Fifteen shows in a row!

Location:

UWE Studios, Vancouver
Posted Image

Oh yes, lightning will strike not once, not twice, not thrice, but… fiftence? Oh hell yes! UWE has reached another landmark show, and now that we’re at XV, things seems to be heating up faster and bigger than ever before! We have some treats in store for you tonight, with Lucilla & Ruby in action for the first time since they got legally married, JTX continuing his crusade against the Moores, the return of Stone… and a champion vs. champion match! All that, and more!

~*~*~

Show Opener – Tag Team Match

Lucilla & Ruby vs. Nidia Vladiwebski & Mike Manning

Posted Image

(Referee: TBD)

Ruby & Lucilla are now officially married, with Ruby forced to uphold her end of the deal she made at Genesis. With them having been at each other’s throat for months now, they need to find a way to co-exist; and what better way to do that than face Her Haplessness Nidia Vladiwebski and The Hapless One, Mike Manning? Both will want to prove what they’ve got in store, but neither Lucilla or Ruby are pushovers. We predict a walkover, but hey, that’s just us.

~*~*~

Match Two – Single’s Match

JTX vs. Matt Moore

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

JTX says it isn’t personal, but he sure seems to be gunning for the Moores. With Matt picking up a DQ victory against none other than the Ultimate Wrestling Champion himself last week (with a little help from JTX), he will now seek vengeance against the man who, as the rumor have it, warped his brother’s mind.

JTX on the other hand, will look to continue his great run here in UWE, after knocking off Karma Tenzin. While he doesn’t seem to have many fans in the upper echelons of UWE, there is no denying that JTX is forcing them to notice him, and not just because of his flashy attires.

~*~*~

Match Three – Single’s Match

Corporal Punishment vs. Wülf Erikson

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Special Forces used to come out to the ring under 5FDP’s Bulletproof. And that’s what he will have to be as he takes on the Silver Bullet. Wülf Erikson keeps knocking off legends, and last week was no different as he defeated Mike Rosati. However, Corporal Punishment is a legend in his own right in the tag division, but can he become a single’s legend too? A win over the red-hot Erikson would go a long way towards achieving that. This one could be interesting, as both competitors are rumored to be in line for a shot at The Armenian Beast’s Canadian Championship at Exodus. Who knows, this match might lock it in!

~*~*~

Match Four – Single’s Match

James Calhoun vs. David Stone

Posted Image

(Referee: Corey Miner)

We saw this one a couple of weeks ago, but the landscape has changed dramatically since then. James Calhoun has one more week after OTT XV to prove that he didn’t fake his sobriety. Unless he does so, he’ll be forced to apologize to Lise Fortier, or face suspension.

Regardless, the stakes are as high as the tension, as James Calhoun has been very open in his criticism of Ronnie Cage. Many others have joined in on this, but David Stone has been notable silent. What will he have to say on the matter, and can he knock off James Calhoun this time? This could be a slugfest.

~*~*~

Main Event – Single’s Match – Champion vs. Champion – Non-title

Ronnie Cage vs. The Armenian Beast

Posted Image

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

Champ vs. champ? Hell yes! This is a landmark show after all, and what better way to celebrate than to pit UWE’s two belt-holders against each other? Gurgen suffered a freaky loss against Wülf Erikson, while Ronnie Cage’s momentum was halted at the hands of Matt Moore and JTX last week. Both champs could use a bit of a boost, and knocking off a fellow title holder will do just that!

With both champions having contenders breathing in their necks, they will look to show why exactly it is that they deserve to hold their belts!

Over The Top returns to Vancouver!

Location:

UWE Studios, Vancouver

Over the Top returns to its hometown of Vancouver! After a chaotic week in Portland, the UWE Superstars will once again grace the UWE Studios with their presence! All of your favorite Superstars will be there, as Ronnie Cage returns to in-ring action after a week at the commentator’s booth, Ruby is once again medically cleared to compete, and Wülf Erikson hopes to pull off another big win! But our heroes will not have it easy.

