfect shooting star press to the outside, fully hitting Lucilla as he gets all of it and then some. The crowd get a legit ‘holy shit’ chant started up, and Bestia is soon back up to his feet! He rolls Lucilla back into the ring and the younger Pegorino starts crawling away, but he grabs her by the ankle. He lifts it up and smashes her knee repeatedly into the canvas before dragging it over to the nearest rope and laying it on there. He uses the ropes for extra hight as he jumps, stomping down hard on Lucilla’s ankle, making her knee torque.

Lucilla retreats, and she tries to roll through to get back to her feet. She does so, and as Bestia pursues, she turns around and goes for the things that has always worked for her in the past… testicular claw!

But Bestia is unaffected. He simply looks at her and grins, exposing his teeth, and Lucilla looks legitimately horrified. She gasps, her jaw drops and her eyes widen, and then Diego sinks his teeth in her arm, biting her! Lucilla shrieks and jumps back in horror, before wanting to run out of the ring, but Diego turns her around, and hits the Mauling!!

The referee is right in there to count!

ONE!

TWO!!

THREE!!!

Winner, by pinfall at 04:39
–THE COSTA RICAN BEAST–

The bell rings, and the crowd looks stunned! Few people had expected this, as Lucilla kicks out of the pinning predicament too late! She sits in her knees, looking on in equal shock and even more horror as the Costa Rican Beast’s hand is raised!

Main Event – Single’s Match
Ruby vs. Michael Kelly

Posted Image

It’s the main event, and the Vancouverites couldn’t be more excited to see their favorite local superhero Ruby face off against Michael Kelly, who injured their local boy Mike Manning and nearly did the same to the much adored Josiah Turnbow. As Ruby’s theme song hits, they get to their feet in appreciation and the green-yellow masked tiny Canadian comes out to a standing ovation.

She poses atop the entrance ramp like only true superheroes can, and as she’s ready to go down the aisle…

*WHACK!!*

Michael Kelly comes running in from behind and nails Ruby in the back of the head with a devastating running elbow! Completely unprepared, Ruby collapses and as she lies motionless, Kelly mounts her back and starts clobbering away on the back of her head with fists and elbow strikes. The crowd mercilessly boo Kelly, who just grins and shakes his head. He grabs Ruby’s limp, lifeless body and slings it over his shoulder. He walks down the aisle with Belle Valentine on his tail, and in the front row, sees a kid wearing the same costume Ruby wears, complete with mask. He smiles and walks over before lifting Ruby into a gorilla press, and slamming her down on the ringside barricade right in front of the little kid’s eyes!

The child starts crying, but Kelly seems to care little for her feelings. With Ruby slumped over the barricade, he grabs her mask and tears it off in one jerk. He offers it to the kid, who quickly tries to snatch it away, but he pulls his hand back before she can. He takes it with both hands and before her eyes, rips the mask that symbolizes Ruby’s values in two before throwing it to the floor.

The decibel meter couldn’t handle the boo’s. People start throwing their drinks and even snacks into the ringside area, hoping to hit their antagonist but Kelly laughs it off. He grabs Ruby by the head and proceeds to sling her over his shoulder again.
But before he can make his way to the ring any further, the crowd’s boos turns into screams and cheers, as Josiah Turnbow rushes to the Ruby’s aid, like she did for him. Kelly throws Ruby off, and the two starts exchanging blows on the entrance ramp. Belle Valentine shrieks and starts hammering away at Josiah as well, before the crowd cheers even louder as Jasmine and the Nashville Starlets emerge from backstage! Knowing he’s outnumbered, Kelly hits Turnbow with one last devastating elbow strike before he hops the barricade and walks away, grinning as the stewards have trouble to stop the fans themselves from assaulting him.
Eventually Lara Pegorino also comes out, accompanied by EMT’s as the Torment members bow over her to make sure she’s okay, but she’s still not moving.

Lara walks over the Sylvie Rose, who announces to the crowd that the match will be declared a no-contest. Lara takes over the microphone, and announces that next week, Michael Kelly and Samuel Kelly will face both Ruby and Josiah Turnbow in a tag team match to settle this score!