What’s more, we will see the debut of two brand-new Superstars, as ‘The Radical’ Gabe Reno faces Hijo De Los Muertos.

~*~*~

Show Opener – Single’s Match

Karma Tenzin vs. JTX

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

One of UWE’s top faces returns to action and he faces none other than the pink-haired grappler JTX! Karma Tenzin may have come up short at Genesis, but few will ever forget his incredible run in the Kyle Stone Memorial Cup. As a law-abiding peaceful Buddhist, he could not differ more from his opponent this week, as JTX makes his first appearance at Over the Top as a full-fledged member of the UWE roster. Thanks to a victory over Brandon Moore at Genesis, JTX now has a lucrative contract, and what JTX will do next, only he knows…

~*~*~

Match Two – Single’s Match

Gabe Reno vs. Hijo De Los Muertos

(Referee: Corey Miner)

‘The Radical’ Gabe Reno has arrived at UWE, and the internationally successful Superstar will look to prove that he is good enough to one day be counted among UWE’s elite. But the same can be said of Hijo De Los Muertos, who will be making his long-awaited debut as well. Only one of these competitors will be able to kick off their UWE careers with a win, but both of them will definitely hope to impress the top UWE brass, as they look to further their careers.

~*~*~

Match Three – Single’s Match

Mike Rosati vs. Wülf Erikson

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

“I respect what your accomplishments, but don’t ever mistake that for respecting you.” Those were Wülf Erikson’s words as he exchanged words with Mike Rosati on social media. It became very clear that these two have a deep dislike for each other, and General Manager Lara Pegorino saw no better option than to let these two settle it in the ring.

While Wülf is looking for another big win in UWE, Mike Rosati will look to build momentum as he continues his rise to the top of UWE. But the Silver Bullet has shown time and time again that he is a formidable competitor, knocking off big name after big name. Can he shoot the former Maddogg down, or is Rosati bulletproof?

~*~*~

Match Four – Single’s Match – Non-title

Ronnie Cage vs. Matt Moore

(Referee: Corey Miner)

After spending OTT XIII as part of the announcing team, the Ultimate Wrestling Champion Ronnie Cage returns to in-ring action, facing the older of the Moore brothers: Matt. Both have a lot on their mind, with Matt worried about his younger brother, and Ronnie seemingly having a target on his back, with the likes on Mike Rosati, James Calhoun, etc. eager to take aim. The champion will have his work cut out for him though, as a Moore is never meant to be taken lightly. However, he knows that if he wants to continue his reign as champion in dominant fashion, a win tonight is imperative.

~*~*~

Main Event – Single’s Match – Non-title

Asylum vs. James Calhoun

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

James Calhoun doesn’t have many friends. But Mike Rosati is one of them. Ever since Asylum attacked Rosati, Calhoun has been very supportive of the former Maddogg, and hasn’t quite had a chance for some payback. Whilst Calhoun is known for saying that Mike can fight his own battles, there is no doubt he’ll enjoy putting the hurt on the man who caused his friend’s predicament in the first place. This ought to be an explosive main event, as Asylum will be eager to reestablish his reign of terror on UWE.

~*~*~

Roleplay limits: Each participant can post 2 (TWO) roleplays each, with a 1.500 word limit per roleplay, before the deadline.

Match promo limits: No more than 500 words for your entrance and you may post endless match posts of maximum 500 words per entry. If your opponent hasn’t posted within 24 hours you may double post a match post, but if and only if the entrances are up for all competitors.

Ultimate Wrestling Entertainment Proudly Presents…

An FWPK Enterprises: Over the Top Production

Over the Top is back, for its lucky number thirteenth show!

Location:

Moda Center – Portland, Oregon

GENESIS more than lived up to the hype! In a show that will be talked about for years to come, the Vancouver crowd was treated to heartbreaking moments, twists, turns, championship coronations, and much more! But it would be wrong to rest on our laurels, which is why UWE is once again crossing the border. Last time UWE went abroad we visited Seattle, but we’re taking it a bit further this time as we visit the good people of Portland, Oregon.
With Genesis behind us, it’s time to look to the future once again. Some feuds may have been settled at the PPV, but some fires never die out. The rebirth is complete. Now it’s time to live!

~*~*~

Show Opener – Single’s Match

Mike Rosati vs. Mike Manning

(Referee: JJ Hemphill)

Mike Rosati is back! He circumvented the rules at Genesis, and landed himself a spot in the Canadian Championship Battle Royal. He made a good impression, but was eventually thwarted by the antics of The Hapless Once, Manning, who he actually eliminated twice!

Nevertheless, General Manager Lara Pegorino has agreed to put him on the card, and while it’s not the vengeance Rosati had hoped for, the former Maddogg will at least get some action under his belt as Asylum awaits.

~*~*~

Match Two – Single’s Match

Matt Moore vs. Jared Oliver

(Referee: Corey Miner)

Matt and Jared actually have some things in common. Both have brothers who came up short at Genesis, with Brandon Moore suffering defeat at the hands of JTX, and Danny Oliver being eliminated in the Battle Royal. What’s more, it was actually Matt who eliminated Jared’s brother Danny, and the Dog of War will be looking to redeem his family name, as the Olivers bravely keep on looking for their first win in UWE. While Matt Moore might have some ring rust, he definitely has the pure Moore pedigree, but Jared will be very, very hungry to get a W up on the board.

~*~*~

Match Three – Single’s Match

David Stone vs. Corporal Punishment

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

At Genesis, David Stone retired Corporal Punishment’s uncle, Major Payne, in what will go down as one of the most heartbreaking moments in UWE history. While it was never personal between the two, Corporal Punishment will undoubtedly be looking for payback, as Stone has taken his tag team partner away from him.

Could this be the match that propels Punishment to true single’s superstardom? Or might this lead to the forging of a new, unlikely alliance? Will Punishment blame Stone? And how will Stone cope with the knowledge of having retired one of UWE’s most beloved tag team wrestlers of all time? So many questions. Only one place to find the answers.

~*~*~

JTX Contract signing

At Genesis, JTX did what he said he would do: defeat Brandon Moore. Sure, his tactics were underhanded, but what did you expect? JTX will sign his contract live on Over the Top programming, as Lise Fortier has asked that she handle this personally. For our CEO, ‘thirteen’ might indeed prove to be bad luck.

~*~*~

Match Four – Single’s Match

Lucilla vs. James Calhoun

(Referee: Corey Miner)

A two-match losing streak for Calhoun might have seemed unthinkable a couple of weeks ago, but after losses to Ruby and Wülf Erikson, the cowboy must now once again remind everybody why he is the most dangerous man in UWE today. Having apparently allied himself with Amy Gobraless, what better way to reaffirm his spot at the top of the food chain than by taking down Lucilla, one of his new partner’s most hated rivals of all time?

Lucilla might be on a high after winning an engagement with Ruby at Genesis, but she will have to be at the top of her game, as Calhoun is just as dirty, vicious and… callous. And what factor will Ruby play in this match? Having won a match against Calhoun herself, she might look to sabotage her new fiancée right out of the gate… or will they actually find common ground? Stranger things have happened… Especially since it were Calhoun and Amy who gave Ruby her alleged concussion.

~*~*~

Main Event – Single’s Match – Non-title

Wülf Erikson vs. The Armenian Beast

(Referee: Chuck Aitken)

With The Armenian Beast being crowned the ‘Champion of all of Canadia’ at Genesis, it is time for challengers to step up to the plate! Few people impressed as highly as Wülf Erikson did at Genesis, and GM Lara Pegorino has awarded him with a main event spot against a man whose animalistic nature might even trump that of his own.

If Wülf manages a victory here, it would be almost impossible to think that he isn’t next in line for a shot at the Canadian Championship. That said, there are no doubt many others waiting in line; like Amy Gobraless, who came up just short at the end of the Battle Royal. Nevertheless, Wülf gets another chance to shine, but The Armenian Beast will undoubtedly not go down easily. These two crowd favorites will be sure to put on a very entertaining show, worthy of a main event!
